Especially for the 3 months leading up to the big day, she handled it all - phone calls, vendor meetings, coordination, final meetings, set up, design... you name it. And our wedding day itself was a dream. If anything wasn't according to plan, I had no idea. It was seamless. And, when people were too busy dancing to use our photo area, her team was on the dance floor, additional polaroid cameras in hand. Events by Emily genuinely gave us a dream come true.

Emily went above and beyond for me in so many ways and i am so grateful to have hired her. She also brought with her so many amazing vendor recommendations that made our day even more special. On our wedding day, she made sure i had not a single care in the world except to get married. I was absolutely in tears when i did my first look at the venue after everything had been set up - it was more perfect than i could have imagined. Every flower, pearl, and bow was placed perfectly by her team and she spent the entire evening making sure i had everything i needed. If anything did go wrong on that day, i had absolutely no clue because Emily had it handled. She is worth so much more than what she charges for her services. She is such a sweet person and so easy to talk to. If you want to have an absolutely perfect day - BOOK WITH HER! You will have absolutely no regrets and i almost wish my husband and i could have another wedding just so i could book Emily earlier to plan it!

How you know she is good, my wife and I have said over and over again 'Our wedding was PERFECT'. Everything went smoothly. Her extra touches made our night. We had the best time and enjoyed ourselves.

Emily coordinated SO much for us behind the scenes and took a TON of stress off of our plates. Emily was also helpful with little questions that don’t come up until you’re planning a wedding, like the order of the first dance/cake cutting/etc. The day of the wedding was an absolute breeze and Emily and her team did an incredible job to make everything run smoothly! They made sure we had cocktails (and lots of water since it was a hot day), as well as appetizers so we didn’t miss out. Overall, working with Emily and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day, and we loved working with her!

Emily is the absolute best and the absolute real deal. She became a true friend throughout the process and I will miss her now that our wedding is over! I cannot say enough great things about Emily. After interviewing numerous companies, Event’s by Emily was my obvious choice for multiple reasons. The biggest reason being that I could tell with just speaking to Emily, I wasn’t going to just be another number. So many of these companies have super high prices for bare minimum services and if you aren’t having a 250+ person wedding and aren’t spending over 10K in florals you tend to get put on the backburner. This team also has great relationships with many vendors in the city which helps a lot when it comes to quality vendor recommendations. Lastly as most bride alums know, things will go wrong and there will be fires to put out on the day of the wedding. Events by Emily knows how to handle those roadblocks with grace and efficiency so well that you wont really realize the day of. Emily is extremely diligent, personal, and knowledgeable about the industry. These are all of the attributes I hoped to have in a planner and I got those and much more. Emily has become a friend and someone I can trust will deliver. She was able to take my vision (and budget) and transform it into the intimate and luxurious wedding I dreamed of. I will be ever thankful for Emily and her team.

ven if it was a bit less formal than the typical wedding event. Before the wedding, they called all of my vendors and even caught an issue with one of the ones I had booked prior to hiring them. On the day of, I was shocked at how little I had to worry about -- there were a ton of small details they had sewed up while I was getting ready, they made the ceremony and reception incredibly smooth. At the end of the night, they made the wrap up extremely low stress and were super helpful. Thank you!!

This allowed my whole day to run seamlessly! Day of- Lauren and Hannah displayed professionalism and the most gorgeous set up (including an epic cookie table). I could not have asked for more. Events by Emily allows you to feel like you have a built in bestie throughout the wedding planning process to take the stress away! Can’t recommend enough!

so helpful from the moment we started working together. When it came to our wedding day, my husband and I had to worry about absolutely nothing. My mom, matron of honor, bridesmaids, and I got to spend the entire time before the ceremony relaxing and taking pictures, instead of worrying about what needed to be done. Emily and Melissa made sure that our day ran so smoothly. After our ceremony, Melissa chased us around with a plate of our cocktail hour appetizers to make sure we ate, while Emily took all of our ceremony flowers from the arch and chairs and repurposed them as decorations inside for our reception. May I add that our ceremony was outside, and they did all of this in the rain as well! While my husband and I were dancing the night away, Emily and Melissa grabbed our keys and packed literally EVERYTHING into our cars for us so all we had to do was say our goodbyes and head home. Emily was truly incredible to work with and made our wedding day totally stress free. If you are looking to hire a wedding planner or even just a day of coordinator, I highly recommend choosing Events by Emily!

We actually hired Emily as a “day of coordinator” which she explained is more like month of, but regardless, definitely not a whole planner (for what we hired her for). However, I was texting and calling Emily for almost 2 years leading up to my wedding and she never gave me an issue. She is so polite and understanding. She is so talented and professional. I am a very in control type of person and knew how I wanted things to be, and I really didn’t have to tell Emily much. When I arrived on site to the venue, she had things set up almost exactly how I imagined them being. She made sure the day ran as smoothly as possible and it sure did! If anything went wrong, I wasn’t aware of it because she handled pretty much everything. Coming toward the end of the night, Emily came to me and told me she cleaned up all of the tables, put all of the signage and decor all together, and cleaned up our bridal suite, therefore there wasn’t much, if anything at all for us to clean up. I was shocked because I didn’t expect her to do that. She really goes above and beyond for her clients. Her talent, advice, opinions, friendliness, professionalism, everything is just amazing. You seriously can not go wrong in hiring Emily and her team to help you with your big day!

She also stays up to date with all things wedding/trends and really knows how to tie in key elements to bring your aesthetic to life! Not to mention she has built quite the community of relationships/top notch vendors to work with should you need any support in that area! I could go on and on but we truly had the most beautiful and perfectly executed day thanks to her, and we would highly recommend Events by Emily! 10/10 would do it all over again and have her by our side every step of the way!

but from the get go I was pretty hesitant with this idea. So I started researching wedding planners/day of coordinators on the side, just as a back up in case we changed our minds. As our wedding day approached I started to realize more and more how much we really needed someone outside of our friends and family to help us get things organized. I had been following Emily on Instagram for a while and decided to reach out. From the beginning Emily was super friendly and helpful and I pretty much immediately knew we needed her for our wedding day. I am so so sooooo glad we hired her. She was instrumental in helping us to get things set up, figuring out our timeline, reaching out and confirming vendors setting up/drop off times, setting up our wedding day decor, helping us with our rehearsal (which we would have royally messed up without her) among many many other things. Our wedding day was honestly one of the best days of our lives and I am 1000% sure that it wouldn't have been any where near as good if we wouldn't have had Emily's help. Out of all the things you may need on your wedding day, a wedding planner or day of coordinator is definitely someone you should consider bringing on. Emily and her team handled coordinating all of the vendors, arranging table scapes, pouring champagne, bustling my dress, amongst many many other things that I'm probably not even aware of! She even delivered my cake stand to the baker while I was on my honeymoon!! Thanks to Emily and her team I was able to enjoy my big day to the fullest extent, and I cannot thank them enough!

We did not initially intend on hiring a coordinator, but after 2 years of being engaged something made us change our minds and I’m so glad we did. We spoke with multiple planners/coordinators but we were immediately drawn to the warmth and passion that radiates from Emily, even through the phone. Emily was a huge asset in coordinating with our vendors. I loved that she could be candid with us about annoyances we were feeling, and then extremely professional and kind in any emails that went out to address those issues. I will be honest and say I had big dreams for my wedding decor, and in my head it was perfect. But in a way I think I may have given her a puzzle that only showed her half the picture. I had many family members who were assisting with set up tell me how impressed they were with her. She adapted when things were missing and assigned someone to run to the store, and in the end everything ended up exactly where it was supposed to. All of that is amazing, but what impressed me the most is how compassionately Emily handled the big upsets that happened on our wedding day. We had quite a few surprises day of and Emily handled the situation with so much grace. She did everything she could to remedy a problem she could have never prevented, and always made us feel validated and supported. I can’t recommend Emily enough, and if you’re on the fence definitely trust her with your day!!

I chatted with Emily, she is so nice, easy going, supportive and great with communication. Having someone set up the ceremony and reception was my number one concern. I've done everything myself to this point but couldn't spend the morning of bringing my vision to life. Cue Emily--- she was ready to make the magic happen. Now, I'm a control freak and insisted on making Emily a scrapbook detailing my vision for the venue. Emily took my book and nailed the presentation of my decorations. What I had dreamed of was a reality. I did not however dream of the sudden and severe thunderstorm that rolled through Pittsburgh two hours before "I Do!". Being an outside in July wedding, weather was always going to be a worry but it didn't stop a thing! Emily had to do some cleaning up and redecorating but everything was still perfect when the music started playing and the guests arrived. Not only did Emily decorate twice but she handled all of my vendor communications the entire month before my wedding. She ensured everyone was going to be where they needed to be and getting what needed done, done. Did I mention Emily is an amazing hype girl and support system too?! Because, she is! She was there for texts, emails, the venue walk through, the rehearsal, and the big day! So, to sum this all up. Yes, you need the extra help. Yes, it's worth it. It is 100% because of Emily that our wedding day went off without a hitch. While we were a little bit busy getting ready on our wedding day, our parents told us Emily was NON STOP running around day of making sure we didn't see any mishaps or deal with any vendors or anything. The ceremony, reception hall, cocktail hour area...all of it was set up EXACTLY how we planned. Emily was a godsend and we're so glad we didn't settle on the first few planners we talked to - she really, truly cares about what she does and has a passion for weddings. You will not regret hiring Emily for your special day, she will work tirelessly to ensure it truly is everything you planned it to be.
