Everything WAS LOVELY. FFE team did my flowers late last year . We had a more spring color palette than fall colors. India was super -knowledgeable about what flowers would work well. The price was excellent and we were over the moon with how everything turned out. Recommend this team for florals if you are looking for a great experience!!!
We used Farm & Fields for our floral design for my wedding last year in Northern Virginia at a terrific vineyard near Leesburg. The flowers were exceptional and were just what I was looking for.
Overall communication was excellent with designers, Christina and India. They were on-time, overall great value, adding some complimentary items to my reception as well. Thoughtful! I have also recommended them to (2) of my friends who are getting married as well.
The only regret we have from our wedding was hiring farm and fields to do our flowers. We had a smaller wedding and ended up paying $3600 for the florals. We were constantly reminded by Christina how they normally do much larger and more expensive weddings. It seemed every communication they felt the need to belittle, even though they accepted the job and knew what we were going to pay.
After we signed the proposal all communication stopped and up until 2 weeks before the wedding it was difficult to get ahold of Christina and India to confirm details. Each time we spoke to India it seemed she forgot who we were and what flowers we had agreed on for the wedding. India canceled multiple meetings with us the day of (2 hours prior). And when we finally had the meeting it seemed as though she had someone else’s proposal up as everything was incorrect she was planning for our wedding. Multiple times we had to request they refer back to the signed proposal to get the agreed upon details for the wedding, as they were completely off based with colors and flower types. The design process leading up to the wedding was made much harder and more unpleasant than it needed to be due to the way Christina and India conduct business. We tried to brush all of this off and hope for the best on the wedding day because they did have good reviews. But they severely under delivered with the florals they brought. They put fake flowers in my wife’s bridal bouquet, and Christina didn’t even have the nerve to hand it to her, she gave it to someone else and left immediately before we could see or talk to her. Which after dealing with her the last several months wasn’t that surprising, at this point it was almost comical to us as we had to brush it off our we would go crazy after working with Christina and India. Most of the colors / flowers were off, but at least they delivered something I suppose. We would have cancelled them a month before the wedding if we could have gotten our money back. But they pushed back against this. On the phone Christina apologized for how poor of a job they were doing, and asked what they could do to make it right. We stated that we would like candles to be included with the flowers. Then in her follow up email she tried to charge us another $2,000 for the candles.
We tried to give them multiple chances throughout the months leading to our wedding to redeem themselves, and honestly it just got worse. Christina was constantly rude and even yelled at our wedding coordinator. While India was impossible to get ahold of and caused more confusion than assistance whenever we did speak to her. I would highly recommend not hiring farm and fields for wedding florals, especially if you are on a smaller budget. It was a terrible experience, and after reading their good reviews it was a shock at how poorly they actually conduct business
This was the saddest thing about my wedding day. I had dreams of beautiful florals at my wedding and they brought me fake flowers. We paid for a large half circle installation at my ceremony and they brought a wall of green with very few flowers in it. Many of my flowers were carnations. I did not want this. My bridal bouquet had fake flowers all throughout and they didn’t even tell me when they dropped it off. I was so so upset. It was incredibly sad. My husband’s boutonniere wilted and flopped down the front of his tux within an hour. All of this was after we could not get ahold of India for weeks (1.5-2 months) we didn’t have final designs until 2 weeks before my wedding. When I finally got them on the phone Christina admitted that they had made mistakes with their communication and apologized but then in writing said they had done nothing wrong and made sure to say they wouldn’t be giving any of our money back ( this was 2 weeks before our wedding and we didn’t ask for our money back, this was just odd). I’m not sure if they realize but I have all of the email chains with weeks (adding up to 2 months) worth of messages of me trying to get ahold of them with no responses. Earlier in the process, India would make appointments with us just to cancel them two hours before our call was supposed to happen. She assured us that curtain details were included in the design and the contract they had us sign, then later, they themselves would forget what was in the contract and not include these same elements they put together. This has just been a really unfortunate working relationship. We tried to salvage it many times with no avail. I hate to talk about a vendor like this, but the personal offense became great by the fourth time they reminded me that they mostly do larger weddings and mine was not that large, we ended up spending $3600 with them and quite honestly if you’re looking at this vendor for smaller budget, you may want to reconsider. To be clear this was not a smaller budget in our opinion but it was made incredibly clear to me that it was to Christina and India. I am leaving this review also because of the way that they treated my wedding planner. My wedding planner had to call them because we could not get a hold of them for two months and when she called her back, Christina started talking down to my wedding planner aggressively (somewhat yelling) and saying “oh we’ll just make it look pretty”. My wedding planner said that she needed details and making it look “pretty” isn’t enough of a reassurance. My wedding planner also said she had never been spoken to that way before by a vendor in her years of experience in the wedding industry and that that was inappropriate and demeaning. Honestly, I really didn’t want to leave this review but the fact that they gave me fake flowers for my wedding without ever telling me or discussing it beforehand, the way we were treated and gaslit, and the fact that we spent almost $4000 with them and were told many times that they normally do bigger work, I have to leave the review.
The flowers were beautiful and exactly what we envisioned! It was important to us to source local flowers where possible and Farm & Fields made sure that happened! The team was communicative throughout the design process and flexible with the changing rain plans day of. Highly recommend!
From the moment we started planning our wedding, we knew we needed someone special to manage our big day, and our day-of wedding planner exceeded all expectations! Christina and her team's professionalism, attention to detail, and calming presence were exactly what we needed.
Right from the start, Christina and her team members took the time to understand our vision and worked tirelessly to bring it to life. They coordinated with vendors effortlessly, ensuring everything of my wedding was perfect. On the wedding day, their organizational skills shone. They managed the timeline with precision, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in our special moments without worrying about the behind-the-scenes details.
What truly set our planner apart was their ability to handle unexpected situations with grace and efficiency. When minor hiccups arose, they resolved them so seamlessly that we, and our guests, barely noticed.
Most importantly, their warm and friendly attitude made us feel supported and understood. They went above and beyond, adding personal touches that made our day even more memorable.
