Fantastic Event Direction

first meeting, we absolutely loved Erin; She was friendly, professional, concise, and KNEW HER STUFF. She presented so many fantastic suggestions and ideas that we had not even considered, and we instantly knew that our wedding was in phenomenal hands. Erin wrote up a day-of timeline, communicated with all of our vendors, and advocated for us/took over when things came up. She even let me vent to her when I was stressing about things to have some emotional validation and reassurance that all would be okay, LOL. When I say that everything during the rehearsal and wedding went perfectly, I TRULY mean it. Our ceremony and reception were at two separate venues, so Erin and her assistant set up our reception space while we got ready at the other location. We had A LOT of small details to arrange for the reception, and they were still present at the ceremony venue 30-45 minutes beforehand to check in with everyone and keep things moving. The entire day was 100% on schedule, which I was absolutely shocked by…I had genuinely never been to a wedding before where EVERYTHING was on time!! Our reception was everything we dreamed about and more…Erin and Andrea completely outdid themselves. Every single detail and accommodation we expressed to her in our meeting was met AND exceeded. We did not stress for a single second, and we danced the night away…Erin danced too and we were ecstatic! She truly loves her job, and WE loved seeing HER enjoy the celebration as well. So many more things could be said, but I’ll keep the rest short and sweet: Hire her. Erin will take incredible care of you!

ntire wedding myself but she did help finalize details I overlooked. Through this process, it was fairly smooth. I heard a couple complaints about details not being aligned from other vendors but nothing that couldn't be managed. This brings me to the day of the rehearsal dinner. I was picking up the food for the dinner while Erin arrived. She was met with my husband and both of our parents. Her husband was extremely rude to my husband while asking for the restroom. Mind you both of us were unaware he would be with her let alone alone coming into the hall without explaining who he was or why he was there. The entire night Erin was very authoritative. I was expecting a guidance not someone bossing me around, especially with some family members showing up late due to Columbus traffic. Now the wedding. I could write pages about things I was not happy with but I will try to keep this part short and to the main points. 1. She tried to convince me multiple times to have an indoor ceremony despite the weather having a window of great fall weather and me being very adamant an outdoor ceremony was the goal. 2. She yelled and I mean YELLED at my DJ because he wouldn't start the reception intro music despite my dress not being bustled yet. 3. She was very rude to my photographers, telling them to cut photos short because they weren't going to make the timeline - in her opinion. 4. She was rude to pretty much everyone. She never asked anything of anyone, she only ordered people around. I was very surprised by this due to her and I having a conversation about how wedding timelines were an outline not a guarantee. Therefore, we should follow the structure but not worry so much about the minute by minute play. While I look back on wedding day with fondness, the worst part of my day was explaining to people that my coordonator was supposed to be there to help me yet instead caused me the most stress. I kick myself for not listening to my husband when he told me not to hire her.

us on track. Striking a great balance between those three was very appreciated during every step of the process. We were planning our wedding remotely, so our opportunities to see venues and meet with vendors was limited. Erin contacted and set up many of these appointments for us and arranged for a very effective weekend. She accompanied us during the visits, and quickly set up additional appointments once she learned what we liked and disliked, until we finally found the perfect spot. The entire time, she was balancing our preferences and vision of the venue with our ideal budget - never pressuring us against either. Erin continued to keep us on task, informing us of recommended timelines, sending reminders, and always being willing to talk when we had too many questions for our regular emails. When we did need to communicate with vendors, she was always willing to join the conversation and advocate for us or share her perspective. Whenever we had an idea in mind, she would work to make it a reality. She wasn't affraid to share that a certain idea end up bad, but she always would present several ways to modify it slightly in a way that would fit a bit better. She was open to fun and quirky ideas, but was also happy with more traditional ideas. She was open and communicative in a way that made us feel very comfortable being open with her. For example, when we received a sample for the centerpieces, she made us feel comfortable saying that we didn't like them and we all were very comfortable making a different selection for the centerpieces. As the wedding approached, the emails, phone calls, and check-ins became more frequent, ensuring all final details were in place and ready to go. She made extra effort to help pick up items, deliver them to the venue, set up the tables, and design so many beautiful decorations that I didn't have nearly enough time to fully appreciate (but our guests did!). On the actual day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly, I had no concerns at all and was able to fully enjoy the day. I did notice a couple times Erin running around and ensuring things were happening flawlessly behind the scenes, and sure enough, everything was perfect. Thank you Erin!

machine. If there are mistakes day-of you and your guests will never notice because Erin can adapt to anything. I’m sure you’ve been to a wedding where the mothers of the bride and/or groom are flustered and stressed trying to get everything ready in time, the bride gets cranky because no one thought to get her lunch, or something goes wrong and it feels like the event will come crashing down. We’ve all seen it happen. BUT YOU CAN AVOID ALL OF THIS SIMPLY BY HIRING ERIN. She hand-picked several of our vendors and they worked as a team to make our day fun and 100% worry free! Seriously, not once did I stop smiling and so many guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. She spared no detail: She had an emergency suitcase with everything we could ever need, and I swear it seemed like every time I started to worry about something she magically appeared and took care of it. My groom and I, and our families all just floated blissfully through our entire day thanks to Erin

She is very easy to talk to and by looking at all of the photos of the events she's planned, it's obvious to me that she is exceptionally talented and will come highly recommended by me to anyone I know needing an event planner!
