Farina's Banquet Center

The venue is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff are amazing!! My ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was all held here and the way Brooke designed and transformed the rooms was awesome! I would recommend them to any one for any event but definitely your wedding and reception!

My husband and I had our reception in the larger room at Farina's (Diamond). We really wanted to invite a large group (220 people), so Brooke and Karen really tried hard to accommodate us by offering the whole facility for the same price as just the one floor. We were told we could fit about 200 people in the larger room, but it would be tight. Since we had about 160 guests RSVP yes, we decided to stay in the larger room, but that was very tight with just the 160. We had mixed feelings about the food because some aspects were good, while others left something to be desired. Upon originally signing with Farina's, we were excited to hear that they had monthly food tastings so we could select our menus. We should have had 12 taste tastings, but due to a few family emergencies with the staff, we only ended up with 6. We were also told we would get two plates of food sent home with us the night of because they understood that we would be too busy to enjoy the food, however we were disappointed when we got home and realized that we had not received the plates. Brooke's explanation was that we needed to ask for it. We also noticed that our Green Beans Almondine was missing the almonds. In terms of set up, the room looks very nice with the chandeliers and the mirrors, however the dishes are starting to look old and dirty from use. The backdrop could have used more sheer because you could see the metal bars behind it. We were very excited to hear that we had full access to their storage room to find decorations. Unfortunately, one of our 12 person tables was missing a chair and place setting, so one of our guest couples had to share a chair and dishes through the first course until the staff was able to remedy the error. In terms of the people, we found Brooke and Karen to be very friendly and easy to reach. Each time we called, Brooke answered and remembered who we were. They were always available for questions and worked with my mom to help ease any of her stressors. Unfortunately, after the wedding, Brooke made a lot of excuses for certain issues we brought to her attention and tried turning things around to appear as though we were at fault. My mom was very impressed with the wait staff and mentioned that they were quick to answer her beck-and-call. Unfortunately, the opinion was not shared by myself or some of my other guests. Our waters were never refilled and when I asked the waiter to share my champagne with my parents' tables, we were told no. When the soup arrived in the family-style bowl, I asked the server if he could just serve the head table so we didn't have to pass it down the line and risk spilling, he said that wasn't part of the family-style. We received a lot of great comments about the bartender who made sure to keep everyone's glasses full. The only comment is that for 160 people, there should have been two bartenders. The main criticism we had for Farina's is that it seemed that there was a lack of clarity and communication between Karen and Brooke. We were hearing a lot of conflicting information between the two and it led to the loss of one of the gifts we received from a guest.

Brooke and the staff at Farina's Banquet Center made our day easy! Everything was set up for us and ready to go. Everyone love d the room, the bar, and the food! The food was amazing, I only wish I could have eaten more of it! I'll go back for any banquet needs that I have, no question. Thank you again!

Had our wedding at Farina's Banquet Center and we loved working with the girls in the office (Brooke and Kelly) they did a great job making us feel comfortable and walking us thru this process step by step. You can definitely tell that Farina's Chefs put a lot of love into the food that they make and we really appreciated that the owner and head chef Karen came out during our taste test to go over all of our questions. The room looked amazing and the staff was courteous and professional. Thanks Farina's for making our wedding a day we will always remember
