leading up to the wedding and literally pulled off magic the day of the wedding. Throughout the planning process, we had a few misunderstandings with the venue and we are so glad we had Lauren there to help us through them all. She stood her ground and advocated for us to have the best wedding possible. On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly as we transitioned a single space from a traditional ceremony set up to a reception venue while keeping >200 people in the same space! What could have been a logistics nightmare was executed perfectly. Lauren also contributed linens, chargers, and an arch to our wedding including a very last minute addition of linen napkins. We literally didn't have to worry about these things as we knew Lauren had them handled. She created a seamless day of itinerary and the whole event flowed perfectly. On the day of, she contributed to set up, break down, coordination, sock delivery and even crawled under my dinner table to change my shoes among countless things I probably don't even know about! I never had a hair out of place as she continuously bobby pinned up anything that fell while I was out and about around the venue. I am honestly tearing up as I write this review because I know our wedding wouldn't have been as perfect as it was if not for Lauren's hard work. Highly, highly recommend Lauren for any of your wedding needs!

ce floor and danced with one of my groomsmen (who would not leave her alone haha! ) My wedding was during covid, approximately 130 guest. Everything that could have went wrong was TRYING to go wrong but Lauren took care of it without me or any of my guest knowing about it. 1.5 hrs before my wedding started my Officiant called and told me he would NOT be showing up to the wedding because someone he was around tested positive for covid (YEAH I WAS FREAKING OUT because how am I supposed to get married with no officiant!!) but Lauren quickly called around and found me an Officiant who showed up RIGHT before the ceremony started! Without her literally I would not have gotten married that day! Lol My groomsmen were being total jackasses that day and were getting way to drunk before the wedding. The best man left right before the ceremony Started with 2 other groomsmen (we had a total of 5) he was beyond drunk, wrecked his truck into a tree, got pulled over and almost got arrested and luckily barely made it back to the wedding. Lauren put her wedding planner face on and wiped those guys into shape before my wedding got canceled, because it ALMOST did because of them!!! No one knew about any of this not even me because Lauren took control and made everything happen. I’m sure this was one of the hardest groups Lauren had to deal with but she did it and I am beyond thankful for her!! She put in lots of hard work and achieved everything I asked for and more leading all the way up to the day of, all with a big smile on her face! If you are looking for an amazing, fun loving event planner who LOVES her job LAUREN with Eventsmith is the ONE!!!!! I would hire her again and again if I had to! Stress free in a pandemic and even my maid of honor/sister not being able to come because she was having my sweet baby nephew 3 weeks early! So when I say, this lady will come through for you, I mean that whole heartedly! Now let’s talk about photography and videography. YOU NEED THE BEST, so make sure you get that! Their work is absolutely stunning, and she makes sure to get all of the amazing shots that you want, not to mention how beautiful they are. She goes above and beyond for you and makes sure that she captures every special moment of your very special day. Do yourself a favor and book them!

omeone that is extremely personal and fun, BOOK HER! I am extremely type A and I know if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have been able to make it through the planning process, especially during COVID. Lauren was the biggest reason that on the day of the wedding I was running around the venue having the time of my life and not worrying a lick about anything. I ended up doing all my own centerpieces so I went through and purchased all my own decor and ATTEMPTED to organize it in a way that would be helpful for her to put out and she not only made it look PERFECT, she also did it without any help or direction from me on the day of! There were so many of my guests that commented saying it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to and it for sure would not have been that way if it wasn’t for Lauren. Also, all throughout the day, the getting ready all the way to the cleanup, she was there. I never had to wonder where she was, what was taking so long, or if there was an issue because she was always available. I even had family members talking her up days after the big day! I could go on about her for so long but I have told her over and over again that I couldn’t have done it without her. SHE WAS PERFECT!

She also made sure me and my husband were able to eat and even brought us drinks when we looked like we needed one. Everyone at our 350+ people wedding had the time of their lives and we have been getting compliments on the event ever since. We also hired her wife Jessica as our photographer who was awesome and took some amazing photos. The two made a superb team. I especially enjoyed doing our engagement photos with the duo and all four of us had a great time and ended up with a terrific spread of engagement photos. We even did our final planning over tex mex and margaritas! Thank you Lauren and Jessica for all that you did and all that you do. I'm sure you continue to impress and make everyone you work with's magical day even more magical.

The day of the wedding I got to relax and get ready and Lauren decorated and got everything ready for us to just say I do. Thank you so much for transforming my venue into what I had dreamed it looking like ! She cleaned up and packed everything up for us at the end and We both can’t thank her enough for allowing us to enjoy our wedding! I could just relax (more than I would have otherwise :) knowing she was taking care to be sure nothing fell through the cracks. She recommended great vendors and had good working relationships with them, and that made things way easier too. Our ceremony was a bit outside of the box, and she was creative in helping us to ensure a good flow. I HIGHLY recommend that folks get a planner, you literally cannot be center stage and managing all the issues going on behind the scenes at an event like this. This particular day only happens once. Never for a second did we regret hiring a coordinator, and hiring Lauren in particular! We both so appreciated Lauren's expert assistance, her recommendation for vendors, and day-of coordinating!! There were also so many small details she attended to that were awesome, like helping me bustle the dress and packing to-go meals for us for the end of the night (it's true--you really won't get much time to eat at you receptions!). So much more to say, but we highly recommend Lauren & EventSmith for your events!

We loved her idea for the timeline of the wedding, and it really made everything flow! On the wedding day, Lauren is all business - which is what you need! auren exceeded every expectation and went beyond her "duties" as day of coordinator. She was by my side every step of the way and I could never thank her enough for that. She was prompt, professional, and her heart is pure gold. I would honestly do this day over a million times if I could have Lauren with me again. My husband and I started with just trying to find a wedding coordinator, we ended with finding a friend (we still keep in contact today). We absolutely love Lauren and EventSmith and can't recommend her enough.

She will make sure your day is absolutely PERFECT and just how you want it! She gives you timelines to follow, a timeline for the day of your wedding, she makes sure all vendors are there, and makes sure everything is where it needs to be! She kept us on schedule the whole day of our wedding (which is a HUGE task to begin with). Our ceremony started exactly when it was supposed to, ate when we were supposed to, cut the cake, and had our grand exit right when we were supposed to leave! Someone asked me, "did anything go wrong the day of the wedding?". I said, "if it did, I had NO idea and I still have NO idea! Which means if anything did happen, Lauren took care of it so I wouldn't stress about it". We had the most stress-free wedding and it was ALL because of Lauren with EventSmith! LOVE HER!
