We wanted to secure a wedding planner who was able to help us plan something special while also accommodating our difficult work schedules. This was great because it allowed for Nicole and her team to secure the best vendors way in advance, but also took a lot of the typical wedding stressors out of the early stages of planning. Most of the “hard work” was done about 18 months ahead of the wedding date which let us relax and enjoy the wedding process. As we got closer to the big day, Nicole was my new best friend! We had regular check-ins over the course of 18 months. At every occasion Nicole presented an agenda and timeline, reassuring us we were on target. Her questions were presented succinctly with the goal of reaching a conclusion, which is important when options can vary significantly. Guests lists were maintained in a professional database/resource so they could be presented and queried in a variety of ways. The various printed displays Nicole managed alone (church cards, menu cards, welcome bags, signage for cocktails, signage for seating, etc) was impressive. Nicole knows her vendors very well, which made changes we requested actionable within time constraints. All special requests we had were executed to perfection. Nicole definitely works from an agenda and experience that insures the important tiny details receive the attention they require. At the same time Nicole understood clearly that it was our party and accommodated all our requests. Most importantly, I feel like Nicole really "got us". Over the course of planning such a special occasion she really became one of the family, which made the day of the event one of our best days ever. I recommend Nicole and Exhale Events without reservation and will be looking for opportunities to engage her in the future, including corporate events.

This is the epitome of our experience with Nicole and her stellar team - anticipating our needs before we realized them and making sure everything went off without a hitch - and it started from the first meeting through the day after our wedding. My husband and I were fairly lackluster wedding planners, so having Nicole help to drive us forward was a necessity to make sure we stayed on top of everything we needed to and when - even after postponing our original plans in early 2021 due to COVID (we worked with Nicole for almost two years!!). She also helped us navigate challenges or issues that could impact our timeline seamlessly and professionally during planning. The day of the wedding could not have been enjoyable for us with the Exhale team working on our behalf. If anything did go wrong with set-up or throughout the day, we had no idea because we were never bothered with any questions or issues. Even when we got caught up saying hello to guests, they made sure we still moved forward with the timeline to allow for enough time for dancing, and reminded us that we wanted to step away to take pictures just the two of us. e case for my daughter’s wedding and knew that using a wedding planner should alleviate some stress and minimize some pitfalls. However, as someone who likes to control things (you might say Type A), I wasn’t sure how this would all work, but decided to meet with some planners that my daughter had identified after much research and talking with friends. After our first meeting over coffee, it was clear that Nicole would be a great partner in what turned out to be a 3 year process, and (thanks to COVID) many “fits and starts” resulting in a very small beautiful wedding with our immediate family in 2021 and a wonderful 200+ person celebration with family and friends in 2022. Nicole makes the effort to get to know the couple and family, really listen to what they’re thinking about, and then perfectly execute! She gave advice and made recommendations, but never tried to control the decisions – one of my concerns when we were considering a planner. She has a great sense of style and can manage and keep track of all of the moving parts of wedding planning – which believe me are many! The whole process was actually fun! Just the other day I told my daughter that I missed our meetings with Nicole! As a result of the great work that Nicole and her team did, the wedding and subsequent celebration were incredibly wonderful, exactly what we wanted, and I didn’t worry about anything!

They took care of creating schedules for everyone involved in the wedding, coordinating with the venue and across vendors for setup/breakdown time, packaging of items to save, safe transport, storage and display of cookies, and so so much more. When we had an unexpected heat wave the day of the wedding, and I was too hot to handle outdoor photos, she took care of shifting the schedule as it was happening so no one was ever wondering what was next, and the music never stopped playing! I actually got a lot of feedback from guests around how seamless and well organized the wedding was, which I know was 100% due to the efforts of these women. Hiring them was hands down the best decision I made in wedding planning, and would suggest anyone planning their own- regardless of budget- prioritize including Exhale in their vendor lineup. I didn’t believe it when I was planning but they really will save you so much time and stress and will help your budget go a lot further.

Being a covid wedding - we cut our guest list by about 60% and moved the date and “reception” to my parents house, which is definitely not a wedding venue. We did this all fairly last minute (I’m sorry Nicole lol). Her and her team executed the most perfect cocktail party - from scratch - complete with tents, chandeliers, furniture, a hookah lounge.... not joking. I don’t know how she does it, but she does it very well!!! I know I wouldn’t have been able to plan half the wedding that she did if I had to do it alone.

They were there, every moment, with every thing. Nicole and her team were much much more than planners that day – they were friends. Nicole cares about her couples. She cares about their dreams, their visions, their needs, their wishes, and their well-being. She cried with me as I walked down the aisle and she shared my jaw-dropping moment when we walked into the venue for the first time.
