it was such a pleasure to work with poopak (“patrice”)! my husband’s family is persian & we decided to have a mixed persian/american ceremony, starting with a sofreh aghd. poopak was incredibly responsive & flexible throughout the planning process, ensuring she was honoring persian traditions, as well as our personal preferences/style. it was such a comfortable experience & we are so appreciative of the beautiful ceremony she officiated for us!

I was not one of those brides that had multiple Pinterest boards for their wedding. I had zero vision. Patrice helped us with our designs and concept every step of the way. We were from out of town and knew nobody, and she recommended every single vendor that we used and they were all top notch. She knew our venue inside and out, what would work and wouldn’t work, and she knows literally everybody in the wedding business in the DC area it seems. She sends you questionnaires and to-do lists and constantly checks in with you. On the day of, she took care of everything to the point where I had zero worries the entire day and got to really enjoy our ceremony and reception. Her team of assistants and interns were so very nice, helpful, and resourceful, they even helped me get dressed and with a hair emergency! We are so glad we met her, and we will always be so thankful for her services. You will not regret hiring her!

Patrice was phenomenal. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her!!! She was so incredibly helpful and took so much time to help me with so many different tasks. The day of the wedding we had many people drop out due to Covid and Patrice made me feel so comfortable and helped change all the tables. I know it isn’t easy dealing with stressed out brides, but she made everything seem so seamless. I would recommend 100x again to future brides! She is the best of the best.

My biggest regret in wedding planning was not hiring Poopak Patrice Golesorkhi sooner in my planning process! If you are considering hiring someone, maybe just a day of coordinator… stop and just hire Poopak to do it all. She is the best and you deserve the best! I planned my wedding in Fall 2019, secured the venue, majority of my vendors… I had a general handle on things. But… then the pandemic hit! I moved our date three more times to March 2022. Each time, I had to coordinate all the rescheduling…by the last time I was hitting major planning fatigue and needed a full-time planner to take over. Moving it so many times, and all the uncertainty… my heart wasn’t in my wedding anymore. But then I met Poopak, after my entertainment (lights/sound/DJ) company Exclusively Entertainment recommended her. To be clear, Poopak’s reputation absolutely preceded her. A legend in the Persian Wedding business, I have seen many brides sing her praises. Immediately she set me at ease. She is incredibly disciplined and doesn’t want to ever stress out her brides. Before we were close to the wedding date, she would send me a few ‘tasks’ (usually questionnaires) and ease me into the things I had to do. Then two months before the wedding, when things started get real, she laid out the entire day of schedule, down to details that I would have never thought to consider. She spent the weeks leading up to my wedding coordinating with all my vendors, ensuring everyone was on the same page and that everyone’s needs were met. I was in AWE of her and I don’t know how I would’ve handled that work alone. Risk mitigation at its finest. Several of my other vendors personally told me how exceptionally sharp and on it Poopak was, thanking me for bringing her in! You know she’s good when other small business owners are grateful! The day of my wedding I barely saw Poopak. I want to say that nothing went wrong that day, but I know I’m wrong. But she shielded my groom and I from all of it! As far as we know, wedding went off without a hitch. I even remember at one point I was warm, and my friend went to tell her and she had already turned up the AC. She knew I was warm before I did! I can’t imagine how comforting this process would have been if I hired her right from the beginning, she’s been throwing weddings long before this pandemic and she’s thrown so many since that anything you’re worried about, she’s already seen it, solved it, and now knows how to avoid it. JUST A LEGEND. HIRE HER AND HER TEAM ASAP.

Every fear and anxiety I had prior to my wedding, Patrice removed immediately! She was a huge help to us when meeting and negotiating with vendors for the wedding location. She knows her stuff! She works calmly and executes perfectly under pressure and makes your job of just enjoying the day easy! Not only are Patrice and her team professional but they're so friendly and make your vision come to life!

It was pleasure working with Poopak. She was my "day of planner" but truly helped me months prior to the wedding. She was easy to work with, meticulous, and professional. She worked closely with my vendors and was able to execute my designs and plans perfectly. I did not have to worry about a thing on the day of my wedding. We had an amazing experience with Exclusively events and Patrice (PG). Having a wedding coordinator is a great decision for a bride and hiring Patrice was one of the best decisions I made to ensure my wedding day was seamless. Patrice was outstanding to work with from start to finish. Patrice is hands down the best decision we made when it came to our wedding!! Our only regret in providing this review is that we can't give her 100 stars. From the beginning of our wedding planning process, Patrice was there to ensure everything was carried out perfectly. She helped us select the venue of our dreams, connected us with the best vendors in their fields, and provided us with expert advice, making herself immediately available whenever we needed it. Every single vendor we worked with sung her praises and treated us like VIPs as a result. And perhaps most notably, she was ESSENTIAL in helping us navigate the challenges of planning our multicultural (Iranian and Indian) wedding. We could not have pulled it off without her! The day of our wedding, Patrice and her colleague Katie made sure that every moment flowed seamlessly, providing us and our families with constant attention and care. Where do I start!! From the day our friends recommended Poopak to weeks after our wedding Poopak was one person we looked to for any advice, be it an opinion or a hiccup. She was always courteous and very very understanding. She has immense experience and it shows (in her words not on her beautiful face). She also did a fantastic job with our sofreh, just look at the photos. Above all, Poopak had a very calming effect on me and my husband. It was like she had the solution to every problem of ours and ladies/ gents YOU NEED THAT! Poopak was always punctual and accommodating. Having PG as my day of coordinator and sofreh designer was hands down the best decision I could have made for my wedding this past November. She was always super responsive, very creative when I needed help, and extremely well-connected in the wedding industry. She ensured that everything ran flawlessly on the day of the wedding, and for that, I am forever grateful. Additionally, her sofreh design was STUNNING. She truly brought my vision to life, and one month later, I still receive compliments about how beautiful my sofreh was. PG is the wedding superhero that every bride needs!!!

Words cannot express my gratitude for Patrice. Our wedding was something out of a magazine! It was the PERFECT wedding and it's all because her. Poopak (Patrice) truly went above and beyond for my wedding. I am very picky and asked her a million questions, which she answered very well. She was super helpful on every front. I cannot say enough! Patrice is amazing. She coordinated the wedding and also the Sofreh. The Sofreh was beautiful! The wedding went off seamlessly. She was in constant contact with me throughout the entire process. She answered my texts and emails immediately. She gives amazing advice and is so sweet and kind. She could not have done a better job. She also handled my screaming mother-in-law like a pro. Which for me was a huge relief!
