Exquisite Event Details

We held our daughter's wedding at Blithewold Mansion in Bristol, R.I. Given the crazy pandemic situation our plans changed many times and working with Nancy at Exquisite Events was so easy and non-stressful. The staff at EE had some great ideas, worked with my daughter's vision and even accommodated a crazy topiary display that mom insisted on. While we had less than 50% of the guests we anticipated, EE ensured our space was beautifully laid out and stunning. We had many guests comment on how beautiful it looked and felt. Thank you Exquisite Events!

We held our daughter's wedding at Rosecliff in Newport and are beyond grateful for the incredible help we received from Stasia, Stephanie and the whole EE team. Leading up to our event, we had regular and reliable communication with EE, who provided us with guidance every step of the way. If we had a new idea - they vetted it for us and made sure that our event would come off without a hitch - which it did. It was a truly perfect weekend and we owe it all to the EE team. When we arrived at our accommodations in Newport, we were immediately met by Stephanie who made sure we were well-situated. Appointments had been made for us for blow-outs and tanning, and we were advised of the perfect place for our large take-out order that evening. The following day, EE set up a perfect bridal luncheon in advance of our rehearsal. Our rehearsal dinner, for about 80 people, was outside along the water and as the evening cooled down, the EE team miraculously appeared with blankets for our guests. EE was everywhere we needed to be and anticipated all of our needs. The morning of the wedding, two EE teammates arrived early and made sure the bridesmaids and groomsmen were fed and that their clothes were camera-ready. One of the groomsmen forgot his tux overseas and the EE team (without alerting and alarming everyone else) made sure he immediately had a perfectly fitting tux from a local vendor. I only found out about it a week after the wedding. Our shuttle arrived and took the wedding party to the venue on time and then with a group of other shuttles organized by the EE team, picked up all of our guests for a full house as the wedding began. We met up with Stephanie at Rosecliff, which under her direction, along with our other fabulous vendors, was perfect and stunning. Our entire evening was literally seamless - EE was there from beginning to end - and as we left our after party - all of our guests were directed to our transportation and arrived to their hotels without problem. The morning after the wedding, Stephanie and Stasia showed up at our brunch to make sure that too was perfect, and it was. I honestly can't say enough good things about the EE team. We needed a professional and reliable planning team and they took care of us at every turn. We recommend them without hesitation - thank you, thank you, thank you!

We signed on with Exquisite about 9 months prior to our wedding. We had already done what felt like the bulk of the planning such as venue, transportation, room block, entertainment, photographer, etc so we hired them to assist us in the final month of the preparations. We believed we were already on top of everything and pretty close to being done with the planning process but we learned pretty quickly that there was so much more that we had not yet considered. Exquisite helped us tie up our many loose ends and bring many more ideas and details to our big day. Exquisite is a small company with only a few members of the staff so they limit how many weddings they take on and are able to really focus on each individual event. Being small made it really easy for us to get in touch with Stasia, Nell and Stephanie whenever we had questions or ideas to incorporate into our day. We were going to have a hell of a wedding anyway but Exquisite addressed so many little details that brought our wedding beyond our wildest imaginations. This team is very experienced and they have planned many weddings and other events. They have seen just about every wedding idea out there and helped introduce new ideas for our wedding day and most importantly they knew how to bring the whole picture together. Stasia, Nell and Stephanie stayed on top of us throughout the entire process. Their attention to detail helped catch anything from slipping through the cracks. Sometimes it was actually annoying sending emails back and forth daily but that constant contact prevented us from procrastinating so we were able to stay ahead of schedule and enjoy a mostly stress free engagement. As for the actual wedding they went above and beyond to take care of us and our wedding party. We had the main Exquisite team on site as well as a few extra assistants who took care of every need. Their team basically waited on us hand and foot all weekend so that we could soak up every minute. Wedding weekend they became the jack of all trades steaming our clothing, picking up takeout food and snacks, personal uber drivers/designated drivers/chauffeurs, they stocked up and decked out the marital suite, solved multiple major wardrobe malfunctions, kept us fully fed and hydrated (mostly with wine) at our wedding and best of all they dealt with every single vendor all weekend so that all we had to do was party! 10 out 10 would recommend them again! As for the day before the wedding and our actual wedding day they essentially waited on the entire wedding party

It’s hard to adequately express how wonderful it was to work with Stasia Anthony, Stephanie Noel and the entire Exquisite Events team for our daughters wedding. The task was quite complex with the bride and the venue located in two different places on the West Coast and parents living on the East Coast. Stasia and the team made every aspect of the destination wedding weekend easy and seamless. Their exceptional vision, professionalism and perfect execution of every detail throughout the wedding weekend went well beyond our expectations! We can honestly say that choosing Exquisite Events as the wedding event planners for our daughters wedding was the best decision we could have made. Each member of the team did an exceptional job and we value the relationship we have with them. We are grateful to Exquisite Events for making our daughters wedding everything she had hoped for and more!

We had a disappointing and stressful experience with Exquisite Events of Newport, RI for the planning and giving of a wedding in September 2019. The EE team, led by Stasia Anthony, was sloppy and disorganized. They were difficult to get ahold of and responsiveness was poor. Attention to detail was lacking and as a result constant mistakes were made, from the reply cards to catering numbers to wedding transportation. As the planning process continued, it became clear that EE was significantly understaffed and overcommitted. Beyond that, Stasia, who had been on our initial calls, became less and less involved as the planning process continued. Instead our main point person became someone who was far less experienced and who lacked both vision and a design esthetic. Of all our disappointments with EE, this and the way in which Stasia comported herself while on site at our home in advance of the wedding, were the greatest. Here are some of the other things that happened: Just weeks before the wedding, the transportation vendor who was to shuttle all 200 of or guests pulled out because of their concerns about a lack of responsiveness on the part of Exquisite Events. As a result, last minute shuttle busses had to be secured at a much higher cost. EE was in charge of coordinating these new wedding shuttles. The shuttle that was to pick up the bridal party and take them to the church never materialized. The entire bridal party had to scramble at the last minute to drive themselves to the church, a half hour away. As a result, the bridal party was late to the ceremony. The afternoon of the ceremony, per our instructions, a $600 custom aisle runner was installed in the church by the florist. Just prior to the ceremony, this runner was removed by one of the EE staff members (without ever consulting us). It was never returned to us and no explanation was ever provided. Six “transportation concierges” who were to travel on the shuttle busses to make sure “things ran smoothly” never showed up. We were charged for them, nonetheless. Two days before the wedding, when we complained to Stasia about the disappointing level of service, she told us we should have signed up for her “full service” planning instead of her “mid-level” planning. We followed up with her via email to clarify that we had signed up and paid for the “full service” planning. Shockingly, she never responded or acknowledged this egregious error on her part. At this same meeting, Stasia demanded to be paid in full. We said we weren’t comfortable with that given all of the mistakes that had been made and the conditions of the contract that hadn’t been met. She said if we didn’t pay her in full, she would direct her team (who were en route to the wedding location) to turn around and not show up for the wedding. It was nothing short of extortion. From that moment on Stasia was cold and unfriendly, casting a negative vibe on what was otherwise the most joyful of times for our family. Amazingly, Stasia left without saying goodbye, nor wishing our daughter well. The lack of professionalism, and humanity, on her part was truly shocking. When our daughter got engaged, and we made the decision to hire Exquisite Events, it was because we wanted to take at least some measure of stress out of the process. With EE, that never happened. Our experience with EE was hugely disappointing. We do not in any way recommend their services.

I am so happy that we added EE Décor to our vendor team. We decided we wanted draping, chandeliers etc. We ended up adding lounge furniture, bars and a few other special items. I truly believe the items we added brought my dream to life. Everything was truly exquisite, working with the team at EE was also amazing. They were very responsive, offered up beautiful design ideas but I never felt pressured into anything. Their catalog of items also goes unmatched in the area, I would highly recommend them for any wedding or event because we could not have been happier.

We hired Exquisite Events Decor for our Aug 17 Linden Place wedding and we were so happy with them from start to finish. We worked with Katherine Sloan and she helped us design our dream wedding! She was so helpful and always providing ideas and helping us visualize what we had in mind. Their work is absolutely amazing and all our decor, lighting, fabric swags etc. could not have been installed more perfectly. We are so happy we went with Exquisite Events and couldn’t be any happier with our wedding turned out! Hire them and ask for Katherine :)

I used Exquisite Events for my June wedding. They provided a long table, lawn chairs, and a beautiful library style bar as well as tent lighting and fabric. All these additions really gave a really nice pop to our event. The Edison light bulb lightening was especially beautiful and looks so great in all our photos. A few different people handled our account over the 18 months, but it all went smoothly. Would definitely recommend them!

I cannot rave enough about the Exquisite Event's team! We met Stasia in person and then spoke with her over the phone and her team to plan our wedding day over the course of 10 months. Stasia was an absolute pleasure to work with. She listened to my vision completely and throughout our time together would offer helpful advice and suggestions. Her expertise in the Newport area made the process seamless and I am thrilled with all her suggestions for décor, planning of our schedule, and of course meeting our officiant, Rev. Alan Neale. During the 10 months, we received great detailed plans, updated every few months. The exquisite events team made sure I was up to date on all the major items we needed to address and gave very clear punch lists. The lists were not overwhelming, but very helpful and organized. The team helped coordinate with vendors and always made sure I was happy and would offer to help in anyway. When the wedding weekend came I had full confidence that the EE team would make sure our wedding day went perfectly smooth. They helped coordinate all the external parties at the Belle Mer, trolleys to and from hotel and church, welcome bags, etc. They made my day completely carefree and I just could relax and enjoy with my friends and family. The team brought us breakfast and lunch to our bridal suites so no one was running around day of, they helped steam our bridesmaid gowns, groomsmen suits, and my bridal gown and husband’s suit. Every single detail was thought of!! Even at the end of the wedding night our bridal suite was cleaned up and organized, but also we were welcomed by rose petals and champagne. Little touches like these made our wedding even more special! The EE team was such a friendly and dedicated group that my mom and I kept saying how happy we were to have such a supportive and hard working team making sure we were relaxed. If you are looking at someone for extra wedding planning help I would absolutely recommend exquisite events! They will help make your wedding day a dream come true!

We could not have imagined a more beautiful, fun or well orchestrated wedding weekend with every detail attended to. Stasia counseled, advised and assisted with important decions and choices, from the catering menus to the all important perfect band. Angela was an amazing 'detailer' , leaving nothing undone. Our wedding day attendants were a pleasure to be with, keeping everyone on schedule. We were able to enjoya our guests and the beautiful day without worrying about any of the behind the scenes details. Stasia is at all times creative, professional and calm. It was a complete pleasure working with her and with her team.

Exquisite Events did an amazing job for our daughters wedding. They were so attentive during the planning and the day of... felt like we were treated like royalty. They were so good with details as well. They took care of not only us and the bridal party but all of our 170 guests. Very professional!! I worked with Stasia and Angela to help plan our wedding this past July at the New York Yacth club in Newport. The team made the whole process a lot easier - especially since I was living in NY at the time. They were always available to answer any questions and met with me on various occasions, including at an inivation shop in Brooklyn . They’ve worked with so many vendors in the area and were able to help me find some of the great vendors we chose. They also had no problems working with those I chose that were new to them, including my photographer and videographer. You have to work with so many different people while planning a wedding, and Stasia and Angela helped keep everything organized and running smoothly through the whole process. The day of was comepetly stress free. They made sure EVERYTHING was taken care and that my husband and I were having the most perfect day. They are definitely experts in wedding planning, particularly in the Rhode Island area. I would recommend them to anyone!

Exquisite Events was integral in making our wedding the success that it was. Even with the added logistics of our two wedding day ceremonies (Indian and Exchange of Vows) as well as our Thursday night Sangeet event, Exquisite Events helped to ensure everything went smoothly and that our wedding vision was achieved. One of the most important contributions from Exquisite Events was their attention to detail as expert wedding planners. There were a lot of nuances and intricacies that we would otherwise have not even considered had they not been there to help us. Their experience in planning weddings helped in improving our vision and achieving a memorable celebration for our friends, family, and us. Overall, Exquisite Events was a valuable guide and trusted expert in our planning and throughout our wedding events. We are so glad we brought them in to our important event and have so much gratitude to them for making our wedding weekend the best days of our lives.

Stasia and Stephanie were unbelievable to work with throughout my entire wedding planning experience. The weekend went off without a hitch and even in the event of rain they were able to quickly react and create an unforgettable night. From start to finish, Exquisite Events was so accommodating and went above and beyond to help me with anything I may have needed. What their team did to transform our venue was truly remarkable! I waited until our introduction to see the the venue and I was blown away! The drapes and chandelier truly made the room and was exactly what I had envisioned. It was the perfect combination of elegance and class and was exactly what I wanted. We couldn't have been happier with our choice!

e loved working with the Exquisite Events team to plan and help with our wedding day of! We worked predominantly with Lauren, whose attention to detail and organization is unmatched. Stasia was also instrumental in helping us to think of new or different ideas than we had originally thought of with respect to seating, floral arrangements, table scape, and reception timing/logistics. Stasia and Lauren helped us select excellent vendors, such as a florist, cake, etc. They worked directly with the vendors (even those we selected separately) to really be the main point of contact and streamline communications. Throughout the planning process, Stasia and Lauren were extremely available - we met multiple times in person, they were present at our tasting and working with the venue, and they kept us on target timeline wise by creating monthly punch lists for us. Not only that, but we had SO much fun with them during the planning! They really made it enjoyable and helped in navigating some challenging dynamics like guest list and all of our various family priorities. During the wedding weekend, it felt like we had their undivided attention and support - there was a member of the Exquisite Events team available at every point helping with steaming clothes, organizing breakfast/lunch, making sure we had everything we needed and so did our family and bridal party. Daryl, the team member who was with me most of the morning getting ready, even steamed my dress after the car ride to the church and before the ceremony! Even our guests and bridal party commented on how incredible Stasia, Lauren and team were over the course of the weekend. I'm sure there were minor glitches, but they just resolved everything without my parents and I even knowing! The Exquisite Events team was supportive and helpful at every step of the process, and I can't imagine the weekend without their expertise - I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding day, and it is in very large part to their hard work.

It doesn't get much better than this when it comes to wedding planners. I worked very closely with Kristina at EE who is phenomenal. I mean seriously, she is on point. She thinks of everything and is so quick to reply to all of my questions. She was so helpful with everything—for example when we I picked a photo book option but then learned it wasn’t exactly what I wanted, her immediate response was “We’ll make it exactly how you want it!” and she did. About a week or so before the wedding, we were informed by the hotel where we were having the wedding that we had to end everything outside in the tent an hour early (scary!!) due to town regulations that were now in place. Kristina and Statia immediately reached out to make a plan (saying “let’s turn this into a positive”) and we ended up moving the wedding up an hour so the band could play the full amount of time outside and then we moved inside for a late night DJ scene afterwards and the DJ scene (Stasia & Kristina’s idea) was AMAZING! It was one of my favorite parts of the wedding. I’m telling you these wedding planners are unbelievable. I would recommend them to anyone. They are so detail oriented, on top of things, and most importantly, fun people to work with. I’m just sad the weddings over so I don’t have a good reason to reach out anymore!

We highly recommend Stasia, Lauren and the Exquisite Events team! They were fantastic to work with on planning our wedding in Newport in August 2015! They worked with the parents of the bride locally and seamlessly handled long-distance communication with the bride and groom in Colorado by frequent emails and accommodating a few quick weekend trips we made to RI! They were organized, responsive, pleasant, creative and very capable! They provided excellent recommendations for vendors such as Paper Moss for our invitations and our band DeZyne (almost all of our guests were on the dance floor all night)! They handled the creative details that made our wedding so beautiful! We knew that all of the logistics of the weekend were in good hands so we could relax and enjoy the weekend with our family and friends! Stacie Anthony and her team at Exquisite Events went far beyond our expectations to make our wedding vision a reality. Stasia and her team at Exquisite Events helped with my sister-in-law's wedding in 2014 in Newport at Castle Hill, and all I heard the whole wedding weekend was what saviors the team was for the family. So, when my fiance and I got engaged not long after that and we decided on a Newport wedding, we knew hiring Exquisite Events was one of our first to-dos. We got married in September 2015 at Newport Country Club, a venue that requires a lot of extra support and vendors to be brought in to carry out the event. I can't express enough how instrumental having Stasia, Lauren and the team by my side through the planning process was. I work in PR and know the excessive organization and planning that goes into an event, and as a result, understand what makes for a good events team - and I can't recommend this team enough. Our day was truly unforgettable and went exactly how we would have hoped and it wouldn't have been the case if not for hiring Exquisite Events. They are now working with us to plan my sister's wedding this June!

DO NOT look anywhere else if you are planning a wedding! Our daughter got engaged and married within 9 months. We got to enjoy every minute of the wedding weekend because we knew Stasia and her team had it all under control. The guests even commented how fabulous Stasia's team was, that is the impression they made on everyone! People are still commenting how our wedding was the best they had ever attended and we owe it all to EE.

My husband and I were married this past October in Newport, RI. Stasia Anthony (wedding planner) and her team were absolutely incredible. Stasia and her entire team are absolutely amazing! They are incredibly organized and handled everything efficiently, professionally, and with the highest level of taste. Our "day of" team was wonderful and were such a big help getting everyone organized, ready, and looking great. They were a huge part of making sure the wedding party and family (particularly my mother) were stress free on the big day and the days leading up to it. They were so easy to work with and were also fun to have around. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and amazing and I don't know what we would've done without them!

I used Exquisite Events solely for lighting. I had a 60x90 tent that they decorated with string lights. It was beautiful! After talking with me, they came up with a scheme that fit the mood I was aiming for and their price (while not cheap) was much more reasonable than all the other lighting vendors I received quotes from. The lights made such a huge difference. Plus, I only contacted them the week before the wedding and somehow they made it happen!

I didn't ask much of Exquisite Events, so I can't say I was TOO disappointed, but what we did require was not executed in the most professional manner. All we needed was lighting, which they don't provide but outsource, and linens, again which are rented from an outside company, which our caterer could have arranged. So I found myself wondering why we actually hired them in the first place - really just for access to a lighting designer which there should be more of in RI! At our one meeting, during which we were supposed to choose our linens - the linen samples were not there to choose from. My one request (that certain trees be lit during our ceremony) was never met. So, I was not happy with the service, but I'm sure we were not much of a priority since they were doing so little for us. Seems like it's smarted to hire a great caterer (like Morin's) and have one less cook in the kitchen. How to find a lighting designer though, is a challenge!
