We started working with her a year and a half in advance of our June 2026 wedding as a full planning client. She really understood moments where we needed a break from wedding to-dos, versus moments where we needed to step it up! The month leading up to the wedding, Sweety was in constant communication and ensuring that everything went smoothly. On the day of the wedding, Sweety and her team were quick and efficient, having everything ready to go well in advance of our start time, and working with all of the additional vendors to ensure everyone was on track. We truly felt connected to Sweety as a friend, and felt like she understood when we wanted to make sacrifices for the budget, versus when we were okay with spending a bit more for something specific. Sweety is not your typical planner trying to oversell you or make your wedding more grand than you would like it, she answers questions honestly, gives you her real opinion, and provides you with a guaranteed list of trusted vendors with excellent prices. We had a wedding of about 100 people at Cape Horn Estate, and everything was flawless. We also had a Jewish wedding, and although the EventCracker team isn't Jewish, Sweety ensured that she met one on one with our Rabbi/officiant and was keenly aware of all of the traditions we wanted to include, and asked us questions on specific traditions to make sure nothing was left out or forgotten. I can't recommend Sweety and her team enough. I highly recommend the full planning versus anything else - she provides you with countless hours, and countless deals and advice on vendors and additional costs, that make the full planning well worth the investment.

My journey as an event planner began at the age of 18 when I worked as an Audio-Visual Coordinator for a Singaporean company in Thailand. This early experience taught me the importance of precision and creativity in event execution. Over the years together with my talented team, I had the privilege of planning and executing unforgettable events across the globe, from the serene beaches of Bali to the historic charm of Turkey, and countless destinations in the US but mainly in PNW. These experiences honed my skills and shaped my approach to creating exceptional, tailored celebrations. In 2018, after moving to the Pacific Northwest and getting married, I launched Eventcracker to bring my global expertise to local and regional weddings. Drawing on my extensive experience, I specialize in curating unique, culturally rich celebrations, including ethnic and mixed weddings. I have had the honor of planning Indian, Vietnamese, Thai, Hispanic, Persian, Korean, Jewish, and other multicultural weddings. So many of my guests have told me that my wedding was the most beautiful they’d ever been to and Sweety was the majority of the magic behind that and truly made my dream come true. I was a little *extra* and had a bit of a production of a wedding with lots of moving parts and very specific plans and ideas of what I wanted to happen and she made it all run seamlessly. She also handled some guest drama with grace and dignity and didn’t back down in making sure my wishes and our timeline and plan was respected. She really was wonderful and even after is still so sweet and kind and considerate. I truly feel special and anything but “just another client”; she’s made me feel like a friend who really cares about me! Not only that, she’s so receptive of feedback and is so supportive. She was very communicative and always quickly responded to texts and emails. She also kept us on budget while making sure my vision was brought to life in its entirety and no detail was overlooked. I really can’t recommend her as a wedding coordinator/planner enough. Because despite the outstanding level of service and care you receive, she is really quite affordable. so supportive of all our nontraditional ideas for our wedding. We had about 105 people at our event, and because we had eloped the year before due to Covid, we wanted to make some changes to the traditional wedding day timeline. Sweety not only embraced these changes (like walking ourselves down the aisle), but thought of brilliant ways to still include our family in our processional. During the many months of planning, Sweety offered to be on nearly every call we had with other vendors, from the DJ, photographer, venue, and florist. She has an incredible checklist and timeline spreadsheet that made planning much less overwhelming than it could have been, and she was just an excellent resource throughout this process. At one point about 3 weeks before the wedding, we realized we needed floral risers for our ceremony area. Before we could scramble to find an event rental company, Sweety had already sent us two recommendations that had exactly what we were looking for at an extremely reasonable price point. On the day of our event, Sweety and her assistant Alysia arrived early and had every detail we’d discussed placed and ready to go. They were also incredibly thorough with helping pack everything up at the end of the event, and had everything done in about half an hour. My mom and aunt were expecting to need the full hour for breakdown, but instead were home within an hour. We cannot recommend Sweety and her team enough!!

Wedding planning isn’t always easy, and planning a west coast wedding while living on the east coast makes it a little harder. We couldn’t have done it without Sweety. She’s kind, caring, attentive, and very responsive. We had several meetings prior to the wedding to make sure everything stayed on track and she was a constant reassurance that everything would come together smoothly. She even took care of hiring our bartenders and cleaner, all who did an amazing job at our wedding. Although Sweety couldn’t be present on our wedding day due to some circumstances out of her control, she prepared her assistant, Misty, so well and we never doubted that we would be taken care of on wedding day. All of the little details were executed perfectly by her team on wedding day, and we didn’t have to worry about anything. They also took care of the clean up at the end of the event so everyone could continue celebrating until the very end. You NEED Sweety and her team at your wedding. Her value is immeasurable, and I’d recommend her to anyone planning an important event.

She always responded within minutes of us reaching out. She guided us through the wedding planning process. When we needed vendor recommendations, she had them ready. When we felt unsure about the setup of the wedding, she shared her thoughts and experiences with prior weddings. On our wedding day, Sweety and her co-coordinator dedicated themselves to us, our guests, and our vendors. We felt less stressed during the event because we knew that they would manage anything that may come up. Our vendors have also mentioned that Sweety was a pleasure to work with. entire year and a half engagement, and she was my life saver throughout the entire process. We started looking for day-of coordinators, not convince we needed a full-blown wedding planner, but due to Sweety’s quite reasonable rates, we ended up booking her full planning package. Sweety helped us build the logistics plan for a completely off-the-beaten track wedding in a state park, in a barn that needed every single item from the tables and chairs upward. She met with us regularly and sometimes at the last minute upon our request, made sure we knew exactly what we should be checking off at each interval, and even hired a team of servers to help with catering, setup, and the gamut of other tasks we couldn’t have foreseen and ended up needing. Sweety deftly delt with last minute changes brought about by our venue. She had the most empathetic response to my tables vs. tablecloths décor meltdown (despite the fact that she has done dozens of weddings and obviously knew these details wouldn’t end up mattering), and always helped relieve any stressors along the way. She was proactive with all vendor communications and managed to pull off a wedding in a location with no service that many of the vendors had never been to. I could go on and on. Stop reading. Hire her!

my first conversation with her, I could tell Sweety was fully invested. We weren't just another gig she was trying to get, or another weekend she was trying to book. We were two people she wanted to get to know and wanted to make sure our day was the best day it could be -- and it was, thanks to Sweety. She calmed the chaos, negotiated with our sometimes difficult venue coordinator, and she even managed to tell my father what to do on the day of the wedding (something I'm not sure I've ever seen done before!) Her assistant, Misty was also an incredible help on our big day and we're very grateful to her as well. When it came to planning our wedding, Sweety helped immensely by giving us checklists of things we needed to accomplish before our next conversation with her. That method worked so well for us. Before we began our calls with Sweety, we were a bit lost on what direction we needed to go. Sweety's helpful spreadsheets, checklists, and timeline were all essential to the planning of our wedding. I could honestly write an essay about this woman. She is so damn good at her job. If you don't hire her, you're a fool. And no, I was not paid to say that!
