I’ll start off by saying that if I could give ZERO STARS, I would!!
Sal was booked as my wedding DJ on Saturday night 7/20/19 and NEVER SHOWED UP!! There was no communication from him to his entire team, everyone was looking for him - calling ...and texting him to no avail, including myself and my father as we were waiting to walk down the aisle as well as during my entire cocktail hour. Nobody on his team knew my song selection for ceremony, and started asking me what to play 10 MINUTES BEFORE I WAS SUPPOSED TO WALK DOWN THE AISLE. Live musicians I hired for ceremony were set up elsewhere since they didn’t have proper direction from their boss. COMPLETE DISASTER. My guests sat in the ceremony with no music or bridal party for 20 minutes while I had to sort this out and i ultimately had to get my groomsmen to carry audio equipment across the venue so we had the proper ceremony music.
1 hour before my reception was supposed to start, I learn that I didn’t have a DJ at all!! Not only did Sal not show up, he didn’t get coverage!! Between Sal’s crew and my amazing venue, they somehow pulled together some hobo radio DJ, NOT A WEDDING DJ, who basically didn’t know how to mix music. All my months of planning went to shit! This new DJ arrived 15 minutes before my reception was supposed to start. It was an utter disaster, causing my party to start late and cutting my reception short. Made me, my husband and my family scramble to make sure we had music and missed our entire cocktail hour cleaning up this mess Sal created. Once the party finally started, we realized that not only was Sal, the company owner/my DJ MIA, but 2 of the live musicians that were contracted for my reception weren’t there either.
Once Sal did finally call me the afternoon AFTER my wedding, he was unapologetic and was trying to provide excuses and reasons why this wasn’t his fault. Complete joke!!! No professionalism in this company at all!!
I hope no bride EVER has to experience what I did. The entire first half of my wedding was RUINED because of Sal’s inability to properly run a company! Months of planning went completely down the drain. They closed out my wedding with my top song from my DO NOT PLAY LIST. If you had plans to book with Extravagant, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ELSEWHERE!!! If you have a party booked, try to REVOKE YOUR CONTRACT and book with a professional organization. If the owner doesn’t care about clients, his team won’t either!!! It’s been a week since my wedding and he still won’t own up to the fact that he screwed up!! THIS COMPANY AND ITS OWNER ARE A JOKE!!
