Julie was so friendly, helpful, and easy to collaborate with throughout the planning process. She walked the venue with us, helped refine the layout, answered all of our questions ...
(even during a snowstorm), and made the design process feel fun instead of overwhelming. It was also a huge plus that Event Essentials was already familiar with MMoCA and had done previous weddings there.
Delivery was seamless the day before, and everything was picked up the following Monday without us having to think twice about it. Everyone we interacted with at EE was professional and great to work with.
We would absolutely recommend Event Essentials to anyone planning an event in Madison.
Our experience with Event Essentials was ideal, we were able to update our selections easily, they were very responsive, and they made pick up and drop off so easy.
Event Essentials provided us with silverware and string lights. While both turned out very nicely, there were many fees associated with them that felt a bit excessive. For instance...
, they took $65 from our deposit because 3 out of 560 pieces of silverware weren't returned (neither the caterer, nor venue had them, we checked). The pricing made it apparent that there aren't a lot of options for event rentals in the Madison area.
Ali and her team at Event Essentials are wonderful! They worked closely with us to determine the best rentals for our tented backyard wedding. They were equally as patient when we ...
went back and forth on our tent choice 52 times! They provided our tent, flooring, tables, chairs, linens, and lighting. The set up and tear down crew were also a delight. In the end and despite a massive thunderstorm that rolled through at the end of the night, they helped bring our vision to life with a gorgeous tented reception. It didn't budge at all despite the wind and rain! We were sad to see the tent go! Highly recommend.
They were great to work with and responded very quickly. They were very flexible and have a large inventory to choose from.

matter how chaotic and overwhelmed we felt, Jackie was there with us through every step of the way.
Over hundreds of back-and-forth emails, phone calls and zoom-calls, Jackie's patience and kindness helped us problem-solve and create the event that we always dreamed of. Thank you for making our wedding celebrations possible.
They have everything you could think of! Service was amazing, even with our constant changes and additions of equipment up to the day of the wedding!
Event Essentials was everything you could ever ask for from a design vendor and then a whole lot more. Shae didn’t only help us pick out all our table settings and decorations, she...
also worked with us to develop our day-of timeline, fully designed the layout for our ceremony and reception, and was incredibly thoughtful and friendly throughout the process. Every single detail of our design looked absolutely flawless (from the place settings to the tables/chairs to the name card layout). None of that would have been possible without Shae and Event Essentials. Thank you so much!!
