We don't have enough words of praise and appreciation for April and her help on our wedding day! From our initial meeting she was prompt, organized, and had answers to our questions and offered suggestions and solutions where we were stumped or unsure of what to do. She helped keep us on track for getting the last minute preparations done leading up to the wedding like checking in with vendors, getting our marriage license, etc.
April was at our rehearsal and was able to make sure everyone in our large wedding party knew where to be and when, the flow of things, and the expectations. She was kind but confident in keeping things on track!
When it was finally our wedding day, April was able to ensure all of our decor was set up and taken care of properly. Down to the last flower and candle, everything was in place! Our outdoor wedding hit some snags with some cold, rainy fall weather but April was able to help coordinate and manage the whole thing. She dried the chairs for our guests, set up the outdoor decor at the last moment, and even went above and beyond by helping me (the bride) with my dress during my first look and as I walked up to the ceremony site to keep it clean. She checked in with my husband and I throughout the evening just often enough and even helped get us drinks while we settled in at the head table.
As the wedding continued April never missed a beat. Honestly, it would have been a hot mess without her! Between the rain, vendors not showing up/being late, our cake having some issues, etc. she handled it all like a boss and I didn't even flinch a little since I knew she had everything handled and under control. Following our wedding April was still assisting us- she reminded us of some post-wedding to dos, and followed up with the vendors that dropped the ball on our day to help us reach a resolution. My parents were skeptical of my desire to have a wedding coordinator, but the whole evening they couldn't stop encouraging our family and friends to hire her for when their children get married!
Hands down the best decision was hiring April! If you are on the fence about a coordinator...DO IT but make sure it is Evergreen Weddings & Events!! Thank you April!
