Where to even begin - our wedding day was a complete dream and so much credit goes to Andrew Hoge and his team at the Fairmont Olympic. From introduction to execution, no detail was overlooked. Andrew thought of everything, was quick to respond, and made our day seamless and beautiful. The Garden Room was the perfect venue for the reception we had envisioned and it truly came alive with the help of so many. The food was exceptional and everyone commented on how delicious everything was. The staff was friendly and everyone felt so well taken care of. I wish we could do it all over again, but trust me you don't need to look anywhere else - the Fairmont will give you everything you want and more. Thank you Andrew and Team, we are so grateful for everything you did to make our day so special. Xo, The Smiths
Great customer service, really "fancy" feeling place, and they really do make everything easy. Andrew Hoge managed our wedding, and he is so friendly and professional.
If you're having a big wedding in Seattle proper, this is one of very few places that is really prepared to help you out.
When you look at the prices, keep in mind that it is all-inclusive--no separate fees for furniture rental, tents, dishes, etc. They do so many of this type of event that they have it down to a science. No need to micromanage them, either.
Best place for your wedding night! Pure Bliss!
The venue and staff were fantastic to work with from start to finish. There wasn't a detail too small or large that they couldn't take care of and made my husband and me feel so special through our entire event.

Brenna McCown (the most lovely of all wedding vendor contacts)
My husband and I chose to have our entire wedding experience at The Fairmont Olympic Hotel. I gathered over 70 quotes from properties in Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Mexico, Las Vegas, LA and New York. We separately toured over 20 of these properties and decided on the Fairmont Olympic as the clear winner based on package price, customer service, venue feel / style, location, reputation and elegance.
I started planning the wedding from Las Vegas 1.25 years in advance and I was in contact on a weekly and daily bases with Brenna (my venue manager) from the time we signed the contract up until the wedding day. Brenna delivered the most outstanding customer service I've ever experienced in my life - and I've done a lot of exciting high end things. Even when I was fussing over details and confused about pricing and a less-nice bride, Brenna was kind and helpful in every way. There were only tiny hiccups along the way and the wedding day was the most perfect experience I've ever had. I would do it all again in the exact same way if I could. I had about a million details surrounding how I was styling the wedding. I brought in my own charger, linens, chair covers, elaborate decore, a cake cutting sword, a special dance, outfit changes and more. Brenna handled all of my millions of questions with professionalism and ease, as well as executed every detail with perfection. My wedding guests are sending me thank you cards / emails telling me how honored they are to have been invited to such a elegant / luxury event.
The Fairmont delivered amazing food and accommodated a second tasting for me (which I paid for) so I could further define the perfect menu. Brenna did everything in her power to save us money when the opportunity arose - which was much appreciated and very unexpected. All the staff, from the accounting department to the executive chef were very easy to get ahold of and always proactive in accommodating my needs / requests. The cake was the perfect replication of the cake image I provided / wanted - which tasted and looked amazing. The suite we were given for our total stay was literally out of this world. It was the ideal place for 7 bridesmaids, video, photo crew, moms and others to dwell comfortably on the most epic day of my life.
I would recommend the Fairmont Olympic to anyone looking for an amazing venue / wedding experience.
Meg got in touch with me immediately after I submitted an online request for information on a small ceremony and reception, and tried her best to work with me on dates and set-up, but due to unfortunate timing restrictions for another venue I did not pursue. I will say my fiancé rallied for this venue and was disappointed it didn't work out, through no fault of Fairmont's.
The venue was not only big but also architecturally beautiful. We were able to accommodate 250 people for a sit down dinner and a huge dance floor. And the place didn't need any decoration at all because every wall and ceiling has beautiful detail work. With in the Hotel, we had the ceremony at one site and the reception at the ballroom. The whole event was very downtown elegant and sophisticated and also a lot of fun since we had a live band.;Make sure the small details that are important to you, are written down and communicated to the planner/manager. These are the things that can be overlooked if not over-communicated.
Our Luncheon reception was held in the garden room of the Fairmont. The beauty of the room spoke for itself and no additional decorations were needed other than flowers for the tables. It was a worry free venue. Everything was perfect. Working with the staff at the Fairmont was a pleasure, they were very professional and easy to work with.
