Eva's Café and Catering Company

I was a guest at a graduation party that Eva catered in May 2024. The event was a fairly casual affair in the community room of an apartment complex. The menu was red beans and rice, shrimp and grits, fried catfish nuggets with a sauce and there was a crawfish pie. First I was really surprised that my friend, who hosted this event for her son graduating from college, went so far as to have this event catered with such a great menu. I really expected fruit and veggie trays. So when I saw the hot food I got excited that I would actually get a hot meal. Well let me tell you, I was even more excited once that food hit my tastebuds!! Everything was delicious!! The grits were creamy and the shrimp was nice and saucy with great flavor. The catfish nuggets were hot and delicious and the red beans and rice had the perfect seasoning and gravy ratio for the rice. Eva’s servers did a great job serving with a smile, great attitudes, clean hygienic practices and fast. I would highly recommend hiring Eva!! Book her before someone else does!!

Miss Eva was an absolute joy to work with. She answers emails within an hour. I told her my budget and she worked within it and made suggestions on how to carry out my “Welcome to NOLA” theme. She is a consummate professional. They arrived about 90 minutes prior to the start of my event so they could be ready for the planned even start time. Her food was amazing. I can’t tell you what was best (maybe the crawfish pies) because everything was absolutely delicious. Well seasoned, generous portions and great presentation. If you are looking for someone who gives top notch service, communicates well and is an overall joy to work with please consider using her catering services. You won’t be disappointed.
