From the moment my now husband and I met Meghan we knew we wanted her to be our wedding coordinator. Meghan gave us a tour of the venue we ended up choosing and her enthusiasm, authenticity, and confidence not only sold us on the gorgeous venue but on her as well. I cannot express enough how personable, funny, and kind Meghan is which makes trusting her with your special day an easy task. Leading up to the wedding Meghan was so gracious answering all of my many questions and being supportive in any way she could. All the paperwork she sends gave me amazing guidelines on everything from choosing vendors to tipping. I can genuinely say I would not have had as much fun at my wedding as I did without her. In the weeks/days leading up to the wedding Meghan organized ALL my vendors flawlessly to ensure they were on the same page and knew their roles for the day of. The day of execution of all vendors setting up went flawlessly and Meghan setup all my decor and centerpieces beautifully. It is truly a talent to bring someone else’s vision to life and that is exactly what she did. Not to mention she was checking in on me and my husband throughout to make sure we had eaten, had drinks, and that we were doing okay! She also helped me with changing out of my dress later in the night! I can honestly say Meghan was the BEST decision I ever made. She really is just an awesome person and excels at her job because she truly wants to make your wedding special. So many of my guests came up to me to express how impressed they were with Meghan and that they wish they had someone like her at their wedding. I’m telling you right now, HIRE HER if you want to experience an epic wedding day.
Meghan was our day of coordinator and had our backs all day! We didn't have to stress about anything and could enjoy our guests and each other! She took care of all the details, even taking photos! The entire day flowed seamlessly due to her planning and timing. Thank you Meghan!

We hired Meghan Farrar as our day of coordinator for our April wedding at Rust Manor and would highly recommend couples hire her. From the get go, Meghan was an organized, kind, reassuring voice for us while planning the wedding. She was also the only coordinator to let us know Virginia’s residency requirement regarding officiants. Meghan was super familiar with Rust Manor. In the countdown to our wedding, Meghan checked in to make sure things were going well, answer any questions we have, and organize us for the walkthrough. Though we hired Meghan primarily for the day of our wedding, she was available to us throughout the planning process. In the month run up to our wedding, Meghan greatly assisted us in organizing the little details of the day and coordinating with our vendors, many of whom had worked previously with her and were excited to work with her again. Prior to our wedding, Meghan coordinated with our various POCs for vendors and the venue, making sure they knew who to reach out to on the day of our wedding and the timing of the day. Additionally, Meghan helped us through some last minute changes due to unexpected events. She was incredibly accommodating and reassuring. On the day of our wedding, Meghan was everything we needed her to be and more. She managed to keep us on schedule, comfortable, and immensely helped our stress. Her kind words and warm personality shined throughout the day and made our wedding day all the more special. We would recommend Meghan for any future wedding.
Meghan was the best! She made planning and organizing my wedding super easy with her guides and advice. She is so easy to work with and would 100% recommend her for your wedding! She made sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted, was flexible when we needed to make last minute changes, and made it so I didn't have to think about any details during the day of the wedding. Meghan was fantastic. While I did most of the planning, she had a comprehensive checklist that caught several items I forgot. Also, for the vendors I had not yet chosen, she had a fantastic list that I used and they were all fabulous. I had many questions that came up, and whenever I did, no matter how big or small, I would text or email Meghan and get a response back within seconds. On the day of, Meghan made the day incredible. She kept track of the schedule and ensured everything ran smoothly without a hitch. When the bus driver called my husband, I just asked Meghan to handle it and she did. When I realized I forgot to bring the signs for the departure buses, she made an announcement and walked around to all of the tables to inform our guests. In terms of decor, Meghan, followed my guidelines and added key details where I hadn't even thought about what to do. The room looked BEAUTIFUL. Meghan also cleaned up everything and had it all in boxes ready to go within 30 minutes of the event ending. Did I mention she also served as our official officiant? She made my daughter's wedding day perfect. I could enjoy the entire day with almost no worries because I could see Meghan was on top of everything. I really can't recommend Meghan highly enough.
From the first phone call with Meghan, I knew I needed to hire her as my day-of-coordinator. She is so down-to-earth, thoughtful, and knows what she is doing! I have never worked with someone that is so quick to reply to any e-mail or text. She was a constant breath of fresh air. I had no reason to stress or worry about the planning process or my wedding day. She is so caring and fun to work with. Meghan did an amazing job coordinating our wedding! Our venue was challenging to work with so it was a huge relief to have Meghan in our corner. A friend referred her with wonderful things to say, and I hope to return the favor in the future! From our first meeting, we felt so reassured. She worked a miracle setting up and then flipping our space in very limited time and we were thrilled with how everything looked. Our guests gave us so many compliments and we were so pleased with how the night went - we didn’t experience any stress once the night started, and got to enjoy every minute. Meghan is a freaking rockstar! Being that I was the first to plan a wedding in my friend group, I had absolutely no idea what went into a wedding / timeline / vendors / etc (all that good good). Meghan provided me with self-created vendor guides & other resources from the get go & was so quick in getting back to me whenever I had questions. She is very laidback, honest, and a genuine human being. You can tell she is passionate about each couple she takes care of and is efficient in making sure the day goes the way it needs to without any complication (and she has fun doing it too)! She kept us eating, drinking & making sure things go accordingly. Couldn’t have done it without her. Highly recommend!!
Meghan was great! My husband and I met Meghan when she was giving us a tour of a venue we ended up not choosing, but we really liked her style and can-do attitude, and we knew we wanted to hire her as our coordinator.

I can't recommend Meghan and her company Farrever After Events enough!! She was our day-of coordinator (and behind the scenes officiant) and was such a pleasure to work with. Leading up to the event, we were blown away by her responsiveness and all of the great tips and advice she shared. Several of our other vendors came from her list of recommendations--we're from out of state so this was BIG and definitely contributed to how perfectly our day turned out. Her planning docs were also super helpful in making sure I didn't forget anything along the way.
On the day of, we didn't worry about a thing because Meghan was behind the scenes taking care of all the details big and small, which meant we could really be present and enjoy the day. Aside from being a great vendor, Meghan is also just a great human being to work with, and I'm so appreciative of her calm way of being and thoughtfulness on such a crazy, beautiful day.
It took us about 5 seconds to decide we wanted to hire Meghan as our wedding coordinator after our first phone call. We loved her calm yet efficient demeanor that definitely matched us as well. Meghan was BY FAR the most responsive vendor we had which is exactly what you want in a coordinator. She was available for a call or quick text whenever necessary. Her vendor contact list was amazing and we used several of them the day of and they all delivered and then some. Our wedding party and family loved her also as she helped our wedding day go so smoothly. If hiccups happened on the wedding day, we didn’t know and it all got handled. And finally, as we got to know each other throughout the planning process we grew to like her even more and we feel like we’ve found a friend we’re going to keep updated throughout our lives now. I can’t recommend Meghan enough, she’ll make your wedding everything you want it to be and then some.
Meghan is an exceptional month and day of coordinator! I HIGHLY recommend her. From the start, she has been very reliable and responsive. With all the wedding planning to dos, it is extremely helpful to have a supportive and responsive vendor like Meghan. She answered all of our emails with an hour or two (which is exceptional truly) and got us the answers we needed to help guide us on vendor choices. Once we hired Meghan I knew our wedding day would go smoothly. Meghan comes with a lot of knowledge of the wedding industry and is excellent at keeping all your vendors in sync and on time for the big day! We had a few unplanned things come up on our wedding day, outside of everyone's control, that Meghan solutioned for quickly and kept the day running as smoothly as can be. I did not worry day of at all about the details, Meghan executed my dream wedding!

My partner and I got married with Meghan’s help TWICE.
We booked Meghan right after our engagement because we knew we needed to lock the best down for our wedding day as soon as possible. This was around May/June 2022. In November 2022, we needed to have an impromptu elopement the day before thanksgiving as one of our parents was unfortunately losing the fight to cancer and wasn’t going to make it to our June 2023 wedding. Meghan, without any hesitation, came to our home and married us in a private ceremony the day before a holiday.
Fast forward to June 3, 2023 and Meghan, of course, showed up for us 110% again on our wedding day. My partner and I were able to fully enjoy the day because we knew without a doubt that Meghan had everything under control. She wrangled all the vendors, set up our ceremony and reception decor, helped people get to where they needed to be, and always made sure Amber and I had food, drinks, whatever we needed.
When you are handing someone so much power to make or break your special day, you want to make sure that you are making the perfect hire. Meghan is that person. Not only did she bring professionalism and organization to our wedding day, she was fun and joyful! Anytime we saw her, she was smiling or laughing and helping us including our guests make core memories. Meghan loves what she does and it shows through in every interaction you will have with her whether it’s over the phone, email, or in person.
We may have hired Meghan to help us on just one day of our lives but we have fully gained a friend in her and can’t wait to continue our relationship outside of her work!
Meghan went above and beyond to make our morning wedding go as smoothly as possible. Her speedy email responses and expertise made it so easy to be able to trust her advice and plan for the day. Whether it was “what are the differences between these pocket folds?” to “when do people usually do toasts?” Meghan was on it! On the day she also crushed it by not only making sure everything was set up and on time, she went out of her way just to check up on me (the bride) whether it was finding where I was hiding to get away from the commotion to bringing us our favorite drinks and apps from cocktail hour. I would recommend her to all my friends but especially to brides who know what they want for their wedding day but would love to have someone reliable to make sure it comes to life.
I knew nothing about planning a wedding but everyone kept telling me I should DEFINITELY find a month/day-of coordinator. Through some trial and error, and the network that is the wedding industry, I ended up on a video call with Meghan with less than 5 months till the big day. I could tell right away her low key vibe would mesh with ours, and it was an added bonus that she had worked with our caterer on some other weddings already. While we did the majority of the work leading up to the event, there were several clutch moments where she made a key suggestion or asked a question we hadn’t thought of. Through her vendor list we discovered a fantastic DJ that made all the difference for our event, and her suggestion of adding some LED sparkler wands for the dance floor and send off was perfect! She always answered my emails immediately and I felt reassured going into the big day. I wasn’t worried at all since we had some precalls with Meghan, our caterer and the DJ beforehand! When it turned out to rain and we had to pivot under the tent for our ceremony I wasn’t concerned at all, and the rest of the night blew by in a blur! She coordinated with everyone to adjust events so we could pack everything in- and all with an easygoing and calming influence. She has tons of knowledge and is a really helpful partner for pulling off the big day! In VA she is also licensed to sign off on the marriage certificate, so we were able to have our friend do the ceremony in front of the guests and Meghan made it official. All in all she’s a great choice for a planner, especially if you are more DIY but need some helpful steers, and for the event itself when she really kicks into gear.
Meghan did an amazing job helping us plan the details of our wedding - coordinating vendors, thinking through the setup at the venue, and making suggestions when we were stumped. On the day of the wedding, we were able to totally focus on having fun because Meghan was managing the timeline, vendors, and anything else that might have come up. She's also a totally lovely person (with a great tattoo) and we were so happy to have her at our wedding!
Where do we begin. Meghan has been amazing since day 1. We actually met her at our first (and only) venue tour. She sold us on the venue and when we found out we were required to have a day of coordinator, it was no question we were going to see if she would take on the task. Which she did and was amazing! Meghan is super organized and ready for anything. She is so responsive and will answer any questions you have. When it is time for figuring out the day of timeline, she makes it look so easy! She helps you figure the entire day out. And the day of the wedding, she makes sure everything goes smoothly, literally not one thing went wrong on our wedding day because she made sure all the vendors were on the same page. If you want to have a perfect wedding day, definitely go with her!
Meghan is amazing at what she does. If you want to have a smile on your face the whole day knowing that everything you have planned is in place and taken care of, hire her. She is laid back, caring and just plain fun to be around.

Meghan was so amazing!! I remember turning to my husband the day of our wedding and telling him that she was worth every single penny we spent to work with her.
We had a phone consultation to make sure we all vibed, and then she came into play in the planning process about a month before the wedding. During that time, she went to our a venue for a walk-through (a meeting which my husband and I completely missed due to having the time down wrong, but she showed up for and completed anyway and was completely cool about it despite our many apologies). She kept me on track with reminders to make sure I got everything to her and the other vendors on time, and took care of every single thing the day-of. And I mean EVERYTHING. She met us at the venue and walked us all through the rehearsal the day before the wedding, and the day-of she got all of our decorations into the right places, handled all the vendors, and even brought me glasses of champagne when my hands were empty! Any time I needed her she was right there, and when I didn't, she was working invisibly on the sidelines somewhere. Many vendors commented on how I was such a "chill bride" on my wedding day, and I KNOW it was because I had Meghan there to handle everything. If I had to do it all again, I'd work with her every time!
Meghan was an awesome day-of-coordinator. Her communication was great leading up to the day, I always felt like she had everything under control.
On the wedding day, she managed our challenging families and kept everything flowing smoothly. We really only saw her when she was asking us if we needed anything or making sure everything was going okay. I would recommend using Meghan as your day-of-coordinator!
When the best planner of one of my friend groups recommended Meghan, I knew I would be in safe hands. Even so, having Meghan as our day-of coordinator exceeded my wildest expectations. After speaking to a few wedding coordinators prior to Meghan and feeling underwhelmed, I found Meghan's "no BS" approach to be a breath of fresh air-- she's super responsive, tells it like it is, and above all, always put our needs first. Throughout the planning process and coordination across vendors, Meghan made it a point to check in with me and see how I was feeling, quickly troubleshoot problems as they arose, and provide guidance on any wedding-related etiquette or vendor questions that I wasn't sure how to approach. On the wedding day, Meghan was professional, kept us on schedule, and made it possible for my now-husband and I to just sit back and effortlessly enjoy the day (a thing that I, as a self-professed control freak, have a hard time doing). I felt like I gained a trusted friend throughout our wedding planning journey with Meghan and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone and everyone.
TL;DR Meghan is incredible and you're the luckiest couple alive if you get to have her as your planner/coordinator.
Meghan was absolutely outstanding as our wedding coordinator. As an LGBT couple, we were cautious about choosing the right coordinator that would support our relationship. Meghan was incredibly supportive and welcoming. She also made herself available all the time and was there to ease our anxieties. She also did a fantastic job wrangling the wedding party the day of our wedding and coordinating with vendors. We cannot speak any higher of Meghan and how hardworking she truly is!
Meghan was a dream to work with. I had no intentions of hiring a day of coordinator but not only does Meghan offer officiant services she also can allow family or friends to officiate while she does day of coordination. Literally a dream come true. From every single detail Meghan came in and took charge of all our set up and issues (this bride was not feeling well and she had ideas for how to deal with). Meghan is nothing but professional and flexible at every turn. I can’t wait to work with her again. Our venue, Hummingbird, and all our vendors also raved about her.
Meghan was so amazing to work with! She was super responsive at all times and went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly, and was everything we wanted it to be. Any question I had, she had the answer (and more)! The day was more than I could've asked for, and she played such an important part in that! Planning an event yourself can be super stressful, but with Meghan as our day-of-coordinator I knew we were in great hands.
Meghan not only worked with me once, but twice over the course of 2 years due to my wedding reception being postponed due to COVID-19. She is absolutely incredible and I cannot recommend her enough. During my reception on 7/16/2022, she went above and beyond what I could have asked for on that day. She helped make sure that all of the decorations were set up just how I wanted, responded promptly to my many emails, dealt with a few last minute cancellations, helped with parking validations and much much more behind the scenes that I couldn’t even see! Right before I walked in to do the first dance with my husband, I realized that some small loops at the bottom of my dress were getting caught on my shoes and that there was no way that I could dance. She literally ran to get an extra pair of shoes that I had in my bag. I know I am not able to capture everything that Meghan did that day in this review, but please know that she is worth every cent! My husband also commented on how great she was! I highly recommend Meghan!
Meghan was absolutely the best! Even though she was technically a day of coordinator, she responded to multiple frantic emails from me in the months preceding my wedding. I absolutely suck at planning and was completely overwhelmed at times but Meghan handled everything like a champ and always made me feel at ease. She was always so responsive and flexible. On my wedding day everything flowed so smoothly I did not have to worry about a thing. Even multiple members of my family commented on how great of a job she did.
Meghan was the BEST! She handled every logistic for the day of the wedding seamlessly allowing us to soak it all in. Meghan's planning questionnaire made us think through every detail of our day so nothing was forgotten. She made our guests feel welcome and did an outstanding job of managing the flow to keep the whole event on schedule. If you're looking for a get it done coordinator who is incredibly organized, thoughtful, and experienced, Meghan is your vendor! Our day was perfect and so much of that was thanks to her!
Meghan did an excellent job with the month / day-of coordinating for our outdoor / back-yard wedding. She was always available by phone, email, and was extremely responsive and flexible. She was realistically guiding us through the process of planning our wedding multiple months in advance even though she was technically only hired for month-of planning. She worked well with us and our parents (who were also involved in planning). She also provided the signature for our marriage license, which was very convenient. On the day-of, she confidently managed multiple vendors and coordinated things so they worked seamlessly. She recommended excellent vendors that we were very pleased with. We hadn't been to a lot of weddings before, so didn't know how ceremonies are supposed to run, and she helped us create the organizational structure for ours. She was a pleasure to work with over the last several months and we would definitely recommend her.
When we booked Meghan as our day-of-coordinator, we didn't expect a "week-of" absolute angel of a human to save our wedding. But she did. I don't think we're overstating it when we say Meghan was the glue that kept our wedding together. Three days before our wedding, our band dropped out. She worked all day and night to get us a replacement, frankly just as good as the original.
She also made sure our day was perfect, regardless of the torrential downpour all day and all night. All we had to do was enjoy our wedding day - she made sure of that.
Beyond that, Meghan is incredibly professional, organized, and a true joy to work with.

Meghan did a phenomenal job coordinating a wedding at our venue on December 20, 2021. There were a lot of moving parts that day, with a ceremony off-site, an Irish dancing performance, plated dinner, and multiple toasts from friends and family. Despite a delay from the ceremony, she made sure everything caught up on the timeline so the couple had enough time for dancing at the end of the evening. She was responsive and thorough throughout the planning process, and she made sure our venue was well equipped and prepared to give our clients an excellent experience. We can't recommend her highly enough!

In the months leading up to the wedding, Meghan was ahead of us on every aspect of planning, helping us to arrange our own thoughts by providing detailed spreadsheets for us to fill out. Meghan always (ALWAYS) responds promptly, and was available to answer even minor questions that came up. When our venue point of contact did not arrive to our wedding walkthrough, Meghan led the walkthrough herself, and made us feel even better about the event than when the day had started. I knew she was top notch when I noticed that she had clipped her binder to an old purse strap to make sure she didn't lose any of her notes! I loved it! That's taking organized to a whole other level!

Next thing I knew, she contacted me in a few hours. She is super sweet, helpful, and very prompt. Talk about a speedy response! Whenever I emailed her, she responded fast! Meghan was able to be the calm throughout our entire wedding day. Some of the staff at the venue were trying to convince us that we needed to move the wedding indoors because it was raining during the early morning/afternoon time frame. However, by the time the wedding was going to happen it was predicted to be done raining! Meghan had my back and stood strong on having the ceremony outside (it didn't rain :)). She did so much work to make sure our space was completely ready for the wedding. I did a terrible job at labeling all of our decorations but Meghan was still able to find exactly where everything went and made the space look incredible!
Meghan was great to communicate with. She came to our walkthrough so she could be on the same page as us and even though she couldn't be at our rehearsal, she made sure that we knew exactly what to do to be ready for the big day.

Meghan was amazing to work with!! She was by far the most responsive/quickest response of all my vendors. She helped us through several date changes due to COVID. The day of went very smoothly which I knew was due to her. I'm so thankful I had someone to ask any and every question I had that came up during wedding planning. She helped organize our walk through with all the vendors that needed to attend and kept all of us in contact in the week(s) leading up to the wedding (meaning I didn't have to but could still be in the loop of correspondence). She really helped make the wedding planning process that is long, crazy, confusing more simple and easier from the day we hired her to the day of our wedding. We booked Meghan as our day-of coordinator before COVID hit and ended up having to cancel with her when things for our wedding got rearranged because of the pandemic. We went ahead with our wedding on a much smaller scale, and even though we weren't formally contracted with her anymore, Meghan still answered my questions and helped me be sure I had everything squared away for our COVID-friendly wedding. We are SO thankful she was there for us -- which she was just out of the kindness of her heart, not out of contractual obligation.
Pre-COVID, I didn't think I wanted a wedding coordinator - our wedding was going to be pretty small and informal and we wanted to do it on a budget. We decided to book one after talking to Meghan for the first time. Her down-to-earth attitude totally fit with our personalities and made us feel fully at ease.
She's relaxed, she gets that not every wedding is the same and there's no "one size fits all" wedding plan. She took a tour of our would-be wedding venue right after we contracted with her - a year out from our wedding date - just to be sure she had a frame of reference when talking with us. She manages to be laid back while also being very organized.
I'm jealous of everybody who actually got to have Meghan at their wedding. I'd absolutely recommend Farrever After Events for wedding coordination.
Meghan was just wonderful. We were lucky enough to get on her calendar a year out from our event, and I'm so glad we had her on our team! Though she was our day-of-coordinator, she was available the full year leading up to the event if we had questions or needed advise on something. She really kicked into gear in the last month of our event, making sure she and our venue had all of the details that they needed to run our day perfectly.
On the day of our event, she was key in keeping us on schedule. She was great at checking in to let us know where we were on time and making sure our bridal party was where we needed them for pictures, etc. At least to our knowledge, the day went off without a hitch! If anything did go wrong, she obviously solved it and made it look perfect to my husband and me.
She was great in taking care of my husband and me on the day. She got us appetizers in the bridal suite since we skipped the cocktail hour and ensured we were treated like royalty at the reception.
She worked well with all of our vendors, so we also didn't notice anything go wrong with their arrival times or setups.
We didn't notice this at all, but one of our wedding party mentioned they would have appreciated if she spoke to the group with more authority and made sure she was heard over the chit chat. That way they had their instructions rather than having to ask for details on what they should be doing. We didn't receive that feedback from any other wedding party members, but I mention it just because we got the feedback. But again, for our perspective, she was pure perfection! We couldn't have had such a wonderful day without her.
We just had our perfect COVID wedding! Meghan was super helpful and easy to work with throughout the process. She listened to our needs, and connected us with the best officiant, photographer, and everything else at a very reasonable price. Originally I was going to plan our wedding myself, but several months into the process and I started to get nervous about how to run a timeline on a day where so much needed to be done. From the second we sat down with Meghan for our initial consultation we knew she was going to make sure everything went well on our wedding day. She responded so quickly to everything, knew several of the other vendors already, and did so much behind the scenes work it decreased our stress level ten-fold. She knew exactly what vibe we were looking for and even reminded me to relax and enjoy the moment. All I can say is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! When looking at venues, we fell in love with the Osprey’s! It’s so beautiful inside and out and just a perfect location right on the water to take the most gorgeous pictures! Our coordinator was Meghan and she was the cherry on top to our whole experience. She was quick to respond to any emails or questions I had and made our wedding day flow smoothly with our timeline that we wanted. Very detailed and is a pro at what she does! She checked in on us, made sure our decor was all in the right place, worked closely with our dj, packed up all of our stuff at the end of the night, you name it she did it! I would 100% recommend her as a coordinator for anyone’s special day! She will make sure to have all your bases covered. Meghan was the planner for our daughter's wedding in July. She was AWESOME! We loved her warm personality and the time she took to make the day so special.
