We used Event Dynamics and worked with Bobby to arrange the lighting/draping for our September 2024 wedding- they certainly lived up to their excellent reputations. Our space looked beautiful and it is clear they have the entire process down to a science. We absolutely recommend!
Event Dynamics did the lighting at our cocktail hour and we could not have been more pleased! The process was so easy and simple, so thanks to Bobby and his team!
I had a waterfront wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, which lists Event Dynamics as one of a handful of vendors that you must go through for lighting/decor. I can see why they're on this preset list!
My only complaint--which is super minor--is that their website seems a bit outdated. It loads very slowly when you first go to it, and I wish their 'Services' page was more descriptive in terms of what they offer rather than a couple generic sentences. For example, if they had a list of services/options then a description and photo of that service or option, that'd be helpful. Like I didn't know what gobo lighting or pinspot lighting or drapery swag was until I googled it, but it would have been nice to see it all in one place on their website. They do have the 'portfolio' page that gives you some ideas, but again, I don't know what the item is called that is being pictured, so I ultimately have to download the photo and send it to them to be like, "I want what's in this photo." Again, super minor complaint.
I almost also had a last-minute venue change when CBBC asked us if we wanted to 'upgrade' to a different space at no charge, and Bobby Dill and Event Dynamics worked quickly to turnaround a new proposal/pricing for me. We ultimately ended up not taking the upgraded (read: bigger) space and Bobby quickly reverted the pricing proposal back to what it originally was. Overall, a great vendor to work with!
We had a great experience working with Bobby at Event Dynamics for our wedding reception at the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House. Bobby was extremely professional and timely with communication and providing us several quotes leading up to our wedding. We could not have been happier with how the string lighting and mirror ball turned out, and our guests raved about the room’s aesthetic and appearance. Event Dynamics was extremely easy to work with and I would highly recommend using them!
We used Event Dynamics for our wedding drapes, dance floor, stage, and lighting. Overall, Bobby and Brandon were very communicative and helpful in bringing our vision to life. They were willing to get creative on what was built, and were highly professional in their communication. They delivered on time and did as promised. My only feedback was that they didn't feel like a team player the way other vendors did. This showed up when asking for changes and getting responses that suggested they thought the ideas were a waste. So overall, I think they are good at what they do, and price really fairly, but definitely not the same ra-ra team energy that you get from other vendors.
Event Dynamics was instantly recommended by our venue, Gramercy Mansion, to help us decorate our reception space. The space where we would eat dinner also acted as our ceremony space in the event of rain. Event Dynamics elevated the natural beauty of the atrium with draped fabric. They did an excellent job, and it is always great to hear from your venue that they are the best when it comes to what they do! Thank you, Event Dynamics!
We did a lighting "share" for our wedding at The Winslow Parker Metal Building- bistro lights were hung on Friday and left for our wedding on Saturday. It was very reasonably priced and the staff was professional and timely with communication. I highly recommend Event Dynamics for your rental needs
Bobby and his son helped up with the ordering and install of the draping for our venue. It really transformed the our boring, recreational space. The process was smooth and easy! Highly recommend.

Bobby and the Event Dynamics team made our light rental so simple. Bobby was extremely responsive to all of our questions, providing quotes, pictures, and floorplans right away. We ended up going with the whimsical mini lights over our dance floor and all of our guests were so impressed with how it ended up looking. With how complicated the decision process can get as you approach your event date, with so many details to consider, it was nice that our light rental required very little thought from from us.
Bobby and his team at Event Dynamics are awesome! Matt and I are what I guess you can call a "COVID couple" who ended up changing our wedding date three times and our venue. Bobby stuck with us through it all! He was easy to work with, responsive and reliable. The arch for our ceremony, as well as, pipe and drape were perfect and just as I had imagined.

Bobby was awesome to work with, giving recommendations on the best types of lighting for the look we wanted to achieve and what went well with our venue as well as providing sample pictures of what they've done there in the past. He was extremely responsive to emails and his prices were fantastic. The lighting was beautiful at our wedding and added the perfect touch. Highly recommend.

Talk about a team that makes dreams come true! I had mistakenly thought our venue always had draping up and didn’t find out that wasn’t the case until 2 weeks before our wedding date. I called Bobby in a panic begging him to fit us into this schedule. He was extremely understanding and spoke with a few other couples to see if he could fit us into this already full schedule. Magically, he was able to work something out and helped make our venue look like an absolute fairy tale.
Bobby and the team from Event Dynamics made our wedding day perfect and beautifully lit. He hung the perfect string lighting for our outdoor wedding and he went above and beyond to help my Dad hang photos from an oak tree at our venue and made sure it was perfect. He helped my Dad pull off a surprise that was the perfect touch to our day and we're so grateful!

Event Dynamics provided cafe lights and drapery for our wedding and did a great job. They were so easy to work with - it helps that they are very familiar with our venue, so we basically had to do nothing once we told them what we wanted! And it looked beautiful!
Our venue recommended Event Dynamics to us for lighting rentals and we are so glad they did. Bobby was fabulous to work with. From the moment I emailed him, he responded quickly to any any all questions I had. He provided wonderful recommendations and pictures of different rental options. We went with the uplighting and bistro lighting over our dance floor and it was picture perfect.
I wanted pipe and drape to cover areas of the museum (my reception space) that I was unable to know what would be on display before wedding day. I emailed Event Dynamics at the recommendation of the museum staff as they are very familiar with Frederick Douglass Isaac Myers Maritime Park. With only an email and follow up phone call, Bobby Dill with Event Dynamics was able to perfectly execute my vision for the space. I think it’s telling when people don’t even realize there is pipe and drape in the room because it looks like permanent decoration and that’s exactly what happened Wedding day - family who had previously seen the space didn’t realize until they were looking at pictures later that the walls had been draped with beautiful fabrics. Event Dynamics also provided cafe lighting to better set the mood!

We rented a dance floor from Event Dynamics and it worked out perfectly. They were familiar with our venue and had a relationship with them, which made the installation and pick-up seamless. I was little worried about using a white dance floor, but it was clean and looked great in our white, tented venue.
I had a great experience with Event Dynamics. They were super flexible with incorporating items that fit my budget. Bobby and his team executed the lightning perfectly. The room was an absolute wonderland.
My husband and I hired Event Dynamics to take care of our lighting and other decor needs during our August 2018 wedding at the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House in Baltimore, MD. We had full cafe lighting throughout the venue, four uplights and a ceremony arch adorned with hand-folded paper cranes I had made. We were absolutely thrilled with the entire process of working with Bobby and his team! We initially contacted Bobby via email and he provided us with a very comprehensive list of options and pricing for all the possible decor offerings he provided for our venue. He even told us about a special promotion/percentage off his company offers if we shared some of our lighting decor with a bride who was using the same venue as us later in the week. Not everyone would be so upfront about that -- what a transparent business! Throughout the entire process Bobby was very easy to work with and pleasant to chat with via phone/email. He never made me feel like my questions, particularly about my cranes, were annoying or too much. On the actual big day, Bobby and his team totally delivered. The space was beautifully lit and the archway was perfect! One of our uplights didn't end up working but Bobby graciously offered us a refund for that single light. Honestly, the lighting his team provided, and the arch with my cranes, made our wedding decor unique and memorable. Several of our guests commented on how lovely of a job they did. I would hire Bobby and his team again in a heartbeat!
It was an easy decision to hire Bobby Dill and Event Dynamics for our wedding at the Peabody Library. They were incredibly nice, helpful, and easy to work with. They made our venue look spectacular and delivered exactly what we hoped for. They were great to work with and we HIGHLY recommend them!
We used Event Dynamics to hang cafe lights in the stacks during our wedding at the Peabody Library. Bobby was flexible, responsive, and very organized. The lighting made the space truly glow. If you work with Event Dynamics you will not be disapointed!

Having my wedding in a very unadorned space (the JRVC reception room at the Visionary Art Museum) meant I really got to see what an expert lighting company can do to transform a space. Event Dynamics has everything you could want to create a beautiful world of your own for a special event, and staff who are extremely fast responders and will show you lots of options. I know I wrote approximately one thousand emails asking for different looks and making changes over the entire course of planning, and they always wrote back right away with pictures, revised estimates, and seasoned advice that helped me figure out just what I needed. Really a pleasure to work with and a talented team.

Fantastic work. Event Dynamics provided our chuppah and string lighting for our Peabody Library wedding and it felt as if we were dancing beneath stars. Bobby was communicative, professional, and worked with us to ensure all our needs were met within a fair budget. Event Dynamics' touches took the venue from something beautiful to truly magical.
We got married at the George Peabody Library in Baltimore and booked Event Dynamics for the cafe lights (they string them across the stacks in the library - absolutely beautiful) as well as for a curtain backdrop for the ceremony. Bobby was always very quick to respond to my emails and he was very helpful and understanding. The week before the wedding I started having second thoughts about certain aspects of the floor plan that would have required us to not use the curtain backdrop. Bobby was very patient with me and was willing to make any changes I wanted. He also offered to provide any assistance or feedback that would help alleviate any concerns/stress. Overall a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend.
I loved working with Bobby! The ease of communication, the reasonable prices and the overall quality of what we walked into the night of the wedding was unbelievably wonderful. We even had to add a microphone last minute because it totally slipped my mind for the officiant and instead of trying to make a buck off of us, Bobby knew we had a DJ and suggested contacting the DJ who would probably give us a better price. In New York (were we live) that would have NEVER happened. It was such a breath of fresh air and such an honest business move - I knew then we picked the right vendor! Everything was great, thank you so much! OH! Also, if you're getting married at the Peabody Library, I wouldn't bother looking for anyone to do lighting other than Event Dynamics, no one knows the place better than Bobby :)

We used Event Dynamics and they were laid back and easy to work with. They responded quickly to all questions and took a lot of pressure off of us. The day of look was amazing, we loved everything that they did. It was beautiful and worth it!
Really enjoyed working with Bobby Dill. Spent tons of time creating and revising our lighting plan, always quick to respond, very helpful, and never pushy. The lighting and stage were gorgeous!
My husband and I had been working with another vendor to do draping for our wedding who had been TERRIBLE about getting back to us, and at the last minute we went a different direction and kind of fell into Event Dynamics.
Even though we were only two months out from our wedding, Bobby was amazing to work with, and even helped with the cost of everything we wanted by pulling double duty with the wedding the night before - we paid for something they were able to use - they paid for something we were able to use.
When I came down to start getting ready the morning of the wedding, I noticed that our drape to close off the ceremony space (We were in the Governor Calvert House in Annapolis) was missing pieces and was backwards. My husband called Bobby right away, and he was there by early afternoon to help fix everything. We came across another issue or two while trying to fix the first problem, and Bobby was AMAZING in walking us through all the options - even explaining it twice since my husband and I didn't want to see each other before the wedding.
Once everything was said and done, we received SO many compliments on the beautiful draping, and I truly hope that more people use Bobby - he was so accommodating and so quick to fix the mistake -- very comforting to find that in a vendor!
Bobby from Event Dynamics was great. I wanted the hanging lanterns in different colors hanging from a large tree, the reception tent, and in the pavillion for the dancing. The lights looked amazing and added a great feel to our wedding. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but I would definitely pay that again for the effect it gave at the wedding. Bobby had several different colors of the lanterns to choose from so you will be able to find a match to what you are looking for. I never asked for anything else but I would highly recommend Event Dynamics for anyone who needs lighting. Amazing!
We had our wedding on a boat and our reception was at a local restaurant outdoors in the evening starting at 8:00 p.m. Bobby and Brandon from Event Dynamics in Pasadena, MD hung Chinese lanterns over the tables, did some colored uplighting against the lattice fence that had lots of plants against it and hung a beautiful shimmery fabric over the entrance to the outside deck. It was amazing how the lanterns gave off just enough light at night so everyone could see their food, yet it created a memorable atmosphere for dancing and partying the night away. I'm so glad we used them because they went above and beyond to make my reception special. You know what you are getting is top quality from Event Dynamics. They are honest and hard working.
