Hiring Fairy Godmother Events and Kadzo was the very first decision we made on our wedding planning journey and was by far the BEST decision we could have made for our wedding day and our marriage. For context, we had a multicultural and interfaith indoor/outdoor wedding in September 2025 with about 145 guests. During the planning stages, Kadzo was always patient and clear about our options, timelines, and the factors to consider with each vendor and decor decision. She kept us organized with a planning portal that included a shared checklist, reminders, a budgeting page, and other helpful tools. She helped us stay on budget (though my husband made that incredibly difficult!) and found creative ways to get the most out of what we were spending. We also wanted to prioritize small businesses where we could, and she always kept that in mind when making recommendations. Thanks to her guidance, we ended up with the most phenomenal vendor team. I was especially impressed by her ability to find hair and makeup artists who met my needs as a natural-hair (4C) bride who rarely wears makeup. When it came to day-of coordination, Kadzo was once again amazing. Just before our ceremony, it began to rain unexpectedly. She prioritized our wishes and gave us the space to decide whether to take the risk or switch to the rain plan. When the rain continued, everything transitioned smoothly to our indoor backup plan (despite having only 20 minutes before the ceremony was set to begin). Multiple guests even commented on how well-run the day was and how incredible Kadzo had been. I didn’t have to worry about a thing, and everything felt effortless. Beyond her professionalism and planning expertise, Kadzo was simply a joy to have at the event. She beamed with happiness as we walked down the aisle and smiled at us from across the room. In those little moments, it truly felt like having another family member there. I would recommend Kadzo and her team to anyone planning a wedding or hosting an event. She is absolutely phenomenal!

We had a few planning calls beforehand, she shared a software where we built out the seating plans, timelines, etc, and she was present for the ceremony rehearsal the day before. On the day of our wedding, Kadzo and Niassa did an incredible job. I had my dream day, everything went so smoothly, and they both have a calm and grounding presence that made me feel so taken care of and at ease throughout the day. We are a queer, trans, and interracial couple with mixed families, and they were respectful of those dynamics from start to finish. Highly recommend Fairy Godmother Events!!! 

th work full-time we were nervous about how we were going to manage planning an Indian wedding on top of everything, but Kadzo was truly our fairy godmother. She was able to help us create our Indian wedding events seamlessly and we felt that she understood our every need, sometimes even before we knew what they were! Kadzo was with us every step of the way reminding us of what we were responsible for, what our timeline was, and connecting with us as a couple and as a family with our parents. We had monthly planning calls, a great platform (Aisle planner) where we could track everything, and amazing communication each step of the way. We never felt overwhelmed or out of the loop with Kadzo and her team. She is truly an amazing wedding planner that made us and our parents feel at ease during the planning process and during our wedding events. I cannot recommend her highly enough, if you are looking for someone who is experienced, transparent (no hidden agendas or forced partnerships with vendors for the money! She does not get kick-backs from any of the vendors she uses), meticulous, down-to-earth, realistic, budget-conscious, and just an amazing planner then you will have everything you need and more in Kadzo and her team.

other Events. Kadzo and her team are experienced, reliable, and fun to work with. Kadzo was not only patient in sorting out details with me as we neared the wedding, but also very responsive from the day we booked our contract with her -- almost a year ahead of our wedding! Even though we only had the day-of package, Kadzo went above and beyond in supporting the success of our relatively modest wedding: she shared helpful recommendations for vendors she's worked with in the past within our budget, helped me upload content onto well-organized wedding planning software, and adapted well to all of the planned/unplanned changes throughout the weeks leading up to our event. Did I mention that she and her team are funny, too?! The Fairy Godmother Events team made our rehearsal and all of the in-between moments a blast. Our wedding weekend was the most fun weekend of my life. Fairy Godmother Events was instrumental in making it so. Thanks for working your miracles on us, FGE team!

rue throughout the entire planning experience is how cool, calm, collected, and solutions-oriented she is. She was just so open-minded and adaptable and always made us feel at ease. I think some planners, intentional or not, imply that couples are making “right” or “wrong” decisions. Kadzo wasn’t like this - she was very direct and honest about trade-offs, benefits and costs, best practices, and problems to really avoid. But in general, she did not try to push us too much toward a strict vision which we really appreciated. We felt like she was our partner in crafting and executing our totally unique day. She provided high-quality vendor recommendations, and in cases where we decided we wanted a different vendor, she helped us think through our decisions and managed communications with the vendors. She was patient while we iterated and helped us tell the difference between factors that were really important and those that didn’t matter as much. We also appreciated the Aisle Planner planning software she provided, which had to-do checklist and a budget tool. Throughout the process, Kadzo was reachable via email, text, Zoom, or call. We tried to be efficient, but if we ran a few minutes over, she was always very accommodating. When it came down to the month of we met more frequently. On the wedding day, we did not have to worry about managing anything! She kept us running on time and our family was raving about how well organized the wedding was. Kadzo’s associate was also excellent, friendly and capable. Again, I come back to the calm demeanor - It really does go a long way on the day of and keeping your vibe present and grounded as the bride and groom! We had the most beautiful wedding day full of love, family, community, and celebration. We are so grateful for Kadzo and will treasure our special day forever!

I would have done without Kadzo and her team. She responded very quickly to all of my emails and I felt I could put my full trust into her on my wedding day. Before I had even signed a contract with her she offered to make email introductions with vendors within my price range when I told her I was still in need of a florist. I ended up using one of her recommended vendors and I was super happy with how my wedding flowers came out. Her demeanor is very calm and exactly what a bride needs on her wedding day. I can’t recommend Kadzo enough. I hope I have the pleasure of working with her again in the future!

ut. But as soon as we spoke with Kadzo over the phone, we knew we were dealing with a professional who is VERY good at her job. Kadzo said from the outset that her job would be to execute the vision we had carefully planned and to allow us and our loved ones to enjoy the day. And that is exactly what she and her team delivered. We had two ceremonies and two receptions, basically two weddings, planned in one day, and when we asked Kadzo admitted that this was one of the longest timelines she had worked on. Kadzo has a calm, thoughtful, and reassuring demeanor and has an established workflow with a coordinator dedicated to the wedding party and one dedicated to vendors on the day. She kindly partook in our venue walkthrough with our caterer and moms when we could not travel back for the meeting. She met with us several times over the phone and asked questions about aspects of the wedding we hadn't considered, and helped us tweak our timeline into a smoother and more logical flow. Seeing our complex decor timeline with multiple details handled by family and friends, Kadzo offered the option of adding a third coordinator dedicated solely to decor. We took her up on the offer and never looked back. Kadzo stepped in and helped us reach our caterer when we were having trouble with communications. And when it came time for our rehearsal, she helped run the show and keep us organized. On our wedding day, Kadzo and her team allowed us as the couple and our moms to relax and enjoy the day, without having to stress over little details. My mom, who otherwise would have had to shoulder the bulk of that burden, has said multiple times that having Kadzo and her co-coordinators there was the best decision we made and that she felt so at ease on the day with the wedding in their capable hands. Kadzo and her team were in constant communication with each other and with our photographer, caterer, and DJ so that timing went according to (and at parts even ahead of) schedule. Our DJ even commented on how easy Kadzo made his job that day. For my part, my husband and I so thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day, we still have no idea of what difficulties or hiccups Kadzo and her team had to deal with to make things run so smoothly. So for any couples out there wondering whether or not to take the plunge with day-of coordination, hiring Kadzo and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. If you want to be worry-free and able to fully enjoy your wedding day, we would absolutely recommend that you work with Fairy Godmother Events!

, I would not be surprised if Kadzo was secretly one of them. No matter the how great the ask, she took care of it, sometimes before I could even ask it! I have never met someone so professional and polite that still could get things done from anyone she spoke to! I think I cried more reflecting on how perfect she made the wedding than I did during my own vows. Without her my DIY wedding would have ended up on one of those wedding disaster/fail shows on TLC no doubt. We only got the day of coordination package and are absolutely kicking ourselves we didn't invest in the full coordination. DO NOT BE LIKE US. Put your wedding in her hands from jump and watch her work her magic. You will not be disappointed! -The Parks
