with grace. She is a true professional and a pleasure to deal with. She was able to keep me calm, put me at ease and remind me that ultimately this was "our day" and we should be able to enjoy it. With Emily by our side, we were certainly able to do that. I can't thank her enough for all that she was able to do for us. I only wish that I had more events to plan, so that I could spend more time with her.

be done the day of, I was overwhelmed. During our first conversation, I felt so comfortable with Emily and knew that she could manage anything that came her way on the wedding day. She exceeded ALL expectations. Two months, or so, out from the wedding, she helped me get in contact with vendors I was having a hard time reaching, she verified all of our contracts, she planned our timeline for the day and added notes into the schedule where applicable. On the actual day of the wedding, she supported my husband and I in so many parts of the day. She made sure we were on schedule, she helped coordinate our transportation for guests, she made sure that all of the decor items were out and in the right place, she helped us coordinate our first look (and made sure we didn’t see each other before!), and more! I even remember during the wedding reception I had enough of my heels so I took them off and before I could even take my next step, she was at my side asking if I wanted to change into my other pair. I felt zero stress on my wedding day because I knew she and her assistant Courtney were there and able to help me with anything that came our way. I truly couldn’t recommend her enough!!

Peter even steamed all the bridesmaids dresses as the girls were getting ready!! Their bag of tricks even had black duct tape, which saved the day when the shoes of the father of the bride came apart right before the wedding! ed our timeline with the venue & band, shared it with all of our vendors, prompted us with questions about the flow of the day we hadn't considered, and provided software to create different seating charts. About a week prior, I thought we might be without a piano player for the ceremony - Emily provided a pianist's contact information within under an hour of me reaching out to her! We did a pre-wedding walkthrough of the ceremony venue where Emily seamlessly navigated multiple directives coming from myself, my mom & my aunt (not an easy task!). Paulina oversaw the rehearsal & ensured everything we had discussed, and a few things that had changed, were communicated to wedding participants. And that's just the lead up to the actual day of coordination work!! I definitely underestimated the amount of "could go wrongs" for getting ready morning. When Emily at first mentioned that she would be there while we were getting ready, I didn't think that was necessary. But, I'm SO GLAD they were. Every little thing that came up that would have caused an immense amount of stress if left to me, my mom, sister & bridesmaids was handled quickly, calmly and seamlessly by Emily and/or Paulina. For instance - we had a few charms to be pinned inside my dress / onto my bouquet. I misplaced my perfume. Two floral arrangements needed to be brought to the church. The readings for our ceremony needed to be distributed to readers and brought to the church. The bottom of my dress needed to be steamed. My mom did not like her hair and Emily fixed it (remember this - it's not the only time it happened!!). There was an issue with seating that came up beforehand at the venue and we needed to swap someone's table. They even had fashion tape to secure my mom's dress! Throughout our photos, Emily arranged & fixed my dress & bouquet. She held my phone, perfume & lip gloss in her bag. She was critical in helping get video of our toasts, she coordinated a surprise flash mob with the band, venue & my sister seamlessly by sneakily getting it worked into the timeline and even fixed my cousin's girlfriend's dress (I found that out later). When my updo fell out, Emily redid my bun beautifully in time for our first dance (in under 10 minutes)!!  She then transformed it into the perfect party pony (while I was eating dinner!!!) And hairdresser was definitely not part of the job description :) Our primary reason for hiring a day of coordinator was to coordinate transportation, and they did a great job with that, but that doesn't even begin to touch on how they impacted our day overall. I could list what Emily & Paulina helped us with probably for forever - but the point is - on your wedding day it's not a question of IF anything will go wrong - some things WILL go wrong. And most of those things won't matter in the long run, but having Emily & Paulina there to handle it made all of those moments (on a WIDE variety of topics) much less stressful. They were wonderful to work with, calm, cool and collected, professional, experienced, prepared, understanding of our priorities and willing to go above and beyond. I would highly recommend Events by Emily, and if I am ever in search of a coordinator in the future, you will absolutely be my first choice!!! Thank you for making our day as amazing as it was!! 

s covered. She helped us develop our timeline and made sure all the vendors were on the same page before the event. The day before our wedding, during our rehearsal, we learned the general manager/venue coordinator left but we didn't worry since we had Emily that knew everything that would be needed for the day. She made sure everything was setup correctly and even put up some flower pieces that were pre made for us. Emily even moved some pieces after the ceremony to the reception area to ensure everything was in the right place. During our photos before the ceremony Emily had so many items to help us out like a fan, eyedrops, bobby pins and so much more for any accident that may occur. During the wedding she ensured everything was moving along smoothly and that we had anything we needed at all times. She even helped hand out the tips at the end of the night so my wife and I could keep partying. She truly made our day perfect and I could not recommend her enough for anyone that needs a coordinator.

meone quite like her. She is so attentive, organized, calm, collected, and brings an overall peacefulness to your day and all the days leading up to it. She went to all of my vendor appts with me, and took care of all the small details I didn’t even think about myself. Her work is just outstanding and I will recommend her services to everyone, forever! I couldn’t have done it without her. Beyond helpful. 10000/10.

r way. She had answers to every single question we had and even had an emergency kit which DEFINITELY came in handy multiple times. Whenever we weren’t sure about something, she handled it quickly. She even checked us into our hotel room and moved all of our items from our “getting ready” room into our room so we could stay at our reception and dance. I couldn’t be more happy that we had Emily with us - I don’t think we would have had such a perfect day without her. She bustled my dresses, helped with our photography, made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night and helped pack up all of our decorations. She even kept me calm when I was nervous before the ceremony and made sure I ate and drank water throughout the day. We had an issue with our band announcing our speeches and before I could even ask Emily to speak with the band, she was already on it! These are just a handful of things she helped us with on our wedding day - I could name about 100 more. I seriously can’t recommend her enough. She will make your wedding day absolutely perfect from start to finish, so you can just sit back and soak it all in. You can truly tell that she cares so much about you enjoying and having fun on your wedding day. Book her!!!! You will NOT regret it. Thank you SO much Emily!!!!

We can easily throw a wedding but the question was “would I be able to be present/fully enjoying the day and not to stress about the timeline??” That was where I was worried. *Insert* Emily from Events by Emily… she was our FAIRY GODMOTHER. She grasped our vision/plans for the day quickly prior to the wedding so I was SO confident in her help to execute the day just as I had planned for the last 12 months. She floated through the day with tremendous professionalism and a sweet calm that allowed us all (me, my husband, family and bridal party) to relax and enjoy all the wonderful parts of the wedding day! ALSO - she’s a former Ryland Inn bride herself! Bonus!!! The whole wedding day I didn’t look at a clock once (!!) or stress about anything! My worries completely vanished! She went above and beyond to make our special day flow sooo smoothly and EASILY. She was always 2 steps ahead with everything and anything we could have needed AND with a smile on her face.
