It was a pleasure working with Jill and Alex at I. Candy. While I only needed to rent vases, I could tell they had many wonderful decor items. The process was easy and efficient! And they helped me decide on what size/what item would be best!

Jill and Alex did an amazing job for our daughter’s wedding! The flowers were absolutely stunning and exactly what my daughter wanted! We were able to get all the decor in one place and it was stunning! Their creativity, professionalism and communication are second to none! I trusted that their vision latched ours, and we were thrilled the results! Our daughter definitely had her dream day thanks to I Candy!

They did an amazing job! They were very responsive and accommodating throughout the process. We had them decorate practically our entire wedding, and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined. We paid enough to have set up and tear down included, definitely was worth it.

Jill and her team were so amazing to work with. They are knowledgeable about the different venues around West Michigan and are able to envision what works best in the space. We found Jill and her team in the last month of our preparations for our son's small "simple" wedding. We needed lots of the "little" things and they helped us with selection, quantity and talked us through all our questions. They were kind and very responsive to our needs and super convenient to pick up and drop off. We wish we had known about them earlier in the process. Thankfully we have three more children to marry off and they will be one of the first vendors we call.

Jill and her team at Events by I. Candy is simply the best. We wish we would have found them earlier, so they could have full service for our wedding. However, we were lucky enough to have them for our wedding invitations, stationary needs, and reception decor. Jill is a pro and knows exactly what you want and need, often even more than we did. Additionally, we got to work with Donna on all our invitations and stationary needs for the reception. Donna is an amazing graphic designer. She is also accommodating, creative, and most importantly quick turnaround time on emails. Events by I. Candy is the best of the best in the area. You can't go wrong if you hire them to help out with just a small part of your event, or the entire wedding. Would definitely recommend to any friend or family member.

The variety of rental items is amazing. Very good to work with and flexible if changing numbers of items is needed. Also, very helpful with selecting the pieces to go together nicely.

Extremely convenient, easy, and straightforward. Jill and her team were considerate, organized, and created a beautiful set of florals and centerpieces that complemented our venue perfectly. Highly recommend!

Great selection and quality, and very easy to work with!

We used Events by I. Candy because we saw their stunning tables and decor in another wedding, so we knew we wanted to rent from them as well! I am SO happy we made this choice. Jill was great to work with, responsive, and detail oriented. She saw our vision and delivered it. We rented chairs, tables, pergolas, and other small decor from them. I absolutely recommend working with this company! Great people!

My husband & I rented chairs & an arbor for our wedding. Everything arrived on time & in great condition. Communication was great & I was very very pleased with the services provided!

I rented some items for our dessert table, a large arch way and easels. For the most part my experience was good, their warehouse is so awesome and inspiring. It did take a few days to get back emails and prices. It was a little frustrating renting such a large arch, they didn't have any drop off or pickup service so I had to borrow a vehicle to fit it. During pickup they sent me with pins and zipties because pins were missing. They also couldn't really tell me how to assemble it, they drew me a picture on a sticky note. Thankfully my husband is very handy and was able to figure it out.

I am so happy to review Events by I. Candy with a 5 out of 5 rating for our June.2022 event! Working with Jill, Alex, and Donna was a wonderful experience. As a first time Mother of the Bride, I was a bit fearful about planning such a big event. Jill is a pro! She calmed my, my husband's, and my daughter's fears, then walked us through the process. She knew how to accurately zone in on our likes/dislikes and artfully transform our wishes into a beautiful and stress-free ceremony and reception that smoothly ran from start to finish. We contracted for all floral, (both live blooms and faux), table decor with table numbers, chair rental, cake accents, menu printing, and seating chart printing. We opted to pay a separate fee for delivery, setup, and takedown of everything which was definitely worth it, believe me! We also had I. Candy construct a lovely personalized wall hanging for the bride and groom which hung on the boxwood greenery wall that we rented. After the wedding, our daughter and new son-in-law could take this wall hanging with them to display at their home. Everything that was promised, was granted, and even more was delivered by Jill and Alex's excellent staff. We will definitely seek out Events by I. Candy's services again in the future whenever we have a need!

Jill and Alex did an incredible job making our wedding vision come to life! We used them for rentals and floral, and everything looked perfect. They were willing to create or design anything we wanted and were accommodating with any changes we made. We appreciated their attention to detail and would highly recommend them for your wedding day!

iCandy did a phenomenal job setting up and tearing down the decorations for our wedding and made the floral requests exactly how we wanted it. Jill worked with us to stay within a tight budget and also gave us the confidence we needed to pull our wedding together. She pumped us up for the big day and also put us at ease knowing she was there to help us with whatever we needed. We ended up needing to add extra items a few weeks before the wedding and she was able to get us everything we needed. They communicated well with us, and our day went off absolutely perfectly!

Jill and Alex go out of their way to make your day beautiful! I have used Events by I.Candy for all 4 of my daughter's weddings both ceremony and reception. They will tailor your decor to fit your budget and take the stress out of your day with set up and clean up for a fee, which is worth it to me! Jill will make sure that every detail is accounted for. She can also print your seating chart, table numbers, etc. They think of everything!

I used I.Candy for my New Years Eve wedding and they did an outstanding job. Having someone decorate your wedding is never cheap, but the relief of me or my family not having to set up or tear down was worth every penny. I even had multiple add-ons that they had no issue with and made work for what I was looking for.

Jill helped us from start to finish and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped us bring all of our visions to life with her attention to detail and ability to communicate through all of the possible options. Her and the team at I Candy helped with rentals, floral, and invitations and they truly made the process fun. Favorite vendor ever! I knew it was meant to be when it was a mother daughter duo with the mom’s name as my own, Jill! I knew going into wedding planning that I wanted to be as hands off as possible regarding setup and tear down and I had no worries that Jill and her team wouldn’t deliver!! We were able to go to their warehouse to pick a style of decor that I liked and even see sample bouquets to get an idea on what everything would look like. Jill moved so quick and knew what she was doing it was so reassuring! Jill was calm and reassuring during the whole COVID process as well. We chose to save money by doing silk flowers and they were BEAUTIFUL! All of our guests thought they were real! Thank you for being the peace of mind and backbone to my beautiful wedding :)

Events by I. Candy went above and beyond for us when it came to my daughters wedding & reception. I had a lot of last minute requests and they went above and beyond to help fit our needs. I not only used them for all of our centerpieces/head table decor but programs and menus as well (which were BEAUTIFUL). They were quick to respond to any questions that I had. I highly recommend them!!

I was initially supposed to have a September wedding until COVID changed the world. My husband and I moved our wedding to April 2021 and changed our venues to one that felt more intimate for a reduced guest list. iCandy was very flexible with us pushing our wedding date out. I also live on the opposite side of the state but was having a West Michigan wedding. Jill was willing to meet me on a weekend when I was in the area to go over our changes because it was more convenient for my schedule. Our original theme was copper, white, and lots of greenery. We originally had a 220 person guest list, so we needed to keep the floral minimal because of the wedding budget. So we decided to go with a modern minimalist theme that I know they would have made look so chic. After moving the wedding for a reduced guest count, however, COVID made me crave a bright, colorful event that felt joyful. Jill took all of my ideas and made them BETTER than I could have ever imagined! She and the iCandy team made our wedding feel like an English garden fairy tale. They gave me the wedding I would never have been able to afford with our original guest count. I could tell Jill genuinely cared about us, and they all put their hearts into their work. It was utterly stunning! I can’t thank her and the team enough for making my bridal dreams come true.

Our wedding planner, Tanya Lynette Events, had introduced us to I. Candy to achieve the look we were trying to achieve for our outdoor wedding/reception. We went with a white bar & gold bar back, needless to say, the items turned out beautiful! Jill was such an easy to work with too!

Jill and her crew were wonderful to work with!! They listened to us and worked with our ideas to make our daughters wedding magical! Doing a covid wedding is not easy and changes needed to be made, Jill worked with us and always helped us through all the changes. From the very first "inquiry call" to Events by I. Candy we experienced care and interest in our wedding allowing us to feel we were in good hands. We rented 180 Brown Chiavari Chairs with added chair covers. While working with Jill, every phone call, showroom visit as well as the final set-up and tear down were handled with genuine advice, concern, professionalism and accuracy. Our wedding looked like a scene from a movie because of Events by I. Candy. Never in a million years could I have imagined a wedding more romantic or elegant. We had hundreds of white cherry blossoms in glass vases lining the aisle, a gold accented champagne wall, and a custom built art installation. Jill & her team made my dream wedding a reality. There is no other company that could ever compare to their attentiveness and can do attitude. In my opinion, other event companies lack the ability to realize that this is more than a business transaction, it is one of the biggest moments in someone's life. Events by I. Candy, made us feel like we were more than just another couple throwing a wedding, they actually cared about our budget, our vision, and happiness. If you want your day to look perfect without having to worry about a thing, hire Events by I. Candy, it was one of the best decisions we made.

How do I say this in so few words; there are others in Grand Rapids whom are more known, others with more presence (hotel stores, downtown, etc.), but those who do not use Jill and crew, will one day come to realize they probably made a mistake as many did at our wedding. Have an idea of what you want, and have an open mind. If you can handle those two things like we could, then you will see Alchemy in action. Proof is in the pudding, when you have 210 people at Cascade Hills Country Club telling you things like, "Can we have a groundhog day of your wedding" OR "that was absolutely the most beautiful wedding set up I have ever seen from anyone in Grand Rapids Michigan to San Diego California" OR "your friend whom won on the bachelor, her budget was over a million dollars for decorations, and these rivaled those!!"..... Bottom line, I won't lie, lots and lots of good people in Grand Rapids for this stuff, HOWEVER, if you want over and above, then look no further. Perfection has arrived. Bow down before Jill and Crew :-)

We had a wonderful experience working with I. Candy. From our very first visit, Jill understood exactly the feel and design we were going for. I had a hard time putting my ideas to words, but Jill designed centerpieces and ceremony/reception decor in a way that fit us perfectly. We were so happy with the decorations and floral that Jill and Alex put together for us. We gave them a price, and they were able to put together decorations that were beyond anything I could have imagined. Jill thought of everything, and Alex's floral arrangements were more beautiful that I could have ever imagined. I. Candy accommodated us living out of state by talking on the phone, FaceTiming and making evening appointments. They took the stress out of the wedding day by setting everything up and tearing everything down. On the wedding day, I noticed small decorations at the venue that we hadn't even asked for, and I could tell I. Candy just wanted to make the whole room perfect. I. Candy may be a little more expensive than other options, but they went above and beyond anything we could have asked for. We would definitely recommend Jill and Alex at I. Candy.

Jill and her team were so great to work with! They took my vision and created something even better than I could have imagined, and they made sure everything was just the way I wanted it to be before they moved forward. I used silk floral, and no one could believe they weren't real, they were just so beautiful! I loved that they set up and tore down- one less thing for me to worry about!

Events by icandy was so awesome for renting our centerpieces and bouquets for our wedding! We did silk flowers and they looked so real and pretty! The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was because we had one appointment they forgot about. Luckily they were in the showroom that weekend but we drove two hours to get to our appointment and if they hadn’t been there, it would’ve been very frustrating. However they did accommodate us that day even though they forgot. I would also mention to read the fine print! They did a great job with everything but we didn’t realize we had to clean the candle wax out of the glass cylinders to avoid a cleaning charge. Just keep that in mind if you’re leaving for a honeymoon the next day! Overall we were happy with them though and would recommend them to others!

I Candy executed beyond my dreams! I was the bride with a vision in her head but couldn’t put in into words, which makes it tough on vendors. I Candy was able to take the bits and pieces I gave them and turned it into a masterpiece. I decided fresh florals on tables and for ALL of the bouquets including the bridesmaids and WOW those were the biggest bouquets ever!!! The fresh floral on the table were full and beautiful. I did not feel as if I got cheated when working with them and I also felt that I got individual attention at each appointment. I HIGHLY recommend I Candy, it’s worth EVERY penny spent.

Working with Events By Icandy was such a great experience. Jill and Alex are incredibly talented and have fantastic insight and vision for floral and design. They made my wedding day absolutely perfect. I was busy getting ready for the big day and had not one worry or concern for how everything would turn out. I showed up to the venue and they left me speechless. I had to just sit there and soak it all in, it was just unreal. Jill and Alex were incredibly easy to work with. They were very thorough and detail oriented and had really neat ideas that made my wedding decor and design unique. Events by I. Candy made our wedding a breeze! They completely set up everything perfectly and punctually, then returned at the end of the evening to take everything down. I had no stress or worries about decorating our venue. They brought our bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages to the bridal suite immediately and everything was beautifully done. They were a joy to work with as well, very flexible and will listen to your vision/thoughts and put it together better than you describe! Their warehouse (amazing) is full of decor, floral, and many other items that is sure to please any bride. I would 10/10 recommend working with them for any event! We used events by iCandy for my reception centerpieces, cake flowers, bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages. I had a great experience working with this mother daughter team, and absolutely loved everything we rented. They were very flexible and had great ideas and style. I had many guests tell me they tried to smell our centerpieces because the flowers looked so real!! Using silk bouquets reduced so much stress during the day, and the flowers looked amazing all night long. I would recommend events by iCandy to any bride!

They have gorgeous stuff available. They really do. They have luxurious couches and card boxes, and special touches that could make your event opulent and unforgettable. I wouldn't say it's "afforable", per say. These are some really smart businesswomen because they're raking in $$ hand over fist. They don't provide batteries; that said, you don't necessarily have to go and buy your own batteries, but you're assuming the risk that one may not turn on for your party....so it's advisable to buy your own batteries. Anyway, at $2 a pop for reusable LED candlesticks and getting your own batteries...they literally just soak in the cash which is brilliant. Their stuff is in and out the door with minimal use and damage, and back through for the next event just as quick. I am a tad jealous I didn't think to do it! But, anyway-- their selection is great, albeit overpriced. I also do not recommend their timeliness or communication. There was a lot of phone tag going on (with me tagging several times, waiting, waiting, tagging, waiting...) and it seemed disorganized. Much of the responsibility was hoisted onto the client: there is no reminder to pick up your items/to coordinate a time, there is no communication really at all at any stage except when they come calling for the cash. They seem to be extremely hands-off/apathetic, almost to the point where it feels...tricky. I don't know why, but that same feeling is only exacerbated by a contract that is chockfull of nuances. Such as, everything must be returned exactly as it was given-- as in, tissue paper and bubble wrap...or you could get slapped with a fee. I understand their reasoning, but that stringent of requirements, paired with their somewhat uncongenial communication habits and high costs makes for a bad taste in the mouth. There was no personal touch or any one sweet, memorable person who made us feel like we were valuable clients, like all of our other vendors did. It was very much a revolving door of "give us your money, here's a candlestick, c'ya next week and you better be on time." Ultimately, everything went off without a hitch but it was not a service experience that leaves me singing praises and recommendations. It was perfectly adequate in every way, and we knew what we were getting into with price so we can't complain. Perfectly adequate but I do warn that brides who use I Candy should be extremely fastidious when it comes to communication, contract, and use of the rentals.

I cannot say enough great things about Alex and Jill! They completely understood my vision by taking an interest in my Pinterest board and enduring several phone calls and emails with me! They were very professional and I was completely satisfied with their work and rentals for my wedding day. I highly recommend the Events By I. Candy Team!

Do not waste your time with this unprofessionally ran business. My review was too long to post on here. So check it out on their Facebook. Just to give you a heads up before, if you are considering going through them for your rental items. All my other vendors received 5 stars besides this company. And I have never wrote a bad review on a business until I've dealt with this one.

I went in looking for cupcake stands. The worker that was helping us seemed new and wasn't very helpful because she couldn't get the vision I was looking for. Then Alex came in to help and she was great! I had to call for some measurements on one of the things I rented and had to make several attempts to get an answer. The phone calls went to the owner and it still took about 3-4 weeks and several phone calls and emails to get my answer.

Alex from Events by I. Candy was amazing to work with! I made several changes to my quote from the time I put my deposit down until 2-3 weeks before my wedding and she never gave me any grief haha. She was very responsive to my emails and worked with me on my budget when I wanted to adjust the pricing on any items. I sent over a document with pictures of my inspiration and they nailed it! I received so many compliments on our beautiful fresh flowers as well as the silk arrangements for our table decorations. The bouquets were absolutely stunning and the succulent boutonnieres were perfect for the men. I found a picture on pinterest of some manzanita branches with a silk arrangement on top and wanted this as a centerpiece. I knew that Events by I. Candy would be the only ones who could execute this at a reasonable cost and they turned out absolutely amazing! It was something no one had ever seen before and we received so many compliments from guests. I rented silk flowers for our bud vases and for pew cones to decorate at the church. Alex tied each bud vase arrangement and each pew cone arrangement together so that it was easy for us to decorate. Everything went very smooth. I highly recommend Events by I. Candy! Thank you so much for being a part of our special day!

I was so impressed with the amount of floral & decor options. Jill & Alex have something for everyone & can accommodate any style or look. Working with these two was easy and pleasant. Both are extremely creative and willing to work within your budget.
