Perfection meets excellence meets grace! What more can we say? Our wedding, planned and executed by Krystal and her team, has been called the best wedding ever attended by at least 30 of our family and friends who came to celebrate. Each moment became intimate and all of our wants and desires became reality in the well-coordinated and beautifully staged event. We started planning a year ahead from afar. New Orleans holds special memories for us and not living a state away presented some special challenges. Krystal made the thought and experience possible and flawless. For a large event or an intimate celebration we could not imagine our past year of planning for our wedding (with a new baby as well!) going more smoothly. We had an amazing experience with Krystle for our October celebration in New Orleans. She worked with us for almost two years creating our perfect wedding! From start to finish, everything was executed flawlessly. Her attention to detail was impressive, reflecting our vision perfectly, and her creative touch added a magical atmosphere. Everything on the day was perfect! We were on time, there were no hiccups - at least that we saw :), and we were completely stress-free. Krystle is so incredible that I don’t even know where to begin with this review, so I’m just going to launch right into it.
I believe the phrase “above and beyond” was probably invented for Krystle. She will be your mother, your sister, your best friend, and your most trusted advisor all at once, and you can bet there will be a gorgeous, joyful smile on her face the entire time. There is nothing this woman cannot handle or do, and hiring her was honestly the best wedding decision I made. No matter what came up before or during the wedding, Krystle was unflappable, and her experience and skill allowed her to navigate easily through every surprise inconvenience.
I’m a designer with high standards and expectations, so having a wedding out of state was difficult for me, since I had to put so much faith in other people. I interviewed every wedding planner in New Orleans (no, but really ALL OF THEM) and no one impressed me the way Krystle did—and that was just over the phone. She’s cool, sharp, graceful, and charming, and I trusted her gut and capabilities from the start. I know that I couldn’t have had the same perfect outcome if anyone else had been in charge, so my gratitude for her is endless… But what I’m most grateful for is to now count her as a friend.
The number one decision we made for our wedding was hiring Krystle Burger. Working with her for a little over a year was such a joy - she is fun, responsive, creative, helpful and truly became a friend. She helped me remain calm and on task and would not stop at anything until I was happy with every choice - despite being based in NYC and only able to come to NOLA a couple times before the wedding. She tells you her honest opinion but with kind, southern charm. She has a fantastic sense of humor and when we met any roadblocks, together we would roll with the punches. On the day of the wedding she was a DREAM. I cannot tell you how many compliments I got on my fantastic wedding planner from my family, friends and anyone who knew just how much work goes into a wedding and how important a planner is. We were met with low chances of rain/wind/coldfronts on the wedding weekend and she helped me make my decisions about tenting etc with confidence. Seriously she is THE BEST! My husband, family and I love her and loved all the time we had the pleasure of spending with her through our visits to NOLA and our wedding weekend. I miss her already!
I cannot thank Krystle enough for all that she did for us on our wedding day. It was easily the best day of my life, and I can confidently say that I would not have been able to feel that way without her help! The stress she took off our plates made ALL the difference. Me, my husband, and my parents are forever thankful!!! Krystle and Shelby really made it all possible! The number one piece of advice I’d give a bride getting married in New Orleans is to hire Krystle as your wedding planner. Out of everything I did in my two years of wedding planning, that was 100% the BEST decision I made! I only wish I would’ve come to Krystle sooner! If you want focus on the things that really matter and truly enjoy your wedding day, do yourself a favor and hire Krystle!!!

From the beginning, she was everything we could have asked for. She helped us with some of our tougher decisions and, as the groom here, she was a sounding board for my wife's vision that, by that time, I'd heard far too much about (but wound up loving in the end!)
When the big day drew closer and finally arrived, we didn't have to worry about a thing - she took care of it all. And she is so efficient and meticulous, there was essentially nothing she needed to ask us during the event. She knew how to handle everything that came up and left us to dance and drink and pose for pictures. She made it all look so effortless!
I don't know how anyone could do it better. Every vendor we had enjoyed working with her, every wedding party member raved about her and her people. The venue staff, the band, everyone enjoyed working with Everly Event Planning & Design.
Call Krystle - if you're as lucky as we were, it could be the start of a whole host of great wedding plans to come.
20/10 would book again and will use for any future events. Krystle is a god send to this earth that I couldn’t love more! She took my very complicated wedding day timeline and put structure and ease to it all. The day was perfect and seamless and so stress free. You always hear that something will go wrong, but Krystle achieved the impossible because it was flawless!
I used her for month of planning, but don’t think that means she only helps out the month of. Because of all the Covid hype I quickly booked wedding and reception venues and photographer before I even got around to the wedding coordinator. When I contacted her, she was all on board with planning and coordinating but didn’t push a full on planner since I had already done a lot of that work (plus I’m a corporate lawyer and she quickly knew that I wouldn’t be able to fully remove myself from planning). Immediate bonus points for not pushing for more than was necessary and reading me so well. She was always there to answer questions when I needed more florist options or transportation recommendations. And month of, she came in and took EVERYTHING off my plate.
Month and day of, seriously, Krystle was perfect. She acted as a barrier and made sure no one contacted me; they contacted her and if she couldn’t answer the questions she would reach out to me. Having one person as the POC and being able to remove yourself from the planning so that you can enjoy your wedding bliss is necessary. She knew how to run the show and deal with a crisis (we had a little snaffu with our second line permit that was quickly resolved). Day of, she rolled with the punches, moved the 150 person wedding seamlessly from one location to the second to the third and no one thought it was overwhelming or confusing.
I’ve had everyone telling me how it was the best wedding they’ve ever been too and I have krystle to thank for pulling it all together. Couldn’t have done it without her. If you are looking for a wedding planner or coordinator, look no further. You won’t find anyone better or more organized in New Orleans. Seriously, I want to be friends with Krystle she is that amazing; you will too!

Where to begin?? I called a few different planners before speaking with Krystle, once our initial consult was done, I knew she was the one to work with! Throughout the whole process, she was incredibly helpful with allllllll my questions (big or small). She was always easy to get in touch with and responded quickly. Without her, our wedding would've been nowhere near as perfect as it was. Leading up to the wedding, I had no anxiety because I knew the day was in good hands. Even when my MUA got covid a week out from the wedding and I had to scramble to find a new one! She provided great alternatives and wasn't stressed about it (which made me calmer!). Everything went perfectly and I am so thankful that I had Krystle there.

From her communication with your vendors, her help with making decisions with the venue, to her knowledge of New Orleans, there is no one better. She had the greatest attitude from the day that she started working with us, and only made life easier through this process!!!! Any question we had, or issue come up, Krystle guided us through it, making this entire process as smooth as possible.
My experience with Krystle was absolutely amazing…and I would say overall magical. We started this planning process in January 2020–yes, before the pandemic. Initially we found Krystle purely by chance and once we spoke on the phone I knew she was the perfect fit for us. As time went on we decided to book her and the planning begun. Due to the pandemic we had to reschedule the wedding twice…and Krystle did not skip a beat. She maintained all of our original vendors and handled every vendor contract with care…not once…not twice…but three times. Words are not enough to describe how honored we are to have had such an incredible planner on our side during one of the craziest times in history. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect and my husband and I did not lift a single finger the whole day. Forever grateful for our experience with Krystle and I know that anyone who books her will feel the exact same way. Truly an All-star planner!

There is no planner better than Krystle! She has all the qualities you need in a perfect planner. First, Krystle is an extremely proactive communicator. I constantly was getting clear, kind, and firm communication from her. She actively communicated with all my vendors and worked with each one of them to ensure a smooth wedding planning process. If I had any worries, Krystle immediately addressed them and communicated with all appropriate parties to make me feel at ease. Second, Krystle is soooo organized. She kept note of all our ideas and reminded me when any and all contracts and payments were due. She organized a perfect schedule for the wedding day and kept everything in tact. While focusing on the big picture, she made sure all the tiny details were also addressed. I always felt like things were in great control! Third, Krystle is extremely adaptable and flexible. She will tackle anything thrown her way with grace and a great attitude. She is very decisive and is able to make a good judgment call when necessary. This is important...especially when you are an indecisive bride! Fourth, Krystle is smart and talented. Krystle listened to me, knew my budget, and executed my vision within it. I let her take control of the design and she exceeded any and all expectations. You can tell she is knowledgable and has a lot of experience under her belt. Finally, Krystle is such a positive energy!! Krystle always made me feel excited about my wedding. When I saw Krystle on my wedding day, she made me feel so good and happy. She went out of her way to make the wedding planning process special, and I will always appreciate that! I could keep going, but the bottom line is that Krystle is an amazing wedding planner that will not let you down. I truly believe she is as good as it gets.
I wish I could give 6 stars -- no 10 stars!! I cannot recommend Krystle highly enough!!!! We met Krystle YEARS ago when we were planning our wedding for April 2021. Well, like so many others we had to push things back a year. She handled every difficult situation with grace and calmness. She has this amazing way of getting things done but not seeming like a drill sergeant and communicating clearly while also being super friendly. My wedding party and other guests were all so impressed by her on the day of the wedding. She also has great relationships with my other vendors which made the day flow easier and things so much more fun. Krystle is perceptive and I felt like she really got to know my partner, Van and I, so she could help us create the wedding day of our dreams. Her every suggestion was spot on and small tweaks to my ideas made things more efficient, cost-effective, and also sometimes even cooler than I could have imagined.
We were on the fence about even having a wedding -- it seemed like so much work and money and then with the pandemic ugh. But Krystle was there every step of the way and made the planning and event itself FUN and EASY. After everything, it was hands-down the best weekend of my life and I couldn't have done it without Everly Event planning. If you want someone who gets people, takes care of business, and is just a joy to know -- go with Krystle!
Krystle was the biggest blessing for our wedding in New Orleans. My fiancé and I live in Dallas and would have been stressed to high heaven if we didn’t have someone on the ground in New Orleans pulling it all together. Krystle was professional at all times and always so supportive when I was stressing out. She helped our family tremendously and I can’t recommend her enough. If I needed something, she made it happen. She is incredible and became a MOM in the middle of all the craziness that is planning a wedding and we didn’t even skip a beat!!! That’s true talent if I have ever seen it and speaks to how well her management skills are. She really is super woman and undoubtedly an amazing mother.

I cannot stress this enough— you NEED to hire Krystle if you’re getting married in New Orleans! She helped us navigate TWO wedding postponements due to COVID-19, and was extremely gracious, helpful, and kind during a time filled with so much stress and anxiety. We hired Krystle for month-of coordination, and she went above and beyond for close to TWO YEARS. Krystle was there to answer every panicked email, and continuously reassured me with her calming presence. She’s incredibly responsive and organized, and overall just a pleasure to work with. At a time where other vendors were charging us extra fees for wedding postponements, Krystle refused. Her professionalism is top notch, and you can tell she really cares for her customers.
Krystle can handle ANY situation thrown at her, trust me. The bridal suite flooded on the night of our wedding due to old plumbing, and Krystle wasn’t phased at all. She’s always ready to jump in and help, and remains unflappable no matter what’s going on.
If you are on the fence about hiring Krystle, please DO IT. You won’t regret working with her. I truly don’t know what we would have done without her! Hands down the best investment we made during the entire wedding process.
Hiring Krystle to plan our wedding was hands down the BEST decision we made for our big day. We started the planning process knowing that we wanted the day to feel intimate, sweet and timeless. Krystle totally understood our vision from day 1, ran with it and executed it flawlessly. Every vendor we used was incredible thanks to Krystle’s recommendations. I had a million questions and Krystle answered them all so patiently and gave me all the guidance I needed to easily make decisions. Our wedding day ended up being unusually cold and Krystle figured out tenting and heaters for the reception and hand warmers for the guests during the ceremony so I could still have our ceremony where I envisioned it happening. She’s one step ahead of you the entire time so that you can enjoy every moment without having to worry about anything. And maybe more importantly than anything else, she made the whole process fun. You do not want to plan a wedding without her, and when I convince my now husband to throw a vow renewal in 10 years, we’ll be hiring her again :)

(Not to mention, she herself was dealing with a postponed wedding, and then a newborn during these times. Talk about a superwoman!) Once our wedding finally happened, it was the most beautiful, magical night. It was everything I had ever dreamt of, and none of it would’ve happened without Krystle. I was 100% present and able to enjoy myself without worrying about a thing on my big day. Which is not an easy feat for a control freak like me, but I knew Krystle had everything handled. She’s creative, collaborative, ultra-talented, and above all else, extremely kind. I will honestly miss working with her—take this as your sign, you need Krystle for your big day!
Krystle is incredible! We did the event management and month-of coordination package and knew from the beginning that we were in great hands. She helped us with lists of vendors who perfectly matched our style, and had answers for all of our many questions.
When we had to reschedule twice because of the pandemic, Krystle was there. She made what would have otherwise been an extremely stressful process simple and manageable.
When we finally got to the month of our wedding, we were calm and prepared and knew that Krystle had everything under control. And on the day of, everything was perfect.

Krystal was great to work with. It was apparent this wasn't her "first rodeo" as she thought of many things that otherwise would have been overlooked if we had tried to do this on our own. Any last minute changes were handled in a professional, friendly, and calm manner. She negotiated good pricing with the vendors. She acted as a middle man between myself and the vendors, so when I had a question I'd simply run it through her, eliminating any confusion. She coordinated EVERYTHING the day of the wedding. I can assure anyone reading this it was all top shelf. Not to hire Krystal and do it own your would be a false economy!

Krystle was AMAZING! She has all of the best recommendations and is so quick to respond! I had the pleasure of planning a wedding during Covis-19, which made everything significantly harder but Krystle was supportive, positive, and SO helpful! She is beyond organized and had all of the schedules and details ironed out for the day of. I did not have to worry about everyone else because she was already on top of it. She makes you feel more like a friend than a customer, my whole wedding party and family enjoyed having her a part of the wedding. She is a 10/10!!!

Krystle took the time to get to know me and my fiance, and our vision throughout the process. I want to preface with this, I am not her client. I reached out to multiple wedding planners during this time of panic. (I was in need of advice on what to do with my June wedding.) Krystle responded promptly and helped me figure out a plan. She is so knowledgable and passionate about the field of wedding planning. I'm crying. Yes, crying. Tears are welling up in my eyes, and I'm trying my hardest to keep composed and keep it together. "Who cries while writing a five star review," you ask? An exuberant, albeit emotional groom, that's who. My wedding was the most joyful, spectacular and awe-inspiring day of my life. There are so many people to thank for the final result, but this one goes out to Krystle at Everly Events.
That goes without saying that I cried more watching my wife walk up toward me over water. Yes, you read that correctly. She veritably walked on water. Krystle coordinated with our event rentals vendor and our venue to make it happen. She's that kind of wedding planner. Krystle at Everly Events will make your wildest details and imaginings come true.
When unfortunate surprises: like the groom (me) getting a chemical burn from an eyebrow wax, it was so important having Krystle there as a resource to help us come up with a course for action. Without Krystle's composure, poise and reassuring demeanor, it would've been all too easy for my bride and I to panic. She kept us from ever getting to close to the edge.
From flower arrangements to floor plans, diligent, careful conceptualizing went into every step: like helping us find the right chandelier. Or, another example, making sure the string trio played Bob Dylan and not Bob Marley. Krystle pulled it all together; remembering all of our important details.
I look down at the glinting new wedding band on my left ring finger and I can't help but smile. It's a reminder of the single greatest day of my life, and I have Krystle and Everly Events to thank for that feeling.
Krystal is the BEST. We hired her for month of and day of planning. She completely took the stress away from me. She made sure that anything that could potentially go wrong was worked out weeks before. The week before our wedding was a complete breeze because we had finished everything before hand. The day of the wedding a handful of things went wrong, and I literally had no idea because Krystal dealt with it all so perfectly. I've told everyone I know, but I would pay for Krystal again in a heartbeat. If you can fit a planner into your budget- fit this girl in because she'll make your wedding better and the process more enjoyable.
Krystle was always there with smart advice every step of the way. We depended on her for guidance with selecting wedding vendors, and she kept us on track with the wedding planning timeline. Her friendly presence added to the celebratory air during the rehearsal, and knowing that she was taking care of the small details left us to fully enjoy our beautiful reception.
Krystle did such an amazing job organizing all the overwhelming wedding details. From figuring out transportation for the wedding party dogs to securing my loose veil right before walking the aisle, Krystle had the perfect solution and remained organized in the process! She always made herself available when help was needed, and her fresh ideas helped tie my vision together for my spring garden wedding. I am so thankful to Krystle for her service!
Krystle is absolutely AMAZING! I opted for just the two week/day of coordinator package because someone in my wedding party is an event planner (otherwise I would have used her for the entire thing). She was willing to answer one-off questions even outside the two weeks, and within two weeks of our wedding I felt completely confident that she was able to take the reins and get everything done. On our actual wedding day, Krystle had another wedding already booked so she had her colleague Shelby at our actual event, and Shelby was also great. Favorite part: she kept coming up to the groom & I during the event and making sure we had everything we needed. Krystle (and Shelby) took total responsibility and control from beginning to end, and Krystle was on all calls / at our pass-off meeting and rehearsal with Shelby to make sure we were comfortable ahead of time. Would DEFINITELY recommend!
If you are looking for someone who is genuine, organized and hardworking Krystle is your girl! She helped me and my mom plan and coordinate my wedding and everything went SO perfect! For the reception she kept us on time and I will be forever grateful for that because it took the stress off of me and my family members! (So we could enjoy our special day!)

I got married a few days ago and used Krystle as my planner. The week leading up to the wedding, I was getting stressed about little things, and sent her a handful of frantic emails. Everything I worried about, she had already thought of. She is so thorough and so on top of everything! Krystle truly made me feel calm, relaxed and like everything was taken care of (and it was!). I can't recommend her enough. She is fun, laid back, and easy to work with, while simultaneously being extremely organized, knowledgeable, and helpful.
We live in Houston, yet our daughter's wedding was in New Orleans, and we truly could not have achieved it without Krystle. She is incredibly calm, patient, and very, very responsive. Frankly, she probably doesn't charge enough for her services! Krystle handled this big wedding (175 guests) with grace, style, and precision. She provided me with updated Excel spreadsheets often showing any budget changes. Our grand total was right on target! Not only that, but Krystle was thrown many curves; our wedding was the FIRST at our venue (Hotel Peter and Paul), and a building on Canal Street literally collapsed on the morning of the wedding, changing all traffic patterns for the buses that were due to pick up our guests in nearby hotels. Krystle made several calls to these hotels, as well as to the bus company, and she saved the day. I really cannot recommend her highly enough; she's wonderful!

Krystle at Everly Event Planning and Design is an incredible wedding planner! I decided to book the Month-Of Coordination Package. Originally I had thought I had everything planned prior to the wedding, but Krystle asked the vendors very thorough questions that completely slipped my mind. If it wasn’t for her paying extremely close detail to every aspect, our wedding wouldn’t have been exactly how we envisioned. Krystle and her team was an absolute dream the day of the wedding. As the girls were getting ready, Krystle arrived early to coordinate all the vendors and add the finishing touches to the decorations. She allowed us to be completely stress free, and I knew the décor of our ceremony and reception were in good hands. The entire venue was beautiful and perfect! During the reception, Krystle was very professional as she kept each event flowing. We never felt rushed or bombarded. Krystle kept both of our parents well informed throughout our entire wedding. My mom really appreciated that she would motion and whisper to get their attention without causing a major interruption. Both the groom and I were very calm and happy throughout the entire evening, and we owe it all to Krystle! Krystle and I immediately clicked - it was clear she understood my vision and I instantly trusted her to handle everything I needed her to. She was very available and easy to work with. She was able to give me unbiased suggestions on what was appropriate and not appropriate, what most brides do, what traditions don't need to be followed anymore, etc - it was all extremely helpful in creating the wedding I wanted within my budget.
Not enough can be said about Krystle with Everly! She was my month-of coordinator and she simply made everything a BREEZE. There was literally not one thing out of place or out of time frame my entire wedding day. In fact, most things were early even. Whatever it is, her and her assistant will take care of it! I almost forgot that she even pinned me back into my dress mid-reception after dancing a little too hard because she did it so effortlessly. If you want a perfect, seamless wedding prep and day - Krystle is your girl!! If you're reading this, stop looking and book! It is so very worth it!!!
Krystle did an outstanding job! She is very easy to work with, always made sure we had drinks in our hands (which we appreciated), and generally made the whole process run smoothly and less stressful. I highly recommend Krystle. We used her services for the month leading up to the wedding, and she was a tremendous help, especially coordinating between several families and locations. Krystle also went above and beyond by saving the top layer of our wedding cake, storing it in her freezer until we returned from our honeymoon, and dropped it off at my work! I found Krystle though an instagram blogger who raved about how she could not have had her dream wedding without Krystle and whoa - was she right. My wedding was everything I hoped for and I know I owe a lot of that magic to Krystle.
We worked together for the entire year before the wedding, as I was an out of town bride getting married in my husband’s hometown of New Orleans. She was always organized, timely with her responses and made sure I never felt overwhelmed. Her vendor recommendations were exactly my style, within my budget and delivered great results the day of the wedding. She made me feel like we had been friends for years and by the time the wedding came around, I was able to trust her with all last minute decisions. I was so confident that she knew me well enough and would know what to do.
One of the best things about Krystle (other than the aforementioned wonderful qualities) is that she really keeps what is important to you in mind. As it got closer to the wedding, I second-guessed myself about everything I chose because I was getting so many outside opinions. Krystle kept me grounded so that I felt confident in my choices. I can't say enough good things about Krystle and her planning company. We met over FaceTime because while I'm from New Orleans I live in Baltimore now and we hit it off right away. She understood my vision for my wedding exactly. I wanted a French Quarter wedding in a courtyard and Krystle began scouting dozens of locations then found Chateau LeMoyne and sent me many pictures after her walk through and it turned out to be the perfect location. We began planning a year ahead and over the entire year Krystle answered all of my million questions quickly even when I knew she was super busy with upcoming weddings. She was always courteous and took the burden and stress off of me to find vendors like the dj, minister, florist, bakery and so on. She sent me reviews for all of those things and websites for me to check out and took care of all communication with them. She was extremely organized with a spreadsheet for me of all the vendors and the down payments I had made along with when the next payment was due and by when. I meet up with Krystle a few days before the wedding to give her all the decorations I had collected such as instagram and reserved signs for tables, guest sign in book, things for the cake table and a memory board. And the day of the wedding everything was picture perfect. The bistro lights overhead and the candle lanterns with rose petals all along the aisle and alter. She had made sure everything was perfectly in its place and I can't be happier with how everything turned out. Even if I hadn't been an out of town bride I would've used Krystle. She had ideas I hadn't thought of and reigned me in for adding too much that wouldn't have looked as classy and chic as it did. I could go on and on about Everly Event Planning and had nothing short of the most wonderful experience with Krystle. You will be so happy you chose her business for your memorable day.
Words cannot describe how thankful I am to have had Krystle!! My wedding would have not been possible had it not been for her! It was moved from a 5:30 ceremony to an 11:30 ceremony due to a potential hurricane. She called me early Friday morning to tell me all vendors had already been called and everything was ready to go! She went above and beyond anything I could have ever asked for. From calling on all the vendors, to just calming me down. She was absolutely amazing and I thank her from the bottom of my heart!! Krystle was hands down one of the best vendors I worked with throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was also super on top of her game when it came to following up on things I would forget about, and leave me out of discussions I didn't want to be a part of {every bride knows what a blessing this is!} It was just such a relief on the big day knowing that I could trust Krystle and put all of my plans into her hands. The entire event went so smoothly and she was calm as a cucumber when little things popped up {For example - I found out a bar had run out of some mixers and before I could even worry, Krystle let me know her assistant was already at the store buying backup} AMAZING! I literally cannot say enough good things about Krystle as a wedding planner. From the moment I reached out to her about our wedding, she was always completely attentive, making me feel like I was her number 1 priority. She was even emailing me while she was on vacation over seas! We had a snafu with the first florist and not only did she communicate the issue right away, she already had thought of the solution once I talked to her.
