Initially we were not sure that we needed a day-of coordinator, as we had planned the entire wedding ourselves remotely with the help of our moms and knew most details inside and out. But as soon as we spoke with Kadzo over the phone, we knew we were dealing with a professional who is VERY good at her job. Kadzo said from the outset that her job would be to execute the vision we had carefully planned and to allow us and our loved ones to enjoy the day. And that is exactly what she and her team delivered.
We had two ceremonies and two receptions, basically two weddings, planned in one day, and when we asked Kadzo admitted that this was one of the longest timelines she had worked on. Kadzo has a calm, thoughtful, and reassuring demeanor and has an established workflow with a coordinator dedicated to the wedding party and one dedicated to vendors on the day. She kindly partook in our venue walkthrough with our caterer and moms when we could not travel back for the meeting. She met with us several times over the phone and asked questions about aspects of the wedding we hadn't considered, and helped us tweak our timeline into a smoother and more logical flow. Seeing our complex decor timeline with multiple details handled by family and friends, Kadzo offered the option of adding a third coordinator dedicated solely to decor. We took her up on the offer and never looked back. Kadzo stepped in and helped us reach our caterer when we were having trouble with communications. And when it came time for our rehearsal, she helped run the show and keep us organized.
On our wedding day, Kadzo and her team allowed us as the couple and our moms to relax and enjoy the day, without having to stress over little details. My mom, who otherwise would have had to shoulder the bulk of that burden, has said multiple times that having Kadzo and her co-coordinators there was the best decision we made and that she felt so at ease on the day with the wedding in their capable hands. Kadzo and her team were in constant communication with each other and with our photographer, caterer, and DJ so that timing went according to (and at parts even ahead of) schedule. Our DJ even commented on how easy Kadzo made his job that day. For my part, my husband and I so thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day, we still have no idea of what difficulties or hiccups Kadzo and her team had to deal with to make things run so smoothly.
