Events at Haven is an industrial chic wedding venue located in the Lakeview District of Birmingham, AL. This event is set in a 1924 building that once housed the Mack Truck Company and a variety of automotive and industrial operations. In 2014, the owners began renovating the premises to show off its classic beauty along with contemporary touches. This expansive venue has 20,000 square feet of space available for events with a maximum capacity of 1,100 people. This large area can be partitioned with drapes and piping for more intimate occasions. Any event will enjoy abundant natural light through skylights and large windows. A permanent bar facilitates bartending for any event, and a get-ready room with a private restroom allows you to relax and prepare for your big day. Events at Haven guests will get to enjoy unique restrooms while vendors can make use of overhead doors. An Events at Haven employee will be on-site when your celebration is due to start to receive deliveries, manage setup and breakdown, and secure the facilities when the end time comes around. Full in-house audio-visual services will be available, including professional stage lighting, a stage, and an on-site director. Catering can be done by approved vendors.

This was the perfect spot for our ceremony and reception. The location was convenient (although street parking isn't ideal) and there was plenty of room for the entire night. Thankful we added additional lighting for the reception since the room is so large. We had so many people compliment the layout and venue itself! Very grateful we found them.

My experience with-this venue was horrible!! It was the worst part of planning my wedding. The lack of communication skills from the general manager is horrible and the events coordinator Jackie Rowell was very rude on every instance that I had to deal with her! Out of all the things that my guests complained about at my wedding it was Jackie! This venue almost made me feel like they wanted to see my event fail in the end, because of a liquor license scuffle that I won! It was a really horrible experience; not to mention that they are nearly a 5k venue and the amenities they offer are very scarce & things that shouldn’t be included suddenly become an extra charge unless you are dealing with one of their “vendor friends”!! Just overall horrible experience!!!! If I could this would be an zero star rating!
