Meg was the best! A true industry veteran, she knew all the best vendors and 'hacks' to make our wedding weekend perfect. Whenever I had a crazy idea, she found a way to make it happen -- all with a smile on her face. Meg and her team made everything seem effortless (which I know it wasn't) and I'm so glad she was part of our special day.
My husband and I got married in September at the Hilton Beachfront Resort in Santa Barbara, and we were in awe with the way our wedding day turned out, and how smooth Meg made the planning process for us. She also planned our Rehearsal dinner + Welcome Party at Margerum Wine Conpany, and that was absolutely lovely as well.
From the start of the consultation, she really puts effort into getting to know you both as individuals, and together as a couple. This is really helpful for the planning process and helps guide you in delegation of topics/tasks amongst yourselves and who she should reach out to depending on the what info she needs. ie my husband is more logistics and business, whereas I’m more interested in creative/design.
She is organized (heck yes to the spreadsheets!), detail-oriented, honest, understanding, patient (I’m the type who needs someone kindly keeping me on track for this kind of thing), and just all around fun to chat with. She has great recommendations for vendors and really is connected!
She really works on ensuring it’s YOUR special day and is flexible in going out of her way to make sure your dream wedding happens within your vision, culture, budget, (even family and guest opinions and logistics)
We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for wedding or event planning services in the greater Santa Barbara area.

I cannot recommend Meg enough! We started working with her during the height of the pandemic, but nevertheless she made us feel comfortable and confident that our wedding would be everything we wanted it to be. She is so incredibly organized and knowledgeable, and it made the wedding planning process so seamless and fun. I never had to worry about any missing detail or deadline and Meg was always available for a meeting if I had any questions along the way. She also worked so well with all our vendors and made sure everything was coordinated. Meg was wonderful throughout the whole process and made sure our wedding day was perfect and stress-free for us.
It's been over a year since our wedding with Meg and we only grow more and more grateful for her and her team as time goes on! We have been to several weddings since and are so happy to report that not once has something come up where we think "we should've done this better at our wedding."
We did the middle package with Meg which was perfect for us. I definitely wanted to play an active role in the planning so this worked out well for us. Meg was always there to send us off in the right direction and get us a head start. She didn't do everything for us (as expected) but having her to promptly answer and questions and bounce ideas back and forth with saved us a ton of time!
For reference, we had a substantial part in the day-to-day planning while both working full-time and attending school full-time. So it's a lot of work but totally doable if you stay organized and manage your time properly!
We highly recommend working with Meg and her middle of the road package if you are ready to put in work as well. She has so much knowledge and expertise with things that are so often overlooked, like general timeline and making sure guests have a pleasant and smooth experience at your big day.
Overall we loved our experience and would recommend that everyone read the fine print closely and discuss roles and responsibilities so it's made clear from the start what you're signing up for. If you sign up for a middle of the road package, that's what you're going to get and it's perfect if you want a substantial and active role in planning your perfect day!
Meg was a terrible listener. She has her own agenda and could not understand us at all. She would interrupt us as we tried to explain what we wanted. She forgot our wedding venue on almost every call. Multiple of the vendors had to ask us to confirm the address because Meg had provided the wrong one. I would not recommend her services to anyone.

That is when we made the difficult decision to terminate your contract. In our 12 years in business, you are the only client contract that we have ever terminated. We expressed to you the many reasons we came to this decision in our cancellation letter and in later emails, stating that the condescending and confrontational nature of your communication style is simply not something anyone should be subjected to. Since your contract was terminated 9 months prior to the wedding, we had not given or confirmed any addresses with your vendors, so the claim that we gave your vendors the wrong address is not accurate and would have been taken care of by the person you hired to coordinate your day.
We also waived your balance for services rendered - stating, “We understand that you still have much planning to do and in the interest of a clean dissolution and to keep you in a forward motion, we will not be pursuing the overage costs beyond the payments collected thus far.” - A gesture we did not have to extend. I firmly believe that even when you were unkind, we continued to communicate with grace and kindness.
Though I am saddened to read, what feels like a retaliation review for cancelling your contract, I hope your wedding was everything you dreamed and wish you all the best in your future together.

Planning my wedding during covid was nothing short of a nightmare. I had to deal with an unreasonable and irate vendor, my venue cancelling three weeks before the wedding, and countless other hurtles including reducing the guest list by 75% and so on. Through all the nightmare, Meg stood strong and helpful. She provided guidance and solutions to problems. She managed to find a last minute videographer, find a new venue with just three weeks to spare, and turned it into the most amazing wedding I could have ever imagined.
After my original venue canceled, I felt hopeless and stopped caring about everything. Meg managed to help me gain the excitement of the wedding back by pulling everything together in a last minute fashion. She communicated and planned with all my vendors, helped with the rentals of everything I didn't know I needed, offered solutions to SO. MANY. ISSUES.
The day of she had the schedule down and helped everything run smoothly. I had a huge wedding party she managed to control somehow and kept everyone on time. She really helped bring my vision together and transform it into the most amazing day. I mean, she literally even went as far to make sure my food (I was too busy/nervous to eat) was boxed up and placed in my room so I could eat it later. She helped me place together so many small details that brought so much joy to myself and my guests. Things like getting lemon bars delivered to the hotel room the night before the wedding to all my guests, and a light refreshing drink during the pre ceremony seating time. She really though of every last detail and helped make my wedding unique and special.
I love Meg with all my heart and will always carry a special fondness of her and her work. You will not regret hiring her. You will be so unbelievably happy and glad you did. She really is the fairy godmother of weddings.

So let me start by saying when you are planning YOUR wedding, you are looking for not only the best planner but someone who is capable of bringing your dream & vision to life. I found Meg after searching through many planners that I just felt weren’t right for me. I knew from our first phone call that she was the one for me lol so I booked her on the spot. So I live in New York and got married in Malibu, CA. Now planning a wedding is stressful but planning a wedding across the country is even more stressful....I thought. Little did I know I was planning a wedding across the country during COVID 19. After 3 trips and 1.5 years of planning with Meg, the entire world changed. Meg asked me if I wanted to move my wedding, I said no. She told me not to worry and we were going to make it happen anyway we can (following protocol obviously). I can truly say Meg looked into the rules and kept me updated on a daily basis. Not only did Meg follow rules and protocols to make my wedding safe for all my vendors and guests, she made my vision become a reality. Although we had a smaller guest list, we did not sacrifice anything short of what I wanted. The day was absolutely perfect thanks to Meg!
Not only did Meg make my dream come true in an unprecedented time, she was more than a vendor.... she was my friend. Meg was there for me every step of the way (Even the day of her own wedding when I was having a panic attack about my wedding, she answered the phone). Mind you I live in NY so It’s 3 hours earlier in the East Coast. Meg always answered me. This women is a wedding God. She did nothing short of an amazing job. If I had to go back to this extremely stressful time to plan a wedding, I would as long as Meg was my planner. She can make anything happen. I highly recommend choosing Meg. Meg and her team were absolutely incredible! From the very beginning and each step of the way, Meg made our planning stress-free. She took the time to get to know us as a couple which allowed us to trust the team to put together our desired wedding experience. They handled all of the details, communication, and scheduling with each vendor. They provided us with very helpful guidance and suggestions -- especially since we live in NY and our wedding was in CA. On the day of our wedding, Meg made it so that there were zero decisions to be made, and our only focus was to enjoy our special day with our guests who all had an amazing time! Meg was amazing to work with! From our first conversation with her, my husband and I both felt confident that she knew exactly what she was doing. She had great advise and we loved her spreadsheets that she provided for tracking our guests, decor and budget. We brought Meg on as our "Week of" coordinator. On the week of, she was incredibly helpful in communicating with our vendors and made sure everything ran smoothly from the rehearsal right through the big day. I would highly recommend Events by M and M!
Meg and her team were excellent! Right from the beginning she worked with us to help us envision the type of wedding we wanted, keep us on budget, and keep us on a good timeline. She was very knowledgable about the venue. Everyone has told us our wedding was one of the most beautiful they had seen, and it was all because of Meg and her team. The florist she works with in southern california was particularly amazing. We couldn't have done it without their dedication and vision, she comes highly recommended!
We started planning our wedding like any other couple would, throwing every half-composed idea at wedding planners in hopes that they could bridge the gap between my ramblings and an overloaded Pinterest board. I knew I wanted it to have a very relaxed romantic feel without seeming too uptight. We had picked a gorgeous winery as our venue and I knew it could embody both of our wants. After interviewing with Meg I instantly clicked with her “get-it-done” personality and humor! It was only a few conversations with my parents, and we began our 7-month planning journey! Now, seven months isn’t a lot of time in the wedding planning world but, Meg and her team absolutely nailed every vision, vendor, and walk through. Her design board checked off every “want” and provided options within our budget without every sacrificing the experience. It was the easiest and most enjoyable event process I have ever been a part of even with some type of meeting or walk through happening back to back. I knew Meg was executing every detail as her and her team kept me in the loop with where we were at in processes and answered any random question I had without having to wait. My fiancé and family were all very excited about the big day and could not wait to see what our vendors had dreamt up in person. Unfortunately, the unthinkable happened. We had arrived the Thursday before our wedding, just as the fires struck Malibu. Friday morning, I was trying to keep my calm and without hesitating Meg immediately called me and started working with vendors to secure a game plan to make the day come together despite the road closures and air conditions. A few hours later, while watching the news from our hotel surrounded by smoke, I saw a reporter in front of my venue with flames behind him. Everyone expected me to be a total mess but, it was my faith in Meg and her stellar team that kept me so calm. In the matter of half a working day, with no WiFi, she had found a new venue, secured new vendors, and assisted in signing new contracts and getting memos out to our guests all before dinner. I didn’t get a rehearsal, I never got to say “I do” where I had envisioned I would. But I wouldn’t change anything that happened that weekend. The day was absolutely gorgeous and filled with more love than it would have originally been, I think. I owe all of my memories, peace, and happiness from that weekend to Meg and her team. I am almost crying happy tears writing this. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for me and my family. I love you always Meg, thank you for everything.
In the near 3 months since our wedding in Malibu, CA my wife and I have written several glowing reviews for the vast array of vendors that helped us celebrated a truly magical night. We have saved the very best for last. It was our wedding coordinator who skillfully and patiently guided us to choose the very best DJ, flouriest, photographer, videographer, transportation, cake & dessert designer, and make-up crew. Thank you to Meg West and the entire team at Events by M & M for putting together a night my wife and I will forever cherish. Early on, Meg listened to all of our crazy ideas and specific preferences and ran with it. This was no small feat. My wife and I had very different approaches to our wedding aesthetic. Meg was able to process what was most important to us both and put together a theme and look that not only pleased us, it wowed us. She was able to make the months, weeks and days leading up to our wedding seem easy and stress-free. We almost started to worry about how un-stressed we were. On the day of, Meg and her team skillfully commanded all the moving parts of a massive wedding machine while remaining near invisible to our guests. I cannot begin to express my eternal gratitude to Meg and everyone at Events by M & M for their hard work and dedication to making our wedding day so special. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement. We write reviews (both good and bad) to help others make informed choices. I got married in Santa Barbara nearly a year ago now...needless to say, this review is long overdue! I am still so thankful for Meg, Noel, and the rest of the team for putting together a beautiful wedding that was so seamless. We could not have asked for any better!
When we began the planning process, my (now) husband and I were looking for someone who could take the reigns, so we decided on the partial package. We had already decided on a venue and photographer, but I wish we had found M and M sooner, because it would have made that process so much easier!
I tend to get overwhelmed with minutiae and can become paralyzed when too many options are presented. Meg was fantastic at helping to narrow things down for us. M and M provided us with a short list of recommended vendors so that we didn't have to constantly sift through numerous websites and reviews, only to then have to play phone/email tag with each one. Not only were their recommendations well qualified, but the list appeared to have a range of prices to choose from.
Meg and Noel were also extremely responsive (both by email and phone), and I always felt better after having talked with them. They listened to my ideas intently, understood exactly what I wanted, and was able to run with it and make fitting suggestions when I was totally lost. Meg's warmth and energy leading up to the wedding and on the day of made me feel so at ease and confident that all would go well.
And it did! On the day of the event, everything was set up beautifully as planned, and vendors were on time and working hard. The team made sure that the wedding party stayed on schedule as well, and I was so glad that they made sure my husband and I had a huge plate of food (with time to actually eat it)!
With open communication, superb attention to detail, great listening skills, and a clear love for event planning, you cannot go wrong with Events by M and M. They will definitely take care of you!

Meg and her team fulfilled my dream wedding to the best details possible. To think back, I absolutely made the best decision to have them as my wedding planners. My initial contact to Meg was around 6 months before the wedding. Meg was caring and sensitive. She was able to quickly capture my wedding vision and needs after a few phone calls and email exchanges. Her design board presented so many beautiful details that matches our styles and personalities. What I appreciated the most was they left me with no stress and any possible hectic from the planning, so I really enjoyed my time of being an almost worry-free bride-to-be. On the wedding day, Meg made sure everything was carried out smoothly. Her passion and sunny personality played such an impeccable part that everyone appreciated.
Working with Events by M&M for our wedding was a dream! I did the “week of” planning package which meant I pulled vendors and details together on my own in the months leading up to the day, then handed off to them a week ahead of time where they then took the reigns, pulled it all together, ensured there were no gaps, and likely sprinkled magical fairy dust on it all to ensure a great event. :-) A really important bonus is that they were available by email if I needed advice along the way at any point in planning, not limited to only the week prior. They also checked in at certain points in time with reminders of where I should be in the planning process. This was so appreciated!!
I’m a super-planner Type-A so I’ll admit handing things off is not easy for me. But with Meg and Noel? They made me feel so confident and excited that I couldn’t wait for them to take over! Meg was my main contact leading up to the wedding and Noel was my day-of coordinator. They are both very smart, driven, quick, and friendly women and I was very thankful for their expertise and guidance. Without them, my day would not have been the fabulous day it was. The peace of mind I had knowing that Noel and assistants were directing (and likely troubleshooting last minute problems) once the day started allowed me to just have fun and to be fully present in the day. I highly, highly recommend!!

Let's face it. Like many other brides, I am a bit of a control freak. Or a "boss" as I'd say. Handing over the reigns to execute the most important day in our lives was not easy to think about at first. BUT, once I began working with Meg and her amazing team at Events by M and M, those worries simply melted away.
From our initial budget and planning meeting - when I literally knew nothing about where to start - to the rehearsal, Meg and her team were professional, informative, and able to offer their industry experience to get me and my husband started. We selected Events by M and M for their coordination package, where they assisted coordinating set up and tear down of our vendors and day-of coordination of events. This helped us have a completely seamless event that literally went off without a hitch. We had about 100 guests at a beautiful venue in the arts district in Los Angeles, and my guests are still saying almost a year later that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. Events by M and M allowed us to create our unique vision and bring it to life perfectly. We are so grateful to have had the pleasure of working with them and they get my highest recommendations! I've also attended several of their weddings as a guest - and they are no exception. The best I have been to. Events by M&M really went above and beyond with coordinating our wedding. It was a magical and love filled day and flowed smoothly thanks to Noel, Meg and their team. They also offer various packages for affordability. As artists, we only could afford “the day of” package yet that still includes consulting months out, helpful tools to stay organized, and a week before the wedding a thorough check in with all the vendors which was so helpful in securing that everything ran flawlessly for our big day. We chose a very DIY space (Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu) and though we did a lot of work ourselves, there are still so many unexpected challenges and small yet very important details that Noel helped us navigate beautifully. I was grateful that she kept us on schedule yet didn’t make us feel rushed so we could enjoy and be present during the day. Noel is detail oriented and also made sure we were fed (very important when there’s so much going on), that I had shoes to change into for my first dance, and that our car was packed with all the things on our list of take home items. She is warm and professional. I highly recommend Events by M&M!
Everything was so amazing that I do not even know where to begin! From the moment that my husband and I started working with Meg and Noel we knew we were in great hands. They were so professional and nice! They were so organized and helped keep me on track, which I definitely needed! They did not make me feel pressured with time requirements as they planned everything out so perfectly! When my husband and I met them at our walk through, it was even more confirmed that I would not have to worry about anything going wrong on our wedding day. Two years...two years of planning this wedding event for 100 people and just like that it was over in eight hours. It was a pleasure working with you and Noel. Noel was amazing, to say the least. Noel was alert, attentive, welcoming and such a hard worker on Friday. Our family is a tad needy and you took control of each scenario polity, professional but firm. Your entire team was amazing. Your responsiveness was amazing, when a situation was brought to your attention for whatever the reason was, you and your team was there to step in and mediate the situation immediately. Our family was ranting and raving how you gave clear and concise directions throughout the wedding rehearsal and most importantly with our mom’s fear of heights. Events by M & M professionalism far exceeded our expectations and the overall vision we were going towards. Definitely, such a memorable event that will never be forgotten.

Meg and her team are the absolute best. Meg planned our dream wedding. We contacted Meg not quite a year before our wedding when we were having trouble selecting a venue. After speaking with her, we immediately knew we wanted to work with her, so we hired her for her full service planning package. We were unorganized and having trouble making decisions, and Meg picked up on what we wanted and put it together beautifully. She took every idea and suggestion we had without complaint. She was also able to recommend all the best vendors to us. Meg made sure we were prepared and had everything we needed for our big day, then made sure everything went perfectly smooth. If anything went wrong on our wedding day, I had no idea. My husband and I are incredibly grateful for everything Meg and her team did for us, and we highly recommend them to everyone.
I was incredibly nervous on my wedding day, and had no idea what to expect. I'm SO HAPPY that Noel was present because she TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS! My wedding was absolutely beautiful, and even exceeded my expectations! She handled EVERYTHING from deliveries, getting guests to their places, decorations, event timeline, she even helped me put on my veil before I walked! Honestly, out of everything spent on the wedding, SHE was the MOST important. My wedding would have been a mess without her running around and handling EVERYTHING!
I wish I could be writing a positive review for this company. I spoke with Meg, the owner a while back and she was absolutely amazing. So friendly and helpful and made us feel stress-free. With that, we decided to book. Unfortunately, we didn't get Meg as our coordinator.
We only got the day-of package... which consisted of any type of planning and consulting you needed prior to the big day via email/phone call. We had a couple emails back and forth, and everything seemed fine until about 2 weeks before the wedding.
Mary was the planner/coordinator assigned to our wedding. The good news is, she is a very hard worker and so were her assistants. But her attitude and opinionated comments were where it went downhill for me. She didn't seem to care how I wanted things to go, and went about her routine, without caring what our requests were. Mind you, we weren't asking for something crazy, but we had a some specific aspects of our day that we hoped would be accommodated to our standards.
Our guests were not directed to the ceremony space as they were supposed to be, our tables had been set up wrong, Our timeline was executed incorrectly, a whole cake was wasted, and I was left with a sour taste in my mouth about the coordinator, Mary. I would still recommend this company to someone looking for a coordinator, but would recommend that you ask for a different coordinator than Mary.
Meg was wonderful! We hired her to be our full wedding planner and the money was well worth it. My husband and I found the whole experience very stress free! Meg took care of everything- from finding our dream venue to worrying about the small details the day of. She was a life saver!

We worked with Meg and Noel and they really helped make sure our day ran smoothly by thinking of things we would never even have thought of! I loved having Noel there wedding day. We booked Events by M and M for Week of/Day of Coordination services. Easily one of the best choices I made during my wedding planning process! Meg and Mary were super helpful and super sweet and Meg made me feel so comfortable and was very tolerant of my quirkiness! They helped me stay organized and focused, and talked me through all the little details that I wasn’t sure of! I’m a very indecisive person, and Meg helped me process things in a way that not only helped me MAKE the choice, but helped me make a good choice! Even though I did the “planning” piece myself, Meg is the one who really brought everything together that day and made my vision come to life. On the day of, Meg ensured every detail was perfect! Even things that I hadn’t thought of! She filled all the gaps. And to top it all off, Meg sure that I was taken care of that day. She helped me stay calm, and not feel rushed or in a hurry. She made me feel like my needs were priority and she made sure that I was happy every second of that day! I absolutely adored her and her team and would recommend them 1,000 times over. Meg and her team were amazing! I do events for work so letting someone else execute the wedding the way I wanted was not an easy task. But they took my vision and made our day perfect! Meg, Mary and the whole M and M team are the best of the best. My husband and I booked Mary and her team for the "week of" wedding package. Even though the package was a for the "week of" the wedding, the M and M team was available to help with vendor recommendations, phone meetings and email throughout our wedding planning process...for which I am eternally grateful. I worked mostly with Mary....and my goodness, can that woman throw a party! She was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, nimble and flexible the day of the wedding, and 100% on top of her game. If anything went wrong during the event I have absolutely no clue, Mary handled everything with grace, speed and perfection. If I had known how amazing the M and M team was before booking the "week of" package I probably wouldn't upgraded to a larger package so I could've had even more of the M and M magic throughout my wedding planning experience. Mary is the absolute best...you would be missing out not hiring this team for your wedding.

Mary, Sarah, and Meg were so professional and amazing that I am completely happy with their services! They follow up and send you a checklist so, you do not forget anything. If you have questions, they are more that happy to help. They were on it the day of the rehearsal and day of. We loved how they were so attentive during the ceremony and reception. To top of everything, they gave us a personalized gift which was so sweet. You will not go wrong if you have Events by M and M as your wedding coordinator!
She was great and her team as well. She knows what she is doing and I trusted her because of that. I handed her my diy decor and she knew where to place everything and it looked all amazing. She has a strong personality where people will listen to her and get the job done.
At first I didn't think I needed a wedding planner...I plan outreach event for work, my wedding should be easy. After talking to my now husband, he wanted me to have fun and enjoy my wedding. We interviewed a couple planners and settled on Meg. It was one of the best decisions we made. She made the wedding and reception so enjoyable for me. I never worried about anything. She listened to our ideas and added more to help pull off our unique theme. When my dress was too long after my shoe change, she fixed it with her tool belt and I didn't miss a beat. I am so glad we hired Meg, we got to enjoy our day and our friends and family enjoyed the day too. My only wish was we had a photo of Meg and her team with us to remind us of all the hard work and joy she brought to us.
I can't express enough how amazing this team is. On my wedding day people were so amazed on how cool and calm I was and my response was, "Meg and the team have it all under control." One of best decisions we made on our Wedding Day (besides saying "I DO!") was having Events by M&M as our Wedding Planner! Meg West & her Team were absolutely amazing! After months of trying to plan our destination wedding in Santa Barbara on my own - I reached out to Events by M&M. After just one phone call with Meg, she made me feel a million times better! Her and her team really understood our vision and took care of all the details from managing our Vendors, keeping track of our RSVP's, creating our floor plan, timelines, photographer/videographer schedules, music, decorations, etc. - all while keeping us within our budget.
On the day of our Wedding, Meg was like a mind reader! She literally had every thing covered and we did not have to worry about a thing! She is amazing at what she does, and we are so lucky to have found her!

When you read that Meg goes "above and beyond", this is true. When my wife and I were taking a short break between the ceremony & the reception to grab some things from our hotel room, I went in to find our room was cleaned and Meg had left a bottle of champagne (which we quickly guzzled haha).
Literally, the transition from the church ceremony to the reception was FLAWLESS. Never once did my wife and I ever wonder what was going on, who was where, what was next. There were no hiccups or bumps in the road and if there was, my wife and I certainly didn't know about it. My vendors were VERY impressed with her timeline guide she provided them for the order of events for the reception.
We were SO impressed with the work M & M did for us, as they were such an important part of our reception. The night went by so fast and if I could do it over, I definitely would have grabbed the mic and gave M & M a standing ovation for all the work they put into our special night. #FLAWLESS

When you first meet Meg West you will think 3 things: 1) She is confident, 2) She has a strong personality, and 3) She has done this before! When you are spending tens of thousands of dollars on a wedding it only makes sense to have someone ensuring that everything comes together smoothly. Let me assure you that Meg and Events by M&M are the ones for the job. When meeting her you will think as I did, "This is the person I want in control of my wedding day and wrangling all of the vendors." She gets sh** done. We had a complete DIY wedding with a lot of moving pieces and no onsite coordination at either our ceremony or reception venues. Meg's team did a fantastic job and continually guided the flow of the entire occasion so we were always where we needed to be without feeling stressed. Nothing will ever go as planned with weddings and as you plan yours you will hear horror stories from family and friends. It just so happened that the weekend of our wedding there was a tragedy and Meg was unable to personally attend our event. She had an entire team that showed up led by Becky to make sure our day still went off without a hitch. Whenever we turned around Becky was there with instructions or a helpful bottle of water. Even when an emergency happened, Meg still made sure that we had the help and guidance that our event needed to be successful and we could not have been happier with the result. Do yourself a favor, stop looking at wedding planners, and book Events by M&M. Thank you Meg & Becky for making our day perfect!
My daughter and her husband had a very beautiful beach wedding on 9/12/15 at Mandalay Beach Embassy Suites in Oxnard, California. Meg West a was our wedding coordinator. I chose her after reading so many good reviews about her past services.I am very very pleased that she was available to assist for the day of services. Meg is remarkable! She and her assistant knew exactly how to coordinate the wedding the way we were hoping it would turnout. I would highly recommend Meg to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator - you will be in very very good hands!!!!
Having a wedding planner made me think about things I had never thought of, they really pushed me to get my lists together and made sure that everything was ok. I (of course) felt stress but I was happy to enjoy my wedding day without having to deal with too much drama. They are super organized and have nifty things to help you get organized so that your day can be beautiful!

I would pick M&M events again a thousand times over! They were our absolute savior for our wedding this August. We did the month-of coordination package and I don't know what we would have done without them. I have planned very large events before and thought planning my wedding would be a snap. I was mistaken. Month-of , or at the least, day-of coordination is a 100% necessary investment for your wedding. Meg wasn't just helpful in finding amazing vendors, she was peace of mind when I needed someone to calm me down and she and her team were absolutely GENIUS day of.
Meg and Becky handled all curevballs seamlessly and took everything and kicked it up a notch.
For instance,I bought 150 donuts for dessert, rented the table, linen and gold stands, but sort of forgot about decor past that as the cake was my main focus. Meg got creative and took candles from other areas, repurposed bridesmaids' bouquets and a wood stand from our ceremony florals and took a Marquee S I bought and created an insanely beautiful donut bar. It was one of the highlights of the night and guests couldn't stop talking about it!
Another detail I hadn't thought of was clean up... because it was at my Grandma's house, when we showed up the next morning I expected to still have a lot of clean up to do- I figured we would have trash to gather, vases and candles to organize, decor to box up... Meg and her team had left us NOTHING to do. They had organized all our candles, decor, etc to a T. All trash was bagged and organized. All leftover food be it cake or hors d oeuvres had been doggie bagged and put in the fridge, it was absolutely spectacular.
They kept everything on schedule and handled vendor arrival times etc so my day was stress free.. I can't thank M&M enough for everything they did, I could go on and on about all the special details they put into our day, but I think you get the idea. Highly recommend!
Meg was our event coordinator at our wedding last weekend at Sherwood Country Club. She did an amazing job! We could not have asked for the night to go any smoother. I had a candy bar set up and she even brought in some of her own stands to make it look fantastic. Throughout the whole evening, she made sure I was okay and at the end, everything was all packed up and loaded into our car. I didn't even notice when all of that was taking place. The tool on my dress started to unravel so I went into the bridal suite to figure out how to fix it and she came to the rescue pinning it up. She is super organized and has a cheery personality. My husband was really impressed with everything she did and even commented a few times after the wedding how she went above and beyond the duties of a coordinator. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would!
Meg was so awesome with helping coordinate the biggest day of my life! She helped make all my little details come to life on the day, and she helped keep everyone organized and calm. She had so many great ideas she brought to the table i was astonished!! Her taste and keen eye for design is impeccable.
My favorite part of her service was she added some custom menu/thank u cards for the tables that really made the wedding more personalized. This was a great idea amongst other little touches she brought to the wedding designs.
My husband and i were also surprised at the end of a day to find champagne, candles and a sweet card set up in the honeymoon suite thanking us from Events by M and M.
We also had live music during the arrivals/ceremony provided my Mike West and i couldn't have been more pleased with the vibe that he created.

I got married over Labor Day last year and Meg was my 'day of' planner. But she did so much more. I was in NYC and my wedding was in Santa Barbara so it was a lot of virtual planning. Meg is young and has some fresh ideas for couples who need to save money in certain areas. But she also knows how to do high end, ours was a mix of both. She was very helpful beyond what I paid for. Her husband Mike was our guitarist on the beach and he was great. they are a dynamic couple! I would recommend Events by M&M again for any type of wedding.

I called Meg a few months into the planning process looking for guidance and a day of package. She was so nice to speak with, we talked about everything from package options to some of the small details that I had in mind. We ended up going with her Partial Planning Package and I can honestly say that we had the most fun working with her!
