We chose Event Rents for our rentals because it was a required vendor for our venue (Spruce Mountain Ranch). Because of this, we knew that they would be trustworthy, reliable, and high quality. We scheduled an appointment to come to the show ro...om to pick out our rentals. They have a large showroom with every possible rental item and color to see. We started in our own separate room to pick our tablecloth. Once you pick your material, then you can pick your color. They are very upfront about the pricing and showing you the next steps up or down. They have a sample table and place everything that you end up choosing on the table to help you pick what you like best and see your vision. Next was the napkin color. They have drawers full of plates and silverware to choose from. They have lots of shelves to choose your water goblets. They also show you a few different napkin folding styles (who knew that was such a small detail that you have to make a decision for!) We worked with Ashtyn this day and she was helpful and friendly in answering our questions. She put together our quote for us and emailed us. Luckily, they work super close with Rocky Mountain Catering (our caterer) so our event manager for RMC had access to and could change our quote/order for us to make things a lot easier. When we had questions about our order or wanted to change something, we emailed and Mike responded quickly to our questions over email and calling. Know that there are a few things that you don’t plan for when you budget for your rentals. Not only do you have to have enough linens for your guest tables (and make sure you have the right size of the tables at the venue) but also for your catering tables, DJ table, and cocktail tables (luckily the caterer knows these table sizes and how many there are/need to be). If you want your cocktail tables to have a pop of color and be cinched, then you need to order chair sashes. We loved the natural chairs at our venue so we didn’t need to order chair covers or chair sashes. The damage waiver is an extra added cost. It is one of those things were you are kind of forced into, because you don’t know if spilling some candle wax on the tablecloth will have you paying more than the damage waiver itself, and it’s just safer to pay it up front and cover yourself from any problems. The same goes for delivery and pickup. You are able to pick it up yourself, but know that it is quite a lot of items, many of them breakable, and what happens when the items are dirty at the end of the night. Therefore it saves a lot of headache when you don’t have to even touch the rentals as they are seamlessly delivered and picked up for you. They have a nice online sign and pay system making it easy to pay, however it wasn’t working for me for some reason, so they were able to process my payment over the phone for me, which was helpful. Overall, there are loads and loads of choices and budget to play with here. I would recommend them for a seamless, high quality rental experience.
