About this vendor
Located near Grapeview, WA, Fair Harbor Marina and Pavilion is a scenic waterfront wedding venue. Owners Kelly and Cindy Granger are delighted to share the beauty of this area with visitors to this coastal locale. Your special day can be held right here, at a lovely sea-side spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city!
2019 was a big year for both Fair Harbor Marina and the Grangers alike! Inspired by a Harley ride and a visit to friends in the area, Kelly and Cindy got the idea to take over the Marina. Vern and Susan Nelson had finished 30 years of running this sea-side treasure, so the Grangers had an opportunity to pick up the flag. This couple continues to keep the Marina as a place for families, a hub of the local community, and the Pavilion as a venue for weddings. Since May 2019, the Marina has also offered secure mooring for boats, a fuel dock, and a supply store. This is a place for people to gather to make lasting memories together.
The feel of the Northwest is found everywhere at Fair Harbor Marina. The water, the trees, the hot summers, and cold beverages all tell a story. Here, you can host an important chapter of your own story. The Marina offers water amenities and unique options for your special day. You can sail to this venue via yacht, mooring steps from the Pavilion. Your honeymoon can begin with a romantic flight by floating seaplane, or continue right here, amidst the scenic surroundings of the Washington coast.
The Pavilion is a verdant waterfront setting that is ideal for gatherings, whether parties, ceremonies, or receptions, for up to 150 guests. The Grangers lead a team that wants this to be the site of happy times for you and your loved ones. This team can assist you with planning your happy day, arranging your flowers, installing decor, and much more. The 16-foot buffet table readily hosts a variety of tempting fare for you and your guests. In all, you get to enjoy the authentic stone fireplace, glittering chandeliers, and the awe-inspiring atmosphere of this beautiful place.

Hello, I am the Groom of a recent wedding at Fair Harbor Marina. The reason I will NEVER recommend this place for a wedding and caution lovely couples to stay away is below. I would like to start off and say the physical venue is perfect for a wedding around 100 people. They have a nice area next to the water for the ceremony and the reception area is amazing. We had Mama Stortini’s cater the wedding and I cannot recommend them more. They are a little expensive but worth the price. The owner, Kelly, seems like a very friendly person. He is very much a salesmen’s when it come to talking about his venue. In the contract it states “Shots of alcohol are not permitted at any time during the rental period”. That was fine because when my wife and I toured the place he informed us the way around the that rule is to buy premade cocktails in a can. He even recommended “Sex on the Beach” and “Jack and Coke” to us to purchase for the bride and groom quarters. Given the recommendation that we were able to bring canned cocktails, the wedding party bought small 8oz cans if “Cutwater” that are made with tequila to be drank in the Grooms quarters only, in the designated drinking area Kelly gave us. In the grooms quarters (designated drinking area by Kelly), there are no trash cans. A wedding party member went up to the reception area to find a trash can to throw away 2 EMPTY cocktail cans away. Upon going to the reception area, he could not find a trash can either so they sat the 2 empty cans at their parents table to be disposed of as they had to return for pictures. Kelly found one of these cans on the table (empty and crushed) and became very irate. My coordinator followed his instructions and the DJ started to make his announcements. During the DJ’S announcement, Kelly, came up to him and ripped the microphone out his hand and decided to make his own announcement. Kelly stated there was guests at the wedding drinking hard alcohol and threatened to shut down the whole wedding. He did this in a tone that was very disrespectful and unprofessional. Again, in the contract that I signed states, “Shots of alcohol are not permitted at any time during the rental period”. That’s it. No where in the contract does it state that canned cocktails are not allowed. I called Kelly the next day and Kelly stated he made it clear that there was to be no hard alcohol at the reception. When I brought up the fact that there wasn’t, only the canned cocktails that he recommended to us, he stated I put his whole business at risk. He then told me the canned cocktails are supposed to be Wine and Malt Liquor based, which is nowhere in his contract. Here are some issues with that: 1. That is not a cocktail. Also, why would he suggest 2 drinks clearly made with hard alcohol? 2. That was not specified before the wedding, and day of my wedding is when decides to make that known to all of my guests with a threatening speech. 3. Once again, it does not state any of this in his Venue Rental Agreement terms and conditions. On the phone, it was clear, he was not sorry for being unprofessional and very rude to my guests and I. He never apologized nor did he return our $750 damage deposit. Nothing was broken and technically no rule was ever broken according to his own terms and conditions. I would also like to make it clear; this review has nothing to do with the money, it is about the principle. See the full review on the Wedding Wire website.

I’ve been to several weddings at this venue and it’s where I plan to have mine. Awesome location, facilities, staff- everything!
The venue is absolutely stunning. There is a super fun groomsmen suite right on the water and a bridal suite near the parking lot for easy getting ready in the morning. Our ceremony took place on the grass at the water and reception / cocktail hour was at the gazebo area right above. We had guests with mobility issues and they were able to get around just fine. The bathroom is a bit of a way from the reception area, but not too far. All ADA accessible. They also had a super cute bar area with many wine fridges, a cooler, and a keg. Keep in mind you can only have beer and wine, but honestly that was good because it helped things stay under control! My only slight issue was the staircase, as it seemed to eat up my veil! But other than that, it was so perfect. We love the venue and will definitely be back to visit in the future. Cindy was also just such a kind person to talk to and always helped answer my many, many questions. So thankful we could do our special day here! Photos attached are by Andrea Jane Photography.
My husband and I did our delayed wedding celebration at the Marina after it was postponed due to COVID-19 and it was above and beyond what we hoped and imagined. The marina is even more beautiful than the photos and you can tell what a special place it is the second you set foot in the pavilion. The marina holds a lot of sentimental value to us as it's near a family cabin we frequent and Cindy and Kelly went above and beyond accommodating for our event and showed us grace and flexibility as we had to reschedule (twice).
We had a wonderful experience! Kelly and Cindy the owners were amazing, helpful in so many ways. Everything went great in set up and we loved the bridal suite, so pretty. The ceremony was beautiful on the waters edge. The pavilion has great views and our family loved the whole atmosphere. Maybe a 10 year renewal someday?? lol
