When you first start planning a wedding, you don’t really understand the full value of a wedding planner. Did we need help picking out dinner plates? We learned very quickly that it’s a lot more than that.
From the start, Juliana helped us space out the planning process so it was stress-free. We booked her for a partial planning package, but the amount of effort and care she put into guiding us along the way was above and beyond.
As we got closer to the wedding day, Juliana took over the vendor communications, so we didn’t have to know the correct number of dessert plates to rent, or what time our DJ needed to arrive - she just took care of it.
Juliana’s expertise in all things wedding is readily evident, and something we relied on constantly, especially because she has planned so many weddings at our venue, The Griffin House. She knew the venue’s quirks, which furniture items we should (and should not!) plan to use, and the ideal timeline to optimize for sunset and wind levels at the location.
We could bring all sorts of questions, big or small, to her and she could help us figure out which was right for us, or what had worked in the past. Knowing what has worked–or gone awry–at other weddings is knowledge we would never have on our own.
On the day of our wedding, Juliana was conductor of the entire vendor team. I felt so relaxed, knowing that she was keeping everybody on-plan and on-schedule. She and her assistant incorporated our personal decor pieces in such a beautiful design, and our family didn’t have to lift a finger to prepare the chairs, the dinner tables, the decor, or anything.
Beyond her skills and the incredible value of her service, Juliana is such a kind, warm person. I was so happy to have her calm presence on the day of the wedding, she really made our whole family feel supported.

We knew going in that we were going to need a "all hands on deck" type of planner so we opted for her full-service package and from our very first meeting we got everything we needed and more. She fully invested into us, our vision, and making our dream wedding a reality. Kind, intelligent, creative, communicative, transparent, proactive, supportive, deeply knowledgeable, highly organized, extremely efficient, *endlessly* patient, and a consummate professional—Juliana embodies everything you could hope for in a planner. as bride and groom have very demanding careers, and being from out of town we were a bit lost with where to start. Juliana presented multiple options for each vendor and brought a lot of visibility to the timeline we should adhere to in order to not get stressed. We had 200, 100, 60, and 30-day milestones and even though we left A LOT until about 60-75 days out, Juliana effectively managed all vendor communication and stayed on top of us to make sure we still had everything we needed. Beyond just the planning, we were the type of couple who knew the vibe and feeling we wanted in our wedding night without an exact script we wanted to stick to in terms of the aesthetics. Juliana helped to coax out an exact vision and was the ONLY reason we were able to execute it. On the day of, she addressed every obstacle that came up and made the day extremely comfortable for our guests. Life was feeling new and crazy, but Juliana was our constant. She became more to us than a planner, she became our friend. She showed my parents our wedding venue, patiently answering all of their questions. When we moved across the country, wedding planning sessions became incredibly comforting. She was on top of it. Our lives were feeling hectic and Juliana was always there to calm it down. I would text her frantically, she would answer calmly. She narrowed down my lists, “you do this, I’ll do that.” By the time our wedding came, my entire family knew Juliana. When she arrived the morning of my wedding, I couldn’t wait to hug her. July 27 was the most perfect, magical day of our lives. I’m sure there were little problems arising left and right, but Juliana helped make it feel like every single thing was perfectly perfect. I was blindly in love, dancing the night away. At the end of the night, my (now!) husband and I hugged Juliana. She had become family. To have Juliana as your planner is truly a gift. She cares.
