I hired Mariela as our event planner for the “month of” the wedding of my daughter. I wanted to make sure I had someone to confirm that we had taken care of all the necessary details prior to the wedding (marriage license, venue, cat...erer, DJ, photographer, etc.) I also needed someone to be there to put out unexpected fires on the day of the wedding. Mariela took care of it all. She met with us several times and provided us with a detailed timeline for the day of the wedding. We stuck to it, with a few adjustments and all went smoothly. I am so glad she was at my side to remind me of all the details I was unaware of, such as picking songs for all the different moments of the ceremony, the entrance of the wedding party, and all the dances. The day before the big event, she seamlessly walked the wedding party through the rehearsal, made sure everyone knew their roles and positions, when to do what and when to show up. Everyone listened and, as a result, the ceremony the next day happened without a glitch. She and her assistant made sure we stuck to the timeline, ushering us from the hair and makeup, first look and family pictures to the ceremony, dinner and dancing, all within the required timeframe. I can honestly say that I would relive that day again, without changing anything. Well, I would probably wear different shoes. Preparation and attention to details made the event a success. Mariela took care of that and all the little extras, such as setting up the placement cards, the table numbers, helping me secure a limo for some elderly guests, lighting the candles, bustling the wedding dress and many more tasks. This allowed the rest of us to relax and enjoy the day. I highly recommend working with Events by Mariela for a delightful and stress-free experience.
