The Wedding Planner/Day of Coordinator position is arguably one of the hardest decisions you have to make for your wedding day. You're effectively entrusting one person to keep the trains on the track on your special day, and a wrong decision can lead to headaches and chaos. I'm more of a hands-on bride than most and had already done a considerable amount of research regarding my wedding. I did not go with one of her recommended venues for budgeting reasons, but I still wanted to have her on my wedding day dream team and I was delighted that she said yes. Her service starts 30 days out before the wedding, but 3 months before she insisted on going with me to a meeting at my venue. Her knowledge and expertise helped me make quick decisions and also brought up things I hadn't considered in the planning process, allowing me to seamlessly pivot and adjust when necessary. My wedding was on a Sunday, but her and her husband showed up to help set up my decor the day before, as my venue had a limited setup time on Sundays. On the day of the wedding Tahimy and her team stayed on top of every detail to keep things running smooth. I don't know if anything went wrong as I was too busy having a great time to notice, and that's really the whole point of hiring a Day of Coordinator. You want someone on your side that's looking out for the details, so that you can just sit back and celebrate. Tahimy is that person.
