We had our wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston, and it was truly the most incredible experience. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to make our vision come to life. We worked closely with Alice, who made the typically stressful wedding planning process feel easy, organized, and fun. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and calm, reassuring presence made all the difference. We had a large guest count, almost 300 people, and the Fairmont had no problem accommodating everyone with ease. The event flowed perfectly from start to finish, and every aspect of the evening was handled with care and precision. Sarah was also a huge help when it came to coordinating our room blocks. She made the process smooth and stress-free for us and our guests. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning! It’s historic, elegant, and full of charm. The food was out of this world, and we’re still getting compliments from guests weeks later. Several people told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended, and we couldn’t agree more. We’re so grateful to the entire Fairmont Copley team for helping us create a celebration that was beyond our dreams. If you’re considering this venue, don’t hesitate. Having our wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza was such a dream from start to finish! Our coordinator Ashley was so organized, responsive and cheerful throughout the planning process, which helped us feel very at ease. We did not hire an outside weeding planner and never felt like we needed to because she was so on top of everything and helped us keep on track with all of the important milestones and details. Ashley is amazing at her job! On the day of the wedding, all of the staff were wonderful and so friendly. Along with Ashley, Maiya and Kathleen were awesome and helped keep the whole day perfectly to plan. All of the wait staff and bartenders were also so kind and attentive. We really appreciated how the whole team was so positive and upbeat throughout the day, as it really helped us stay relaxed and present. We truly loved our wedding here and would recommend it 100%!

The Fairmont Copley was the perfect venue, and our wedding coordinator, Alice, hands down was the best person to have by my side throughout the process. She was always prompt and responsive throughout the entire planning process. She made us feel taken care of, and we were planning a wedding from 1000 miles away. She was honest, and knew all the little details that you did (or didn’t) need. My day wouldn’t have been perfect without Alice. The venue and food were incredible. Plenty of options, flexible with helping with children’s meals or allergies. Each server and bartender at the wedding were amazing. The bellhops (I believe John was one), helped us the day prior loading all of our stuff in (so thankful!). We ended up having some rain, but it was perfectly fine because inside the venue was so beautiful we were able to have fantastic photos inside. Sarah was fantastic at helping with the room block and making sure everything went smoothly. They helped to create a no-stress environment for a perfect wedding and I cannot thank them enough!

My wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza was nothing short of a fairytale. From start to finish, Ashley made the entire planning process seamless. She never once wavered in her patience — no matter how many questions I asked or how many times I revised a proposal. She is truly exceptional at what she does. Her deep industry knowledge, familiarity with the venue, and extraordinary attention to detail set her apart. But beyond that, it’s her calm, professional, and supportive demeanor that truly makes her a standout. On the day of the wedding, our guests were absolutely blown away. The awe began as soon as they stepped into the lobby and only grew stronger with each space they entered. The beauty of the setting was matched only by the impeccable service. The Fairmont staff were attentive, gracious, and worked with incredible efficiency to ensure food and drinks were served promptly and with care. As someone who works in the wedding industry myself, I was beyond impressed by the level of excellence and heart that went into every moment. The food was some of the absolute best we’ve had in our lives! During the tasting, the chef was so accommodating and willing to change or tweak anything we wished for. He is seriously talented! My husband and I couldn’t decide on which chicken to serve. We finally decided on one, and then Fairmont let us eat the other option ourselves on the big day! Getting married at the Fairmont Copley Plaza was an exceptional experience from start to finish! Alice and the entire team were incredibly caring, creative, and thoughtful. They helped us create the exact wedding we wanted without any stress or glitches, even ensuring we got to taste all of our delicious appetizers and dinners. The entire staff--from the bellhops to the housekeepers to the servers--was also friendly and helpful throughout our wedding weekend. Finally, Alice and her team handled an unforeseen family emergency just prior to our event with compassion and grace, and went above and beyond to care for me and my loved ones. Would do it all again in a heartbeat!

We are so happy that we held our wedding reception at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. The venue itself is stunning and in a great location, and the space and equipment provided (tables, chairs, linens, etc.) were beautiful. The food and beverage services are incredible - it was so hard to choose a menu because all of the options tasted so good. Many of our guests have told us that this was the best wedding food they had ever had. Most importantly, the event planning staff were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process to make sure that everything went smoothly. Wedding planning can be stressful, but we knew the entire time that the Fairmont would ensure that everything at the reception venue would go as planned. Ashley and Sarah were so helpful during the leadup to our wedding, and Maiya and Kathleen were wonderful Event Operations Managers on the big day. We strongly recommend booking the Fairmont!

We just had our wedding on Saturday at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, and I do not exaggerate when I say it was a dream wedding. The venue is exquisite, and guests were RAVING about every aspect of the wedding, from the ceremony to the venue to the food. The food was all absolutely delicious and gourmet despite almost 200 guests, with the steak cooked to a perfect medium rare. I can’t tell you how many guests told me, clearly very genuine, that it was the best and more elegant wedding they had ever attended. This was all thanks to the absolutely amazing team at the Fairmont. We worked with Alice Fay, who was absolutely amazing and made sure every detail looked perfect and went smoothly. When we first arrived, we were greeted with such a warm welcome by Alice and Sarah Sandoval, who had also been in communications with me about some details. At the reception, Maiya, the Event Operations Manager, made sure things continued to run smoothly, and at the end of the night Kathleen was there to make sure we didn’t need anything. I ordered my "signature drink" from an amazing bartender, Phil. All of the staff collaborated to make the event perfect, from the amazing servers who pitched in to help with our complicated table settings, to the sweetest bellman, Said, who helped us move things multiple times with a constant smile. My parents loved one of the doormen, Mike, who gave them lovely feedback about our wedding from the staff. I more than recommend this venue for a wedding. It has an old world glamor that can’t be replicated, and the most amazing team you could ever work with. I could not be happier with my beautiful, fairytale wedding.

Our coordinator Jessica Cooper was extraordinary, anticipating our every need and being incredibly involved every step of the way, from our first tour of the venue to our final wrap-up. She was incredibly responsive to our endless questions and requests, and helped us with a great attitude and was always ready to help us tackle any concern! Alongside her were a terrific team. The space itself was gorgeous and well kempt, the lighting was perfect, and the staff were attentive all night to ourselves and our guests. The front desk was very responsive and helpful as well. We highly recommend the Fiarmont Copley, and if you choose them, be sure to ask for Jessica!

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding ceremony and reception at the Fairmont Copley, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how attentive the entire hotel team was. We have always been captivated by the venue's breathtaking beauty and ornate details, but the service was also spectacular. Every corner of the space exudes elegance and charm, which created the perfect backdrop for indoor photos on our special day (specially as it rained outside). The service we received was truly exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our wedding was flawless. Their attention to detail and dedication to making our day perfect was evident in everything they did. We felt incredibly well taken care of, and the professionalism and warmth made the experience even more memorable. A special shoutout to Ashley who's the first person we interacted with when booking the venue, and who was there with us through the journey and on the day off, making sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the steak, salmon, raw bar and desserts. Each bite was a culinary delight, and the presentation was impeccable. The chef clearly put a lot of thought and care into finer details that wowed and sated everyone. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better venue and team for our wedding. The combination of the beautiful setting, incredible service, and delectable food made our day unforgettable in the best way!

Our wedding was beyond a dream. Ashley and her team went above and beyond for my husband and I for over two years executing everything better than I could have ever imagined. We had toured a few different locations and besides the fact that the Fairmont is the most beautiful location for a ballroom wedding, what sold us was Ashley Kirouac, our venue coordinator. She was meticulous with details, attentive, and patient when I was started losing control of everything. Vinit Sigh, and Emily Lopez were incredible handling the event itself and making sure that everything went flawlessly. The staff were beyond exceptional, and I cannot thank the Fairmont Copley enough for their warm hospitality and incredible service.

The venue speaks for itself in its beauty and elegant/romantic vibe, but the special touches the venue and vendors provided made it so magical. The service was top notch. The food was outstanding and when you cater a large event you don’t always expect food and service to exceed expectations, but every guest ranted about both! Alice was our event coordinator and she was truly the best. So easy to work with, lots of experience, and made our day so special by delivering all the things we asked for and more! They truly have weddings down to a t here. From the moment you are outside the venue and get greeted by staff and valet at front door, to the moment you leave - a true luxurious experience. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Fairmont Copley Plaza. From the moment we toured the venue, to the wedding day itself, everything was absolutely perfect. Ashley made my husband and I, as well as our families, feel incredibly special throughout the whole process. She is not only professional, but also friendly, welcoming, and extremely thorough. She made sure to go above and beyond to answer my questions and accommodate our requests, and I was extremely confident that everything would be perfect on the day, and it absolutely was. The venue itself was more than we ever could have imagined. The hotel is so beautiful on the inside and out, and it offers so many photo opportunities in the lobby, hallways and staircases. The room I got ready in provided more than enough space for me and my wedding party to get ready. Again, Ashley was more than accommodating the morning of, and made sure I had everything that I needed. Our cocktail hour was in the Venetian Room, which was amazing, and we still talk about the hors d'oeuvres to this day. Our reception was in the Oval room, and it could not have been more beautiful. We loved the 1920’s feel to the room, with the high ceilings and huge, historical windows. The room had more than enough space for all of our guests to dine and dance comfortably. The food, from the appetizers to dessert was delicious, and the staff was all prompt and professional while serving our meals. Overall, the entire experience, from wedding planning to the after party, exceeded my expectations. It truly was the most amazing day of our lives, and I cannot recommend getting married at the Fairmont Copley Plaza more! Thank you Ashley for everything!

My husband and I had our wedding at Fairmont Copley Plaza in September 2023, and as we expected, it was the perfect venue for our special day. We had our ceremony and reception in their Oval Room and our cocktail hour in the Venetian Room. We, and our guests, loved the timeless and elegant atmosphere of both rooms, and took advantage of the stunning lobby at Fairmont as well. The plated dinner selection at Fairmont is truly exceptional; you can tell they take much pride in the quality and presentation of their food. Additionally, they took great care in accommodating all of our guests' dietary restrictions and allergies. My husband and I worked with the event manager/wedding specialist Alice Fay throughout the year leading up to our wedding. We were so impressed by the years of experience she has in the wedding industry and the love and care she puts into the wedding details. We had a lovely meeting at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen to finalize details. It was so helpful bouncing ideas off of Alice, getting her professional opinions on everything from food choices and reception timelines, all the way to lighting and the type of escort cards to choose. We also worked with services manager, Jessica Cooper, who helped tremendously with our room blocks and wedding suite accommodation. Jessica was incredibly responsive and was able to give us tours of one bedroom suites and guest rooms at Fairmont so we could appropriately prepare for our wedding weekend. My husband and I are so happy we had our wedding at Fairmont Copley Plaza. The service, food, atmosphere, and professionalism exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend!

Jessica Cooper was another event coordinator which we were so fortunate to have part of this amazing team. She helped to make sure all of our questions were addressed, making last minute changes, informing us about our room availability and keeping us on track with everything. Alex Ferraro and Allie Ferrick were the Event Operations Managers at the wedding reception working along with Ashley. Their main goal was to oversee and make sure that our wedding reception ran smoothly from start to finish. They did a superb job and were so attentive to all of our guests. Executive Chefs George Lishchynsky and Zaid Khan were expert chefs overseeing culinary and they were terrific! The food was gourmet and so delicious. The presentation of the meals was so impressive and the quick service was fantastic. They also took care of dietary restrictions for some guests with amazing substitute dishes. This was the wedding of our daughter’s dreams! The amazing team at the Fairmont Copley Plaza made our daughter and her husband’s wedding a spectacular and memorable event! Our daughter recently had her wedding reception at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston. The day was a fairy tale wedding in every way imaginable! This is only possible when you have the best of the best by your side and top-notch resources available. That is when we met Alice Fay, Wedding Event Coordinator. It was love at first sight! She was so friendly, kind and genuinely happy for all of us. It seemed too easy....too perfect... Well, I have to say to anyone reading this if you are looking for a smooth sailing wedding process please look no further! Alice Fay was made for this! She is the REAL deal. Never have I met anyone who wants to please a client more. Alice has quite the schedule....She has more than one wedding at times every week but yet made us feel like our wedding was the only one happening. Her level of care and concern is truly remarkable. I couldn't believe that emails and phone calls were returned within an hour or less and it was like that for the entire ten month planning process. When we would meet in person, she made it fun and personal and truly made us feel like family. After explaining the vision we had for this wedding, she suggested a list of vendors and resources that were the best of the best in the business. They had one goal....to please in every way possible. I have learned over the years, that despite people being good at what they do, sometimes they do not have an approachable way about them. The wonderful people we worked with did not disappoint. They were always available to brainstorm and meet in the space to get everything perfect. They succeeded. During the wedding Alice was AMAZING! She was on top of everything (yet in the background) and was so kind to our family and made sure all was going well. She truly doesn't miss a beat! Even the night before and morning of the wedding she was checking in with us making sure we had everything we needed. All the personal touches and loving texts as the wedding approached were over the top! That is why I had to write this review. She deserves this and a lot more. My daughter not only got the wedding of her dreams....we got ALICE as well.... A friend for life

The Fairmont Copley is an absolutely magical wedding venue, and my husband and I are so happy we chose it. I never envisioned myself having a "hotel wedding," as I feel like typically hotel ballrooms don't have a ton of character, but the Copley completed changed my mind about that. From the second we walked in, I was so impressed with the beauty and character of the hotel. We chose to have our wedding in the Oval Room, which is a stunning room with gold framed windows and a beautiful blue ceiling painted with clouds. Our wedding coordinator, Ashley Kirouac, was so helpful throughout the whole process, always walking us through each step and answering our questions along the way. Our banquet coordinator, Allie Ferrick, made sure all of our food and beverage service stayed on track. Everything ran seamlessly, and we had the absolute best and most memorable wedding!

Our wedding in the grand ball room was nothing short of magical. Our guests have been raving non stop about how the “magical fairy tale” wedding that we hosted. The venue itself is stunning, but once you add the beautiful details it becomes a true dream.

The Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston, MA provided the picture perfect location & space for our daughter ‘s & her husband’s dream wedding. From the beautiful, cheerful, immaculate & open Lobby, with its fresh flowers and crystal chandeliers, to the elegant Venetian Room for cocktails and delicious appetizers, to then, the historic OvalRoom, which overlooks Copley Square: it was spectacular. Our daughter had many creative ideas for their special day & there was no one better to see these details fall into place more seamlessly than Alice Fay, the Copley’s Senior Event Sales Manager and Wedding Specialist. She was personable, professional, punctual & helpful. If we had to do it all over again my husband and I would not change one thing at all. We have received so many compliments from so many people about venue, food and just all around timing and presentation. We will never forget our daughter’s wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel.

The Fairmont Copley Plaza was truly a dream wedding venue! From our first encounter with Alice Fay, Head Event Coordinator, to the day of the wedding, everything was truly perfect. Alice was extremely responsive via email and phone, and the Fairmont was super flexible with all of our asks and needs. Alice made the daunting wedding process feel seamless and was always able to answer my questions with ease. The tasting experience was incredible and included choice of wine as well as 3x starters, and 2x options each of meat, fish, and vegetarian to try. They were also super helpful with tips and tricks on what to do with folks with allergies and could even create dishes for you if there was something that you really wanted that wasn't on the menu. Alice worked seamlessly with our other vendors such as the band and photo booth to ensure they had everything they needed on the night of so that things could run smoothly. She truly has seen it all and the amount of tips and tricks that were shared were priceless. From the day we got there before the wedding, I felt truly like royalty. All the staff was so nice and accommodating. The food came out quickly and was extremely delicious - not like normal wedding food that is usually only ok - we really felt like we were eating at a high end restaurant. The night of the wedding they also had a suite prepared for us with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries - truly no detail was missed! I could not recommend this venue more if you are thinking about it for your wedding or next event. It was literally a dream come true!

We had a hotel block and three events (rehearsal dinner, cocktail party and brunch) at the Fairmont in September. We worked with Lauren, who was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process. She provided all the information we asked for, answered all questions and her expertise really made for memorable events and a great weekend. Guests raved about the food and accommodations. The location is great for out-of-town guests, close to the airport and lots to do within walking distance. Highly recommended.

First off I high-key hate the knot but as my event coordinator Ashley Kirouac and the Fairmony Copley was so absolutely WONDRFUL I will leave as many glowing reviews in as many places that I can. Initially I thought that finding a venue would be simple. "Oh I like this place!" and be done. Well unfortunately I work in hospitality and know how events do and *should* be run. The sheer amount of event coordinators out in the city of Boston that do not give a f*ck about you, your wedding, or (seemingly) their jobs literally blew my mind. Anyway, the point of that rant is to say that immediately upon walking into the Fairmont and meeting Ashley I knew that she KNEW her stuff and I had made a rare find. She was timely, professional, has a background in hospitality and service from the ground up (which is so underrated but so very important because it means the difference between knowing how things really run for large events down to the most minute detail), and explained things I meant to ask before I could even get to them. I hired her on the spot. Do you know how rare it is in hospitality for someone to truly know what they're doing? Well Ashley does and weddings are her jam. She did everything in her power to make my requests a reality and a beautiful one at that- right down to taking time out of her schedule for personal meetings to help show me my own vision because she understood my need for visual support. Not only that, but the hotel itself was beautiful, the food was wonderful, the service was timely and professional, and the bartenders kept up with my lively crew. 10/10 recommend!

Incredible venue with an incredible team! Ashley Kirouac was our event coordinator and she was always so helpful and responsive to our questions. She is truly dedicated to her work and making your day as incredible as it can be! Her thoughtfulness and attention to small details really stood out. Chef George made a customized app for us and made sure the presentation was exquisite. When we started wedding planning last year, we initially felt we were way out of our league. We found the Fairmont on The Knot app and were instantly intrigued. Upon touring the venue, we knew this was the place for us! Ashley Kirouac was super helpful in keeping us organized from the start. She broke down every detail imaginable and made the planning process convenient & easy for us to handle. From the initial tour all the way through our Sunday brunch, she kept everything organized behind the scenes as the mastermind of the operation. The Fairmont itself is a stunning location located in the heart of Boston. We are so happy with the decision to have our reception & next day brunch there, because the Fairmont took care of every step of the process for us. For such a beautiful spot, I had to keep asking myself & friends if anything was missed in our contract because it was so affordable for such comprehensive service compared to similar venues in the Boston area. They took care of everything - food, cake coordination, table & chair rentals, linens, flatware, dance floor (the list could go on!). They even provided vendor recommendations, which streamlined our planning process with them as well! Allie Ferrick acted as the banquet manager and kept the reception moving smoothly. We fully appreciated her efforts of keeping all meals organized to account for dietary needs & limitations. We can’t thank the Fairmont enough for their service in making our dream day a reality!

Where do I even begin? What an incredible experience we had at the Fairmont Copley Plaza! Our wedding was absolutely spectacular! The venue, the food, the service, everything was sheer perfection. The day, and everything leading up to the day, went off without a hitch. I felt supported, cared for and important throughout the entire process. First and foremost shout out to Ashley Kirouac! The absolute superstar who seems to take on an immense volume of complex tasks with a calm and poise about her that is unmatched. When we went for our site tour, she sold us immediately as she talked us through everything and walked us through the event spaces. We knew instantly that she is the person you want to be in charge of your wedding. The banquet managers Sal Aguilar and Allie Ferrick also did a phenomenal job! The dining experience was absolutely top notch and we received so many comments on how good the food was and how amazing everything looked and felt throughout the event. I can't thank them enough, and the entire team at the Fairmont. What an incredible, magical, unforgettable place to host your special day. We are forever grateful and proud that they are a part of our story!

We had a 4-day Indian wedding in Boston, which culminated at the Fairmont Copley Plaza for our wedding ceremony and reception. Simply put, our experience at the Fairmont was elegant, beautiful, and breathtaking - we loved every second of it, from planning to the the actual event, almost entirely because Alice Fay (Fairmont's Event Manager-Wedding Specialist) is just truly *exceptional* There are a few reasons we loved working with the Fairmont (and Alice!). First, the venue is incredibly elegant and stunning, from the hallways, to the main hall of the hotel, to the Grand Ballroom. We held our Baraat, when the Indian groom rides to the front of a venue on a horse, surrounded by friends and music, outside the hotel in the heart of Copley Square - it felt like a Bollywood scene with lots of energy and dancing. Our wedding ceremony (and later in the night, reception) was in the Grand Ballroom, and the cocktail hour in between in the Oval and Venetian rooms. Every single moment of the night felt magical. Second, the Fairmont chefs are amazing, but our family also strongly preferred having Indian cuisine as part of the reception. Fortunately, the Fairmont allows 2 exclusive caterers to work at their venue (Masala Art for Indian cuisine and another vendor for Kosher)... which is a stark contrast to most venues in Boston, which only offer a single (their own) catering service. Guests are STILL raving about how delicious our Indian dinner was - and the impeccable white glove serving of dinner by the Fairmont staff (we wanted several main dishes to be served to each guest, rather than a plated meal or buffet). The service was elegant, classy, and efficient. In addition, the hors d'oeuvres, dessert stations, and after party food items were made by the Fairmont's chefs, and just amazingly delicious and beautiful. Third, our wedding was large and elements of it, quite complicated (!), but everything went so seamlessly because of Alice! Alice is incredibly responsive, detail-oriented and meticulous - we knew we were in great hands from the moment we started planning our event with her. Alice is also extremely thoughtful - we felt extremely well cared for throughout the planning process and on the night of our wedding. In short, our night was exceptional and magical, in large part because of how invested Alice was in make sure everything went perfectly. We are eternally grateful to the Fairmont, Alice Fay, and all the staff for a truly grand, elegant, and beautiful experience that we will never forget!

We had a perfect wedding. The banquet manager Emily Lopez and our poc for the entire planning of the event at the fairmont copley was Ashley Kirouac. Two professionals whose expertise made the event go flawlessly. We were all over the place with planning and Ashley was always patient, honest, and gave us great advice! The fairmont copley is the best wedding venue in Boston period. We had 245 guests and they are still raving about the event! As the father of the bride all that you want is for your daughter to be happy and she told me it was the happiest day of her life. The setting, the staff, the food, the band, the lighting, we’re exceptional. It was a year long planning for the event and Ashley and Emily made it a perfect event. Their expertise, agility, calm demeanor made every dollar spent worth it. In the end I was hoping for magic..,,,we got more than that! Than you.

We had our wedding reception at the Fairmont Copley Plaza about a month ago and it was EVERYTHING I could have dreamed of. It’s a spectacular venue that truly wows both you and your guests. I can’t say enough good things about Ashley Kirouac – she was so helpful through the whole planning process (literally 1.5years + of answering my many, many questions!) and everything came together amazingly. They really go above and beyond. Emily, the banquet manager, did a phenomenal job. Everything was timed wonderfully! I’ve had several guests tell us afterwards that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to, and the service was impeccable. The Grand Ballroom is so stunning – having a private reveal of it for my now husband & I before the guests entered was such a special moment. I’m so sad it’s over! I highly recommend the Fairmont to any couples looking for a timeless, elegant, beautiful venue with stellar service.
