of 2024 when we got engaged. Our experience with this DJ company was one of the biggest disappointments of our wedding day. We hired them expecting a professional, experienced DJ who would be prepared, communicate clearly, and allow us to focus on celebrating with our family and friends. Instead, their lack of preparation, professionalism, and communication created unnecessary stress throughout one of the most important days of our lives. One of the most upsetting moments happened during our grand entrance, when the DJ introduced my wife by the wrong name -"Ashley” instead of Autumn. This was not a minor detail. She was the bride, her name was provided in advance, and it was included in the wedding timeline. Hearing another woman's name announced during my wife's grand entrance, in front of all of our family and friends, was incredibly embarrassing and hurtful. It is difficult to understand how a professional wedding DJ could get something so fundamental wrong. The problems continued throughout the reception. There were repeated computer and equipment failures, including periods with no music during cocktail hour. The wrong playlist was played during dinner, scheduled announcements were missed or announced incorrectly, and the tea ceremony was completely overlooked despite being clearly included in the timeline. The DJ later had to leave the reception to retrieve equipment that had been left upstairs after the ceremony and asked our wedding coordinator to take over announcing the toasts and speeches. More equipment failures occurred during our grand entrance and parent dances, leaving an awkward period of silence during important moments of our wedding. As much as we tried to laugh all of these issues off, they were embarrassing and nearly ruined what should have been the start of our new life together. Our coordinator and other vendors repeatedly had to step in to keep the event moving. Instead of being able to simply enjoy our wedding, we watched other professionals compensate for problems that should have been handled by the DJ. The problems also started well before the wedding day. We communicated with the owner, Louis, multiple times and were repeatedly told that we would receive a written contract, finalized timeline, and script. We never received the written contract, finalized timeline, or script that we were promised. Communication from the owner was frustratingly poor and unresponsive, despite the importance of making sure everything was properly coordinated before our wedding. We understand that technical difficulties can happen at an event. Equipment can fail, and occasional mistakes can occur. What is unacceptable is the sheer number of issues, the lack of preparation, and the failure to provide the level of professional service we paid for. Most importantly, these problems directly affected major moments of our wedding and required our coordinator and other vendors to repeatedly intervene. We hired this company because we trusted them to handle one of the most important days of our lives professionally. Instead, we were left dealing with repeated mistakes, equipment failures, poor preparation, and extremely frustrating communication. We would strongly recommend that couples think twice before booking this company.
