We had a lovely arch with large beautiful arrangements tied to the side, and it was the perfect focal point for our beach wedding. The bridesmaids bouquets were perfect, and my cascade bouquet was so beautiful - I felt like a princess carrying it around. The centerpieces were lovely and our flower girl's flower crown was so precious. When we "rated" our vendors (between ourselves) we gave Meredith and Fancy Flowers an 11 out of 10 so that gives you an idea of how pleased we were :)

based on the great reviews, but our personal experience was quite different. Yes, she was very quick to get back to us by email and that's why we are giving 2 stars, but our flowers were not what we expected. To start, all of the bouquets contained flowers that had already turned brown the morning we received them. Meredith didn't even bother pulling those petals off. We also did not receive the types or colors of flowers we had talked about. We specifically asked for light blue delphiniums in my bouquet but there weren't any. We had also asked for a trellis with the same types of flowers. Yes, there were delphiniums on that, but they were completely the wrong color! We spent $450 on a trellis that had a small amount of flowers in one corner of it, it was held together by huge and ugly C clamps, and it did not match anything. The flowers were a huge disappointment. We had even taken the time to drive to Meredith's home, which is 3 hours away, to sit down with her and go over what we wanted. We provided detailed pictures and color swatches In the end, although the flowers fell short and we didn't get what we paid for, we had the most amazing day and wouldn't change a thing!!!

Our venue brought all of the arrangements to the brunch the next morning and they all still looked fabulous. So many guests took flowers home with them and they all told me they were fresh and beautiful for days! I would totally recommend Fancy Flowers to anyone getting married on the cape! Two weeks before my wedding, she realized she would not be able to stay in my budget and suggested I remove certain decorations or pay up. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I explained to her that I was working overtime to pay for the wedding and when I verbalized how disappointed I was that I would have to pay extra, she told me she was "mad at me" for trying to hold her to my budget. It was a rather bizarre interaction between two professionals. I was surprised that she was acting like this with me considering she had so many incredible reviews online. It was a learning lesson for me... make sure you have a SIGNED contract with a breakdown of prices and total cost. Nonetheless, beautiful flowers with a couple bumps in the road!

My dad made a beautiful nautical rope to place table cards in and Meredith completed it with a large arrangement in the middle to pull it all together. Unfortunately when our flowers were dropped off the delivery person was unaware there was a plan to have flowers dropped at the Grooms house and needed directions there. Also, my mom took her dress out of preservation and cut her lace sleeves off to send them to Meredith to be wrapped around my bouquet as my something old. Somehow the lace ended up lost and didn't end up on my flowers and wasn't disclosed to us until my mom looked and realized it wasn't from her dress. Meredith was very sympathetic and did give us $100.00 back. I was really sad when I heard this but I do understand mistakes happen. Overall, Meredith was great and I would work with her again in a heartbeat!

After meeting Meredith so many times I thought things would go perfect but they did not. My wedding cake never received the flowers it was supposed to and our wedding coordinator at our venue went and found some on his own and decorated it. This was huge disappointment and I was so sad to say Meredith did not make sure our cake looked the way we wanted after I sent her photos of it and we talked about it. This may have not been her fault entirely but she was responsible for the flowers and they never made it to the cake. Also our centerpieces I specifically asked for a certain combination of hydrangeas in each color mason jar and they were not correct. Also my bouquets were wrapped in PINK ribbon when I said specifically DO NOT use pink as my bridesmaids dresses were blush and the pink would clash. However they arrived with pink ribbon... Also my bouquet looked nothing like the photos I showed her and was extremely tight and only had a few blush flowers and they were already turning brown and wilting before my ceremony even started. Overall I think Meredith has probably delivered better flowers for other brides my wedding flowers had so many mistakes and it hurts me to think back to what they could have been but weren't.

I knew I wanted flowers for the mothers but wasn’t a huge fan of the traditional corsages. We decided on a single flower. With her keen design sense, Meredith took a single dahlia and made it absolutely special. The moms were very pleased and that’s a good thing! Her shop is lovely and everyone I interacted with was incredibly sweet, considerate and very customer-focused. On the day of, everything arrive on-time and as expected! PERFECTION! When the flowers arrived they were stunning and at their peak bloom. The colors were perfect and really pulled our wedding palette together. The bouquets were “durable” and withstood wedding day activities as well as the week the follow!
