Desiree and her lovely team made our wedding so seemless and special. We couldn't be more thankful!

We had an outdoor wedding and reception in the club house. Undoubtedly beautiful venue. If weather permits, the outdoor setting is a literal dream. We stayed at "the inn" afterwards with friends; it takes a charming vintage feel. A hidden gem in northern VA. The director of events, Desiree, is on top of her game. 10/10 would recommend

I honestly wish I didn’t have to write a bad review about this venue because I’ve been planning my wedding my whole life. Lisa at the inn is the only reason this place gets even one star. I barely heard from the country club after I booked my event with them. I originally booked with a woman who left, and I’m sorry I stayed with this venue after. I had a large wedding (196 guests) at this venue, and I regret not going with a venue that would care about hosting such a monumental event in a young woman’s life. The morning of my wedding the servers bridesmaids ham & tuna sandwiches (not separately-ham & tuna in the same sandwich). My “day of coordinator” that you $250 for didn’t even say hello to me when she got there. Everyone was confused, and my cousin ended up having run around as my coordinator. The director of events was supposed to be the day of contact for my vendors, and I literally spoke to the person dropping off the cakes and the transportation services for my guests to and from my hotel as I was getting ready to walk down the isle (Thankfully I had my phone!). The ceremony was beautiful….but luckily that’s because nothing could take away the joy of marrying my husband. On to the reception….they had about 8/9 servers working for almost 200 guests (side note I do events….and that’s insane!!!) and 1 bartender at each bar, needless to say there was slow service. Then…comes to dinner. It was served to me and my husband COLD and the risotto was undercooked. My husband literally had asked the banquet team if they needed help because we looked around and saw so many guest who hadn’t received food 20/25 minutes after we had been served. I was so embarrassed. My dj was great so the party went well…but the bar started shutting down at 10:15 and the event was not over until 11:30. The icing on the cake…she threw away my cake topper the night of the wedding. When my mother and sister went by in the morning to pick up our centerpieces, and my cake topper, she said “she threw it out because she thought I didn’t want it.” I don’t know, and I don’t want to speculate as to why we received such horrible service from this venue. Again, Lisa at the inn is FANTASTIC. I would never recommend this place for an event. They ruined what was suppose to be the best day of my life!!

Evergreen Country Club was an absolute DREAM! Such a beautiful venue!!! Between the stone garden for the ceremony and the newly renovated ballroom with new flooring and light fixtures, we could not have asked for a more perfect venue. Also, the real MVP of our wedding day was Desiree. She was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I had purchased all of my own table decor (candles, candle holders, greenery, table signs, etc.) and she put together my tables FLAWLESSLY! I walked into the reception space and cried! She really brought all of my visions to life and executed it exactly how I had wanted. Not only did she help make the tables and reception space beautiful, but her attention to detail and extraordinary service helped make our day as fantastic as it was. She went absolutely above and beyond for us. She even packed everything up perfectly for us at the end of the night. She is fantastic at what she does and it shows. Our day truly wouldn't have been the same without her! Also, we had SO many guests come up to us and tell us how amazing the food was! And immediately after the ceremony, they had a server come out with champagne and appetizers just for the bridal party/family to have right before we went off to take pictures. Their attention to detail and special little touches like this really helped make our day so perfect! We are SO glad we went with Evergreen as our venue and recommend them highly!!!!!! ALSO-- we booked the entire Inn for our bridal party and that was SO FUN! The house is huge and a GREAT way to have all your bridesmaids/groomsmen together for the weekend. The rooms are beautiful and so spacious! Highly recommend renting that out for your weekend as well!!

Evergreen was absolutely beautiful and so accommodating. It was very stress free too! My groom is Deaf and they were very willing to do anything we needed with a smile! The coordinator was super friendly and gave suggestions to make my dream wedding a reality. My guests can’t stop raving about how amazing the venue was and how friendly the staff was! I didn’t have to do much of anything, but enjoy my special day. You won’t regret using this venue.

Desiree went above and beyond for us! We had gone through 2 other coordinators during our wedding planning and I was honestly nervous. We ended up being one of her first weddings and she couldn’t have been a better fit for us. She was so patient during our rehearsal, having to wrangle 20+ people together and having to do it both inside and outside in case of rain. She and the staff was so detail oriented with my decor, and tables and executed it exactly as I had requested it. They went as far as removing price stickers I had forgotten! What I’m most grateful for is The kindness and patience shown to me regarding the impending weather. I hardly had to stress about it because I was able to hold off deciding where to hold the ceremony until an hour before. I’m so thankful for this as we ended up with sunshine minutes before walking down the aisle. A moment I’ll never forget! Desiree is a rockstar for dealing with my many details, my large bridal party and all my family with grace. Thank you so much for being a huge part of our day!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Evergreen Country Club, and could not be happier with how the day turned out. The scenery at Evergreen is absolutely stunning, and was a major attraction when looking at venues. The service and professionalism of everyone at Evergreen really stood out to us. We want to give special thanks to Desiree, the director of events at Evergreen. She was instrumental in ensuring every part of the day was perfect, from the time my bridesmaids and I got ready in the morning, until our final send off at the end of the night. She is incredibly responsive, and put our minds at ease as soon as we met her, because we knew our wedding was in the hands of a true professional. I was worried about not having flowers for my sweetheart table, but Desiree had already procured flowers from our arch, and had them set up and ready before our grand entrance. It was so many of these small things that Desiree did that made her and Evergreen so exceptional. The food served (we went with chicken and steak) was phenomenal, and had friends and family tell us how much they enjoyed their dinners. We spent the night at the Inn at Evergreen, and it was incredible. It is a beautiful space, and we were blown away by the honeymoon suite. We highly recommend Evergreen to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

Evergreen was the perfect location for our wedding. We had to reschedule twice, and they were so understanding each time. The venue is BEAUTIFUL - inside and out, pictures really don't do it justice. They set up the ballroom beautifully for our wedding, and our servers could not have been more kind. However, the real stand out was our day-of coordinator, Cassi. Cassi was endlessly helpful, incredibly kind, and truly made our day special. She made sure everything was taken care of, from the timing of each event to setting up our audio guest book for us. I could not more highly recommend Evergreen and specifically Cassi!

Evergreen Country Club and the Inn at Evergreen is an gorgeous venue for a wedding or special event. The ceremony courtyard is beyond beautiful with the Mountain View and well maintained. The ballroom makes for a beautiful reception and the food was delicious. Leah the event coordinator was so helpful and easy to work with. She handled all the details and made our wedding day to so smooth. She helped to make our postponed wedding a dream come true working with us with all the unknowns. Lisa the Innkeeper was so easy to work with and made our overall experience perfect for our wedding night stay! I highly recommend Evergreen CC for a wedding!

We got married at Evergreen Country Club on November 1, 2020 and it was our dream wedding venue! Since I was a little girl, I’ve always wanted an outdoor fall wedding and Evergreen’s views are just priceless. I knew from the day we did the venue tour that I wanted to get married there. Their ceremony garden grounds naturally have the PERFECT ceremony backdrop! Leah Ferezan was such a huge help during the planning process and during the day of. She gave advice on local vendors, was always available to talk, and was all around the sweetest person to work with. I wouldn’t change anything about our big day because Evergreen was that amazing. Our guests are still talking about the view during the outdoor ceremony and their wonderful stay at the Inn at Evergreen. Also, the honeymoon suite at the Inn was a DREAM! We are so happy with how our wedding weekend turned out. Evergreen Country Club is the perfect wedding venue!!!!

This venue is a one stop shop. It has everything that is needed for your wedding day. Gorgeous scenery, lodging on site, breathtaking venue for your ceremony, beautiful reception area, lots of great places to take your bride and groom pictures and an AMAZING staff. Evergreen country club was our first choice and no other venues compared. Leah made sure everything went over perfectly that day meeting all of our needs and answering all of our questions. All of our guests complimented how spectacular this location was, especially in the fall. Evergreen Country Club will always hold a special place in our hearts forever.

This venue was perfect! We got married November 2nd and the colors of the foliage was at its best and luckily it wasn’t too hot or cold! All our guests complimented the ceremony and reception. We really loved the historic feel and the on site inn really added to it. I cannot begin to express how beautiful our ceremony was. The food was great. We had the duet plate with a chicken dish and beef. I highly recommend that if you do not want to deal with figuring out what people want to eat. We also had a soup instead of a salad, which was a great choice based on the rave reviews from our guests! Leah, the coordinator, was sweet and made sure that all concerns were put at ease. She knew how to really execute everything in how we wanted it! We also really lucked out since we got the package to get a free night at the inn for the honeymoon suite which we used for our wedding night. The room over looks the ceremony and we had some of the most impressive pictures just from the ambiance the room had to offer. Overall I cannot speak to how perfect this venue was and how reasonable it was as well! You won’t be sorry!

Evergreen is beautiful! The stone garden was a perfect place for our vows. Leah was so great. The inn is perfect to have your closest family and friends with you during this special time in your lives!

We were recommended to Evergreen by a friend who was a member and it was the BEST decision we ever made! The venue is not only beautiful but the staff is incredible and so attentive. Leah was a joy to work with and very responsive to all of my crazy questions. Our day could not have run smoother or gone any better and it wouldn't have been that way without Leah and her staff.

Our wedding was PERFECT. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. I wanted one location for both the ceremony & reception, I didn’t want to worry with caterers and calculating alcohol, I wanted to have a day of coordinator, etc. Evergreen checked every box & more. My guests were impressed & we heard nothing but wonderful feedback from everyone. We loved working with Leah. It was so helpful having her keep track of everything . She was a huge help answering all my questions. I dropped off items on Thursday, went over everything with Leah & Cassi, & they set it up perfectly on Saturday. I didn’t have to worry about a thing! The day of the wedding was stress-free! During the planning process, we were a bit put off that the tasting didn’t include food from the tier we selected. Leah allowed us another complimentary tasting where we were able to try what was covered. I am so glad because the food from our tier was amazing!There was no reason to upgrade. Ask about the food in the tasting before deciding to attend the group tasting over a private one. Look for events. I attended a bridal event at Evergreen where I got to try some hors devours. Either way, the food is amazing. We had the duet meal and my guests were happy to have both chicken & steak. Our meal: grilled boneless chicken breast with herb velouté & petite sirloin steak with demi-glaze, spinach soufflé, French green beans with shallots. We chose mushroom risotto for our vegetarian option. Our guests raved about the food. My suggestion for cocktail hour: Take time after pictures to have a private cocktail hour for the two of you. My husband & I sat down at one of the tables in the stone conservatory at the Inn. I am so glad we did that. It was time just for us & we were able to talk about the day, the ceremony, etc. before heading into the reception. Just remind the staff to bring hot food…and a drink along with it - that would be my only complaint. My husband had to go up to the room to bring us bottles of water because we didn’t even have that. Book the whole Inn! We reserved with a deposit & were able to get the full deposit back once all the guests had booked their room. My mom, aunt & I stayed in room 320 the night before. We brought a lot of things for the wedding & we had my bridal party meet in the room first that morning. The room was perfect & had plenty of room for all of us to hang out. Our immediate family & some of the bridal party stayed Saturday night. We had brunch together on Sunday. Everyone raved about their stay. Lisa the Innkeeper, is amazing! She brought luggage to the rooms as guests arrived. She also moved our items from room 320 to the rooms we were staying in Saturday & moved bags inside rooms for my bridal party, so they didn't have to leave getting their hair/makeup done. The honeymoon suite is beautiful & with your wedding package, you get to stay there for free whether you book the Inn or not. My bridal party & I headed over to the suite for robe pictures & pictures of me getting into my dress. It was so fun watching the guests arrive to the ceremony below. After the bridesmaids were summoned to begin their entrance, it was just my dad & I looking out the window over the ceremony. It was such a special moment just the two of us. My husband & I had a lovely stay in the suite. I spent the first morning of married life soaking in the jetted tub. Have your wedding at Evergreen. The pictures will be amazing & your day will be perfect!

We celebrated the wedding of my daughter last Sat. From our first meeting to the ceremony I felt so comfortable with the staff. Leah is a professional in her field. She quickly communicates with answers or suggestions. Leah can’t work 24/7 so Cassi seamlessly took over after dinner making sure the wedding continued as planned. The food for cocktail hour and dinner was delicious. They provided generous portions. Servers were neat and attentive. There are a lot of worries/stress that can go on planning a wedding but Evergreen kept that away with their attention to our details. Seriously this is the place to have the wedding of your dreams.

If you are having your wedding in Northern VA, you MUST have it at the Evergreen Country Club! Beyond any doubt, this event venue was PERFECT! Not only was the food outstanding, but the location and scenery cannot be beat! Combine that with the AMAZING staff Leah has and you just cannot go wrong. This venue and their staff simply made our day perfect!

Evergreen Country Club was fantastic and a joy to work with. With a March wedding the weather was bound to be iffy, but Evergreen offered to set up both inside and outside locations just incase (luckily the weather cooperated!). Leah (our point of contact) was professional, helpful, and always answered any of our (many, many) questions promptly and thoroughly and kept in touch as the day approached. She walked us through the rehearsal the day before, and made sure we were taken care of in the bridal suite the day-of. This was especially helpful since my mother and aunt have mobility issues; Leah and her crew were fantastic helping them. (Mom stayed at the Inn at Evergreen and loved it). They were extremely accommodating when we needed to finagle some of the timing, and they made it easy to drop off decorations, desserts etc. the day before. The food was fantastic! Our guests were talking about the food days later (seriously, get the whipped potatoes, you will not regret it) and they let us bring in extra desserts to supplement theirs. And the outside balcony was perfect to step away and get some fresh air at our cigar bar. At our request they even made up “to-go” bags with left overs for us so we could actually relax and enjoy the food later that night! We certainly recommend the Evergreen Country Club. The scenic location and friendly service make this venue a must see.

I knew from the moment I stepped on the Evergreen lot that I wanted to have our wedding there. The venue is breathtaking and full of charm. From the outdoor ceremony venue to the Bridal Suite, I was so impressed by every facet of professionalism and beauty in Evergreen. Leah was sweet and personable, prompt in responding to emails and getting information, flexible in dealing with changes and a powerhouse all around! The day of was HOT, and the team made sure our wedding party and photographers were hydrated and fed! I’ve heard from so many couples that they were unable to eat at their wedding, but we were specifically brought food so that we could stay focused on the important things. The Hors d'oeuvres and Dinner were all amazing! Our wedding was stress-free and wonderful, and the Evergreen team contributed so much to that! Thank you Evergreen!

Evergreen is a great value for its beauty and location! They do upcharge for A LOT, so make sure to really read the contract and figure out what exactly you want to calculate the costs. Brandon was exceptional day of in dealing with the lack of air-conditioning, and Leah spent a lot of time back and forth with myself making sure everything was in place.

My husband, parents and I have nothing but great things to say about our wedding at Evergreen Country Club. The location and facilities are gorgeous and the staff is helpful, responsive and accommodating. Our guests cannot stop raving about how beautiful the ceremony garden is, and how much they enjoyed the wrap around terrace for cocktail hour. The banquet hall overlooking the golf course is an elegant location for the reception. Evergreen has everything you could possibly need for the reception, which saves you from having another vendor to rent equipment from. Leah, the event coordinator, was beyond helpful throughout the entire planning process leading up to the wedding, answering my many frequent questions promptly and keeping the whole process very organized. She is wonderful to work with. My bridesmaids and I really enjoyed getting ready in the big, airy and sunny bridal suite in the clubhouse. And my husband and I loved staying in the absolutely gorgeous Evergreen Inn that evening. I highly recommend Evergreen Country Club!

My husband and I were very pleased with our wedding ceremony and reception at Evergreen. Danielle and Brooke were extremely helpful and informative on the day of and during the planning process. Whenever my husband or I had questions, they got back to us quickly. On the day of, we hired them for day of coordination services, which I highly recommend. They took the stress and worry out of it for us and made sure everyone was where they needed to be and we followed the time lines. For dinner, we did the Stations Package and it was delicious! Everyone raved about how wonderful the food was! Thanks for a beautiful day!

Brooke and Danielle at Evergreen Country Club were so amazing to work with throughout the wedding planning process as well as the rehearsal and wedding day . I was planning the wedding from a distance and they were very patient and timely in responding to any questions I had. My mom went to Evergreen numerous times to see how my decorations looked at the venue and to take pictures for me and either Brooke or Danielle always cleared their schedules to meet with her. I highly recommend using Evergreen's day-of wedding coordinator services-Brooke and Danielle kept everything running so smoothly and it kept a load off mine and my parent's shoulder during the ceremony and reception. Thanks to their assistance, I had the wedding of my dreams! Thanks Brooke and Danielle!

Evergreen was spectacular. The venue was beautiful, both the new club house and the historic part of the property, as well as the views outside of the mountainside. The coordinators were extremely helpful and willing to adjust things to work with us. They were also great when it came to making sure my dad, who was in a wheelchair most of the night, was still able to do all the things a father hopes to do at his daughters wedding. They were flexible when it came down to needing to move the ceremony inside due to weather(or in our case, Hurricane Sandy) and extremely quick once the indoor ceremony was over at getting the chairs moved and put away so that we could use the room as more space during the reception. The food was delicious and they had lots of options for how to put the menu together. All in all, they played a huge part in making the day perfect.

The country club has a historic house in the front, which we used as the backdrop for our ceremony. As we were looking for a place with scenic views and a historic feel, this place fit the bill, and really added a lot to both the moments, and the photographs. We worked with Karen and Brooke for all preparations, and they were both very accommodating and helpful, even excited about our unorthodox theme. They will volunteer suggestions based on what they know works well, but are also very open to whatever changes you request. We were not sure at first if we wanted a coordinator, but it was definitely worth the money. Karen made sure everything was setup for us, including a large amount of DIY things we created and brought to the venue. Karen did a marvelous job of seeing after the guests on the big day, even making on the fly changes to accommodate the heat. We also choose this venue due to the menu selection being both diverse and gourmet. We did the buffet menu and all our guests had nothing but praise. Even my husband, who was unable to attend the tasting, loved everything we selected.

Karen and Brooke were so nice. Karen was on top of things and I had no issues. She kept things going, came up to me or my husband and let us know what was going in a timely manner. Our guest were very please with the venue and the view. It over looked the mountains, which was a beatiful site. I would highly commend Evergreen Country Club to anyone. They made it so easy, they returned my calls in a timely manner and never seemed tired of me calling them.

My husband and i got marrief at Evergreen April 7, 2012. I hired Karen as my day of wedding coordinator and it was so worth it. She did an amazing job, It looked just like I wanted it to. Brooke was also there to help. They kept everything on schedule and made the day run very smooth! They made sure I had nothing to worrie about on our big day! They even asked what mine and my husbands favorite drink was so that they could keep it coming! The backdrop for the wedding was perfect as well, not like they could really control that though! Very friendly people to work with and the waitstaff was awesome! If I could go back and change anything about our wedding picking this place would not be it. I would recommend Evergreen to anybody!

Ever since I set foot on their grounds, I was ecstatic about having my wedding there. I'm glad that even after my wedding is over, I still feel the same way. Their location is incredible, ceremony site beautiful, photo opportunities endless, prices reasonable, food DELICIOUS! I am so lucky to have found this place...it's set back in the countryside. Every time I was there, I loved it - just so peaceful. Their wedding coordinators are great, too, and cater to your every need. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone.

My (now) husband and I were sold on Evergreen as soon as we saw the venue. The country club is beautiful, and having a ceremony that overlooked the mountains is exactly what my husband and I were looking for. On the wedding day itself, the staff at Evergreen went above and beyond any expectations that we had for any venue. As per the other reviews- the food was phenomenal (a LOT of compliments from guests, and some were even asking for the recipes), and they were extremely easy to work with. They helped us with every little detail along the way, and took care of everything on the day itself so we had nothing to worry about. Beyond that, though, the way that they took care of our guests is what really impressed my husband and I, and let us know that we couldn't have made a better choice in venues. One of our guests was having chest pains during the cocktail hour, and Evergreen took care of everything- they made sure an ambulance came out to the club for our guest, and paid for a limo to take her immediate family members to the hospital so they could be with her. Evergreen refused to let our family pay for the limo, and were genuinely concerned for the safety and health of our guest. Most of our other guests who were not immediately involved in the unfortunate event had no idea that anything was even going on; the employees at Evergreen were so good at making sure that everything was taken care of smoothly and quietly, so as to not draw attention to the family of our sick guest. (we are happy to report that she is doing well now) I'm so glad that we went with Evergreen and would HIGHLY recommend it to anybody. They are absolutely everything that you could look for in a venue, and will make sure to do everything they can to make your big day a memorable one.

I couldn't be happier with Evergreen and Brooke, the coordinator! I searched high and low for a venue that would suit all of our needs and Evergreen had all of it and more, and for the best value! All of my family and friends were so impressed with the venue and the amenities that came along with it. My wedding was better than I ever dreamed it would be! Evergreen is willing to work with you in anyway that you need! They even provide centerpieces! This is a money saving venue but it seems as if no expense was spared! You also can't beat the AMAZING scenery with the mountains in the background and the beautiful ivy covered stone walls - just gorgeous!

This place is beautiful and such a low cost. What I also loved is that everything is included so you don't need to figure out a caterer, linens, settings, centerpieces, etc. Brooke, who handles weddings at Evergreen, is really great and was helpful for me especially since I lived so far away and had to do so much by email.
