a difficult task. We hired The Event Troupe after our first call because we knew we would be in good hands. The Event Troupe worked with all of our vendors, coordinated everything, and made everything a breeze for us. Amanda wanted us to enjoy our day without any worries and that is exactly what we did. We had two of the most stressful weeks leading up to our wedding with two hurricanes/evacuations and not knowing if we would have a house to come back to. Amanda took the time out of her day to check in on us to see how we were doing and if there was anything she could do to help. On top of that, the first cold front of the season was supposed to descend on our outdoor wedding venue the day of our wedding with cold temperatures and snow predicted. Without hesitation, Amanda went to work to help us determine all our alternative options to move the wedding indoors or bring in tents and heaters. The day before the wedding we called an audible and decided to take our chances on the weather by keeping the wedding outside and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful days ever. While we'd like to think Amanda and The Event Troupe called in a favor for the absolutely perfect weather we know she did all she could do to make our incredible day the wedding of our dreams. a fantastic job! As a destination bride, it was so helpful to be able to ship out what decor we needed to her so we didn’t have to fly or drive it to CO! She has a lot of items we were able to rent, too, which was very convenient. The design workshop she did was also really helpful to see didn’t table settings, napkin folds, etc as I really did not know what I wanted at first. Amanda kept everything on track during the wedding, everything went so smoothly and guests had nothing but compliments for the day. Thanks Amanda!

. I was excited to hire Amanda as my wedding planner because she seemed very detail oriented. While this still remains true, she is detail oriented for the way she wants the wedding to go. I had to fight for doing family photos before..she kept telling me “that’s not how I do it, it’s better to do family photos after”. Fast forward to our walk thru..I was incredibly embarrassed by her attitude & lack of respect for the other vendors. So much so that our day of contact for the venue, Sara, had to ask her boss to be there on the day of the wedding in case Amanda acted up. Sara also offered to me to be my primary contact on the wedding day so I didn’t have to be talked down to on my wedding day, in which I accepted. I never confronted Amanda regarding this because she was intimidating & not welcoming to hearing what I, the bride, had to say. Leading into the wedding, she had extremely early due dates for things. She asked me for the emcee sheet, which I gave directly to the DJ & communicated that with her, but she still responded by saying I need that like yesterday please…” **See attached photo for email** Additionally, she needed my ceremony seating chart 3 months prior to the actual wedding. I did give it to her, but it wouldn’t have mattered because she made my mother cry the day of. She argued with my mom that her ex husbands new wife should be in the front row. Thankfully she didn’t win this fight due to the 3 amazing ushers we had. However, it hurt my heart to see my mother & myself cry on my wedding day due to Amanda. At the rehearsal, she was micromanaging like nobody’s business. It took 45 min to practice just 1 time & she was being rude. I asked if we could walk from farther back to help my bridesmaid & a groomsmen practice their song while I was walking down the aisle. She ignored it & said nope. Then, she was telling me EXACTLY where to place my hands on my fiancé & that I needed my bouquet for when the officiant said “you may now kiss your bride”. I told Amanda I didn’t want my bouquet, but she said “YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT, it makes for a great photo.” I said “What if I don’t want it?” in which she responded with, “You have to have it.” She also needed her tip the night of the rehearsal, which I thought was unprofessional because we wouldn’t have tipped her as much after her behavior on our wedding day. She also reiterated to my mother that she has an anti harassment clause & told me one of my bridesmaids was verbally harassing her. Though my bridesmaid did confront her, it was in support of me getting what I wanted & was nothing near verbal harassment. I understand the verbal harassment clause protecting Amanda, but where’s the one protecting the clients?? If anybody was verbally harassing, it was Amanda. After the wedding, I received an email titled “For your sober self” which was incredibly rude because nobody was drunk. She told me that she talked with the bar to stop serving doubles & go to plastic ware because a few glasses were broken (what wedding doesn’t have broken glasses?!)…but we paid the bar for glassware…so we wasted money on that. Amanda was the biggest waste of money. I am only posting this because I’d hate for another bride & groom to be troubled with the drama she created for both myself, my family, & the wedding party.

She went above and beyond just helping coordinate the day of the wedding, she coordinated with all of our vendors so they knew where to be when, she arranged all of our wedding favors and table seating, she let us deliver wedding material to her house so we wouldn't have to travel with it, she set-up and took down the decorations at the ceremony site and reception, and she even found us a photographer a week out from the wedding due to a last minute cancellation. We cannot say enough great things about working with Amanda and the Event Troupe. Our wedding would not have been a success without her.

My husband and I were affected by the fires in Superior at the end of 2021 and while we didn't lose our home (thankfully), we were evacuated and could not return home for some time due to the toxins. Amanda was right there with us providing support and additional guidance during this difficult time which was honestly the more generous and kind thing we could have ever asked for. She went above and beyond in every way helping us find vendors, acting as a liaison between our vendors and us once they were booked, and she even has this extremely fun decorating party where you get to go to her home and make selections from her endless supply of beautiful wedding decor to rent for your day. On our wedding day, everything went off so smoothly. We had many guests that made comments to us during the wedding about how incredible she was! You would be doing yourself a huge disservice by not booking Amanda. She is worth every penny. Thank you so much, Amanda, for helping to make our day so special!

She spent months helping me pick the perfect venue, a few weeks helping me design a custom dessert table mini branch tree with hanging lights, and everything in between! She’s even let me ship things to her house so I wouldn’t have to fly with them and I got full access to her garage of wedding decor! On a budget, she also spent a lot of time giving me options to bring down the cost of some of my more expensive ideas. She knows and has relationship with many venues and vendors in the area which really helps too. I also love that it’s a family affair with her daughter and mom joining in to help occasionally. I would recommend Amanda many times over, and she deserves 3 times what she charges!

people, I would say she is like a sweet, loving aunt who wants to do everything in her power to make sure your wedding day is as perfect as you imagine it to be. The biggest thing we needed from her was help to decorate the venue, which she did an amazing job with, literally exactly how I pictured it. Covid. Amanda helped curate our event that included EVERYTHING. As someone (me) who doesn’t fret over the details but wanted a memorable experience, Amanda made it happen to the extreme. A wedding in 30 days? With spectacular vendors? This turned out to be the exact thing that my (now) husband and I needed. I was a destination bride and she was so patient and welcoming with me getting my items shipped to her home. It was great to land in Colorado and get off my plane to find all my wedding props sorted neatly in categories in her home and my signs already framed. She helped double check every detail of my day and eased the stress of a destination wedding. She had no problem communicating with my mom and sister when they had questions. If I was on the fence about something or just felt like it was too hard to accomplish, she had a way of easing my negative thoughts and making it a reality! I 100% recommend Amanda for your big day!
