What would I have done without Jackie and Kellsey!!! They were fantastic, extremely organized, and exude energy and positivity. I didn't even feel stressed leading up or even on the day of my wedding. Jackie and Kellsey were constantly checking in and met with me the week prior to talk vendors and timeline, a few days before to go over decor, and the morning of they were setting everything up for me and connecting with vendors. I was able to really sit back and enjoy the whole day. Kellsey was my day-of coordinator and pumped us all up and kept us on time. We ran out of Bud Light and she ran out mid-wedding to purchase more (what a savior!!). She even packed all of my decor up so it was waiting for me in the morning. Jackie and Kellsey were such a please to work with and literally could not have had such a seamless wedding without out them!
We could not have asked for a better day of management team for our wedding than Jackie and her assistant Kellsey. From the very first phone call Jackie was a wealth of knowledge and resources, as well as a calming presence in the ever stressful world of wedding planning! She is kind and thoughtful and always prompt in answering any and all random questions that can come up throughout the planning process. We knew we made the right call in hiring Jackie when we would tell our other vendors who we were working with and every single one responded with “oh, you’re working with Jackie? She’s the BEST”. Once our wedding weekend arrived, Jackie went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and the wedding weekend ran smoothly. From little décor details to evening timeline to guest mishaps Jackie was on it, and her presence truly allowed us to be fully present in each moment of our day. We are so grateful to have had Jackie and her team to help make our wedding so magical, and we can’t recommend her enough!
We were excited to plan our wedding together as an engaged couple - and we were not sure at first that we needed to hire anyone to help. We’re so glad we are that friends and family helped us see the error of our ways and recommended that we hire a coordinator, and we’re even more grateful that we hired Jackie.
The Montague Retreat Center (our venue) recommended Jackie to us. She was organized, quick to answer questions (either from us or from the anxious MOB) and always cheerful. Her coordinating package was not just the day of, but included spreadsheets to help us organize ourselves months in advance, a walk-through at the venue 30 days out, and check-ins with us and our vendors to make sure that every detail was set. She just made everything so easy!
Jackie also seemed to understand exactly what kind of wedding and experience we were looking for, and she was able to recommend great food for breakfast, a makeup artist and a wonderful DJ company for us. We wanted our wedding to feel local, and Jackie’s intimate knowledge of the Pioneer Valley was crucial. She was also just a delight to work with -- an important thing for someone that you’re hiring to be with you for your entire wedding day!
Jackie was there for our planning meeting with the venue Thursday, the rehearsal on Friday with her great assistant, Kelsey, and the two of them worked together all day on Saturday. It was so good to know there was someone who could answer our guests questions and make sure everything was running smoothly.
It was such a relief to know that, even as we’re putting on our suit and dress and dealing with the butterflies in our stomachs, everything was being taken care of by someone that we trusted. In the end, maybe (and that’s a big maybe) we could have done the whole thing all on our own, but wouldn’t have been the easy, organized and wonderful wedding that it was without Jackie.
Hiring Jackie was the best thing we did for our wedding. She is incredible. Her enthusiasm is contagious. Her recommendations for vendors were spot on and all the vendors we worked with sang Jackie’s praises. Jackie was able to help us realize our vision and make it virtually stress free. We had a lot of details and events over our wedding weekend and she made it all smooth and seamless. Jackie is a true professional! Her thoughtfulness and kindness made working with her a joy. We can’t say enough about how amazing Jackie is.
Working with Jackie was an absolute dream. Our wedding was planned over about 18 months, and I never felt like I was anything less than her number one priority, even though I know she had other weddings to work on. Jackie took so much stress away from planning our wedding. She was a sounding board when I had ideas to run by her, she was super creative when I told her all of the non-traditional things we wanted, and on the day of our wedding, I did not worry about a thing. Everything looked amazing and was exactly how we wanted. The two assistants that worked with her were also phenomenal. We could not have had our wedding without Jackie and her team!
I don't even know where to begin singing Jackie's praises. My husband and I knew we wanted someone to help out with our wedding, and hired Jackie very early in our wedding planning process, before I could have imagined what a collaborative, helpful, kind, patient, organized, dedicated, and indispensable partner she would become to us.
Jackie put so much time and effort into our wedding. When I think about the hours she spent with me on the phone, meeting with us and the caterer, the florists, not to mention the undivided attention in the weeks leading up to the wedding... her hours alone are worth the price. When we left the party at 1 am she was still there! Managing everything and everyone with complete grace. She also coordinated for us in MA which was crucial since my husband and I live in NYC, Jackie was our "boots on the ground" presence and perfect at it. Jackie handled all of our vendor relationships with patience and diligence.
I'm a planner but also a dreamer and Jackie struck the perfect balance of letting us have control, but keeping us realistic. The few times Jackie spoke up to suggest an alternative for an idea I had, I knew she was working to make our wedding perfect, rather than just saying "sure, no problem!" to every whim. She was truly a partner, flagging things that had the potential to be a logistical nightmare before they became one.
Jackie was how careful she was so help bring OUR vision to life, not her own. I realized after a few meetings that rather than injecting her own style or way of doing things at every corner, she was careful to learn what we wanted and suggest ideas aligned with our style.
As someone who used to do corporate event planning (and with a husband works in logistics) I could not have been more impressed with how well Jackie organized, planned and implemented our vision. She was a fantastic partner and I recommend her unequivocally.
Jackie is amazing, I cannot express this enough. I echo the other reviews of her, she is so organized, proactive, and positive. I literally would have pulled my hair out if we did not find her, she had every little detail of the day laid out in the plan. If the other reviews weren't enough to make you want to work with her, I'll leave you with this... I slept a solid 8+ hours the night before the wedding because she is THAT good, I knew she had everything covered. Now how many brides can say that?!
Jackie was legitimately my life savor! When my husband and I got engaged we agreed that we would have a small backyard wedding. Well, little did I know, marrying into an 100% Italian family, 'small' was defined as 200 guests and a 5 course meal.. I became overwhelmed, extremely quickly. I was having difficulty juggling my time between wedding planning and my 60 hour work week. Honestly, planning the wedding began to feel like a second job and I was not enjoying it. Finally, about six months in, it was recommended for me to contact Jackie and THANK GOD I did. From our initial meeting, she took my anxiety level from 10 to 0. She literally took all the tedious stuff (phone calls, reaching out to vendors, setting up limo services, ect...) out of my hands and kept track of everything for me... And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING! She was always available to answer questions through email, phone conversations or text and you never had to wait for her, she was always on top of everything. She was also the MOST organized person I have ever met. She was always one step ahead of me and keeping track of what I needed to get done on the ultimate bridal timeline (created by her of course).
Besides all of these wonderful qualities, the most important of all, she made planning a wedding enjoyable for me again. She came to meetings with me and when I looked to her for advice (which was always) she gave me her honest opinion. Jackie is genuine and it is clear that she truly enjoys what she does. My wedding day was perfect and stress-free and the only thing I would have gone back and changed about it is the fact that I did not contact Jackie the day I began planning my wedding.
Jackie was a blessing. She was friendly, professional and brought such an important sense of calm to the wedding planning process. When other people expressed skepticism about some of my ideas, Jackie always reassured me that we would get it done and it would be great. She put me at ease, she put my parents at ease and she put all of the other vendors at ease. Not an easy task. Everyone appreciated having someone so focused and knowledgeable running the show. One of the happiest memories I have of my wedding day is coming back from getting my hair and makeup done and sneaking into the reception tent to see that everything had come together so beautifully. It was exactly what I had envisioned. My husband and I have had countless people tell us "in all sincerity, your wedding was the best wedding I have ever been to." We owe so much of our perfect day to Jackie.
I hired Events by Jackie M. to help with the day of coordinating for my wedding and what I got was so much more! From our very first meeting I fell in love with Jackie and knew she was the perfect addition to my wedding team. Her upbeat personality and passion for what she does were completely evident from the start, as was her attention to detail (something that was pretty important to me). Jackie was great with offering suggestions for vendors and answering my every question regarding etiquette and timing (and there were plenty of questions I assure you!). Jackie was an amazing resource and sounding board for my ideas and helped me to make them a reality. I felt confident going into my wedding day that everything would work out perfectly, and it did!!! Jackie was great with coordinating with my other vendors to be sure everyone would be where they needed to when they needed to be there (and without making the others feel like she was stepping on their toes or being bossy). My photographer actually stopped me at one point during the reception to tell me that Jackie was the best coordinator he has ever worked with and that she was truly there to make my experience a memorable one, which I completely agreed with! Everything about my day came out exactly as Jackie and I had discussed during our numerous emails and face to face meetings, I could not be happier! Hiring her was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning process and I am so lucky to have been able to work with such a sweet and genuine person to pull together the wedding of my dreams!
