Meanwhile, there was another group next to me and her consultant sounded awesome, they were going out by the window to look at dresses she was trying on and they were showing her all sorts of ways you could style them. Carol just seemed annoyed at the thought of trying on another dress similar to one my sister picked out, which was a silhouette that I did not anticipate liking but ended up liking a lot. Also, my budget is $1000 & under and they didn't have ANYTHING in my price range. I told them this when I booked the appointment but they didn't say anything about it, so I thought that they must have dresses within that price range. I would not recommend this salon.

a 3:00 opening..we went to another shop prior and was very spoiled...spent the morning just figuring out what I wanted..did not want to make a rash decision on the first place I went...We went to The Exquisite Bride and had same thought..not going to make a decision today..Was paired with Donette and she asked a few questions and I showed her what I was looking for and she explained how the shop was set up. We grabbed some dresses and went back to try them on.. In no way did she make you feel uncomfortable as she is helping you take these desses on and off..she ended up bringing back a dress I never would have tried on and it ended up being "THE ONE"..She was so helpful and attentive that I. So very thankful we were paired together. thank you so very much for a wonderful experience..

From start to finish they provided exceptional service. They are all so kind, professional and knowledgeable and will do whatever it takes to make sure that you find your dream dress and look incredible on your wedding day! Even if it means multiple visits! I am very, very indecisive and very particular and they were so very patient with me. They are very sensitive to your budget and do not pressure you into spending more money than you want to. They know their inventory extremely well- Danette helped me pick out the most perfect veil! They kept me apprised of the status of the dresses and my veil, and they made sure everything was smooth and easy. Even though we found the bridesmaids dresses elsewhere, we purchased them through Exquisite Bride because of their great service. And I would highly recommend having your dress altered there as well. Elena altered my dress, and she is a truly exceptional seamstress! I wanted a significant detail on the front of my dress changed, and by the time she was done you would have thought it came that way! And she is so kind as well! Even if you don’t live nearby, make sure to check out Exquisite Bride!

I went for my first alteration in the beginning of July with Ricky. He was down right rude. He told me to lose or gain all the weight I was planning to do before my second fitting. Then he was complaining about how beaded my bodice was and how much work it was going to be for him. He then told me how busy he was and how many dresses he had to do before mine. I am the bride, I don't want to hear about this. He said he would call me for my second fitting....he never did. I called the store at the end of September and a lady called me back saying she would now do my second and third fitting. When I asked why, she said Ricky had quit. (No one notified me!!! and my wedding was in weeks). I then had my second fitting and she was amazing. But then came the third and FINAL fitting. We show up and my dress WASN'T done! I was getting married in 5 days! The lace wasn't sewn on, the bust needed fixed, and the bustle was wrong. When we inquired about coming back to pick it up and if we could try it on she replied "You can try it on but I wont be here to fix anything". Meaning we may as well take it. She also kept talking about how many dresses were added on to her original amount because Ricky left. I was already stressed as it is. She also made a comment that "he can take off stuff now I have to teach him how to sow it on". I was not happy that someone else was handling my dress. The dress fit beautifully however my bustle was still wrong and the lace on the front of my dress was still too long. Even with my high heeled shoes on, most people couldn't see the intricate, scalloped lace. When I called the store to speak to a manager I actually got to talk to the owner. When I told her what Ricky had said and done she said "Now Carley we all know men aren't the greatest with words and that's probably not what he meant". She didn't care what was happening to me right before my wedding because they DON'T employ the seamstresses, they are contracted out. She had her money from the dress. I would get my dress from them but make sure you have someone else in mind to alter it!

y perfect for me. It was not what I initally thought that I wanted, but it was a perfect fit and more perfect than I could have imagined. They were flexible with my alteration times and helped to ensure that I looked perfect on my big day. The alterations were amazing and very reasonably priced. They did everything to make sure I looked like a beautiful bride to match my beautiful dress. The shop is very beautiful with lots of selections. They go above and beyond to make your shopping experience feel personalized. Linda has a talent for knowing what jewelry looks best and helping to make sure everyone in your bridal party is comfortable and looks their best. This shop was an absolute pleasure to work with. half before my wedding. My wedding is coming up in 2 months now, and I had an appointment to get it altered. I took the dress out of the bag that they put it in and it smelled so musty. Obviously in a panic, I called them and asked what to do only to get interrupted and told "Oh no, it's not our responsibility once you leave the store with it, there is nothing we can do." They were absolutely so rude and no help AT ALL. You would think people running a bridal shop would know a little about bridal gowns, but they don't. What bridal store makes you take your dress home because "they don't have room?" I also called the seamstress to see if she could recommend anything and of course she couldn't either, but did tell me I needed to do something about the smell if I wanted it out before dropping it off the next day. She said she keeps it until the wedding, so if it smelled when I took it, it would smell when I got it back for my wedding day. So I had to cancel my appointment and I'm going elsewhere. Exquisite bride also ordered my maid of honor's dress 2 sizes too small than what she ordered and tried telling her she gained 6 inches - and tried making her order A WHOLE NEW DRESS. This place is seriously a joke and if you're looking for a good bridal experience, go elsewhere.

She helped me try on a wide selection of dresses from their Loft offerings and I found several that I loved :) She was very conscious of my budget and didn't try to upsell me like I was afraid of after watching how other bridal salons operate. I found the perfect dress at an excellent price and couldn't be happier. The professionalism, care for their customers and fun offering at affordable prices is definitely worth the drive and the 5 star rating.

n a whim I gave this location a call and they were able to squeeze us in for an appointment the same day while everyone was still in town. I'm so happy that I did, because I found the dress of my dreams here! They were so nice to work with and I came back for all of my alterations. I was able to leave my dress and veil at the shop, which was a huge help since I was living with my fiance at the time and didn't have a place to store my dress. I had a great experience every time I went here and highly recommend them. I got so many compliments on my dress at my wedding!

The assistant manager and Joanne are a delight but unfortunately they can't make up for the rest of them. Went in the next day, less than 36 hours before my wedding, to be YELLED at by the "expert" seamstress, Deb, because I wanted to know how long it would take because decisions needed to be made. I left and hope to never see her again. She has many poor reviews online as well. Went to This Magic Moment and they found me a designer gown and pulled people from their other (personal) commitments to come and alter it so that I will have it in PLENTY of time to get it before my wedding. Go there instead.

She made me feel super comfortable and helped me with everything so the ladies I brought with me could just relax and enjoy such a special moment. inally gone to a very large bridal store outside of Pittsburgh and was so unhappy with the service. They rushed me along and were very rude. I even recommended EB to a girlfriend and she too found her dress there!! It's not the size of the bridal store-it's the way the staff treats you!!

Although alterations were a little expensive, I knew I was in good hands with Karen. Thanks to Exquisite Bride, I walked down the aisle in the gown of my dreams and it fit perfectly!

They also were unable to get any of the 3 dresses I wanted from the collection they advertised in their window! The next day I found exactly what I was looking for in 45 minutes at Bridal Beginning. I would not recommend at all - wish I'd just gone directly to the competitors.

employees were on the same page in regards to the situation I was experiencing. The alterations were given to me by the seamstress rather than me explaining how things fit on my body. Comments she made to me were the opposite of what was explained to the owner and therefore resulted in me leaving with my gown and no alterations completed. I actually ended up choosing a dress she brought in that I likely would have passed up if I were selecting them all myself! Their selection of gowns and quality of service cannot be surpassed. Danette and the staff made me feel beautiful and comfortable, and my family had an amazing experience as well. They know what they are doing and will make every bride feel fully taken care of. I will recommend this boutique to every bride I know! I can't wait to visit them again when my gown arrives, and I can't imagine a better dress-shopping experience--I could go on and on. sitant to get alterations done here because I read other reviews on how expensive they were. However, I wanted to make sure it was done right, so I stuck with them. My alterations were over $350 for the sides to be taken in slightly, a hem at the bottom, and a bustle. One of the ribbons was off of my bustle before we even walked down the aisle. My dress was strapless and the wire at the top of the one cup was flipped out my entire my wedding day. The seamstress knew this was an issue at my last fitting. I thought she was going to fix it, but apparently she didn't. In this case, as far as alterations, you definitely DO NOT get what you pay for. Take it somewhere cheaper.

They do let you take pictures here, which was imperative to my decision making process. I would have given them 5 stars but things fell apart a bit when it came to the alterations. In fact the in-house seamstress quit 2 days before the final fitting and the dress was not finished. Not their fault, but again, it did take away for an almost perfect experience. I strongly recommend them for their selection.

Not only did they allow me to basically choose any dress I wanted to try on, but they also made helpful recommendations on dresses that I never would have even dreamed of thinking about. I ended up with the PERFECT dress for me and had so many compliments on it. To note, we also got my bridesmaid dresses there, as well as mother of the bride and mother of the groom. That process went smoothly as well. Leading up to the wedding was also a breeze. I used a seamstress in house who was also excellent. Not to mention, they happily held onto and steamed each one of our dresses with pick-up two days before the wedding itself. Bottom line is Exquisite Bride provides truly exceptional service. I would recommend to anyone! :)

tiques before arriving at The Exquisite Bride, and they were the first place who I felt really listened to what I wanted from the start. From the start, I wanted to have a simple but elegant wedding dress that wasn't super expensive (even though they're all crazy expensive) and felt modest and appropriate to wear at my church ceremony officiated by my father-in-law. I never felt pressured to try on more expensive or revealing dresses, and the saleswomen were incredibly helpful and honest. The boutique feels intimate - like trying on dresses in someone's big, well-lit house - and my family felt very comfortable with the staff and atmosphere. In the end, they sold me a dress off the rack with a 10% discount. During my alterations (also at the shop), they sold me a gorgeous off-the-shoulder lace and beaded topper off the rack for another 10% off. While the shop was out of my way, it was worth the drive.

o make sure it was correct. Any good seamstress knows to tack instead of cutting off material for the next fitting. She then pieced it, sewed it crooked, etc. Then when showing her things that were wrong with the dress she stomped off like a child. I had to buy a new dress!! I did call the manager of the store and she had stated that the seamstress was not part of the store but she would talk to her. The seamstress never called to offer anything. In my opinion if you have a seamstress coming into your store then the store is responsible for her. I would advise if you are going to use Exquisite bride to find another seamstress!!

as Exquisite Bride. When I walked in, Danette greeted me with a huge smile, a hug, and gave me her full attention the entire time. As I tried on dresses, she guided her selections based on what looked good on my body and let me spend as much time as I wanted trying on each dress. This shop has all of the comforts of a high-end boutique - private dressing rooms, my own 3-way mirror to use, night-time lighting to see how the dress will look at your reception, a separate 3-way mirror in the front of the store to check yourself in natural light, and all accessories you can imagine (including a bouquet). I was also extremely picky about the type of straps that I want on my dress, and Exquisite Bride was the ONLY store that had extra straps to accommodate the look I wanted. In other stores, I was substituting belts and headbands for shoulder straps. Danette patiently guided me and my family into choosing the most beautiful dress. All of the sample sizes were too large on me, so Danette would clip the back of the dress to show me how the front looked, and then switched to clipping the front to show me how the back looked. She accessorized every dress that I tried on (which was a nice touch compared to other stores that would wait until the end to accessorize). I would HIGHLY recommend this bridal shop to everyone in Pittsburgh, and make sure you ask for Danette when you make your appointment!

d from the start. She asked me when the wedding date was, and after finding out it is 6 months away, she scoffed and said, "Umm, it takes 6 months for us to even get a dress in, so we'll see.." EXCUSE ME? I then proceeded to tell her I was browsing the Exqusite Bride site on my phone the night prior and took screenshots of 4 dresses I particularly liked that were available at the Gibsonia location. I went to show her and before I was even able to swipe to the 2nd picture, SHE WALKED AWAY FROM ME. She just started grabbing random dresses that weren't even the style I liked (which she would've known, had she even looked at the pictures I was trying to show her) and when I told her I didn't like them, she said "Well, you're going to have to pick dresses on your own, because I don't know what you're looking for." for." My mom chimed in "She really liked the ones she found on your site. Could you help her find those?" Mary Lou responded, "Had you written down the item numbers, I could find those dresses, but since you didn't, I don't know what they are." I was livid! I told her that had she even LOOKED at the pictures I was trying to show her, she would've seen the item number clearly printed under the photo of each dress. She found one. I told her I'd like to look on my own for a little while. She didn't leave me alone. After trying on a couple, she continued to act rude and unprofessional. I was done. I told her I didn't want to try anything else on, and left. It's sad, because one of the dresses I actually fell in love with. But there is NO WAY I would give my money to this business. Bottom line, ladies: get your dress somewhere else. Or at least don't let Mary Lou help you.

s that was $19 over was okay to let me try on.) The dress I ended up buying was one that was on a manequin. She took it down looked at the price and told me that it was close to $2000 (over my budget) but that it was a discontinued gown and it would therefore be half off (on budget.) I tried it on first and fell in love with it. My mother, however, wasn't convinced so I proceeded to try on about 10 more dresses before she finally said "If it's what you want, get it." And I did! All through my appointment I had excellent service. They even took the dress off the floor for a week so that I could bring my FMIL next week to see it before I bought it. Overall, just a great experience!

but we opted for convenience. We purchased my bridesmaids dresses from here (I am the bride). First off, I will say that I had a particular vision in mind, and the dress that I chose was only available through 2 places in the greater PGH area. Also, we ordered on a wing and a prayer because no one had a sample in stock to try on. The 2nd shop that had the dress was over an hour away, and the Exquisite Bride was, again, just convenient. However, they charged us more than the other store (per dress), which was unfortunate, and they wouldn't match the other store's price. They gave me all kinds of guilt trips since I was ordering something that they didn't have a sample of in the store (NOT MY FAULT!) Oh, and they don't answer the phone professionally at all, and you speak to a different person every time you call (when you have to ask who you are speaking to), but they don't ever say who is speaking, so you never know what information and messages are getting where. Their internet was down most of the time I called, which you'd think that a business that makes that much money, would have that figured out in 2015. When it came time to order the dresses (I had 4 bridesmaids, 2 of which were out of town), I was told that they needed 75% down to order. Each bridesmaid was told a different thing when she called to order: (1) went in to get measured, paid for her dress; (2) went in to get measured, was told that she didn't need to pay right then; (3) called in her measurements from out of town, was told that she didn't have to pay right then; (4) called in her measurements from out of town, had to pay over the phone to order. RIGHT. No idea how all that happened. THEN, the 2 girls who called in their measurements were supposed to sign waivers, which were never sent to them via e-mail (THEIR INTERNET WAS DOWN), and they were never signed. It takes less than a minute to send an e-mail. Luckily, the dresses did come in and they are beautiful. We did luck out after dealing with this shop. Now, I did call and ask a question about the dresses regarding alterations, and I wanted them to call the company and find out about an accurate description of the bottom of the gown. Well, she looked online at the picture and told me what it "looked like" which I could see just as well myself on my own screen. She never called the company and I never intend to call them back about this order. I got the dresses that match my vision, and I am very thankful for that, but throughout the process I would call them with questions or updates, and they were a nightmare to deal with. They were never considerate. We went into the shop 1 time to see what samples they DID have, and they were very aloof and were not attentive. We did have an appointment then. I've heard they only work "well" with brides and selling bridal gowns, and I have found this to be true on 3 different occasions (other bridesmaid dress experiences that were not my wedding). They were rude and unprofessional. I never wanted to give them my business in the first place. But again, we opted for convenience. I'm glad that the girls picked up their dresses and that they are out of their hands now. I will avoid this place from now on as much as I can help it.

I would recommend to anyone to always make sure the bustle is fully completed at your final fitting (mine wasn't) and have your bridesmaids try out the bustle a few times before you leave.

Since this was my first dress shopping experience, I had no idea how to browse but I came in with an idea of what I was looking for. Danette picked out a number of gowns that were exactly my style, and by the third dress I had found THE ONE! She dressed me up perfectly in order to allow me to have a full visual. She made my experience all the more special and a day I will cherish. Not only was my consultant super attentive, but the dresses were beautiful. They had a wide variety for it being a smaller store, and many were very unique rather than the typical every day bridal fashions. They were well kept, and hardly looked as if they had been tried on. I will say that I went to MB Bride after this just to try, and it did not even come close to Exquisite Bride. The staff were less adequate, and late for my appointment. So my advice is to just go to Exquisite Bride, and you will not be disappointed!

My overall experience was more than I had hoped for. I found the perfect gown and can't wait to wear it on my special day. Special shout out to DJ! my budget. I even told the lady helping me in the dressing room that I couldnt afford these dresses. All the ladies working there (about 10) including the OWNER said that I was the first one to walk through the door that day that could fit into the trunk show dresses and that they all wanted to see the dresses on someone....i feel very taken advantaged of and really disappointed. Of course my family loved a dress that was THREE times my budget. And even when I was trying on the dresses, all the workers came to see me in this designer's dresses. I did not have a lot of knowledge of weddings and the process of buying a dress (now i do!) and this shop played on my emotions and really disrespected me, my soon-to-husband, and forced me into buying a dress from the trunk show. After 2 days of comprehending what happened, I called the shop and requested to talk to the owner. She was not sympathetic, refused to admit what happened. I am just plain disappointed and WAY over budget and i still have to get alterations/etc. I suppose it is my fault for pulling out my credit card and signing on the line, but her employees and trunk show designer should have never interrupted my appointment like they did. The shop should just keep the dress and give me my money back.

I called to let them know we'd be late), so I can't really complain too much that they weren't prompt. However, the service was a let down in a huge way. My sister left the shop sobbing because the consultant we worked with wanted her to take off the dress and have the other bridesmaid put it on because she "wanted to see one of the dresses all the way zipped." My sister was already clearly uncomfortable that none of the dresses fit her well and as the consultant kept asking about the size she was visibly more upset, but the consultant just kept on going. We left the appointment without any purchases because I won't give my business to a place without tact or sensitivity. Additionally, I didn't feel that the consultant respected me. She talked over me and when I tried to get her to stop asking about sizes, she kept going, leading to the zipper incident. My sister felt like the consultant was calling her fat, which is uncalled for. Further, when I asked her to stop on that path of questioning, she should have done it. I felt rushed, disrespected, and unvalued. I called the manager to tell her about the incident, and while she was quick at getting back to me, I did feel that she didn't think the consultant did anything wrong by being so insensitive. She kept making excuses and telling me the consultant didn't mean to say it and she's really a nice person. She was sorry that I had a bad experience, but she still didn't seem to think the consultant did anything wrong. I felt that she accepted the consultant's explanation too readily and gave my feelings almost no weight. On top of that, part of her explanation was that they had tried on 28 dresses -- why is that even relevant? When I bought my dress, I tried on over 30, and the consultant didn't complain when my appointment went twice as long as I scheduled, or when I wanted to try on earlier dresses again, or when I stayed long enough that the store should have closed already. A good consultant doesn't try to rush or push you into making a decision that way. I don't know whether there will be any changes to make sure this doesn't happen again, but it ruined our entire dress shopping experience. It was the worst dress vendor that I've been to for either bridal or bridesmaids dresses. On top of the service, many of the dress samples were fraying and even with dresses that should have zipped size-wise, the zippers were broken. They have a large selection of Bill Levkoff dresses, but not many of the other brands they carry. Not all of the brands listed on their website are available at all of the locations.

I would suggest looking into other seamstresses if you know of any or if you are on a budget looking into a bridesmaid dress or wedding dress store that includes alterations- especially to keep cost low for your bridal party!

She had a very good feel on how I wanted to look on my big day and one of the dresses she suggested ended up being the one! I had the dress altered there by a woman named Sayda, who was amazing! She made the dress look as if it were made for me. Such a plus because the alterations can really make or break a dress! Buying a wedding dress is a long process (choosing, ordering/delivery time, alterations, steaming) so plan ahead in general, but the women there made it easy. Also, I learned that when dealing with wedding dresses, the designers fix the prices, so bargain shopping just doesn’t work. It is best to choose the store based on service and the quality of the alterations, as all of the stores will offer the same dress at the same price. I would definitely recommend going to the Exquisite Bride (especially in Gibsonia, where I went) for great service from beginning to end, friendly staff and a great selection. No regrets from this bride here.

Because of their two stores you can find pretty much any dress you could imagine. They have a good range of prices (discontinued dresses as well as higher end dresses, and everything in between) and the women I worked with made me feel like there is no pressure to spend more than I wanted to. I really appreciated the no pressure approach. They made sure I looked great for the budget I had set. Also, the alterations are super well done in the store. The seamstress who I had the pleasure of working with, Saida, really made an already fabulous dress fit perfectly to my body! A nip here and a tuck there (and a cup here and there ;) and I looked like I had the body I would love to have. Everything on time and well done. I would recommend The Exquisite Bride in a heartbeat.
