She covers special occasions throughout Orange County and delights in joining couples in making their wedding journey an unforgettable experience.
Julia Oviedo founded Events With Julia following her own wedding in 2016. She hired a day-of coordinator to help organize the finer details of her big day, recognizing that it is a major task to undertake on one’s own. Today, she relishes the chance to guide other to-be-weds in the final stages of the planning process. She will strive to assist you with the finishing touches and last-minute arrangements to ensure that your vision is fully realized in a stress-free fashion.
Events With Julia begins collaborating with couples six weeks out from their wedding day. Julia offers two to three in-person meetings, including a venue visit, to walk through each step of your special plans. As your month-of coordinator, she will review vendor contracts and liaise with suppliers to finalize arrangements. This professional draws up to-do-lists and timelines to ensure events run smoothly. From fixing boutonnieres and bouquets to cueing your wedding party at the ceremony, she is on hand to oversee everything from start to finish. Her exclusive emergency kit is filled with all the essentials that might be required on the day, from tissues to hairpins. To connect with Julia and arrange a consultation, you can contact her via the company’s website.

Julia is the BEST.
I am truly so so thankful to Julia and her assistant for making our day the best it could be. After about a year of stressful wedding planning, I felt relieved ...
when Julia came in about a month prior to help tie up any loose ends. Getting married is tough because most of us have never planned anything like this before. Although I had already booked my vendors, sent out invites, and bought decor, talking to her during our meetings finally helped me envision what my day would look like. It also helped that she was there for me via text or email to answer the smallest and dumbest questions I had.
When our wedding day finally came around, I was SO much busier than I'd thought I'd be. I could not have done it without Julia. When I arrived at the venue everything was set up exactly how I had envisioned it. She was on time with our schedule, she was able to wrangle everybody together for photos and the ceremony, and she made sure that our reception flowed seamlessly even when things unexpectedly (and inevitably) came up. Even in the midst of all this chaos, Julia still found time to bring us food and drinks throughout the night which I thought was really sweet. And lastly, when the night wrapped up, Julia and her partner were already done packing up our decor for us to take home.
I seriously could not have done this without Julia. She is extremely professional, patient, and understanding. I definitely think she should charge more for her services because she is worth her weight in gold. As someone who is very type A and loves planning, I reached out to SO many day-of planning services who did not have the same level of attention to detail or care for their clients. I highly recommend booking her for your special day. You will NOT regret it.

ay we never even considered, and it just a pleasant person to have by your side! On our wedding day, so was instrumental in ensuring everything running was on time, everything was set up the way we wanted, and that we had as much support as we needed. She even helped us pack up all of our stuff at the end of the night so we could enjoy being with our guests. She is great at what she does and I would recommend her to anyone looking to have a rockstar wedding coordinator.

ation was unique due to Covid, we hosted our small ceremony back in November 2020 and had to postpone our reception for 2021. s immediately in contact with all of my vendors and even bugged them on my behalf to get their insurance (as required by my venue). It felt like every time I remembered to do something, she had already done it for me. She is super responsive and super sweet. She absolutely went above and beyond our expectations, from doing some decorating, to tearing down, to making sure our guests were seated and accounted for, to keep my vendors on track with the timeline. You will not regret hiring her for your wedding. Thank you so much Julia for taking care of everything so that we could enjoy our day!

An amazing day thanks to an amazing coordinator
Julia was a tremendous help for me and my husband on our wedding day. She went above and beyond what a day-of coordinator should do...
and we are so grateful we found her.
The days leading up to the wedding, she was on top of making sure all our vendors and our venue were ready to go and gave me peace of mind that it was taking care of. Any questions or concerns I had, she responded within minutes.
The day of our wedding it rained all morning. I was freaking out about where our outdoor ceremony was going to take place and how was everything going to fit inside. She put my mind at ease by coordinating with the venue manager to move the ceremony inside, rearranged all the tables, chairs, and decor to make it not only fit indoors, but look amazing!
I would highly recommend Julia for your wedding day. She is incredibly sweet, professional, and willing to go the extra mile to insure you are happy and stress free.
Thank you Julia for all of your hard work, talent, and support to make our wedding day a dream.
