Jaime was a true professional and helped us immensely in the wedding planning an execution process. We had an at-home wedding, and didn't realize how much work it was to coordinate. Luckily Jaime is very experienced in home weddings and thought of everything! Jaime was clear about when we needed make decisions about each vendor and has worked with many vendors in the area, so gave us several options for each. She advised us on and helped us plan so many aspects of the wedding that we never even thought about, like bathroom trailers, generators, etc. She took note of what we cared about and what we didn't care so much about to make sure the day went smoothly and the way we wanted. Jaime was especially helpful on the months and days leading up to the wedding - she kept in contact with every vendor and was on site daily for our tent & rentals set up so we didn't have to manage it. She also wrangled friends & family members to coordinate the rehearsal, which likely would have taken hours without her :) I felt so relaxed my wedding day knowing that Jaime had control. It went so smoothly and it really wouldn't have been possible without her! Thank you again so much Jaime !

Jaime is an absolute ROCKSTAR!! We are so lucky to have worked with her on multiple events, including our wedding! Jaime is amazing! She was there with us through every step of the process. Her attention to detail and organization makes the wedding planning process easy and stress-free. She listens very carefully to what you want as a couple and makes sure every vendor is understanding perfectly. Jaime worked with me all the way from Newport Beach, CA. It was pretty stressful putting a wedding together from across the country, and Jaime helped us with so many details. She thinks outside the box, offers insight and guidance without pushing, and is extremely professional and responsive. She even helped us with planning our Welcome Party the day before our wedding. Jaime and her team looked after every detail on the day of, and we had absolutely no worries! Everything was perfect!

Jaime gave us the best gift we could ask for -- peace of mind on our wedding day. We hired her as day of coordinator, and it was a pleasure working with her in the weeks leading up to the event and on the big day. She helped us nail down details for the timeline and choreograph how all the elements would fit together. It was so helpful having her coordinate with all the vendors and make sure everyone was where they needed to be on the wedding day. And when the bumps came up (literally, our officiant was rear-ended on the way to the wedding), she managed with poise and a problem-solving mindset. MAGIC. Jaime is magic. We hired her as our full time wedding planner, planning our wedding in Jamestown, RI, while we were in LA. Besides Jaime, there was little support from family, she was everything and WOW, did she do an incredible job. I legit MISS HER. Guests and even vendors came up to us saying it was the most perfect and fun wedding. A total 10. That was because of Jaime. She was worth every penny and more. She also is an absolutely lovely human being that you will want to have around you during both the stressful moments and the magical ones. Some things to know - First of all, we chose a beautiful yet challenging venue, a private residence in Jamestown where we had to bring in every fork and knife, even the bathrooms and solar lights for the dangerous driveway - just one of Jaime’s many great ideas! We held FOUR events at this venue with different staff and catering for each (a lobster clambake rehearsal dinner in the tent, a welcome party upstairs, the ceremony/reception and a day after brunch). Jaime’s attention to detail and coordination at all events was on point. She is kind, patient and isn’t afraid to work hard and get her hands dirty moving/lifting things - her team of assistants were also absolute gems! Jaime even lent us tons of items (ice tubs, easels, etc) and went out of her way to make sure our name cards were gorgeously displayed, napkins were fanned out to my liking and so much more. If there were issues at any of the events, I didn’t know about it. They were handled. We did have something come up with our venue AFTER the wedding weekend about pickup and Jaime ON HER VACATION went to the venue and picked up trash by hand and broke down a table (not a folding table, but broke down a legitimate screwed together table) and put it in her car to ensure we would not be charged cause a vendor did not complete their pick-up of items properly. Planning the wedding over the course of the year was equally as great. She answers emails and texts quickly and clearly and was always available to jump on the phone to talk things out. I felt very safe in her care. When I was in town, she would make time to meet me in person. I loved that she recommend trusted vendors, but I never felt like any were being forced on me, and she was flexible and open to any vendors I presented to her. She took into consideration our budget constraints and never judged any of our decisions. I also felt like she was honest, if I asked an opinion of option A or B, she’d give me the pros and cons and sometimes if I felt like both were great, I’d just let her decide based on her expertise - having an expert onboard is so worth it! So many vendors told us Jaime was their favorite planner to work with and she got along great with everyone in our families from our niece and nephew to our friends and parents. Jaime, from Eventfully Planned, far exceeded any expectations we had in terms of a wedding planner, every single step of the way. Not only is she one of the most organized and detail oriented people I’ve ever met, she’s someone you’ll want to be friends with. Honestly, it felt weird to not have her as a guest at our wedding - it was as if she should have been out there on the dance floor with us! But, she’s all business on the wedding day, hardly even visible and simply making sure everything single thing is perfect. As a bride, this is exactly what you want. So much time and energy went into the planning, it’s so wonderful to be able to completely enjoy each moment of the day without worrying about anything. Jaime also has such wonderful relationships with so many vendors - they all love her! This made all the planning seem almost seamless and is especially helpful if you’re not local to RI. I can’t recommend Jaime more highly. If you can — book her ASAP!!!

Jaime helped us plan our August wedding in Newport, RI and we would highly recommend her! We live in New York, and since we were planning our wedding remotely we were keen on having someone with local expertise and Jaime did not disappoint! She helped us with everything from vendor selection to taking care of the minutest details on the days of both our welcome party and wedding. She knows ALL of the vendors in the area, and made the planning process seamless. Jaime offered up great suggestions, but never pushed anything on us and allowed us to make our own decisions. Jaime was indispensible on our wedding day. Not only did she coordinate with all of the vendors and handle 100% of the setup, she came prepared for everything. It was raining on the morning of the wedding and Jaime had thought ahead and purchased cute clear umbrellas to use for pictures. The venue was pushing for us to install a tent for our outdoor ceremony (which we really did not want), but behind the scenes Jaime advocated for us to have an outdoor ceremony without a tent because the rain was scheduled to stop in time. She had also thought of a rain contingency plan in case we did not have a tent and the rain continued. I had an issue with my dress during the reception, and she even helped me cut out boning in my dress – yes she really will do everything! Most of all, my husband and I appreciated how organized and calm she was the day of the wedding. I am sure there were about 100 different things going on in the background, but we were blissfully unaware. In addition to our wedding, Jaime helped us throw a welcome party for all of our guests on the Friday prior to our wedding, which was basically a mini wedding. The event turned out to be spectacular, and we were so impressed with the final product. On the day of, we had to worry about absolutely nothing – we walked into the venue and everything was set up perfectly. Many of our guests weren’t sure how the wedding would top the welcome dinner. We’re not sure what we would have done without Jaime!

My husband and I employed Jaime Nelson of Eventfully Planned to plan our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and wedding reception held in the fall of 2018. We started by meeting in person and discussing our overall vision for the event, and we hired her immediately following the meeting. She is patient, and detail-oriented, which you can tell from speaking with her about her weddings. She was always generous with her time, always quick to respond to emails as we got closer to the event. She had excellent suggestions for vendors and kept a detailed Google doc folder full of information on them, which was added to as more and more details were finalized. She coordinated communication between the vendors and us, and with the venues of our events, with a relaxed demeanor. Any questions that we had for anyone we directed through Jaime, and she was always ready with an answer, or she knew exactly who to talk to for an answer. She also had lots of useful suggestions for creative ideas for décor and ways to make guests feel included during the day of the wedding, as well as solutions for things like room setup that we hadn’t thought of. When it came to the day of, she was the person behind the scenes making sure that everything ran smoothly. We didn't even see the venue until we were walking down the aisle, and it looked terrific: we didn't have to worry about decoration or deliveries or setup, Jaime handled it all. She was there gently reminding us all of what was coming next, which allowed us to kind of float through the afternoon without worrying at all. We were ahead of time on almost all of the scheduled moments for the day. I cannot stress enough how important this aspect of her service was; it made the day so stress-free and light-hearted. Never once with any vendor or any interaction during planning or the day of did my husband and I, as an LGBT couple, experience any discrimination or lack of support. Jaime was great with us, and we felt true support from her when discussing the details of our marriage. Overall, we would recommend hiring Jaime Nelson of Eventfully Planned to plan your wedding event. We thought we would be able to do it all on our own, but she was the best choice we could have possibly made, and truly elevated the overall experience.

Jaime planned our daughter’s wedding on October 6th and it was beyond our wildest dreams. Our cocktails and reception were outdoors and a challenging setting... in our first meeting Jaime knew I was uncomfortable about how to make it all happen and I will never forget her saying “ that’s what I’m here for”. From then on I had 100% confidence in every aspect of the wedding planning. Jaime is detail oriented and conscientious about cost, it was so refreshing. She was organized and upbeat in every phone call, email or meeting. She has wonderful and respectful relationships with our amazing vendors. We will miss our constant contact with Jaime, she truly became a friend, but we will always stay in touch and cannot recommend her enough!

All I can say is wow! Ever since my first interaction with Jaime, she made everything stress-free and very easily manageable. She is extremely organized, timely, and helps you out in every way possible! Newport was a destination wedding for all our 200+ family and friends so I assumed there would be a lot of work on my end to make sure that they weekend went by smoothly. The best part? Jaime was able to give me bite sized pieces and small projects for me to work on slowly throughout the process. I can honestly say that I never felt overwhelmed because of how she nativgated my family and I throughout the entire process. Jaime is reliable, confident, and will execute each task flawlessly! Thank you Jaime for making all our dreams come true!! We received countless compliments that our wedding was the best wedding that are guests have ever been to and we have Jaime to thank for that!

I cannot say enough good things about Jaime. She was absolutely FABULOUS to work with. Always available and willing to email back and forth / jump on a call / meet in person and was always so incredibly patient (I sent a LOT of emails). I worked with Jaime for over a year planning my wedding and never once did she make me feel like there was any other wedding that was more important than mine (though of course she was working with other brides throughout the time, and I'm sure was making them feel the same way!) Leading up to the wedding, Jaime was a detail-oriented (always going through invoices line by line to ensure nothing was missed or added inappropriately), budget-conscious, solutions-oriented, problem-solving extraordinaire, and really always steered us in the right direction. Even when we had wild ideas, Jaime would let us entertain them just long enough to get it out of our system before ultimately coming down to earth and going with the more logical (and cost effective) approach. (But had we stuck with the wild ideas, Jaime would be prepared to make them happen nonetheless). The weekend of the wedding, Jaime absolutely blew us away. Every vendor that we worked with (which was a lot) praised Jaime for being the best of the best - we even got a portapotty upgrade because of her! - and the most organized, on-it wedding planner that they had ever worked with, and that couldn't be more correct. I am a control freak, project manager by nature, but was able to completely let go and enjoy the weekend and wedding day entirely because I knew Jaime had everything handled. Her presence was incredibly calming - she never once even seemed stressed! - and she was always there for my husband and I to turn to whenever we needed anything at all. Jaime was an absolutely AMAZING wedding planner, and the post-wedding-blues are especially difficult knowing that I no longer get to work with her :(

Can't recommend Eventfully Planned enough! Jaime was an integral part of our wonderful wedding! From the first meeting, she was incredibly kind, organized, and honest with us. Now, having been through the entire process, I can honestly say that our wedding would not have been as organized, beautiful, completely enjoyable to the guests and my husband and I. Every detail was cared for and perfected! Some of Jaime's specific strengths include: -Organized: Jaime kept us in line with a useful timeline and regular check ins. -Well-connected: Jaime recommend a fantastic team of vendors (lights/DJ, floral, photographer, catering). -Communication: Jaime not only kept in touch with us (just the right amount), she also communicated with each of the vendors, which took an incredible amount of work off of our plate. -Vision: my husband, mother-in-law, and I had ideas about how the wedding would look. Jaime helped make those visions a reality with a meticulous eye for detail. -Trustworthy: Jaime is SO kind and understanding. We had some family issues that concerned us and relaying our concerns to Jaime took a ton of this deeply personal pressure off of our plates. That was truly Jaime going up and beyond our expectations! -Hard-working: Jaime works SO hard! Jaime was the first to arrive on the day before and after the wedding. She ensured that the tent was set up and seating was just right. From the start of the planning through the wedding day, Jaime worked tirelessly to pull off the event!

My wedding day was truly amazing and I can't imagine doing it without Jaime's (Eventfully Planned) help! With a demanding job and trying to plan a wedding from Boston to take place in Newport in only 6 mos. I needed some serious assistance! Jaime provided choices for vendors that she knew and trusted and it helped tremendously just being able to choose from a small list vs. having to doing all the research myself. I appreciated how organized she was, keeping track of vendor lists, hotel options, schedule, etc. all on clear spreadsheets. We had regular calls to check in on the status of different items and she also accompanied me to a few in-person vendor appointments as well. I wasn't familiar with all of the (many) different options for tent lighting, furniture rentals, dishware, linens and flowers. Having Jaime to talk me through these options with the vendors was very helpful and it make the process of choosing vendors and items a lot easier. I liked that Jaime was very calm, practical and provided her advice when I needed it but didn't give her opinions overly willingly, allowing me to make sure that our ideas and style were still represented. We had a lot of conversations that ended up with me asking "what do most people do for X,Y,Z ?" or "what do you think makes sense?" because I valued her opinion and I truly didn't know what to do a lot of the time when having to make certain decisions (and there are a LOT of decisions to be made when wedding planning!) As my wedding day grew closer, Jaime took on the big task of helping to deliver my welcome bags to a lot of different locations. Her calm, soothing presence was so helpful the day of my wedding. For me as a type A, mild control freak, normally letting someone else run the show on the big day would have stressed me out but I was 110% confident that Jaime had everything under control. It was so nice letting go of all the coordination the day of the wedding and simply being a part of it. There were some complications the day of my wedding that Jaime dealt with behind the scenes, many of which I found out about after the wedding. She handled it all like a pro, e.g. a short but intense thunderstorm caused our cocktail hour to need to be be moved inside the tent which she did without needing anything from me, the wind from the storm was blowing in the tent so Jaime not only contacted the tent company to come secure it but she and her assistant physically held the plastic sheeting in place themselves until the tent company arrived. Also, it turns out that our trolley driver had damaged one of my vendor's cars! Jaime handled all of this for me and I didn't even know that it was happening. I was able to relax, have fun and enjoy what was the happiest day of my life! Hiring Jaime with Eventfully Planned was the best wedding planning decision that I made.

Working with Jaime was the absolute best decision we made in our entire wedding planning process. I cannot possibly say enough good things about her, or properly express what an amazing job she did with our wedding! We got married at the end of June in Charlestown, Rhode Island. Our 175-person wedding was at my parent’s house, so absolutely every vendor - tents, catering, linens, bathrooms, lighting, you name it! had to be organized and coordinated separately. My husband and I both have very busy jobs, so we relied HEAVILY on Jaime, and worked with her throughout all the planning process leading up to the wedding, and then of course on the day of. She was available to us whenever we wanted to discuss something, and was always incredibly prompt in getting back to us! Additionally, she did an amazing job keeping us on track! To start, she is so incredibly kind, thoughtful and funny, and my entire family absolutely ADORED her and trusted her with absolutely everything. My Dad especially was very eager to be involved in planning (and was at times very stressed out about the logistics) – but Jaime did such an amazing job of including him in all aspects of the planning that he wanted to be involved with, but also making him feel SO secure that everything was taken care of, that he was able to completely relax. Beneath the calm exterior Jaime projects is a planning mastermind – she doesn’t miss a SINGLE detail. She also added so many thoughtful small touches that we hadn’t even thought of – and didn’t even necessarily know about! – until the day of. Additionally, ALL the vendors in the area know her, respect her, and love working with her (literally, every time we met a new vendor they would tell us how much they loved Jaime), and for the few vendors we found from further away that she hadn’t worked with before (our florist and band) she worked beautifully with them as well. She also had fantastic vendor recommendations, and helped us narrow down and choose vendors, especially for decisions we didn't care about as much. We also had a few vendors we came up with on our own, and she did not care at all that they weren't her suggestions. On the day of, we felt like we could 100% relax, because we knew Jaime would take care of everything, which she did! Even in the face of the (very real) threat of rain throughout the entire wedding, Jaime created a BEAUTIFUL rain backup plan, and made the whole night magical. I cannot possibly recommend her more highly.

I cannot say enough good things about Jaime- she is WONDERFUL. I highly recommend her, especially to anyone looking to plan a long distance wedding (she helped us put together our wedding in RI, we live in California) and she could not have made the process easier or more stress-free. At our first meeting, we walked through a couple of possible venue contracts and it immediately became very, very clear, very quickly, the value she would provide and expertise she would bring to the table throughout the entire process. She started flipping through the contracts, underlining possible points of concerns and things we should get clarified in the contract language, then pulled out a calculator and helped us strategize on where we could cut costs, how to order quantities of things that made sense and possible negotiation strategies we could use with the venues, coming up with ideas we never would have even thought to ask or suggest. She is super responsive, hyper organized, on top of everything, knowledgable, and excellent with vendor negotiation. When I would send her massive emails with tons of detailed questions, she followed up within a day every single time, and made all the extraneous details and planning completely painless. She’s pragmatic and realistic, without being remotely pushy, and she always had our best interest in mind in everything she did- it really felt like she was our advocate. She gave wonderful recommendations while being conscious of our budget, and we adored every single vendor she endorsed. She went to bat for us anytime there was a snafu with any vendor and we could not have been happier with her. On a more personal note, she’s incredibly warm, friendly, personable, emotionally intuitive and comes off as completely calm and relaxed even in the midst of the chaos of the event, which made us feel so much more comfortable and happy on the day of. Hiring her was the best decision we could have made.

Jaime is an absolute delight to work with and an incredibly organized, thoughtful and talented wedding planner. She helped me pull off a wedding that required literally everything be brought in from outside (chairs, tables, toilets, food & beverage, tent, transportation everything you can think of). This would have been a nightmare to do on my own and Jaime did it so smoothly and effectively. She was always responsive and so knowledgeable about everything to expect. I can't recommend working with her enough.

Jaime is spectacular!!! After seeing her in action at a wedding that we were a part of, we had to have her for ours. We hired Jaime for day of planning and she was beyond amazing! She made sure our venue planners were placing things in the right spots, that our photographers/ videographers/ florists/ HMU artists were all aware of where and when to be in places. And most importantly she made sure we were on time and where we needed to be. She was a pleasure to have around always checking in on us, and so beyond helpful. Our day was perfect and it absolutely was that way because of Jaime and her team's help! We highly recommend Eventfully Planned as the best of the best!

Jamie was a FANTASTIC day of coordinator! She was so organized, professional, and easy to work with. Jamie had experience with our venue and most of our other vendors, which was a real asset. I was planning remotely, so it was really helpful to have someone local during the last month to reach out to vendors, etc. Jamie was excellent on the day of the wedding. She kept us on schedule, fielded incoming vendors, and tended to every request my family and I made. She even took my dog back to his border after the ceremony! Jamie played a crucial role in our day--I don't know what I would have done without her!

What can I tell you about Jaime Nelson… STOP contemplating it and hire her now. We hired Jaime as a full service wedding planner after interviewing a few people in the Newport area. What struck me following our phone interview was her attention to detail. While hiring a wedding planner may seem like an unnecessary additional expense, thinking of all that Jaime did to prepare and day of our wedding she is WELL worth her weight in gold. If planning a high end wedding in Newport, look no further. Several Rhode Island vendors I worked with say, “Jaime is one of my favorite planners.” After a unexpected family emergency, I asked Jaime if she thought it would be possible to reschedule our wedding to 9 months earlier. Several months into the wedding planning process with deposits on all of our vendors, Jaime didn’t even blink an eye. I had updated contracts in my email inbox within hours. The week leading up to our wedding was surprisingly relaxed because from start to finish Jaime handles everything. Welcome bags, scheduling/coordinating vendors, making sure wedding party gifts make it to the locations, getting booze on the trolley, delivering the gifts at the end of the night, Jaime even made sure I had a change of shoes before leaving for the after party. If something goes wrong, the bride and groom will never know about it. Jaime made sure that even the littlest details that I had mentioned were perfect. She is a very calming presence on the wedding day. Jaime truly is a great person, fastidious wedding coordinator, and all of her efforts ensured that our big day was truly unforgettable.

When we started planning our wedding, we were not sure if we needed a day of coordinator, but hiring Jaime Nelson was one of the best decisions that we made. From the first time we spoke, Jaime was extremely responsive and professional. She took the time to understand our vision for our big day, and executed it perfectly. When we met with Jaime before our wedding, she offered lots of helpful ideas and advice based on her prior experience. She was present at our ceremony rehearsal and helped to keep things moving smoothly. For our reception, we had tons of candle holders that we planned to use as centerpieces and to decorate the space. Jaime took care of getting all of these items to the venue, and did an amazing job of setting everything up on the day of the wedding. Both the ceremony and reception space were perfect- intimate, beautiful and exactly what we had envisioned. I don't know how we would have pulled it off without Jaime! Jaime also coordinated all of the vendors and made sure that everything went smoothly. At the end of the wedding, Jaime and her assistant packed up all of our items so that we just needed to go pick them up from the venue the next day. Hiring Jaime allowed me to enjoy my wedding day, without worrying about anything. Most importantly, Jaime was extremely pleasant to work with. She was always smiling, and our wedding party and parents all commented how nice she was. We are so happy that we hired Jaime!

Truth: Jaime helped two clueless people (myself and my husband) plan an amazing rehearsal dinner & wedding that was beyond what we could have imagined for ourselves. Most brides have detailed Pinterest boards and a vision for their perfect wedding day. When I was a bride planning our wedding, I was the exact opposite. Weddings? Our goal was getting our friends and family from across the country and around the world together in one place to celebrate with us. Besides that, I had no idea where to start. My husband and I aren't type-a personalities. We weren't ready for all the details and vendors, plus we were planning our Newport wedding from a distance. We knew we needed someone like Jaime to help us, so we booked her a year in advance. Having her expertise on trusted vendors, and her availability for any random question either of us had about our wedding was invaluable. She connected us with our venue and almost all of our fantastic vendors. Because Jaime took care of contacting our vendors on our behalf, I was able to juggle my full time job and focus on our wedding theme. Often, Jaime would join in vendor meetings and offer more advice during and afterwards. The last week before our wedding, Jaime and her assistants were rockstars. They took our belongings for the events and set things according to plan. They had a set schedule for everything. It was amazing for my husband and I on our rehearsal and wedding day to just enjoy ourselves and the company of our loved ones. This wouldn't have happened without Jaime and her staff working their magic behind the scenes. Every time a friend or family member sees us now, they mention how awesome, fun, and unique our wedding was. Where to begin! Jaime is amazing! She gave us the most incredible wedding - one that will be remembered forever by many! Whatever she did behind the scenes allowed us to have the best time and, of course, we had complete faith in her. What she did that we did know about was beautiful- everything from coordinating the vendors and the bridesmaids/groomsmen, answering our last minute questions, suggesting new vendors, and patiently working with us throughout the year. Some specifics: She has an eye for decor and is always great to rely on for her opinion; She is nimble, quick thinking, and flexible when faced with an unexpected change; If there was ever an issue, she presented alternatives calmly and never threw a situation into our laps to deal with alone; She is speedy at communication and will never forget to respond to an email. She is very tactful and willingly interceded with vendors on our behalf; she suggested wonderful, reliable and talented vendors. We are from out of state and having the wedding at our private home, but made it up to Rhode Island a few of times for planning weekends. Jaime was always very happy to accommodate meeting us. We asked Jaime's opinion on many subjects and received thoughtful answers and options that she also tailored for us as she got to know us. She was always patient about letting us add details here and there. Her assistants helping the day of the wedding were friendly and professional. They completely took care of the key players of our wedding party the entire evening. Honestly, we cannot sing her praises enough. Jaime Nelson is nothing short of amazing at what she does. My now husband and I hired her as the day of coordinator for our wedding. Jaime is the absolute best and I cannot even begin to say enough good things about her. Multiple guests at my wedding not only told me how my wedding was one of the most beautiful and most fun that they ever attended (and they’ve attend many fabulous weddings), but could not get over how every detail was thought of and how seamlessly it ran – this was not me and all Jaime. I was planning a Newport wedding from New York and I could not have done it without her. I threw a big welcome dinner lobster bake for all of my guests as well as a wedding and she managed BOTH effortlessly (from decoration details from lobster bibs to chandeliers, to multiple tents, to transportation to managing all the vendors, to compiling delivery gift bags to B&Bs all over newport). No matter how many disjointed emails/texts I sent over the course of my wedding planning year – and I sent a ton, Jaime was always incredibly responsive, kind and organized. She is incredibly efficient, but is always smiling. She is a ‘YES we can’ type of person she figures out how to make your ideas work. She offered tons of ideas and had many options for me at all price points, and was always practical – never pushing anything on me. She looked into everything I asked about and set me up with some of the nicest and best vendors, but also was supportive of any vendors I found on my own. On both my rehearsal dinner and my wedding day, I did not have to worry about a thing! She set up everything, managed my many vendors, even had me send her number along to guests. I used Jaime and her team for my daughter's June 3, 2017 wedding in Narragansett, RI. We had 3 different events over the weekend and counted on Jaime's expertise for each one. We hired Jaime for full service wedding planning - throughout the process and now after the wedding looking back, we have said it was one of the best decisions we made! We had an outdoor wedding at my parents house in Rhode Island, which in and of itself brings challenges. The process to get the house prepared for everything we'd need to have the event we wanted was seamless, thanks to Jaime. She is very thorough, communicative and has a great way of listening as well as making recommendations. We are not local, but that did not stress the process at all as Jaime worked very seamlessly and directly with my parents. From the first meeting, I knew that she would be able to take my vision and make it a reality, without blowing past the budget. She had great ideas about how to save money on things, and she has great contacts both in and around Newport. She was friendly and calm and always responsive to my emails, no matter when I sent them and what the subject was. I would get ideas at all hours of the day about random details, like what kind of silverware I wanted, and I knew that all I had to do was send one email and it would be taken care of. Jaime is fabulous! She is very knowledgable and experienced in event planning, and yet she truly listened to what was important to us throughout the process. Jaime was very easy to communicate with and always quick to respond to our questions and ideas. She is both very kind and supportive, yet also very professional and assertive with vendors. Jaime did an awesome job as the 'day-of' coordinator for my daughter's September wedding! She was warm, professional, competent and courteous. Prior to the wedding her recommendations of reputable vendors, layout of the venue space and even tips on giving tips were especially helpful! Since the reception was in an a-typical industrial venue we were on our own designing the decor. Jaime took the time to really understand my daughter's vision and she and her staff set up the room exactly as my daughter had envisioned. It was exquisite! Most of all it was a huge comfort to know that I could count on Jaime to handle ALL the details of the day with her calm professionalism and even help with any unexpected issues. (gown got sullied during photos!) She's the right choice!

Jaime was awesome!! I hired Jaime to be my day of planner to help with any and all details or issues that would come up. She was so on top of her game and I felt so relaxed and confident knowing I had her there for my big day. She made sure everything was how it should be and I didn't have to worry about anything!! She also was very responsive to a my MILLION emails I sent leading up to the wedding - which was amazing since I had only hired her for the day of planning. I hired Jaime as a Day-Of Coordinator and it was the best decision I made for our September wedding! My husband and I chose a venue where you had to bring everything in - which meant a lot of vendors to juggle. We also picked a place that is fairly new to doing weddings which was another added challenge. AND on top of all of that, my husband and I had a very large wedding party. Jaime did an amazing job keeping everything organized and keeping us on time. The day of the wedding someone actually passed out on the dock we were getting married on right before we went to walk down the aisle, and Jaime kept everyone calm, informed everyone what was happening and kept everything moving us normally as possible. In addition to everything she did for the wedding, she completely picked up the house the girls got ready in which happened to be right next to our venue. It was a huge huge help. Having Jaime allowed me to enjoy the wedding we had spent so long planning without having to worry about the hiccups!

Jaime was an incredible planner. She thought of everything and really understood my untraditional vision. Jaime is creative and thoughtful, both of which are great qualities in a wedding planner. I felt comfortable asking her anything--she was incredibly supportive throughout the process! We got married at a unique venue without a coordinator of any kind. That meant that we had to think of everything. Not only did Jaime make sure we covered all of the bases, but she helped me pull off the wedding of my dreams.

Deciding to work with Jaime Nelson was absolutely the best decision we made during our entire wedding planning process. I reached out to her in January 2016, about a month after we got engaged. My fiancé and I were dead set on an August date and knew that we wanted a tented wedding at my parents' beach home in Westport, MA. Despite giving her just 7 months to create our venue from scratch, everything was executed to absolute perfection. We live in DC and know next to nothing about vendors in the area, so we relied on Jaime 110% for our vendor choices. She knocked it out of the park with her recommendations and secured the best band, the best photographer, the best caterer, etc etc. While I wasn't a picky bride, per se, I did definitely have an overall idea of how I wanted our weekend to be and how I wanted our wedding day to look. Jaime went above and beyond, creating an even more gorgeous day than I was hoping for. Being able to relax during the days leading up to your wedding weekend (and on your wedding day itself!) is so invaluable and is something that I don't think you can truly appreciate until it's all over. My fiancé and I knew that our wedding weekend was absolutely in the best hands, which allowed us to focus on our guests and on each other without worrying about a thing. I knew that, if something did go wrong (which, to my knowledge, nothing did!), Jaime would take care of it. To sum it up - if you've yet to choose a planner, choose Jaime & her team. It will be, hands down, the smartest decision you make while planning.

Our summer wedding at Rosecliff was spectacular thanks to Jaime. I have known Jaime on a personal level for years and always admired her driven and kind hearted nature. Shortly after getting engaged we realized we had no idea where to begin in planning a wedding for over 200 people in our dream location, Newport. Thats when I immediately called Jaime. She helped us through every step of the process from venue selection, to finding the best vendors, to planning our day of schedule to make sure we were on time for pictures, and so much more. We had a huge ancestry table that was very important to my mother, and Jaime made sure that among other things looked perfect on our wedding day. She even put together custom take home cake boxes for me when I just didnt have the time. Jaime really does it all and allows you to truly relax and enjoy your special day. I'm a little late with my review, but we had Jaime plan our Rhode Island wedding in May. We are located in Michigan, so we had to depend on Jaime for most of the details. We knew the kind of wedding "feel" we wanted, but didn't have a lot of very specific ideas. Jaime helped us nail down exactly what we wanted and she did an excellent job throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was very organized, professional, and kept her cool when I would have been stressing out. She coordinated the wedding on the day of, and things were perfect. She worked with all of the vendors to give us a wedding day better than we could have imagined. We were very thankful that she took the stress of planning and coordinating off of us. My now husband and I met with Jaime very early into our two year engagement. We knew we wanted a venue where we could bring in all our own vendors and we knew we would need help. Jaime was the second wedding planner we met with and we knew 5 minutes into the meeting she was the one. She is patient, understanding, organized and will never tell you no, regardless of how insane your comment is, she will always say "we can try" ( I heard that a lot). She understands that this is your day and your vision and her job is do whatever she needs to in order to make it come to life. From recommending and handling vendors to reviewing rental orders and catching mistakes, to making you appointment schedules with lunchtime built in - she literally thinks of everything and is on top of every single detail. Jaime and her team made our wedding day seamless so much so that my bridesmaids even commented on how they wished their days had gone more like mine and that they had hired a planner. I'm sure a million things went wrong but had no idea, we even had to implement our rain plan last minute and my day could not have been more perfect. Jaime and her team allowed me to focus on getting married and not worry about the details. In addition to being amazing at what she does she is also an incredible person and someone you want around you. She truly cares about and loves every one of her brides and it is obvious from the minute you meet her. My husband and I still say that hiring Jaime was one of the best decisions we made and was worth every single penny.

Jaime planned my son’s wedding from beginning to end. The bride and groom live out of state and their demanding job/school commitments would have made planning their RI wedding difficult and stressful if it weren’t for the most amazing wedding planner ever! I can not say enough good words about Jaime and I truly do not know where to start in writing this review. We worked with her in the past for my sister's wedding and found her to be one of the best vendors we could have had! As soon as I got engaged we knew we had to contact her and book! She is so approachable and strikes the perfect balance of warmth, professionalism and efficiency. We live in Ct but were planning our big day to include a church ceremony and reception at Rosecliff. I consider myself a pretty organized person but it can get somewhat overwhelming coordinating with so many vendors, especially when out of town. I should not have been surprised by this, but each and every one of my vendors had worked with her in the past and praised her. I used her for the "day of package" but really I consulted her all along the planning process and found her input to be invaluable. She created a timeline that highlighted all important time frames/contact information and confirmed all of this info with my vendors in the days leading up to my wedding. Tasks that she did for the actual day of included basically running the rehearsal, setting up and breaking down decorations in the church, coordinating transportation between 2 different hotel blocks, picking up and delivering food to both my fiancé and I and acting as the liaison between vendors. She gives realistic advice, keeps your budget in mind and does anything she can to make your vision a reality-all with a smile on her face! I did not even carry my phone with me that day nor did my sisters and Mom-all contact went through Jaime and it went off flawlessly. She truly provided a sense of ease that is so important to have in order to enjoy yourself. Jaime, thank you again for everything!

Look no further! Jaime Nelson is the wedding planner you want. My husband and I worked with Jaime for about 14 months in planning our October wedding in Newport. Working with Jaime is like working with a friend from her fun personality to her ability to give straight forward feedback and guidance. We live in New York so it was great to have her on the ground in RI and her network to work with. She provided us with a range of options across venues, bands, stylists, photographers etc. She was objective but straight-forward with her assessment of the different options and I never felt she was pushing me in one direction or the other - unless I asked for it. She set up our appointments with the vendors, helped with questions and keep us on track from a timeline perspective. All of the vendors we ended up working with were fantastic as well - a testament to Jaime's relationships, her expectations and taste! When the big weekend arrived she had her game face on! She was calm and collected but you could tell she was ready and alert to jump on anything that might come up. When the strap on my dress snapped about 10 minutes before the ceremony she said "let me go get my kit" with a similar calm as if she had just said "let me go grab a coffee". I was able to just stand there sipping champagne and chatting with my bridesmaids while she sewed me into my dress as if she did this everyday. Ultimately, we knew we could relax and enjoy our friends and family during our wedding weekend because there was no doubt she had everything taken care of.

Jaime really helped us have the best day of our lives. She has the right balance of patient listening but also is not afraid to tell an insistent bride (like myself) on how I may be able to achieve what I want by considering alternative methods. Our fusion (Indian and America) wedding was definitely complicated, but Jaime and her team ensured that both cultures were integrated throughout all elements of the wedding. Prior to the wedding, Jaime and her team came to my house to go through all of the wedding decor and discuss all of the details of our day. On the day of the wedding, they made sure that everything was on time and in its place. They made all of our guests feel welcome and comfortable and were extremely attentive to my needs. I would definitely recommend Eventfully Planned to any bride who is looking for a truly professional company who is 100% focused on YOUR needs and happiness.

We brought Jaime on about 6 weeks before the wedding. We had never thought of needing a planner, but 6 weeks out we decided it would be worth the piece of mind. Jaime did a fantastic job. She is extremely organized, calm, friendly, did what she said, and had great ideas. We were concerned about spending the money...but it turned out to be absolutely worth it. The day of the wedding, Jaime brought two people to help coordinate. I felt very supported and like I could just be present to the party! Jaime is an amazing wedding planner! I had a very good feeling about her after our initial phone conversation and once I met her in person I knew I had made the right choice. I do not live in RI, so most of my interaction with her took place over email and through phone conversations and texts. She picked up immediately on the type of person I am and the over all feeling that I wanted our wedding to have. She found vendors for me and was open to all my own ideas and suggestions for vendors as well. She helped put my budget together and helped me keep it in check. She was 100% available for me, even when I had a mild melt down at 11:20 one evening! I could not have gotten through the process without her and whenever anyone would wonder why my planning was going so smoothly I had to give all the credit to Jaime. Our wedding was absolutely perfect!! In our opinion there was nothing out of place and nothing went wrong; if it did, we never knew! It is impossible to sum up Jaime and our experience with Eventfully Planned in a small paragraph. My now husband and I hired Jaime two years prior to our wedding. Beside being an organized, genuine, and overall great person, Jaime was the essential part of the days leading up to our wedding. She seamlessly ran our rehearsal and allowed me to bring in a rediculous amount of decor to our venue. She worked in tandem with our venue (The Hope Club in Providence) to make the entire wedding day flow like I had only dreamed. She and Hadley (her assistant) were there every step of the way in the big day. They handled everything from the timeline to the smallest details of decor placement and wedding party organization. We have told everyone that Jaime was the smartest and best decision we made for our wedding. She assembled the most spectacular team of people and gave us the family-oriented party we were hoping for. Eventfully Planned is the best!

Jaime worked with me for a year planning our wedding, which took place about in late September in Massachusetts. The wedding was a challenge - it took place in a raw field next to an old, drafty New England house that offered nothing in terms of infrastructure or support for the event. We had to set up everything - bathrooms, tent, electricity, bar - the whole nine yards. Plus, the ceremony was at a different site altogether. I also wanted a few a-typical features in my wedding, like a New Orleans second-line wedding parade from the ceremony site to the reception, an off-season bonfire, and a pool party in 50 degree weather the night before the wedding. The seasons were changing, and we had no idea what the weather was going to be like, so we had to prepare for a lot of scenarios. Jaime held everything together like glue. She is brilliant and has a mind for details like a steel trap. She also had a ton of creative ideas and solutions when I was stumped or panicked by an obstacle. Best of all, she was totally calm and even-keeled during the whole process, which was so important to me. I have been in weddings where the planner is as stressed as the bride, and it's unpleasant for everyone. Jaime is the definition of grace under fire, and helped my husband and I pull off the weird and beautiful wedding of our dreams! And a bonus, she is very reasonably priced and saved us a ton of money in the mistakes we would have made trying to hold an event with no experience! I couldn't recommend her more. Please work with her!

I honestly cannot write enough amazing things about working with Jaime. Deciding to bring her on board as our wedding coordinator was the best decision I made in the wedding process for sure. I was really wavering between hiring someone for day of or for the entire process and I cannot imagine having gotten through the process without Jaime. Jaime has a perfect combination of being extremely organized and professional mixed with kindness and warmth. She went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed throughout the process and she always found a way to be available through texts or emails when I needed her. Jaime is great at reading a situation and can tell when I was feeling overwhelmed or concerned about a particular vendor or meeting. She takes care of her clients throughout the process making sure you are comfortable and will be happy with your choices. Anytime I was concerned about a situation leading up to the wedding I was able to relax knowing Jaime was probably already taking care of it or had it on a list. Since I am very Type A it can be hard for me to give up control, but Jaime was the one person I absolutely trusted to take care of everything. We got married on Block Island and Jaime had never done a wedding there before, but I could immediately tell this would not be a problem since she had already researched the island before our first call. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and every vendor said how lovely it was to work with Jaime. Jaime and I were both sad my wedding was going to end and we would be stopping working together because we got along so well. She is such a wonderful planner and a lovely person and was so important to me in the past year.

I hired Jaime Nelson of Eventfully Planned for my daughter's wedding at Rosecliff. She was my right arm for an entire year thru all wedding preparation and the wedding weekend including rehearsal dinner and morning after brunch! Jaime is worth her weight in GOLD! I can't say enough good things about Jamie! Without getting into details I already fired one wedding planner before her and spoke with several others. As soon as I spoke with Jamie I knew I found the right person. Jamie is like your best friend, your sanity, and your answer to everything leading up to the wedding. Being a Taurus and an only child I can be difficult. Anyone who knows me knows I don't deal with bs and I can be hard to please, okay very hard to please. Jamie did an excellent job. She really can get along with anyone and knows how to deal with every person and situation that arises. She is so organized and quick to come up with solutions. Even though I only had her for the wknd of she made me feel welcome to call her whenever I needed. Text, email, phone, or in person meeting- she would do it. I had no problem handing over all the control to her because I knew I was in good hands with her and I sure was! She didn't miss a beat- from bringing us champagne, water, and food in our hotel room, to driving back and forth from venue to hotel on the day of just bc she could hear in my voice I needed some piece of mind, to figuring and executing transportation for 130+ guest staying at about half a dozen different hotels, she did it all. She will help you as much or as little as you want and can take on as much or as little as you want her too. I really can't say enough great things about her. If you need an extra hand or an extra ten hands, she's the one to call. She's sweet, she's fun, she's smart, organized and so on top of things. She will make you feel like you are the only wedding she has and you are the most important person to her at that time. And now that the wedding is over I'm ready to hang out as friends bc she is an AWESOME person to be around!

Jaime was an essential part of our wedding planning and our wedding day. She was willing to help in all ways possible-- coordinating vendor meetings, keeping track of outstanding invoices, creating wedding day timelines and more.
