Bukky listened to my ideas, developed a beautiful design mock-up to share with me and executed it flawlessly. Beyond that, she was kind and friendly to work with, open to unique requests (I had some personal items I wanted to incorporate into the bridesmaid bouquets and she was so accommodating!), and so clearly concerned with making sure that my husband and I were happy with how things turned out. I can't recommend her enough. She is an artist. She is a professional. She clearly has integrity in her work. Heck, she was even an advocate for me when ones of my other vendors tried to bully me. TLDR: YES. I would hire Bukky all over again, and you should, too. She will exceed expectations.

I hired Bukky as my planner, she also did the decor for my wedding ceremony while someone else did the reception decor (I mean the person did absolutely nothing). I have heavily disappointed by my other decorator, Bukky and her assistant worked tirelessly that day to use the items from my ceremony to get my reception room together (note they didn’t have to do this, I didn’t hire her for this but she did this for, she had a plan b). I didn’t know what I did to deserve this from Bukky but she was a big sister to me, she worked so hard and effortlessly to make sure she didn’t see tears on my face and didn’t even want my husband to tell me anything when things were going haywire, she cried for me and was upset for me, like how could someone do this to a person on their big day. Bukky was heaven sent to me, I feel like God knew how this day would turn out and he put this lady by me to make things perfect because trust me, if Bukky wasn’t at my wedding, I wouldn’t have had a reception at all because nothing was done in my room where the reception was supposed to hold immediately after ceremony as of the time the ceremony was over (my reception was meant to start at 5:30pm, it didn’t start until 7pm because someone didn’t do what they were paid to do and Bukky had to pick up the slack without charging any extra fee). I can go on and on about everything this lady did on my wedding day, but the point I’m trying to make is; Bukky is an amazing person, she is someone you want in your corner, she played any role you could think of on my wedding day (do I talk about how she jumped in on the buffet station to serve food to my guests to reduce the lines), even when I forgot and didn’t even ask her to, she remembered to pack flats for me incase my feet hurts from the heels, she is a loving person and she really is meant for this to put smiles on many bride’s face. I’m not letting this lady here go, yes my wedding is over but I will keep in touch because she is like the sister I never had. She was wonderful, paid attention to details and was very professional. I call her a planner from heaven and that’s what she is, she understood her assignment from God and this is why I think no man can bring her down because she does what she does with her whole heart. Bukky just know that I love you so much and please come and adopt me as your sister because you are now my big sister and I’m part of your family now whether you like it or not. Even Ike was telling his family yesterday he thank God for you, that you literally saved the day and people didn’t even know what was done behind closed doors, thank you so much and God bless you ma’am.

Either way, I am grateful for her ears that listened throughout this stressful process, even when I wasn’t making sense to myself. It’s an honor to have worked with Exquisite Events Floral Design and such wonderful sister companies in the making of a grand celebration. Also, so much quality in what you’ll pay for, luxury is in the name, and it is exactly what you’ll get.

so added her Day of Coordinator services to our package and agree that it was one of the best decisions we could have made. She worked well with all of our vendors and did an awesome job keeping us on track prior to the wedding and on the day of our wedding. Everything was truly perfect and flowed well! Bukky and had team went above and beyond for our wedding in the midst of the pandemic where we were heavily restricted and faced with constant changes up until our wedding day.

I expressed to her that I was specific about my vision for the decor, and also expressed that I was particular about the decor. She reassured me, but once she had my $3000 deposit her tone completely changed. She became as rude as when I first met her at my friend Ngozi's wedding, who graciously still gave her a good review despite her rudeness being the talk of the wedding reception among the wedding party. Even despite COVID, she emailed me today insisting that I pay her another $3000 today despite that I pushed my wedding to July 2021, although her contract had a provision for a credit in the case of COVID. She also emailed me earlier this week telling me she double booked another bride for my wedding date and asking me if I could change my wedding date on her behalf, FOR A SECOND TIME, at which time I told her she could go ahead with the other bride, but then she rudely told me that she would figure it out with the other bride. Today, I decided working with someone so unprofessional and rude is not worth the headache, so I told her to keep the $3000 as a bonus for her unprofessionalism. I would not recommend her to my enemy. And if someone shows you red flags, believe them.

My husband and I couldn't be any more pleased with the way she came through for us. Not only on our wedding day, but throughout the entire wedding process. Oh did I mention she managed 275+ friends and family the day of the wedding (all while making sure I stayed cool, calm and collective)? She was able to adapt and make quick adjustments when things went wrong that were outside of our control. Her problem solving and multi-tasking skills are exceptional! I can not even begin to imagine my wedding day without Bukky. Bukky did an amazing job at really listening to what I wanted for my wedding day and adding in her expertise for all design ideas. The ceremony room was very elegant. The Chuppah she created for the ceremony surpassed our expectations in quality and overall beauty. The sweetheart table and centerpieces were the talk of the night! The overall detail her team has when designing a ceremony and reception room is remarkable to say the least. It was worth every penny! She is truly gifted. I am still getting compliments today at how beautiful our room was and we owe it all to Bukky!

We had few phone calls and Bukky was very polite and professional. My fiancé and I were private and we wanted certain things a particular way. Bukky was kind enough to accommodate our wishes and modified the contract. When we needed answers to questions or vendors’ follow ups, Bukky was one step ahead of us. The highlight of our wedding was the decoration and how smoothly everything went; our guests are still telling us how great the wedding was. The decoration was truly exquisite and I literally cried when I saw my venue. Bukky, I wished I met you a year back and I could have saved myself time but things happen for a reason. Somehow Bukky managed to work her magic and handle all the things that seemed like it was too late to address.
