We have seen it all and love every second of what we do. We travel all over north western Oregon and south western Washington.

We had such an incredible experience with Kelsey with Fairytales Event Design!! We live across the country in Georgia, so working with her to make our Cannon Beach wedding was nothing short of effortless. She worked so well with us and our schedules, especially with time change across the country, to book all meetings and answer any questions we had! Having her as the planner and day of director of events made our wedding day so easy. We were able to truly let go and enjoy our big day for ourselves. We couldn’t thank Kelsey enough for everything she did for us!!
Kelsey and the Fairytales team were INCREDIBLE in ensuring our wedding day went smoothly and according to plan. Like many other brides/couples who do the majority of the wedding planning themselves, I didn't really know what I was looking for or where to start in finding a day-of coordinator (or if I even needed one), but Kelsey was worth her weight in gold. She was the point of contact for the vendors, helped with guest flow, setting things up, making sure things happened at the right times, etc. She was like the stage manager of our wedding, and we honestly could not have done it without her and the team. For those couples who are hiring their own individual vendors and especially who are having a backyard wedding, I HIGHLY recommend Fairytales. I did not have to worry about anything on the day of my wedding because of them.
Kristina transformed our day into an unforgettable experience. She kept our day stress free, allowing us to enjoy every moment of our celebration. I highly recommend Fairytales to anyone looking to make their wedding stress free and perfect!
Kelsey was INCREDIBLE. We knew nothing about planning our wedding and what all went into it beyond our venue. Kelsey walked us through everything and gave us the perfect amount of direction. She helped us shape our dream wedding that I didn't even have a vision for before I met her. She was ALWAYS communicative and did a great job at checking in on us to keep us moving. Her day of coordinating was incredible and our guests had nothing but good things to say about her and her day-of skills. There were a couple of mishaps the day-of that I (as the bride) had NO clue about until the next day because she took care of them. She also continued great communication afterwards while we continued to figure out some remaining issues with vendors. I cannot recommend Kelsey enough.
I absolutely loved using Fairytale event design. My coordinator I was set up with Andrew was an absolutely gem and made my day SEAMLESS. He took every stress away and went above and beyond to make me and my husband feel special. I would highly recommend their day of coordinator services to ease your mind on your special day!!
I cannot imagine our wedding day without Kristina! Leading up to our wedding day, I had access to a planning portal that made everything very easy and on top of that their email communication was efficient. Their decoration rental selection was also perfect and made the little details a breeze. Our first meeting at the venue to discuss our plans made me feel very confident in Kristina. She was so organized and asked us questions about details we had not even considered yet!
On the wedding day, I just showed up all ready to go to the venue for the first look pictures and did not have to organize anything. She coordinated all of the vendors and setup with other family/friends so when I arrived there was nothing left to do! Throughout the evening she would pick up trash, make sure things were running on time with the DJ and everything went very smoothly. For the cleanup hour, she was imperative and we had everything out by 11.
I would highly recommend Fairytales Event Design for day-of coordination. They are a great price and worth every penny!
The Fairytales team was an amazing choice for my husband and I's wedding day! They responded quickly to communication about the wedding and offered a lot of assistance throughout the process. They set up everything the day of the wedding exactly as I had wanted and made sure everything was seamless. I can't recommend them enough for wedding coordination services!
We had such a positive experience working with Kelsey Knutson at Fairytales Event Design! She was so kind and helpful through the entire wedding planning process, and we couldn't have done it without her! She had great recommendations, was very organized, and made sure our wedding day was just what we hoped it would be! She also stepped in to help when our hair and makeup vendor was being unreasonable. We can't recommend Kelsey enough!!
Rania, our day of coordinator from Fairytales, was amazing. Rania reviewed all of our contracts and she caught a few things before our event that we didn’t notice with some of our vendors - which prevented a potential big headache later. She sent us a couple of forms to fill out and created our day of agenda - and then coordinated that with our other vendors. Our event had 120 or so people. Rania helped organize our lively wedding party on the day of the rehearsal, and again the day of the wedding. She was super positive and helpful - especially given the 95 degree heat we had come the day of the wedding. She had a bag with all the essentials - which came in handy when I managed to cover the bottom of my dress in wet dirt. Ultimately - she helped the wedding run incredibly smooth - and even made sure to pack us a to-go-bag of food and water for our ride to our hotel so that we had something to eat that night. I highly recommend the Fairytales team.
Kelsey was absolutely incredible. From my very first conversation with her I knew she was going to knock our day out of the park. We opted for her full planning services and I did not have a single bit of stress from the time we started working together through the day of our wedding. Every vendor and style she recommend was perfectly aligned to the vision we had. I was able to relax and fully participate in / enjoy my wedding day; looking back at the pictures just reminds me how that could not have happened without her! I cannot recommend Kelsey and her team highly enough.
Kelsey and team were super accommodating to our needs and went above and beyond with how my decorations were displayed. Everything went super smoothly on our timeline and I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day!!!
O.M.G! Kelsey is just who we needed for our wedding day. She did a fabulous job with decorating, the timeline, and listening to what our vision for the day was. And she freaking killed it. I will be recommending Kelsey to everyone I know for their upcoming weddings. Kelsey also wasn’t afraid to keep the bridal party on cue and in check. That is exactly what we needed for rowdy groomsman!! Thank you Kelsey for making it a great day! We love you!
Kelsey and Kristina are awesome. Kristina was our day of coordinator and she killed it. During rehearsal, the day before, we realized we didn't have a mic stand for the musician during the ceremony. The site didn't have one and there were no stores nearby that had one. Kristina's husband picked one up for us on his way to meet Kristina for the night. We would have had to find someone to drive down the mountain to pick one up if it had not been for her. Very organized, professional, fun, and kind. Definitley recommend.
We worked with Kelsey for 2+ years on our postponed wedding and now we are pretty sad that we won't be meeting with her any more! She was so great in helping us sort through COVID protocols, find vendors, stay organized and stay sane! Day of, she was fantastic. We did not have a single worry and spent all our time enjoying our wedding and having fun. She was so organized and worked so well with our whole vendor team. We cant say enough about how great she and the team were!
Kelsey and Rania were amazing from start to finish. We chose the day of coordination package and could not have been happier. Do yourself a favor and hire Fairytales Events for your event coordinator. Thanks to our amazing day-of coordinator Rania, we were able to actually ENJOY our wedding as guests. We did not have to worry about a thing as we were so confident in Rania's attention to detail, follow through, communication and time management. Can not say enough positive things about our experience with Fairytales and using them as a vendor was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning.
From the start of meeting Kelsey I knew I had made the right choice for the type of wedding and day I wanted to have. I had already done a lot of planning myself, but had no idea what to do for day of! Kelsey and her assistant was such a good day of coordinator and I had full confidence relinquishing the control to them the day of! They made my wedding vision become reality and better than I could have ever imagined. Kelsey was organized, calm, and so professional in everything that she did. And everything for the night went beyond perfect and I never had any doubt or worries about anything! With her in control, I was truly able to let myself fully enjoy my wedding and party after. Thank you guys so much for everything!

Yes, yes, yes!!!! Kelsey and Kristina were absolutely amazing! About 6 weeks out from the wedding we decided to try and find a day of coordinator. My mom ended up finding Kelsey, and right from the first call I knew that we were in good hands. We already had our vendors lined out, and Kelsey and Kristina helped us iron out the remaining details. About 2 weeks before the wedding, I had a final call with our DJ, and he said he already had the logistical/timeline answers he needed from Kelsey. Which was awesome because then we were able to focus on the fun details!
Day of, Kristina was our coordinator. She was beyond amazing. Super personable, easy to work with, always had a smile on her face. Rehearsal went so smooth. And day of, I didn’t even step in the venue until I was walking down the aisle. And It was better than I had envisioned. She absolutely nailed it with the decorations. And she was on top of it all. I know she’s the reason that at the end of the night, clean up only took us 25 minutes!!! Everything was always in a good spot and organized. And she made sure I had my glass of red wine all night long ;)
My husband and I can’t thank Kristina and Kelsey enough. We kept getting comments on how calm we were. And we were! We weren’t stressed, or worried about anything that day.

I am SO glad my mom found Fairytales by Kelsey. When you first start planning a wedding, you book many different vendors hoping that when the day comes everything will "come together". As soon as we met Kelsey and then Rania, I felt comfortable knowing somebody was going to be there who understood my vision and could make it all happen. Kelsey was responsive and super helpful leading up to the wedding by answering questions and providing ideas. And Rania was my superhero the day of the wedding! She was ready with water, snacks, and an ibuprofen for my new hubby when he had a headache. Not to mention her endless safety pins when my bustle came apart! The reception timeline came together perfectly and the centerpieces/decor she staged were exactly what I wanted. Our wedding really was a fairytale! If you are contemplating a day-of coordinator, YES you need one, I definitely recommend Kelsey and her team.
Kelsey was absolutely amazing! We loved her and would highly recommend her to anyone. She was incredibly organized and was not afraid to take charge when it was necessary. She was vital to the success of our wedding day. Kelsey arrived early to set up tables and centerpieces, and realized we had didn’t have table cloths. She quickly found a rental company and was able to do so without creating stress for myself or my husband. An hour before the wedding was to start, I realized I had a couple makeup stains on my wedding dress. Within a minute Kelsey came back from her car with a cleaning product, and she had the stains removed right away! Those are just a couple examples of how organized Kelsey is, and how quick she is to jump into action when needed. We’d hire her again in a heartbeat. She’s the best!
Fairytales by Kelsey provided us with stellar, professional support throughout the planning phase of our wedding, and most importantly, on the big day. We opted for the Day-Of-Event Package, which included an initial telephone consultation, ongoing check-ins via email to keep the planning on track, a meeting at the venue location with both Kelsey and her assistant, Rania, one month before the event, and then a planner on-site at the venue the day of the event. This package was a great option for us, as we were comfortable making the arrangements for catering, music, decorations, photographer ourselves – we just didn’t want to have to run the show once the day arrived (or ask friends and family to work at our party). We provided the planner with contact information for our vendors and ceremony participants, then Kelsey put together a Wedding Day Timeline, as well as a Seating Plan, based on the hall dimensions at the venue. We truly felt we were in very capable hands with Fairytales by Kelsey, which allowed us to relax and just let it all unfold.
On the day of our wedding, which happened to be a rainy Northwest spring day, our planner did an amazing job coordinating our guests to line up outside for our grand arrival during a brief break in the weather and encouraged guests to wave Norwegian and Swedish flags as we pulled up in a 1923 convertible Model-T. It made for a memorable moment, allowing our fun, theatrical side to be indulged. The seating plan went through a couple of revisions in the days leading up to the event, due to an expanding guest count and limited floor space. Fairytales by Kelsey kept up with our requests and adapted the seating arrangements beautifully, settling on a final configuration which was superior to anything we could have imagined. The tables were configured and decorated to perfection. The ceiling twinkle lights looked fantastic - we so appreciated the efforts that went into this challenging aspect of the decorations. We loved how the room looked and were thankful how faithfully Fairytales by Kelsey executed our vision. We received so much positive feedback from friends and family. Many people told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended, with a big emphasis on FUN. Much credit for this goes to a great planning team!
On the back end of the event, Fairytales by Kelsey made sure our venue was ship-shape after everything concluded. The hall was clean from top to bottom, leaving no issues for us to take care of the following day. It meant so much to us to have such thorough, reliable help from our planner.
We appreciated all the small details Fairytales by Kelsey attended to that we don't even know about. We enjoyed every minute of our wedding, and so did everyone we spoke with afterwards. We recommend Fairytales by Kelsey without hesitation. Thank you again for doing a wonderful job for us.
Our wedding went incredibly smoothly, and Kelsey, our day of planner, had a large part in that. She was very easy and fun to work with, and helped a lot both with the planning and the logistics for the wedding and rehearsal dinner.

My husband and I are both type-A, extremely organized people with high standards, and we knew we found the right person with Kelsey. Do not let the reasonable pricing fool you, she's worth her weight in gold. Her professionalism, consistency in emails and updates, and experience made our big day unforgettable, and we owe a large part of it to her. We specifically enjoyed not having to worry about breaking down at the end of the night, as she's there from start to finish. We would recommend her 100% to any couple who's looking for a day-of coordinator.
I cannot recommend Fairytales by Kelsey enough! She did an incredible job helping us plan our wedding, and then coordinating day of. She was kind and patient and dealt with my husband and I being indecisive during the planning process.
She helped me refine my vision of a chic, starry galaxy sci-fi wedding and managed to bring it into reality. She ran with it and took my mish-mash descriptions and random ideas and created a wedding that went far beyond my wildest dreams! Kelsey took charge when we couldn't make decisions, suggested ideas that I didn't think of, and managed to bring us back to reality on some ideas.
If you don't hire her for any planning, she was well worth it for day of coordination. The last week of planning, I think I handled one email from a vendor and then bringing everything to the venue for ease of access for her day of. At the rehearsal, she wasn't afraid to use a loud voice indoors, which was very handy with my loud family! She got people in shape and readied everyone for the next day. Day of, I woke up and went off to hair and makeup and took photos with family. There was no stress of setting up, I just gave her boxes and she took liberty with it all. She had little details, like a table runner and candles on top of a mantle, that I'd never have thought of. Minutes before our ceremony, our Man of Honor's coat button popped off, but there she was with a sewing kit and fixing it. Any questions went straight to her. Not to mention that we literally forgot our glow sticks for our send off and they literally ran minutes before our send off to our hotel to grab them! They saved our send off! :p
She was worth her weight in gold. I just got to enjoy my day. She and her assistant got rave reviews from everyone. They were incredibly professional. Any future events I host will definitely be planned by her! She made my day go off without a hitch and I cannot thank her enough!
