e vendor. We used Event Advantage as our caterer and DJ and could not have been more impressed! For starters, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS! They helped us cater our menu to be the most cost-effective and custom to our wedding and guests. On top of this, we had the pleasure of having Loui as our DJ, and he absolutely popped off! His music selections were perfect, and he read the crowd really well. Communication was good and was especially productive when calling the company as opposed to messaging. Overall, we had an incredible experience with Event Advantage and Louis, and are so thankful for their help in making our wedding the best day ever!

day, but need to be honest. With large gaps in communication leading up to the big day from the team at Event Advantage, to the DJ (not Louis & seemed incredibly flustered throughout the entire event) messing up several big announcements/names, dropped the ball on the ceremony music, fumbled through reception song choices (several family members including myself asked to kindly change songs and even gave a few suggestions), down to the cookies that I was assured by Louis were hand made by his daughter and would come in a mix of snickerdoodle, frosted, chocolate chip, etc., (for $300) when in fact we were told by the server behind the table that they were store bought. 2 stars is the best I could bring myself to give. A wedding is supposed to be that ONE time in your life where a business owner should do their very best to ensure they are paying the closest of attention to details (food, music etc.). Specially when you are completing an event planner form that listed out EVERY item, song, and name so all one had to do was print out and have the DJ read it at the specified times. I even went as far as sending photos of the venue to ensure they knew where things would go seeing how I was across the country. Unfortunately Event Advantage missed the mark and sadly cost my husband and I $3k for nothing more than delicious tacos. We unfortunately will not be recommending Event Advantage with Louis Chiero for any future events.

a reality. There staff was so helpful and answered allot of emails and phone calls for us. DJ was the best I have ever heard and I have been to allot of Weddings. He really read the crowd and did allot of original mixes and Mashups. Emcee was amazing kept everything moving. Everyone danced all night long. The food was some of the best I have ever had in my life. 10 of my guests told me it was the best meal they had had in there life. I can't say enough about this company best decision we could have made.

He came with us for a walkthrough at our venue to understand the layout so he could have the perfect setup for our wedding. He was attentive to details and coordinated all of our special songs/dances well. He arrived at the venue early to set up and make sure he had everything he needed. We had a complicated setup at different locations around the venue. He did a great job coordinating speeches during dinner. We thought his mc style worked well with our guests, and he got people on the dancefloor the whole time. The photobooth was awesome and we highly recommend. We also opted to get some additional services such as a monogram, dancing on the clouds, and uplighting, which to be honest were just ok. Overall great value. Most importantly, Lou took the time to understand the vibe we wanted for the wedding and listened to all our requests.

verwhelmed with the last-minute stressors, as per any couple, and Lou did a great job giving us a rundown of everything we should expect and the proceeding order of events of the reception. During the event itself, he was an amicable and popular MC and, most importantly, he helped me feel in total control of the event. Between the very helpful staff at the Croatian American Cultural Center and Lou, I felt confident in directing my family members and providing support to my bride. Music wise: I provided Lou with a detailed set of playlists and gave him wiggle-room to play music for the audience demographic. He conducted accordingly and the event went smoothly. We also enlisted him to do a fog machine during our first dance and a photo booth throughout the event; all of it went great! I really am incredibly appreciative of Lou and the hard work that he put into my reception.

here was a complete lack of communication. A month before the wedding I called and emailed them to confirm and go over the details however it took 3 calls and a few emails to get a response. I finally had my husband call and they picked up but couldn't talk at that moment. I had honestly thought I was being ghosted and I had started developing contingency plans. In early emails I was told to fill out the planning sheet and then call to discuss it and if I needed help with anything they would help. There planning sheet was difficult to use and outdated. Most of what was on it did not apply to our wedding. I sent it back to them as well as a table that clearly outlined our time schedule, music preferences and choosen songs. This was in the same detailed format that I sent all of my wedding vendors and the feedback I got from other vendors was that it was extremely organized and helpful, however event advantage told me that "there DJ's are not trained to use that". I was finally able to schedule a meeting with them to discuss details for the Tuesday before my Saturday wedding. However, after waiting an hour without them calling at the designated, we left for dinner and then they finally called while we were in the car. The owner was the one who called us and not the assigned Dj. It would have been really helpful to talk to the Dj that came to our wedding because there was many missed communications. I went into my wedding day thinking that it was a 50/50 shot someone would show up based on the lack of communication leading up to that point. A very nice man did show up, which was great. He was very friendly but unprepared, I do not think any of this was his fault. I think it is the companies lack of organization. He did not have our ceremony songs downloaded and our ceremony site had little cell reception. Thankful one of groomsmen was able to set up a hotspot for him to be able to download the songs. The perssesional was the wrong version of the song eventhough I had sent the exact version to the owner of the company. Getting to the reception the Dj did not know what the anniversary dance was and I had to explain it to him. We also had not picked out a song for it which was something I forgot, however it should've been something that the company noticed. One of the major things my husband and I were looking forward to was this "prank" we were going to play on all our guest were we called them all out to dance to the acoustic version of "Get Low" and then it switched into the normal version, which would then start the party. This got messed up because the DJ only called the wedding party out. This was a small thing but dissapointed me because we had really looked forward to that moment. Overall the music played was okay, we told them middle school dance vibes but it kinda missed the mark. Again that is something that could've been fixed if we had actually met with the Dj before hand. My guests did a great job taking over the song request sheet which in turn gave us the party we wanted. I wanna stress that I think the Dj there did the best that the company prepared him for and that the lack of communication from the company was the downfall. They were incredibly difficult to work with but they showed up!
