Expressive Catering

A friend of mine at work recommended Bonnie as a caterer for our wedding. I am so thankful for that recommendation! From the beginning Bonnie was a joy to work with. She is fun, friendly, and very accommodating. To top that off, the food is FABULOUS! She was kind enough to give us a tasting, and we knew instantly that her food was what we wanted. Everyone hates going to a wedding where the food isn't very good. You will NOT have to worry about that with Bonnie. The food is delicious and looks beautiful. We had many, many guests tell us how much they enjoyed their meal. My only wish is that she had a restaurant that we could go to all of the time! :) She is the best...great food, and affordable prices!!!

Bonnie catered my daughters wedding June 12th, 2015. Bonnie used all of her experience as a event manner and culinary genius to make our reception one to remember. Her attention to detail in set up, table decor and adding personal touches was outstanding. Food was fresh and tasty. Bonnie followed thru and asked many many questions to be sure our daughters reception was hers and her hubby s in everyway. The staff worked effortlessly and happily. It was wonderful. Thank you Bonnie and all for making our daughters night phenomenal.

It was absolutely wonderful working with Ms Bonnie! She was so nice, professional and accommodating. Ms. Bonnie had a challenge on her hands working with me and my mother because we had two different ideas for appetizers and dinner. Sometimes when she felt tension rise between my mother and I, she would cut the tension with her humor which I really appreciate. As the wedding got closer, she directed all of her questions and concerns to my mother because she knew I was getting stressed. That's the character you appreciate and need when planning a wedding. The number one thing my husband and I were concerned about was signing yes to a contract without tasting the food, we voiced our concerns to Ms. Bonnie and scheduled an appointment to taste test her food…delicious so we said yes. If we wanted to change anything we could contact her and make changes without any problems. When we got to the reception her staff left a plate of appetizers for us to snack on. My bridesmaids and I keep saying how good the tomato basil crackers were. The presentation of the buffet was great and the food was even better! Our guests said the food was the best food they had a wedding. Bonnie and her staff were great and I will recommend her to any bride looking for a caterer.

We loved every minute of working with Bonnie! She was willing to talk through all three types of catering options (buffet, plated, and food stations)-regarding costs, logistics, pros/cons. She was supportive of our final choice for the buffet and made it beautiful!! We had so many comments about how good the food was. Bonnie brought her experience as an event planner to the table as well-which was invaluable! Highly recommend expressice catering!

My husband and I used Expressive Catering for our wedding receptions- a buffet style dinner. Our experience working with Bonnie at Expressive Catering was excellent on the whole. She was always very responsive throughout the planning process, very willing to work with us- food and menu preferences, allergies, etc. as well as budgetary needs. The food was delicious- so many of our wedding guests have been very complimentary on the meal, as well as we ourselves loved it. The buffet display and decor was beautiful- she was very detailed in understanding our theme and decorating style for our reception and worked to match it, making the buffet and food display an elegant and beautiful piece of the decor. She was very attentive to details, which was incredibly helpful, especially in hindsight, because that means she knows exactly how things should look and work on the night of and can make sure that happens without stressing you and your family/wedding party out about it! For example, our venue didn't have an ice dispenser for beverages, which we were not aware of, and Bonnie and her team took care of it, bought ice and made everything go off without a hitch without anyone even noticing or being aware, my husband and I included, until after the wedding when she mentioned it to us! Everyone was able to be served their drinks, with ice, by the time they arrived for the cocktail hour, thanks to Bonnie and her team's responsiveness and service! We would recommend Expressive Catering to anyone! Loved the service and the quality and taste of the food!

Bonnie Hensley was not only an awesome caterer, she also has a background in event planning so she was just a great member of my wedding team :) We had a slider bar with homemade kettle chips, it was the perfect wedding meal. We wanted a meal that fit our wedding style, fun + laid back + new...we didn't want the same thing that we'd had at other weddings & Bonnie + staff delivered. They were beyond professional & really just made everything run smoothly. Not only was the food delicious, but Bonnie knows exactly how much we needed of everything & made the whole process as simple as it could be. They also work with the same rental companies, so Bonnie knew where to get the best linens & other rentals we needed. One thing I learned was the fewer vendors, the easier it is, so Bonnie was a dream come true in that aspect! She helped keep me on track throughout the planning process, & with my scatter-brained-ness, that's quite a task ;) She met with us before the wedding & really listened to our ideas & used her own experience to put together a menu that was the best wedding food I've ever had. We also had our rehearsal dinner @ Orange, her event space, & that was perfect also. My poor mom was so concerned about making sure she was doing all of her "mother of the bride" duties the right way so she called Bonnie with a few questions, & Bonnie took the time to reassure her...which meant a lot. I'd recommend Bonnie & her Expressive Catering team to anyone that wants a professional but fun caterer for their event. I'll for sure use Bonnie again when I need a caterer, not only because her food was the best, but also because she was so great to work with!!

Food was good. Loved the service. Bridal Party did not get enough food. Was supposed to be set aside for the bridal party and was not.
