If I could give 100000 stars I would!!! Krista was hands down the absolute best coordinator I could have ever asked for. Not only is she incredibly sweet, she is also very professional and extremely good at her job. My husband and I had to postpone our wedding twice because of covid and Krista helped us navigate that process and made everything so much easier. She took the lead communicating with vendors, set up meetings with the venue, answered my million questions, and so much more. Krista made my life easier and put me at ease whenever I was stressed about random wedding details. She was always one step ahead and anticipated every need. I cannot stress enough how amazing it was working with Krista. Look no further if you need a coordinator! She really is the best!
This review is long overdue from our daughter’s wedding in 2017. Krista Borchard was our saving grace in planning. She guided us through vendor choices in a location we were unfamiliar with and far away from our home. We were given a range of prices and styles when she set up vendor appointments for us. She was very in tune with the desires of the bride and groom. She also worked well with the stressed parents being very prepared for our meetings and prompt with her communications. She and her staff far exceeded our expectations on the day of the wedding. It all ran so smoothly and allowed us to relax and just enjoy. They attended to everything, helped the families in multiple ways, gently guided the bride and groom, and juggled the vendors. Krista helped make our daughter’s wedding day spectacular and we are very grateful.
The amazing Krista Borchard served as our coordinator on the day of my daughter's wedding. Well in advance of the event, she gathered the pertinent information on every single partner, created spreadsheets, stayed in contact with all the various vendors and partners, and kept us all in the loop. She handled our rehearsal like the pro that she is. On the day of the noon wedding, she arrived smiling and bright-eyed at the hotel where hair and make-up were taking place at 6:30 a.m., and kept everybody on time and out the door to the venue for our 9:00 a.m. arrival. She shuttled between the bride's room and the groom's, keeping everybody hydrated and fed and photographed and calm. As the MOB, I had packed an emergency kit with all the stuff the wedding books suggest; Krista had a kit equipped with even more. She carries a little shoulder pack and you wouldn't believe what she could produce from it! She managed all of the personal items we brought to the venue, all the payment envelopes for the various vendors who had not been paid in advance, everything we brought into the bride's room, etc. She had wonderful suggestions for various elements of the reception and send-off, which resulted in an even more special experience for the bride and groom, as well as incredible photos. She was constantly behind the scenes making sure everything was going smoothly, and we were guests at our own party. When it was over, she made certain that every personal item we brought in was returned to us. She even took the top tier of the wedding cake home, froze it, and delivered it a month later when I had made room in the freezer for it. Krista is gracious, professional, poised, and an absolute joy to work with. I wish there were more stars to award her. I can't imagine a future event without her golden touch.
This review is LOOONNNGG overdue (we got married November 2016). Krista was my day of wedding coordinator, but that is really poor description, because her help started WAY before the day of the wedding. I am incredibly organized and very particular, and she exceeded my expectations. Everything went smoothly, and if anything did go wrong, I don't know about it! It was a perfect day!!! Even if you are organized and on top of all of your vendors, it is so helpful to have someone who is not a close friend or family member (they should be enjoying the day too) ensuring that every detail you planned is executed to perfection. If you need a person like this or need someone to plan your whole wedding and keep you on budget hire Event Identity. You will NOT regret it and it might be the best thing you do for your wedding and mental health.
I have been in quite a few weddings. Some had wedding planners or coordinators, others used the coordinator at the venue, and others still had no coordinator. Keep in mind that the venue coordinator is there for the venue, not for you. It made all the difference to have someone that was there to help ME and organize all of the outside vendors on the day of.
Krista also planned our honeymoon, which was perfect. From the moment we left our honeymoon suite, we didn't have a thing to worry about because all of our transportation, accommodations, etc. were handled! The resort she found for us was perfect and we cannot wait to go back!
Krista and her team did such a great job at our wedding! We opted for day of coordination which fit our needs. Everything was perfect and we couldn't have asked for anything better!
When deciding upon my wedding vendors, Krista with Event Identity was an easy choice for me. My sister had used her as a coordinator a couple years ago, and I saw first hand how Krista perfectly orchestrates her role. Not only is Krista organized, experienced and detail orientated which is crucial for her job but she is extremely friendly, kind and emphatic. Krista made sure that both the bride and groom’s needs were met on the wedding day and created an almost stress free day for us. Several of the attendees at my wedding, also commented how pleasant Krista was and were impressed my her work. I highly recommend Event Identity for anyone looking for a coordinator.
Krista was impeccable. She was very communicative and understanding of our needs, while also serving as a great resource for suggestions and ideas. What's even more impressive is that she managed to pull everything together for our wedding remotely.

Krista with Event Identity was amazing! She partnered with us as our "day of wedding coordinator", and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made. Every bride and groom needs a Krista at their wedding. She was full of great ideas and suggestions, gave us wonderful advice, made us aware of things that could come up on wedding day so we are fully prepared. Not only was she good at her job, she's a total sweet heart. She's genuine, caring, hand working, positive, and always has a smile on her face.
Knowing we had Event Identity by our side who would come in a few weeks before the wedding to fully take on the logistics, planning, vendor management, behind the scenes activities, and the unknowns that come up at the wedding... put us at ease. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy the day - STRESS FREE! Every bride and groom deserves that.

Krista and her team are absolutely AMAZING!!!! I cannot fully express how much of a blessing she is and a calming presence. From the start, her organization skills are top notched thorough a Google Drive with great tips and handouts that were so easy to follow and edit. This was vitally important because I was living in St. Louis at the time, my fiancé lived in Dallas and had very little resources in Houston.
She was ALWAYS reachable via phone, text or email. She checked and DOUBLE checked all of the contracts with my vendors (who had all worked with her before). The timeline, layout, photo list, EVERYTHING was thought out and reviewed; so much so that on the day of the wedding, she never had to call me or really anyone else with any concerns.
She even had the harder task of executing a wedding of two different cultures (Vietnamese and Caucasian), language barriers and traditions...oh did I mention that Tropical Storm Cindi also threatened to ruin the wedding? She honestly told me: If we need to change the ceremony location (of course it was outdoors), I can do it in as little as ten minutes before it starts, but I will do everything I can to keep your vision.
She was ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS!!! Both sides have told me that our wedding was hands down the most fun they have ever attended.
Her bubbly personality, professionalism and her expertise in the field makes her worth it, one hundred fold.
Hiring Event Identity was one of the best decisions we could have made during our wedding planning process. From the beginning, Krista was open and helpful. However, what I appreciated about her most was her honesty and attention to detail. We had two main reasons for hiring a coordinator: first, my now husband and I were for the most part, planning our wedding on our own, with both of our families living far from the area. We were very green and naive to wedding planning industry. Krista was spot on about everything, even when we were hoping that she would be wrong about certain things like the budget. It just goes to show you how much she knows about the Houston wedding market! She also knew what moments were really going to matter to us, and made suggestions that we would not have even though of. The second reason we hired her was that we wanted our special day to be enjoyable and blissful, not just for us but for our parents and all of our traveling guests. I loved that on a day that could be very stressful, we did not have to worry about anything, nor did our parents! They enjoyed the day right along side us. Money can't put a price tag on that! We are so grateful that Event Identity was a part of our wedding celebration!
Event Identity sets the standard for professional wedding services. We had several meetings with Krista beforehand to discuss each detail of our wedding based on a questionnaire that she uses to make sure everything is covered. These meetings were professionally conducted, and you could always count on her to return your emails and phonecalls. Believe me, that's not always the case with other wedding vendors. Having her help to organize the flow of events took a lot of pressure off of my parents and I. With Krista as as part of our wedding team, my mom and I were really able to savor the moment without having to worry about coordinating every small thing. She constantly checked in with my husband and I and the rest of the family to ensure things were running smoothly, and to see if there was anything she could help with. Altogether, you can fully count on Krista to deliver excellent wedding coordination services, and make your wedding day much much less stressful. Thank you so very much, Krista, for all that you did for us.

Krista is amazing! We are so happy that we chose her to coordinate our wedding. She provided great advice and vendor recommendations. She and her assistant were amazing on the wedding day and we knew we didn't have to worry about anything except enjoying ourselves with our guests. I can't imagine our wedding day without her assistance!
Event Identity and Krista were the best decision i made for my wedding! She was helpful on all aspects of planning the wedding, and had advice when I needed it. It was such a help having her coordinate details with all of my vendors, and making sure everyone was on the same page. The day of coordination was exactly what I had hoped for. I had nothing to worry about on my special day, and more importantly, she kept my mom from worrying about all the small details as well! She thought through all the small details, such as making sure we had food & drinks throughout the reception, and showing us our reception room before everyone entered the room. That was such a special moment for me and my husband. Everything went so smoothly, and I really couldnt have asked for a better day!
Krista is awesome at what she does! We are so glad we found Krista and chose her to be our day of coordinator. Out of all the coordinators I interviewed, she was the most personable and I could tell she actually cared about her clients. Throughout the whole planning process she was extremely helpful and always ensured we were getting things in on time (i.e. contracts, meetings with vendors). A lot of people from my bridal party and wedding guests told me later that Krista and her team were awesome and so on top of things the day of! I would have to agree since we didn't notice anything wrong (and if there were, we weren't aware). We are truly grateful to have had Krista be our day of coordinator since it really alleviated a lot of the stress and anxiety that led up to the day as well as the day of!
Another added bonus that I must talk about is that she also offers honeymoon planning for her clients!! We had a complicated honeymoon itinerary and even though I love planning trips, I didn't feel like dealing with something else on my plate so we took Krista up on the offer and let her plan our honeymoon. We worked together (Krista did most of the hard work!) to come up with our complicated itinerary. My husband and I had no idea how amazing it would be until we actually left for the trip. It was beyond incredible and totally blew our expectations out of the water. I highly recommend brides and grooms who don't want to plan a honeymoon (in addition to planning a wedding) to take advantage of this benefit if you hire Krista and her team!
Our wedding would not have been the perfect day it was if we hadn't had Krista as our planner. She was phenomenal - a total rock throughout the entire process. She is completely professional and also very personable - it's the best of both worlds working with Krista.
Krista was attentive throughout the entire process. We never felt like we were one of many weddings, we always felt that our event was important to her. She never pressured us into her vision of a wedding - she worked with us to identify what we wanted our event to look and feel like and made sure that her recommendations for partners were in line with our vision. She did an excellent job suggesting partners for us and all of them turned out to be a perfect selection for our event.
As someone who likes to have control of events like this, I had such faith in Krista's abilities and expertise that I was able to relax, particularly the week before the wedding when I needed that the most, knowing that Krista was there to handle everything - both big and small. We even did a little extra work with her and contracted with her to put together our Welcome boxes for our out of town guests. The boxes were AMAZING and our guests had some many compliments about them.

When my husband and I got engaged he was about to leave for a full month due to work. I had just moved, started a new job, got engaged, and set a wedding date in 6 months. I was getting extremely stressed just thinking about all the work and doing it alone. A friend had used Krista herself and highly recommended her. My husband wasn't keen on getting a planner, but after the first FaceTime with Krista he was wholeheartedly onboard. The whole expierence from start to finish was great! The biggest thing I wanted was for the wedding day to be stress free and not worry about a thing! And I got it! Krista and her assistant made it the best day of my life. I didn't have to worry about anything but walking down that aisle to my love.
I live out of town from where I got married. She made all the planning and appointments to fit my schedule exactly. I wouldn't change a thing about the whole process. Krista is awesome and I highly recommend Event Identity!
Our big day wouldn't have gone as smooth and seamless for us if we didn't have Krista! She took care of some many little things to ensure that we didn't have to worry about a thing and could enjoy our big day. Krista is excellent! She has the perfect personality to be a wedding planner and I highly recommend her. She was so helpful throughout the entire process and gave my fiancé and me excellent advice. I had to do a lot of convincing to get a wedding coordinator. My family wanted to coordinate the day of but I wanted them to enjoy all our hard work. I found Event Identity at the Bridal Extravaganza! After interviewing other coordinators and seeing what they offer I knew Event Identity was perfect for me. First off, they are the most affordable! I didn't have to break the bank! Second, one of the only providers that has an extensive menu of service as well as customizable. Third, Krista was very professional but relatable which made asking her for last minute advice so easy. The day of went so smoothly and I know it was because of Krista and her team. She did everything behind the scenes before the event and during. You never knew she was there! Everyone was very pleased with Event Identity and if I could go back in time I would have urged my family to use her partial planning services.
I can't even begin to describe how amazing Krista was as a wedding planner. On the advice of a newly married friend, the first vendor I contacted was Event Identity- and it was great advice! I can't stress how important it is to have an expert wedding planner on your side for your wedding! A good friend of mine who got married the same weekend opted to not have a wedding planner. When we compared our experiences, I saw that on the day of the wedding having a professional that is on your side can help iron out the stress and confusion of having friends or family members manage the coordination of the wedding. For brides that are on the fence about a
wedding planner, I highly recommend Krista - it's an investment you won't regret! And trust me, having a trusted person will reduce your stress and allow you to truly enjoy the important things on your wedding day!
By having Event Identity involved early in the process, planning the wedding went very smoothly.
Since I wanted a more simple wedding, I spearheaded contacting vendors. But as a consultant, Krista was there every step of the way - giving me advice based on her experiences in the most professional manner. In many cases, she helped me past potential "potholes" when it came to managing vendors, contracts, and managing schedules. She brought up many things that would have easily fallen through the cracks. Even when I was running late on key tasks, she was there to keep me on track and ready to go. It felt great to have a wedding "fairy godmother" that was there every step of the way. Her calm professional manner helped even in the most stressful moments, and she ensured that the groom got his say too - and that's always a plus!
Where do I start.... well I honestly wouldn't have started hitting the ground running if it wasn't for Krista/EI.
I knew from the get-go that I needed help. Not only because I had a 5 month time frame to plan the wedding, but work and I was in the midst of moving as well.
I initially made the mistake of going with someone else because of availability/price, but let's just say learned that lesson the hard way. Thankfully, Krista took me back... and helped me coordinate the perfect wedding.
We had a couple of meetings before the wedding and Krista was so good about asking questions and getting us to think about things that we weren't even aware were things to be worried about.
I'm sure she had a full plate at all times, but I always felt like I was the only bride she was dealing with. She was responsive and thorough with everything, especially her e-mails. At times it was like homework, but that just shows you how prepared we were!
The week of the wedding went without a hitch. The rehearsal was so productive, and my bridal party were so impressed at how organized it was. We got done in an hour or so, and Krista made these super neat contact/time sheets for everyone so they knew who to call for what and who has to be where at what time. I mean, what else could a bride ask for?
My actual wedding day, like all my experiences with Krista went flawlessly. At least, that's what I felt like. At no point did I feel like I needed to pay attention to anything because I knew it was being handled.
Afterwards, I had friends and family who commented on how good Krista was, and all of the vendors (partners) I used had a great experience working with Krista. She made sure I was good to go on them all, and I didn't have to do anything after booking them.
Overall- the most valuable partner (beside my husband LOL) that I had during the wedding. Worth every penny, and totally affordable.

My (now) wife and I couldn’t wait to get married, but the thought of planning a wedding was, while very exciting, also truly terrifying at the same time. After meeting with Krista, we both knew that we couldn’t do without her! And we quickly knew that we had made the right choice. Soon after our initial meeting, she had broken out our budget for us, shortlisted vendors based on what we could afford, and had set up meetings with them for us. It was too easy! And, more often than not, Krista had already briefed them a little on what we wanted, so this made the meetings go even more smoothly. Even when we weren’t quite sure of what we wanted, or couldn’t put our thoughts into words, Krista always seemed to know exactly what we were trying to express, and always had excellent suggestions. She kept us very organized, and always reminded us about important deadlines. On the day itself, she handled everything, so we could truly enjoy our special day without worrying about any hiccups (of which there were none, or maybe there were, and Krista made it appear like they never happened). Everything turned out better than in our wildest dreams, and none of it would’ve been possible without Krista’s vision, professionalism, organization, and industry knowledge. Oh, and there’s also the part where Krista booked us the most incredible honeymoon! When we got to the resort and walked into our suite, we emailed her immediately to tell her that she had well and truly outdone herself! She even took care of making reservations for us at all the best restaurants. Just writing about the whole experience brings back all the wonderful memories and emotions! We'll forever be grateful to her for planning the most amazing 10 days of our lives. I cannot recommend Krista enough to any couple considering hiring a wedding planner. You will not find anyone better.
This was the hardest wedding vendor review for me to write, because I’ve found it so hard to put into words how lucky I was to have Krista as my wedding planner. I had almost given up on hiring a wedding planner. They were either wayy too expensive, or didn’t want/have the same vision for my wedding that I did. Five minutes into my first Facetime meeting with Krista- I knew she was the perfect fit. Beyond organized, calming, professional, and full of perfect advice, Krista helped turn my wedding dreams into a reality. She helped me select all of my wonderful vendors, keep on top of various deadlines, payment dates, as well as stay on budget. When I couldn’t seem to make a decision on something, or couldn’t put my vision into words, she seemed to know just what to day or do. On the wedding day, everyone kept commenting how calm I was, and how I’d never had a single “bride-zilla” moment through the entire planning process. I attribute my calmness entirely to Krista. I literally had ZERO STRESS and feel like I was able to fully enjoy the planning process (as well as the wedding day) because I knew she had everything handled. I don’t think a single thing went wrong on my wedding day- and if it did, Krista handled it and I never found out about it. To me (and based on feedback- to my guests/family as well) my wedding day really was perfect. She even organized our honeymoon for us- and it was literally the best vacation we’ve ever been on. She made sure we had the best accommodations at the resort, arranged for champagne to be waiting in our suite upon arrival, alerted us to airline changes, and was the first person to welcome us back home. I could go on and on with praise for Krista and her team- I would give her more than 5 stars if it was an option, and would recommend her to anyone. Having her as my wedding planner was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Krista and her team ensured that our wedding day was flawless! We did not have to worry about a thing - she even brought us our food, drinks, and moved our sparkler exit up 15 minutes earlier because she checked the weather and it was scheduled to rain. She was very responsive to all of my calls emails, and even continues to check up on us after our wedding. I highly recommend Krista and her team at Event Identity!
Really . . . where do I begin? My husband and I were together for 11 years before we finally tied the knot. Because of that, I had a fairly clear idea of what I wanted for my wedding and what I needed to do to ensure everything was successful. From the first moment I met with Krista for our initial consultation to the last follow up after our wedding, it was like I was talking to a friend. It was just so . . . comfortable. I never doubted her or her ability to execute and make things happen. That says a lot in itself considering my Type A personality. :D
She's incredibly confident and very well-organized. Even though we hired her as our "day of" coordinator, she was heavily involved months in advance and never hesitated to help before our contracted time. She became the main contact about a month or so before our wedding, and any question or issue always went through her. Surprisingly, she asked about things I did not even think of. Thank goodness, we had her. She handled everything flawlessly and was very responsive. Let's be real. Having someone who is responsible AND responsive can be hard to find in any service, but these were things I never questioned of Krista.
The day before the wedding, she provided rehearsal dinner kits with phone numbers and wedding day timelines. When she handed this out, my husband whispered in my ear, "Gosh, Krista is amazing. She really has thought of everything." When the wedding party received their kits, they came up to us to tell us how fluid the rehearsal was and how cool the kits were.
On the day of the wedding, every concern I had was easily relieved once I communicated with her. She made sure all of the vendors showed up on time and kept us on schedule from taking pictures to first look to ceremony to dances to send off. The only thing we had to think about was to have fun and take in the evening. THAT is how it should be.
When my husband and I talk about the different vendors from our wedding, he always says, "Out of every service we hired, Krista was hands down the best decision we made." We have nothing but wonderful thoughts of Event Identity. We would highly recommend her to anybody needing a planner / coordinator for any event.
Months after our wedding, she still brightens up our day with things as simple as birthday cards. Seriously, someone who does that for her clients is a caring businesswoman, but someone who does that for her clients months AFTER the event is just a good person.
We hired Krista for our big day because my fiance (now wife) wanted peace of mind and to "not worry about a single thing except the mimosa in my hand." I was definitely the annoying "budget boy" and asked my fiance if it was really necessary to hire someone to simply follow a timeline? Of course, she began listing off all the things the coordinator would be responsible for but I was still skeptical. After meeting with Krista my mindset began to change. She talked us through the process, explained her responsibilities, and of course give us valuable advice.
After the wedding I realized how incredible of a job she had done. The whole day went smoothly, and any issues that did arise were dealt with quickly and effectively. Did I mention that my wife and I had no idea that anything had happened until AFTER our honeymoon? Our parents told us of a few problems that had come up, and Krista had handled them like a champ!
In short, we stayed within budget, my wife was able to enjoy the day without worrying about putting out fires, and we created the most fantastic memories of our lives thus far. Thank you so much Krista!

Prior to meeting Krista, we already had our venue, band, and photographer selected so we knew we didn't need a full planner however we were told by all our newly married friends that we would want to get a "day of" planner. My husband and I initially met Krista at a Houston Wedding Expo and after talking to her for a few minutes we immediately knew that we wanted to work with her. She was upbeat, professional, and optimistic and seemed to really understand our vision.
During the wedding planning process my husband and I were living in Dallas while trying to plan our wedding in Houston. Although we had a lot of our vendors already selected, I still would email Krista and ask for her opinion about possible florists, hair/makeup artists, etc and even though we hired her for day-of services she still would always respond to my emails with her opinions and suggestions.
A few weeks leading up to our wedding, Krista reached out to all our vendors and had all communications go through her. By the time I would see an email in my inbox from a vendor, I would see that Krista had already replied to them and taken care of everything.
Krista was so organized and during our ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding she was able to keep everyone focused. I was so impressed with the rehearsal kits she created and passed out to the wedding party and all the post it notes she had set up so everyone would know where to stand and sit.
The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Krista and her team arrived right when she said she would. She was calm and very professional. I woke up the day of our wedding feeling 100% ready with zero stress and I completely attribute that to Krista. The set up of the ceremony room, cocktail hour and reception exceeded my expectations. Krista had a smile every time I saw which kept me very calm.
I cannot even imagine our wedding without the assistance of Krista and the Event Identity team and I would recommend her to anyone needing full service or day of planning. She is extremely patient, professional and all around excited for the couple she’s working with. Thank you for making our day so perfect and magical!
As a budget conscious groom I was apprehensive of spending additional money for a wedding planner. Why couldn't I just communicate with each vendor and make sure their notes were up to date?
Krista and Ashley with Event Identity did an outstanding job. It is hard to imagine our big day going off as smoothly without their hard work and diligent planning. They made sure every detail was accounted for, allowing us to relax (relatively speaking).
Krista communicated with vendors insuring for proper timing and smooth transitions throughout the night, sent timelines with contact information to all bridal party and out of town guests, brought gifts to our room at the end of the night, and everything in between.
As the groom to a diy bride I was confident we had thought of every detail. I was wrong. Everything Krista did throughout the process made us more and more grateful we selected her to plan our big day.

Like I said, I'm the groom so I did not have much involvement in this. But what I do know is that my (then) fiancé's life got soooooo much easier/happier when Krista got involved. My (now) wife tells everyone about how awesome Krista is. Our wedding day had ZERO issues. So either it was a perfect day or Krista handled it like a boss! The week after the wedding I kept coming across things/pictures/anecdotes done by Krista, and kept saying, "She did THAT too!?" Top notch work.
It has taken me some time to write this review because every time I think about doing it, I realize that I have more to write than time allots. However, I have the time now and here goes: From the beginning when I was looking around for wedding planners I had interviewed a few people but no one really seemed to capture my interest. I decided to set up a Skype conference with Krista and Event Identity after finding her through the internet, 5 minutes into the conversation I knew she was the one. She was professional, prompt and clear on the services she provided. She understood that with me being a professional athlete going in and out of the state and country that she would have her work cut out for her, but she was more than willing to take on the task. Once we started working together, I found myself saying "I have no idea where I would be without Krista" lol...every meeting we had included her laying out all of the task at hand that needed to be handled (some for me and some for her), she was always asking my opinion on things which Im sure was not easy for her because I didn't really know what I wanted and I had only been to 2 weddings in my lifetime. Anytime I thought I had a daunting task ahead of me, she already had it handled. From The budget layout, to vendor lists to cake tasting appointments, it was organized and already set up for me! By the time the wedding day came around I had NO STRESS because Krista had made everything so easy up until that point, I had no reason to believe that it would be any different on the wedding day. I had a mishap with a button on my dress, Krista handled it...A bouquet was missing, Krista handled it...Some guest showed up later than they should have, Krista handled it! So, basically my wedding day was PERFECT. And even after the wedding was over, she made sure that my husband and I were taken care of, off to the airport on time for the honeymoon and all necessary paperwork for when we got back was in a safe place. I mean there is so much more that I could talk about in this post but I will probably run out of space. Krista and Event Identity were absolutely AMAZING and I would recommend her to anyone! She not only became my wedding planner but she also became a great friend!
Our wedding coordinator, Krista, definitely gets the MVP of our wedding! At our first meeting, I knew we had made the right decision in choosing Krista. We chose the day-of coordination services and we met early to discuss details of the day. She thought of things I never would have thought of. Her attention to detail and organization was awesome. She followed up promptly to emails and calls. She was also persistent and patient as we made decisions. Krista was available to attend an additional meeting at our venue when we asked without much advanced notice. When the wedding day arrived, it was so nice to sit back and watch everything unfold and truly be able to enjoy the day! Thank you event identity and Krista.
After meeting Krista, we immediately decided to hire her as our wedding planner. And it was truly the best decision we made! She was
super organized and on top of everything throughout the entire planning process. She definitely took great care of us the entire way.
She has great connections with some of the best wedding vendors in Houston! Our DJ, florist, venue, and cake vendors were perfect and exactly what we wanted. And they were all recommended to us by Krista and had a great relationship with her.
But if I'm being honest, there were times when I did feel like she wasn't very accommodating of everything we wanted. She did keep us on a very tight leash in regards to our budget. Which, in the end, was a great thing and definitely something we were grateful for. But I do wish she would've come from more of a "place of yes" during the whole planning process. Because I did feel like my ideas and wants were shut down at times. And I felt a little bit bossed around.
I also wish that she would've been more present with me on the wedding day. She had her assistant with me, but I had never met her prior and would've felt more comfortable with Krista there. Especially when little problems and dramas started to occur.
But I will say that Krista was AMAZING when it came to planning our honeymoon!!! We truly had the most amazing honeymoon! We still dream about it every day! And Krista planned the whole entire trip. We'll forever be grateful to her for planning our dream honeymoon and one of the most amazing weeks of our lives!
We also had some issues after the wedding with our wedding venue and Krista handled the WHOLE thing for us! She totally took care of us and worked everything out. Which we're also INCREDIBLY grateful for! She was so professional and on top of things, even after the wedding was over and always had our best interest at heart.
In the end, hiring Krista was the best decision we made during our planning process! She truly knows what she's doing and will have your back 110% She truly cared about us and we're so grateful for all of her help. I highly recommend her and will recommend her to all of my engaged friends in the Houston area! Her services were also very reasonably priced and worth every penny!
I would highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend Krista and the Event Identity team to anyone! She has an unbelievable talent as a wedding coordinator and knows how to make a bride (and groom) feel at ease! ;)
From our very first meeting to the day of the wedding, Krista was always willing to accommodate what we as a couple wanted. She is willing to accommodate whatever you need and we found her prices extremely reasonable! Krista also never pushed anything on us, but kindly advised. I have to admit, my Type A personality had me wanting to go over details and make sure "everything was just right", but Krista ALWAYS put me at ease and was very thorough in answering my questions. She brought a sense of comfort and humor to the wedding planning process. :)
Krista is a VERY sweet, kind-hearted and organized lady. There were some not so traditional aspects of our wedding due to some sad family circumstances, but Krista was supportive in our decision(s) and always mindful of what we wanted moving forward. She is willing to do whatever it takes for her clients. She was definitely helpful in keeping my solo to my groom a surprise!!
Oh, and the reception! I was nervous about everything being in it's place and looking exactly as I wanted and it was more than I expected! I had sent pictures to her(as she advised) to let her know how I'd like things to be arranged, and it was perfect! I had many DIY projects, and they were displayed beautifully! And, the vendors that Krista recommended also go above and beyond; the flowers and linens were superb!!! Having her go over every little detail helped direct us at our reception also. As I sat and ate at our table and took everything in, I was overwhelmed with happiness!
Words CANNOT express the gratitude and love I feel for Krista and her crew. She is worthy of so many accolades! If you are a bride looking for a coordinator, stop now and contact Krista! I wish her many, MANY more successful weddings and a blessed future!
Wow, where do I even begin? If I could give Krista & Event Identity a million stars, I would. There are not enough words to adequately describe how amazing Krista is and what a great job she did as our wedding planner!
Right after we got engaged, we started meeting with potential wedding planners. But as soon as we met Krista, we knew that we had to have her. She is so warm, friendly, bubbly, and immediately makes you feel at ease. I knew that our wedding would be in good hands.
Throughout the months of planning, we never felt nervous or stressed, and that is all thanks to Krista. She answered all our questions, asked questions that we never would have thought to ask, gave excellent recommendations, and overall, just knew our wedding better than we did! Her level of dedication and care made us feel like we were her only clients, which is such an amazing feat because I know we definitely were not.
She literally helped us with everything, from venue research to choosing our vendors to planning our honeymoon and everything in between. Without her guidance and expertise, our wedding day would not have been the huge success that it was.
My favorite and most appreciated thing about working with Krista was seeing her genuine joy, excitement, and desire to serve her clients. She just has such a big heart for people and she truly went above & beyond anything we could have expected. No task was too big for her to handle.
And of course, the wedding day was absolutely perfect. If there were any issues during that day, we never knew about it. Krista took care of everything flawlessly. Everyone she encountered that day (guests, bridesmaids, house party, parents) had nothing but wonderful words to say about her. At the end of the night, she sent us home with various items, including a card/gift that she had wrapped in our wedding colors! It's the little thoughtful details like this that truly set her apart.
As if all that weren't enough, she kept taking care of us even after the wedding! She delivered the top layer of our cake, finalized honeymoon details, checked up on us before and after, and even had a nice surprise waiting for us at the resort!
Krista was, hands down, the best decision we made for our wedding. Although we are no longer her clients, we are now lucky enough to call her and her husband our friends. She continues to be an influence in our lives, and inspires me to find my calling like she clearly has! Used Event Identity as the Wedding Day Coordinator for my step-daughter's wedding 11/19/2013 and they went above and beyond in every area. Decided in July to hire a coordinator since we were planning everything ourselves and I was really stressing on how the day would go and how much work I would have to do if I coordinated myself. Krista and team were very well prepared and pitched in at every turn to assure my step-daughter's wedding was perfect...even in areas where we didn't expect. They are very kind and work like crazy on making sure ever aspect that has been planned actually goes as planned. We gave them the plans, expectations and vendor info and they took it from there. Definitely recommend Event Identity for your event and they are totally reasonably priced!
I have too many good things to say about Krista Borchard and Event Identity. My groom and I had a somewhat difficult wedding to plan, logistic-wise, and Krista made everything go off without a hitch. There isn't a single thing that went wrong or I would've changed about the planning or how the day went. She is very detail-oriented and asked for a lot of information in the months leading up to the wedding - which I personally LOVED because it told me she cared as much as I did about how our wedding day would transpire. I was also planning the wedding from out of state, so her flexibility with being able to do Skype and phone conversations and communicate through email was really helpful. She returned all phone calls and emails within a few hours of me emailing. When a few vendors fell through, Krista had awesome recommendations for new vendors and they all worked out. And to boot, she is just an overall awesome and extremely nice and caring person. A complete joy to work with. Hiring Event Identity for my niece's day of coordination is the best decision we ever made.

Krista met with my niece and her fiancé to get the details of the wedding. She obtained a list of the vendors they were using
and started coordinating a month before the wedding date. Krista put together a timeline so everyone from vendors to
groomsmen and bridal party knew where to be at every moment. At a time when you are so emotionally involved in the
planning process, the sage advice, professional wisdom and overall support from Krista was incredible.
The day of the wedding she kept everyone on schedule. She seemed to be every where at the same time.
She went from the grooms room to the brides room to the table set up making sure all was going well.
She went above and beyond the call of duty caring for tasks the anxious groom forgot he was supposed to do.
The rental company had set us up for an outdoor wedding. We had to move indoors because of rain.
Krista moved a lot of the equipment herself to save us money and time.
I met Krista at the rehearsal and she put me at ease from the moment we met. Her attention to detail and quaility
was incredible. She was organized, very caring and hard working. Her desire to do anything needed to give my niece the
wedding of her dreams was unparalleled.
As the Aunt of the bride, there was not one moment where I was uncertain, stressed or worried that anything would not
happen the way my niece had dreamed. When I think about the wedding and reception, I cannot help but smile.
Krista made it a truly memorable event. We had time to relax, have fun and spend time with our friends and family
without having to watch the clock or look after vendors. Simple acts of kindness, like checking to make sure we did not
need anything at the reception made us feel like royalty. People still talk about how much fun they had and how
well it was organized.
During the reception Krista began loading gifts and other items in my car so there would be no delays when it was over.
When the reception ended, she loaded all others items in my car and checked the venue to make sure we had not forgotten
anything. She took great care in making sure all breakables were wrapped and food items were protected for the ride home.
I highly recommend Event Identity to anyone planning a party or wedding.
Krista was an excellent wedding planner and I would highly recommend her to anyone! We used her for day-of coordination, although she was involved with vendor follow up and coordination 6 weeks before my wedding. I had already picked all of my vendors by the time we engaged her for services (about 6 months before my wedding), so she assisted us with developing a detailed timeline, organizing vendor contracts/payments, putting together contact lists and suggesting things I hadn't had thought about (like what song to play during the cake cutting.) I had two in-person meetings with her -one before we hired her and one a few weeks before the wedding to make sure everything was on track, and she was available anytime I needed to reach her via phone or email. She really took a load off of coordinating everything with vendors leading up to the wedding so I could focus on other things.
I don't think the day of my wedding would have gone so smoothly had Krista and her assistant Joyce not been there. There was a torrential rainstorm that knocked out power at my reception for most of the party, and Krista was on top of everything (I didn't even know power was out until we pulled up to the restaurant.) She worked quickly and seamlessly with the restaurant to gather candles and work with our band to play acoustic sets until the power came back on. It didn't even bother me that the power was out because everyone was having such a great time and luckily our venue (a lodge style restaurant) was romantic and rustic enough without power.
I found out after the wedding that the restaurant had also destroyed my cake top by throwing it in a paper bag, and Krista graciously contacted the cake vendor to request a new cake top, which they provided free of charge. I'm looking forward to enjoying it on our anniversary!
Big kudos to Krista for helping me, my husband and family celebrate my wedding in style and with grace! I would highly highly recommend her to anyone.
Event Identity did such a great job. They make sure that everything runs smoothly and just right. Sure there are things that dont always go as planned but on my wedding day we didnt find out about it at all, they did a great job of just keeping us happy and dealing with situations without bothering us. I was hesitant about hiring a wedding day coordinator. I didn't know if we needed that extra expense or if my sisters/bridesmaids could handle the extra tasks. Looking back, I am so glad we decided to hire a coordinator. Krista coordinates contact with your vendors starting 1 month before your wedding day. They all communicate final details with her and she makes the timeline so they all arrive at the right times. If any decisions need to be made, she will send you an email/call you instead of 10 different vendors. I thought of many last minute things that came to mind the week of our wedding and since I was at work, she could contact the vendors and make sure we were all on the same page. Krista kept our wedding day on schedule so we didn't miss anything we really wanted to happen. She was professional, kind, calm, so easy to work with and detail-oriented. Event Identity was really reasonably priced and I highly recommend them. It is worth the extra money to help reduce the month before/day of stress!

Weddings never go smoothly and as much as people tell brides that "things happen", the day of the wedding you'll most likely see said bride running around like a chicken with her head cut off because she lost her mom's credit card at the rehearsal dinner or because a bridesmaid's dress won't zip up (true story). But I can tell you this... I'm sure it would've been a lot more kinds of crazy if Krista hadn't been around to help. Yes, there were some glitches the day before and day of the wedding. Yes, there were some things that didn't go exactly as I had wanted. But, I take full responsibility for that. One thing is certain, when hiring a coordinator make sure to communicate what you and your soon-to-be husband want. People are not mind readers---so yes, there were some things about our big day that I wish had gone differently, or had been set up different--but in the end it comes back to whether I had communicated our wishes clearly. You get so caught up in planning all the details in your head for so long that you forget that other people don't know all the miniscule details you sweat over unless you tell them. So brides, do yourself a favor and make sure to state what you want when you want it! Krista did a great job with working with my husband and I throughout this process. My parents never had a big wedding and I'm the first to get married and actually plan something this big. I was very much all over the place but with Krista's help I felt a little more sane throughout this whole process.
Krista was extremely professional and ran our wedding day as smoothly as possible---I know it's a headache trying to direct 115 where they need to be, especially my crazy family who doesn't exactly follow directions very well.

In the days leading up to our wedding almost all my friends and family told me to remember that inevitably something would go wrong, and it would be okay. Well, thanks to Krista and Amy at Event Identity, I proved them wrong! Our wedding day was perfectly magical and amazingly stress free. Planning a wedding is the most stressful event of all and we never thought it would be so complicated! From finding a venue ( that fits your budget and has an opening on your date!) to choosing the caterer (that has a high class affordable cuisine) is so overwhelming!! Shortly after we got engaged, we had no idea where to start (google is not the place) and we realized it would be way over our head to try and plan our wedding on our own. We knew we needed a wedding planner but we didn't know who until we met with Krista. When we started working with her, half of our stress was gone and she started coordinating appointments with vendors to meet our exact needs and budget. Krista and her team were nothing short of fabulous! We decided to enlist Event Identity’s help because our wedding was taking place shortly after many hectic but exciting life events. My husband was graduating from grad school, and I was graduating from law school and would be taking the Texas Bar Exam two weeks before the big day. We knew we needed help, and after meeting Krista, I knew I trusted her to help make our wedding day stress free.
We opted to go with the Day of Coordination and met and spoke with Krista several times before the big day. Krista coordinated all of our vendors for the day-of, made a detailed schedule, organized and ran our rehearsal, and ran the big show on our wedding day. We had over 500 guests, so her and her team’s efforts were phenomenal. Her attention to detail, cool head, and super-fun personality made it so that we could sit back and enjoy ourselves without having to worry about a thing. I cannot say enough good things about Event Identity and would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone who wants to truly enjoy their big day!
