My husband and I got married this past Friday, and we were blown away by EXO’s professionalism and creativity on our big day! From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure working with Nicole, Josh, and their gifted team of photographers and videographers. EXO was extremely responsive to any questions we had about our engagement shoot and wedding day, which allowed us to plan other parts of our big day! Their online portal made filling out our photo questionnaire and making payments a breeze. On the day of the wedding, Angie and her team ensured we kept to schedule and quickly adjusted plans when a short rain shower put outdoor photos on hold. We were amazed at the team’s creativity in using our wedding artifacts (dress, bouquets, rings, invite) to forever capture these important parts of our day. What pros! If you are looking for a wedding photographer and videographer, look no further! EXO will take care of you and beautifully capture your big day!

EXO was absolutely fantastic. I want to start by saying THANK YOU EXO ! We used this company for both our photography and videography. We just want to let you know we were BLOWN AWAY with the photos and videos to say the least. Joel was our photographer and we have nothing but great things to say about him. We were looking for a photographer that can capture the day in a candid way, less posey and intrusive. Right from the start Josh and Nicole were a dream to work with! They knew what I wanted and captured it perfectly. They are a well run machine. Side by side, bouncing off each other and working as a team. We got to see our sneak peak pictures and I started crying because they captured all the emotions I was feeling that day in our photos. Their work is so unique. I’ve been following them on social media and have noticed all the weddings and brides they take pictures of - not one wedding is the same. As for their cinematography- MIND CHANGING! The way Jason captured moments was effortless. He was so easy and fun to work with! He showed me a blip clip of our video and it was stunning! EXO PHOTOGRAPHY as an amazing team. From the photographers to their assistants in the office, they make you feel welcome and are always there to answer questions. They are easy to work with and know how to get the best shots! On our wedding day it rained but Josh and Nicole made me feel confident we were going to get amazing pictures. And we did. Photography and Videography were the two MOST important things to me while planning my wedding. I met with so many photographers and as soon as I met with EXO I knew they were perfect. They were so personable and professional. They were able to answer all the questions I had and give me advice on questions I didn't even know I had! They have such a beautfiul style and I LOVE that they edit their own work. My video and photos came out even better than I could've ever imagined. They really understood our style and we could not be happier!

My wife and I highly recommend Exo Photography! We got married in April at the Harbor Club. We first had Exo do our engagement photos and Josh put us at ease (we were pretty nervous having our photos taken!). On the day of the wedding, the whole crew led by Nicole and Josh executed flawlessly. They maximized our time and knew the venue incredibly well. The photos came out beautifully.

Th easiest decision we made was using Rob from the exo cinema team to capture our wedding video. We remember small parts of our wedding so when we were able to sit down and relive everything watching the stunning trailer and longer video we were absolutely blown away. Its like they were everywhere but we forgot that they were there...Our wedding looks like a movie and we are so in love with it!

Danny and Angie shot our wedding a week and a half ago and we just received our teaser photos and they are absolutely amazing! We fell in love with the style the very moment we searched for photographers and came across your work <3 We can't thank you enough for how comfortable you guys made us feel the entire day. Josh, Nicole and their team are amazing! We spent a lot of time trying to find the right photo/video team that was a good fit for us, trying to avoid some of the typical wedding clichés, and they are the creative and really talented team we were looking for! We used them for our engagement shoot and wedding day photography and videography. They are extremely professional and organized having everything ready to go so you can get all your shots but still enjoy and not miss any of your party. Having done our engagement shoot with them, we used those photos to decorate our entry table the day of the wedding. We chose them for their style and talent so the day of the wedding we really just relaxed and followed their direction. Just by watching them work you know that your photos and video are going to come out perfect. I would highly recommend EXO over and over again. The pictures speak for themselves!

I don't even know where to start! We were married 2.5 weeks ago on one of the stormiest days in New York. What could have been a complete disaster--think intense rain, winds, a large bridal party, etc.--is where Josh and his expert team excelled. A week into our honeymoon we received 40 of our photos and were completely blown away. Not just my husband and I, but our family and friends commented on how striking and absolutely gorgeous the photos came out--rain and all! Josh and his whole team were incredibly organized, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire process (engagement shoot and for the wedding) and they truly excelled at capturing the joy and love we felt on our big day. From the moment I called EXO and spoke to Josh, he was very responsive and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I knew from seeing their previous work that they had such talent in their videos and photos that id be in good hands! Nicole and Josh at EXO were the first photographers we met with. We met with many others afterwards, but ultimately came back to EXO because their work could not be beat. Throughout our whole wedding process, they were always available through email or over the phone to go over details like our day of timeline and who we needed photos with. They were extremely organized and very comfortable to be around during our engagement shoot, getting ready pictures, first look, ceremony, and reception. Now that we have received the photos back, they are fantastic as expected. We had a crew of six- two photographers, two cinematographers, and two assistants. Everyone was just wonderful and we are so impressed with their work.

This is my second review for EXO- I received a special package from EXO yesterday with a special framed photo from my wedding and the USB of all the beautiful photos they took. My wedding was July 27th 2018 at the Mansion at Oyster Bay, it feels like a lifetime ago. The day couldn't have been more perfect. EXO captured every special moment. Every time I look at the photos I relive that day. I am working on my photo book and there are just too many incredible photos to choose from!! I cant say enough good things about EXO - I HIGHTLY RECCOMENT THEM! Josh and his team were perfect. Thanks so much guys!!

What can I say about Exo but that they are amazing. I’ve only gotten my previews so far and beyond thrilled with what I’m seeing. As my now husband and I are both small business owners we wanted to support a great small local business and people that were passionate about what they do. In Exo with josh and Nicole we found just that. I myself am an artist and picky as can be. I had a lot of details to capture and was o so specific. They were patient with me and made sure to capture everything I wanted. They were organized and attentive. Working with Josh and Nicole was a wonderful and EASY experience. They met with our parents prior to the wedding to scope out various locations at our reception location to take pictures. Great idea because Josh new exactly where to go for sunset shots, floral backgrounds and beautiful green foliage. Josh and Nicole arrived the day of our wedding and were a calming factor that helped with the entire process. Last minute I asked Josh if we could make a stop between our home and church to take pictures and he was more than accommodating to all of the requests. When planning our wedding I thought a lot about various weddings I have attended where the photographer/videographer got in the way and it took away from the wedding experience. That was not the case with Josh, Nicole and their team. They became part of the party and were enjoyed by all! We look forward to using them again for various events in the future.

My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about EXO! Josh and the whole team were amazing to work with and made everything about our day amazing. They really captured what we were looking for and were so easy to work with. Josh is very attentive. He noticed all the little details so that nothing was off in photos and was so easy going and great to work with and his whole team was the same!! The best choice we made by far! Nicole and Josh were absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. They helped us from the planning stages to recommending music, flowers and a limo company that were all fantastic and seamlessly worked together so professionally. Throughout the wedding day they blended in so well that we basically forgot they were there but one look over your shoulder and you see them snapping away capturing every little moment, telling the story of our day as if they were writing a story to tell a guest that couldn't attend! We received our photos sooner than promised and were absolutely blown away... we couldn't believe all the candid moments they were able to capture...it still leaves us speechless and also makes it extremely difficult to choose photos for our album because they're all soo good. Working with Nicole and Josh was such a breeze!! We had our wedding on 2/17/18 at the Mansion at Oyster Bay! The photo that I have seen on the camera from the night of are absolutely what I wanted for the night!! We also did our engagement photos with them! Booking EXO Photography for our wedding was an easy decision for me based upon the extensive research I had done, the great value they offer, and how kind the owners Josh and Nicole are. We wish we heard of them prior to booking our photographer. We decided later on that we wanted to add video to our wedding and already booked our photographer. The video had everything we wanted and more. We loved the prep and the ceremony captured St. Patrick's church was so wonderful to watch again. After booking our venue we were on the search for photographers. We found EXO through my wife's co-worker who used them. They were very accomodating making a weekend appointment and everything we needed from them before the wedding. I hired Josh and his team for our wedding last month and they were amazing from the start. They've asked us to fill out a questionnaire before the wedding to get a feel of the type of photos/video we wanted which was great. On the actual wedding day, we had 2 teams: one for me and one for my husband. They did a really amazing job arranging the setting and I felt very comfortable working with them. They managed to check off all the requests we had in the questionnaire. We were lucky that we had a perfect day - no rain for the most part - because we probably wouldn't have been able to use the drone! Definitely recommend people to add the drone to the package. I couldn't have asked for a better group photographers/videographers to be part of my wedding. I cannot wait to see the rest our photos/video!

I'm a cinematographer that shoots weddings as well and I have met many photographers over the course of my career. With that being said, there was no question in my mind who my wife and I were going to use for our own wedding. Obviously, the most important thing is the quality of the finished product. However, all the small details along the way were what I found most pleasant. Josh and Nicole are awesome to work with and are extremely considerate when it comes to all the aspects of a wedding. They cover everything thoroughly and make sure that both their team and the couple are well-prepared for the big day. There is simply no one else I recommend for wedding photography besides EXO.

EXO photography is definitely the BEST around! My fiancé and I just did an engagement shoot with them and we are blown away with the photos! They were so cool to work with and really delivered beautiful work! We also have them booked for our wedding day and we are SO excited! I highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about EXO photo and cinema. I loved my engagement pictures - they were so creative and the way Josh worked with lighting is awesome. But they still don't compare to the stunning wedding pictures that I have. I didn't want all of my wedding photos to be the typical lined up in a 'V' wedding pose. Josh was creative and captured the day beautifully. We had multiple poses and fun shots to choose from so it made choosing photos for our album extremely difficult. I could not have hoped for anything better. Simply amazing photographers and well worth the money spent.

My husband and I can't say enough good things about the Exo team. Their professionalism and positive attitude really helped set the tone for the rest of the day. They listened to our wishes to be flies on the wall, while still getting some amazing photos. The relationship between the video + photo teams was great - too often I've seen the two vendors stepping on each other at a wedding, but the fact that they came together made the whole process seamless. Would recommend them 100%, one of the best in the NY area!

We met with EXO when searching around for the perfect photographer for our wedding on July 8, 2016. We met with them in the fall of 2015 and discussed exactly what we wanted and Josh was more than accommodating! First off, any questions I had about meeting up and getting there when it was convenient for us was not a problem whatsoever for them! They answered every question in a very speedy response by e-mail in the same day. They stayed and met with us after work one day. We did our engagement shoot with Josh and his assistant Jon and they were amazing! it was great to work with them prior to our wedding to get to know them a little bit. They were both so helpful, nice, and just truly professional. We LOVED our shots from that day! Then about 7 months later our big day came! Prior to our wedding Jon had asked me to email shots that we definitely wanted to have and Josh called the day before to make sure we had everything set, if I had questions, and ran through a few pointers with me. It made the morning so much less stressful! They were so great the day of! I hardly knew they were there, and when the sky turned dark, Josh, Nicole, and Jon made sure we got all the pictures that we wanted and helped us set up in different spots! Josh and Nicole are so professional at what they do, it was so easy to entrust our day and all our memories with them! I would 1000% recommend using EXO for any of your photography needs! You will NOT be disappointed! I know we're not! Thanks again!!

My husband and I browsed many Long Island photographer websites and were WOWed by Nicole & Josh's photos. We set up an appointment and from the minute we met with Nicole we knew we wanted to work with them. Not only were they great to work with, but they listened to us and focused on exactly the types of photos we wanted (we love candids!). I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about EXO. We used them for photography and videography for our wedding and they were absolutely perfect. USE EXO Photography and Cinematography!!! Josh and his assistants made all of us feel so comfortable during the entire process. Even when we first met Josh and his wife at their BEAUTIFUL studio in Huntington, they were Never pushy. They explained what they do and their style. They listened carefully to what we wanted. We got to see a slideshow on a comfortable couch on a nice flat screen tv of previous weddings they photographed and filmed. We loved how comfortable they made us feel and how they encouraged us to take time to think about it!! Not many vendors are going to do that, FYI future brides! I also really like that it is a husband and wife duo that's committed & care so much for what they do. We were blown away by Josh and his team for my wedding. He listened to any/all requests beforehand and even the day of. My college roommates bought a College blanket to photograph & it was wonderful. We really appreciate Josh and the team working in the heat of the summer(wearing professional Black, hot clothing too) &laying down on the pavement to get the best angle to make them PERFECT. We had our engagement shoot with Josh and Nicole and those pictures were unreal. We really can't thank the EXO team enough! My family and bridal party complemented Josh as well...I loved that they do a lot with reflections and not 'staged' photographs. They also have a style that separates them from the rest. Use EXO!!! My bridal party liked the photographers bc they were also cute ! ;-) photographs are the One part of a wedding that keep it everlasting. You want someone who enjoys what the do and is willing to sacrifice their own confortability to make sure that happens. I asked Josh of we could have a pic with the groomsmen socks, so he stood on this tiny, wobbly chair with his camera, to ensure he got the Best angle and I appreciated that so so so so much.Thank you Josh, I love you guys and I miss you already!

All of our family and friends commented on what an amazing job they did when they saw the wedding trailer. Besides their amazing work, the best part of working with them is their personalities. They were all so caring, helpful and warm. I am so happy we chose them to capture the most important day of our life and that they were part of it! I knew as soon as I visited their studio that EXO was just the style I was looking for. Josh and Nicole were very laid back, and friendly. During my engagement session I really got to know them and I fell in love with the photos. They always kept in touch and made sure that the planning was going well. The morning of my wedding Josh arrived early with his assistant and before taking some beautiful shots they made sure I was relaxed and felt comfortable. Throughout the day Josh, Nicole and the EXO staff were extremely professional, kind, and responsible. I loved the fact that they took the time to capture the most amazing shots. Based on 1 photo that I saw on a postcard we received in the mail brought me to their website and I was in. The team at EXO are great, easy-going, professional, extremely creative and have a great sense of humor. They captured so many special moments and transformed them into spectacular works of art displaying the happiest day of our lives. USE EXO Photography and Cinematography!!! Josh and his assistants made all of us feel so comfortable during the entire process.Even when we first met Josh and his wifeAt their BEAUTIFUL studio in Huntington, they were Never pushy. They explained what they do and their style.They listened carefully to what we wanted. We got to see a slideshow on a comfortable couch on a nice flat screen tv of previous weddings they photographed and filmed. We loved how comfortable they made us feel and how they encouraged us to take time to think about it!!Not many vendors are going to do that, FYI future brides! I also really like that it is a husband and wife duo that's committed & care so much for what they do. we were blown away by Josh and his team for my wedding. He listened to any/all requests beforehand and even the day of. my college roommates bought a College blanket to photograph & it was wonderful. We really appreciate Josh and the team working in the heat of the summer(wearing professional Black, hot clothing too)&laying down on the pavement to get the best angle to make them PERFECT.We had our engagement shoot with Josh and Nicole and those pictures were unreal. We really can't thank the EXO team enough! My family and bridal party complemented Josh as well...I loved that they do a lot with reflections and not 'staged' photographs. They also have a style that separates them from the rest. Use EXO!!! My bridal party liked the photographers be they were also cute ! ;-) photographs are the One part of a wedding that keep it everlasting. You want someone who enjoys what the do and is willing to sacrifice their own confortability to make sure that happens. I asked Josh of we could have a pic with the groomsmen socks, so he stood on this tiny, wobbly chair with his camera, to ensure he got the Best angle and I appreciated that so so so so much.Thank you Josh, I love you guys and I miss you already!

We picked EXO because we loved their natural, candid photography. Nicole and her team were absolutely amazing to work with. I really loved how she went out of her way to look at my Pinterest board to find the types of photos that I loved and throughout the night recreated my favorites. From our engagement shoot to our wedding, there was not one photo we didn't like. The quality and service of everyone at EXO went above and beyond our expectations. We look forward to working again with them in the future even though we are more than an hour away from their studio! They are worth the drive!

I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to write this review. We fell in love with Josh’s work when we first started looking for a photographer in 2013. After visiting countless other studios on Long Island, our search stopped at their office (in Great Neck, at the time). After sitting down with Josh and going through his portfolio, my husband (then fiancé) and I left that day and knew that, no matter his cost or our budget, we wanted Josh to be our photographer. From the engagement session through the day of the wedding, Josh and Nicole were nothing short of consummate professionals. There’s really not much more for me to say about Josh other than he's awesome at what he does, and his passion shines through in the quality of his photography. I’m so glad that he's the one who took the photos that we’ll cherish forever. I’m completely obsessed with our album, and it’s all thanks to him. I also don’t know if any other photographer would have given us a ride at the end of an exhaustively long day when we went to take extra photos after the wedding. Nicole is equally as awesome and I greatly appreciate her responsiveness from the very beginning, and her patience with me as we finalized the albums. Josh and Nicole truly made our wedding day all the more perfect and special, and we highly recommend their services. They are extremely personable, professional, and talented. They eased my nerves during pictures, captured every moment of the day on film that I would have wanted, and created a video that will allow us to relive and remember our wedding day. Our favorite Vendor was exo photo! So easy and fun to work with them. They make you feel really comfortable and forget cameras are all around clicking away to capture every detail and emotion. The choice of wedding vendors we used were extremely important to us during our planning. We didn't have a huge budget but photography and video wasn't something we wanted to skimp out on and get devastating results. Its a little overwhelming finding and meeting dozens of companies out there and figuring out who will fit perfectly with your vision. We had an idea of what we weren't looking for such as old fashioned photos or weird posing and lighting seen in many of these companies we went to see. Some were really cheap so it might be tempting to go for a good deal but we are big believers that you get what you pay for. We finally found a style that really sparked our attention when we came across EXO's website. We were really attracted to the clean modern look to each photo. We made an appointment and met this wonderful couple that runs the studio; Nicole and Josh. They were extremely helpful and fun to talk to. After seeing more of their work and getting to meet them we definitely had no doubt in our mind that we found what we were looking for. Our engagement session was very exciting. It lasted about two hours at dumbo, we had Josh shoot it since he was also our wedding photographer so it was a great opportunity to see him in action.. he made us feel very comfortable which made us look very natural in the photos. Throughout the whole process Josh and Nicole were extremely helpful when it came down to answering all the questions we had about our timeline and suggestions etc...They showed up energetic and ready to shoot the morning of the wedding, again making me feel comfortable and happy that they had things under full control. The team was super professional, assertive and polite to the family. They knew exactly what shots they needed and after getting all the necessary ones they shot more behind the scenes, very unobtrusive which was great. They are very imaginative and creative with their approach to a normal shot. After about only three weeks we received our stunning wedding photos, and I repeat STUNNING! We couldn't be happier with our decision to get professionals to capture our wedding, at the end its worth every penny. Choosing photos was extremely easy from the online gallery we received. All we did was click favorite on every photo we wanted in our album and then Nicole designed everything and sent us a draft to view and revise. The quality of the album we received is beyond the best. You can tell by the type of materials used, the stitching, and final touches. I can keep going on and on about how happy we are with the service and product. Huge thank you once again to Josh, Nicole and the entire EXO team!! You guys are amazing and extremely talented at what you do!

In deciding on a photographer before our wedding, we wanted to support a young artistic couple in their business and were impressed with the photos and videos they showed us in their office. However, the final product from our wedding was nothing like what was presented to us that day. I should have known from the engagement session that it wasn't a good match when I described my idea of "industrial New York City" themed photos to Josh, and almost all of our photos were focused on New Jersey in the background! On the wedding day itself, they left the very second their hours were up, passing my husband and I taking photos in our photo booth on their way out without so much as asking if we wanted any additional photos taken before they left. To us, going the extra mile, like thinking outside of the box and offering a photo of us in the photo booth on their way out, or even taking a minute to check in with us, would have meant a lot. It took over three months to get a link to our unedited online photos. All of the work seemed sloppy, unprofessional, generic, and lacked creativity or thought. Also, there were NO photos of our dog, the ring bearer in a tuxedo. If a dog is important enough to a couple to put in the ceremony- it's important enough to have a photo of! Nor were there photos of my husband's immediate family at the reception. I should add that we also used EXO's videography, and were equally, if not more disappointed in the video. We had a traditional Jewish ceremony and the videographer missed the breaking of the glass- a staple in Jewish ceremonies. They included all the speeches- about 20 minutes worth- in the edited 35 minute video. The audio quality was so poor you couldn't hear anything that was said, and the remaining 15 minutes hardly captured the rest of the day. In the end I had to put more work into arranging the album and video than they did. Josh and Nicole are nice people, but if you want a professional photographer, look elsewhere.

My biggest regret is wasting so much time researching and meeting with other photographers - I wish I met with Nicole & Josh sooner in the hunt! EXO is professional, talented, flexible, friendly and most importantly, AFFORDABLE! I am a bit of a scatter brain as is, let alone wedding stress...Nicole was so patient, accommodating and flexible. I must have changed the schedule on her 5 times and she never once acted like she was annoyed. We got married in September and just received our edited pics in December. Every picture is edited to perfection and not one picture is of us blinking or unflattering. Nicole truly puts in the time to make your images as magical as your wedding day. If I could do it all over again, I would save myself time and book EXO right away. They're absolutely incredible and will be using them for any other events in the future. Thank you, Nicole!!

My husband and I were recently married on August 3rd, 2014 and chose EXO Photography and Videography for our wedding. The standard of excellence that EXO Photography and Videography has is truly remarkable. After searching for several months and meeting with different photographers, we knew that EXO was the one. We met with ADA Studios, Jeffery Studios, Patken Photographer, etc…to name a few and none of them were as quality driven and had as cost effective photography and videography packages as EXO. Josh and his team which include his second photographer and wife Nicole as well as his videographer Rob made us feel extremely comfortable and treated us like family. They were always available to meet with us at any time before the big day and answered any questions that we had. Josh, Nicole and Rob are true professionals that are passionate about the work they do and wanted to see us happy from start to finish. On the day of the wedding everyone at EXO showed up on time and eager to start capturing those memorable moments. As they entered my home they introduced themselves with a smile to each family member as well as my hairstylist/makeup artist and made everyone feel right at ease. Throughout the entire day they were ready to snap those candid shots and those preplanned shots that we asked for on our detailed form that we were given to fill out before the big day so that Josh and his team would know the shots with family members and friends that we had to capture on the day of. They didn’t miss a single one that we asked for. Our videographer Rob was right there with us capturing those moments as well, while Josh and Nicole were taking photos Rob was filming and planning our next video clip that would make our video unique and stand out from every other wedding video out there. After the reception was over at around five o’ clock in the evening my husband and I wanted to take photos at Long Beach since that’s where we got engaged. Josh and Nicole followed our limo in their car to the Long Beach boardwalk and we proceeded to take photos on the boardwalk and on the beach. After a long day that started at eight o’ clock in the morning Josh and Nicole were still full of energy and kept on taking photos till we left the beach at a little past nine o’clock at night. Josh and Nicole even drove us all the way back to the La Quinta hotel where we were staying in Garden City after the beach photo shoot. My husband and I decided that we wanted to take more photos at the Old Westbury Gardens where we had our wedding ceremony a few days later. Josh and his team arrived promptly as scheduled again and eager to take our photos. They continued to wow us with their artistic skills in photography and attention to detail. Josh and Nicole constantly checked each photo that was taken with their cameras and when needed advised us how to pose to get that optimal photo. We were even able to see several shots that were taken and they were absolutely stunning! We are extremely happy that we chose EXO Photography and Videography for our wedding and we know that anyone who chooses them will be extremely happy as well. Your wedding day is one of the most important days in your life and it’s your photographer and videographer that capture those memories that you can look back on and cherish forever. Therefore, it’s very important to choose the right one and my husband and I strongly believe that EXO Photography and Videography is it!

We booked exo for both photography and cinematography and are thrilled to say we made the right decision. When shopping for someone who you can rely on to get all the important shots it becomes very complicated because there are so many studios to choose from. We have been to many but both decided that we adore what they have to offer artistically. For the quality of work and albums we have received we really got a bargin. We highly recommend them!

I had three excellent photographers come to my very small event (10 of us in the wedding). They took hundreds of pictures at many angles & unexpected spots. The photos are beautiful and I couldn't be happier with them. The main photographer was a blast - very funny and entertaining - he had us all laughing, so we ended up with a lot of real shots of us all just enjoying the day. I would use EXO again in a heartbeat!!
