From setting up your decor to getting you down the aisle, to making sure your family is available for photos, to ensuring you get to eat and drink and visit with all your guests, and then directing clean up at the end of the event, I'm there to make sure your big day is stress-free! Should you choose, I will also help you before your event with things like timeline preparation, vendor recommendations, event styling, and more!

Joy and the absolutely incredible business she has established through Fancy Peacock are the reasons our wedding went through without a hitch! If I had the means to hire this woman to plan my life on a daily basis, I would. Not only were her services needed in our case (we had our wedding at a venue that did not provide coordination the day of), but we loved that her packages fit our needs perfectly. She was one of the few event coordinator sites that we came across that advertised specifically day of coordination - a lot of other sites required us to tack on some form of coordination leading up to the day as well, which my husband and I were fine taking care of on our own. She was such a delight to work with, being incredibly clear on details she needed from us and leaving no stone unturned when it came to very specific details for a wedding. I remember feeling such a wave of relief wash over me when we had our final meeting with her and I truly saw how organized she was with all of our details, remembering items that I had forgotten out of feelings of stress leading up to our wedding weekend. She was constantly there to remind us it’s going to be ok and to remember to enjoy a day that really does go by incredibly fast. On the day of, she and her assistant helped with setup, vendor check-in, timeline check-in, and ensuring everything was moving according to schedule. She even came down to the room where I was getting hair and makeup done several times to give me personalized check-ins, which was incredibly touching. The best part was after our ceremony when Joy came right up to my husband and me, said, “Congratulations!” and placed both of our signature drinks in our hands! She knew out of experience that drinking and even eating are not always top priorities for a bride and groom, and she made sure that we were enjoying the little touches of our wedding just as much as our guests were. Cleanup was also a breeze at the end of the night because of Joy - she helped us plan a schedule ahead of time as to what items were going with which person, which is a godsend when everyone (especially family members) is a little fried at the end of the night, haha. We couldn’t have had a smoother and more joyful wedding day, thanks to Joy and her team!

Choosing to work with Joy was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. Leading up to our wedding, Joy was so attentive with answering all our questions and provided extremely helpful checklists and planning tools. At our rehearsal Joy kept us organized and ensured everyone knew what to do. The day of our wedding Joy was superwoman and made sure our day went perfectly. Were there hiccups at our wedding? Probably, but we never even knew about them because Joy handled them immediately. Joy is not only an incredibly talented coordinator, but also a very kind, friendly, and sincere person. If you want a stress-free wedding day so you can focus on the truly important things, make sure you book Joy and FPE.
Joy was awesome to work with! We did her day of coordination services but she really was there for us throughout our planning as well! She was available via email to help us with any small questions we had. She sent out helpful tip emails periodically to help us stay on track with planning. Her details sheet for the day of was daunting, but only because she really gets to know the tiniest details of your wedding so that she can run the day smoothly for you and makes sure it’s exactly what you want! I was completely calm on my wedding day knowing that she was taking care of everything. And her emergency kit came in handy throughout the day too, haha. Can’t thank her or recommend her enough!
If you’re on the fence about whether to spend the money on a coordinator or not just pull the trigger and do it! You spend all this time and money planning your big day, you want to be able to sit back and actually enjoy it when the time comes!!
If you’re going to make one definite decision about your wedding, make sure you book Joy! She was absolutely a literally joy to work with prior to and on the day of my wedding. Joy made my day so seamless and stress free. She was so organized with all of our details for the wedding. I also loved that she had her own rentals too. We ended up renting her velvet chairs for our sweetheart table. Joy was such an immense help in every aspect. We had an incident where both of our memorial collage frames broke. Joy literally saved the day and put them back together herself. She helped move items from our ceremony space to our reception that I was even questioning whether they could be moved. I can go on and on how much she made our day so peaceful. She was a true blessing to have on the day of your wedding. If you were like me and on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator, take this as your green light to hire Joy. It will be one decision about your wedding you won’t regret.
As a bride who thought she could do it all herself- do yourself a favor and set up a meeting with Joy. From our first FaceTime meeting, I knew she could envision our day they same way I could. My husband and I planned a very non-traditional, small wedding and Joy instantly convinced me she could help bring it to life. We booked Joy for our day-of coordinator, but anytime I needed reassurance throughout the whole process, Joy was there. Her professionalism, experience, and ability to think outside the box made our day everything we wanted it to be. She allowed my family to relax and enjoy the day with us, knowing anything that went wrong would be expertly taken care of. She thought of every little thing from adjusting the schedule, planning picture locations, to handing me water at dinner. She was everywhere at once, and I never had to worry about a thing. Trust me, you want Joy to be a part of the best day of your life, she’s incredible!

Joy was such an amazing coordinator! Her timeline for the day of was so thorough and everyone including our families were able to enjoy themselves. She is very organized and helps you plan out every detail so there is nothing to worry about the day of. Truly could not have asked for anyone better to help us with our day!
I don't even know where to start about Joy! She was just truly a blessing to have as our coordinator. She she went above and beyond through our whole process. I was stressing about all the questions I had for all of my vendors and after meeting with her, she had all those questions and started getting answers within hours of the meeting. The amount of stress she took off my shoulders was huge and I was able to enjoy the last couple months of planning. She was focused, super friendly and fun. She also got stuff done, that needed to be done. If something went wrong at my wedding, I have no idea because she on it and made sure it didn't ruin our night. I am so so happy that we went with her and her business. I highly recommend her service !!!
Joy is amazing, she is so well organized and detail oriented. She stays focus and on point. Joy can handle any situation that might come up, be it with a bridal party member, guest, or another vendor.
She makes it a point that if there are any questions or concerns to see her; so the Bride, Groom and their parents can relax and not deal with anything. (That was a blessing for me as the MOB).
Fancy Peacock Events can turn a beautiful reception room into a breathtaking magical dream come true.

We can't say enough how amazing Joy and FPE were! I had so many people compliment about FPE's work after my wedding. I am beyond glad I made the decision to have FPE as my day of coordinator! She is truly one of the best!!
Joy from FPE was simply incredible to work with. She went above and beyond in every way. She truly helped our vision come to life, and for a person like myself who has a hard time letting go of control, I felt completely confident that Joy would take care of things and for the first time could relax and let someone else handle all the details. She also executed our decor and styling of the day with perfection. We could not have asked for a more perfect day and it was all thanks to FPE.
Joy is absolutely AMAZING and truly an essential for any special event. She worked with us with all of the last minute changes we had to make to our wedding due to COVID, and ended up making our backyard wedding feel even more special than our original plan! We love her so much she’s helping us throw our big reception next year!
Joy was so amazing. She always answered my (many) questions very quickly. She also helped with anything we needed and always offered wonderful guidance.
The day of, she made sure everything went perfect. We did have one hiccup that she helped take care of, immediately. You can clearly tell that Joy genuinely loves helping couples celebrate their special day from the first interaction.

I booked Joy at Fancy Peacock Events for my wedding after working with her at my best friends wedding 2 years ago. She was a life saver. My fiancé and I did the half-day package and Joy was there every step of the way from the time we booked her until the time she left on the wedding day. She kept everything organized, and decorated our reception area with more detail and beauty than I envisioned myself! She was patient and kind, but kept us on track. Shes amazing and you will NOT be disappointed!!!
Wow, where do I start....
First, if you are on the fence regarding a wedding coordinator do NOT hesitate - book Joy!! You may think you do not need one as your already really organized (like I thought), family and friends will help, or its too expensive...whatever the reason is I strongly urge you to reconsider. You will never be organized enough for a wedding - they are alottttt of work and things DO and WILL go wrong even if very minor, family and friends say they will help but when alcohol gets involved people get chatty and distracted and when you look at the cost of a wedding a coordinator is a drop in the bucket.... Having a coordinator, especially Joy , for my wedding day was suchhhhh a great decision. Joy made everything run so smoothly and was on the ball with all the little hiccups...one of my friends straps broke, she was there; we had no box/bag for the dollar dance money, Joy was on it; we were short party favors, Joy came up with her suggested solution. I highly recommend Joy at Fancy Peacocks, I promise you will not regret it! :)
Joy literally saved the day! I was such a wreck, and she found a quick and easy solution to our problem! Everything went smoothly and I didn't have to do a thing! I will forever be so grateful to Joy for being there when we needed her the most! I will always recommend her to other brides, knowing she will help them have the most relaxing wedding day and planning experience!
My venue required a day of coordinator, so I went looking on the Knot for someone special and found Joy and I am SO glad I did. She is INCREDIBLE! Seriously! She was so much more than just a day of coordinator. She connected with me early on and then made sure to keep in touch over the planning process. As we got closer to the wedding, she dived in and made everything so easy and was super helpful. Planning a wedding in PA when I am located in Florida was overwhelming but I had so much faith in Joy that it made me feel so at ease. She knows what she is doing, is well prepared and is great at what she does. Even with a change of ceremony locations due to rain, Joy was on top of everything from set up to minor details...literally everything was perfectly handled and nothing went wrong or was missed. Not only is she great at her job but she is also such a kind soul with an awesome personality. Thank you so much Joy, you made our day perfect and I will be forever grateful!
This review is to the couples who are sure they can plan and manage their own wedding day, because that is what we thought and my husband and I were very wrong. We are very organized people and really thought we could handle things. A couple months out from our wedding we had a lot of the “big” stuff planned (ex. Venue, catering, flowers, invitations, & etc.). At the same time though, a thought came across that we really cannot manage this wedding day by ourselves or have family do it. We finally felt overwhelmed, so the search started for a wedding coordinator.
Joy was one of the best parts of the day and the best money we could have spent. There were also things we discussed that we would have never thought to do by ourselves. We hired Joy as a day of coordinator so we were stress free during the day, and we were stress free! She helped managed rehearsal and keeping our family updated on what they needed to do during the day. She contacted all the vendors we hired to make sure everyone was on the same page. She helped set and clean up everything. She also did some awesome things like making sure our drinks were filled as well our family members and wedding party! My maid of honor’s dress strap popped off and we were running to Joy for help because we knew we could go to her and get it fixed!
All in all, she kept us stress free and was absolutely worth it. A must hire for your wedding day!
Do not make the mistake of not having Joy as your event coordinator!!!
I truly don’t know where to start with how happy I am with Joy! Who she is as a person carries into who she is as a wedding planner. Joy is kind, gentle, patient, creative, and understanding all while making sure your event is coming to life in a timely manner and how you want it.
I remember the day that I found Joy, I was having a mild “meltdown” about all that goes into planning a wedding, especially because my venue was not all inclusive and all the pieces had to be put together. She got back to me instantly and with a calming presence. From then on, she broke down all tasks into a step by step process and would help me anything I may need. She contacted vendors & scheduled meetings, found decor ideas, and created a timeline for the day! She was there with me through texts, phone calls, and coffee meetings. With her help, the nine months of planning flew by with a breeze.
Then it was the day of my wedding, a day I would do a million times over (thanks to Joy). After being prepared from rehearsal the day before with what to expect and what to have for the day, I was stress free. So many people said to me “wow, you’re not like most brides” and it’s because I had Joy in my corner. I chose to get ready at an Air BNB with my wedding party while the guys got ready at the venue. Joy checked in back and forth on both parties while also setting up for the day.
She made the day go smoothly without hiccups: I remember when taking pictures someone told me my dress ripped, and before I could react or even see it, Joy was there with a safety pin! No one, including myself, noticed the tear from then on. From all the talking, my mouth got dry and she emerged with water and chapstick. We had my husband’s favorite cookies as dessert and he got so caught up in socializing she made sure he got some before they disappeared. She made sure that me, my husband, and our families had a perfect day we would never forget.
We had a beautiful ceremony and a flawless reception. Not only will I be a forever client (already booked one of her events she’s hosting but plan to use her for baby showers, birthdays, etc.), but I’ve also made a friend for life!
We chose Joy at Fancy Peacock Events to help us with my daughters wedding. The wedding was held at a private site and therefore, we did not have assistance from a venue. We did most of the legwork securing vendors, and preparing the reception site. However, we needed that extra bit of advice, and assistance with "day of" coordination. Joy certainly provided us with that, and much more!. She kept the vendors organized with set up, while keeping the bridal party on schedule up to and after the big moment - and through the evening reception. Joy took care of things that just needed done, and was always there to help to get you a drink, secure gifts and cards, tear down tables, etc....
We cannot thank her enough for making a special day, just perfect!!

Joy from Fancy Peacock Events was beyond AMAZING!! She really took the time to get to know us and our idea of our perfect wedding and made it a reality!! She was with us from our very first tasting through some unexpected and last minute difficulties with a vendor. Every step of the way she had a plan and a backup plan and a backup to the backup plan. She made our day feel “like us” and did so much behind the scenes to take the pressure off us and make it wonderful. She worked with the vendors the weeks before to finalize the details and she designed and created beautiful designs and layouts on the tables and around the venue to make it feel homey. She even somehow managed to wrangle our giant families and make the day run on time with no stress on us!
Fancy Peacock Events and Joy were phenomenal! We can’t recommend them enough!! It was the best decision we made for our wedding!!! I hope you all choose to work with Fancy Peacock Events because Joy has truly gone above and beyond for us and our wedding and I know she will do the same for you!! Her kindness, organization, attention to detail and amazing perspective was an incredible help with planning our day!!!

My now-husband and I hired Miss Persinger five months before our wedding. I had come to a point that I was feeling overwhelmed with details as the wedding neared. Unfortunately, we had to let her go two months later. I will not get into every detail of all that happened but I do feel responsible for sharing my story so another bride does not find herself in the same conundrum three months before her wedding and several dollars later.
The lack of attention to detail was, frankly, surprising. After many mess-ups, the final straw for me was when she "organized" a vendor document that should have included every detail about each of my vendors. It was the sloppiest document I have ever seen. Missing information, incorrect information, fonts of all sizes, boldness, sometimes italicized, sometimes not. I'm a detail-oriented person but I expect my wedding planner to be even more detail-oriented than me. I couldn't believe she had sent this along to her client. I sent it back and asked her to make changes (I pointed out a couple of mistakes but left many unmentioned leaving her to her own devices to see if she would tidy things up) and when she sent version two back, she had not even corrected all I had pointed out. Miss Persinger showed up to the wrong location for our tasting and ended up arriving 20 min. after we had begun. She would send me suggestions for something like groomsmen gifts. The suggestion documents were obviously carelessly thrown together and included the results of what appeared to be a 2-min. google search by Miss Persinger. When I did a more thorough and extensive 5-min. google search, I came up with so many more creative ideas. I also chose Fancy Peacock based on the pictures that were here on The Knot. Once I saw Miss Persinger's taste in decor, I realized we did not align at all and could not feel that I would be able to trust her to make style decisions. I feel the images here on The Knot somewhat misrepresented her taste. All this to say, there was very little value-add. My stress over her mistakes became a burden and was detrimental to my wedding-planning process. We asked Miss Persinger to send us an invoice for whatever she felt she was owed (after we had already given her the deposit) and she never asked for anything more. I did appreciate that because I felt we owed her nothing. I think she means well but may be in the wrong industry. Perhaps a much smaller-scale wedding than ours might suit her better but if you care at all about organization and details, Fancy Peacock is not the choice for you.
If I could give Joy 10 stars I would. She was the last vendor we hired, I called her about 2 months out to inquire about her decorating package as I had done all of the coordinating myself and wasn't planning on having a day of coordinator. Its funny how things work out because I honestly don't know what we would have done without her.
We had some unexpected circumstances come up with our venue, and our entire floorplan/decoration plan had to be changed on the fly day of. I called Joy in a panic the afternoon before the wedding, and she went above and beyond for us. She arrived much earlier and stayed much later than she was supposed to (and would not accept additional payment). She took what could have been a disaster and turned it into the most beautiful wedding. Every detail was perfect. Despite everything, my husband and I had the day we had been dreaming of and a large part of that is because of her tireless effort and commitment.
Hire Joy - you will be blown away. I only wish I had hired her as our wedding coordinator from the very beginning! Joy, for the hundredth time, we cannot thank you enough!!
Where do I begin. As I sit here and review Fancy Peacock Events, I realized I was the one going though reviews on The Knot only 11 months ago. I stumbled upon Fancy Peacock Events and the rest is history. Joy is an amazing person inside & out. She was always an email or phone call away. She took my vision and ran with it. You can count on her to go above & beyond. On the morning of our wedding Joy made special arrangements to pick up all the pickles for our pickle bar on top of her 12+ hour day of coordinating our wedding! I feel as if I made a friend over the past months & would choose Fancy Peacock Events over & over again!
Joy is seriously a heaven send! I was very skeptical about giving someone else the “reigns” of the wedding but Joy was perfect for someone like myself who is a control freak. EASILY the best money spent for the whole wedding. I can’t praise her enough!!!

Joy is a true professional and deserves so much praise. Joy absolutely MADE our wedding everything we wanted. We used her as a 'day-of' coordinator, but she was so much more. She took the reigns right when I needed it in the month leading up to the wedding and took care of EVERYTHING, not just on the day of the wedding. She is punctual, responsive to text and email right away, and goes above and beyond. We couldn't have done it without her. She was my "person" throughout the wedding day and I'm so incredibly thankful that we had the chance to work with her. If you are searching for wedding planners, Joy is the one. Thanks Joy!
Joy was absolutely AMAZING. When I say I don't know how we would have done it without her, it is not an exaggeration! She was so helpful in the preparation and organization of everything, and was a huge help in the set up of our decorations, coordinating the vendors and drop offs, etc. She made suggestions where we were unsure of what to decide on for certain things. At the end of the night she helped in the clean up and collected the cards, took care of giving the vendors their payments / tips, etc. All of this was what we had expected. She went above our expectations in how attentive to us she was throughout the day and night. She checked in on us and brought us waters to ensure we were staying hydrated during the day (it was a hot summer day). We had a cigar table and the cigars were going fast, so she brought my fiance a cigar and told him she'd keep it aside for him for when he wanted one. There were so many more instances like this where Joy went above and beyond what we were expecting and truly catered to us to make sure we were always good and happy. Joy - can't thank you enough for everything!! My entire family and wedding party raved about you as well!
I truly could not have had the wedding that I had without Joy. Our wedding venue was completely DIY, and I needed someone to execute all the plans and details I had spent the last year and a half working out. Joy helped us hammer out the nitty gritty details of our wedding day timeline, who would be in charge of which tasks, and was flexible when I needed to change some of the details in the days leading up to our wedding. When my plans had to change and I was no longer to set up the reception area the day of our wedding, Joy stepped in, agreed to arrive an hour earlier, and made sure every detail of our wedding was exactly what I had envisioned. She took care of any and all hiccups that might have happened so that we could just enjoy the day. At the end of the evening, Joy stuck around to help clean up as well. She thought of everything! My husband and I are in agreement that Joy was the best decision we made when planning our wedding, and even guests acknowledged how wonderful and helpful she was. Joy, we can't thank you enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams!!
