Francine and Ciara at Feather Sound were an absolute dream team for our wedding! To start off, the venue was absolutely stunning, the food was on another level, and Francine and Ciara made our wedding everything we’ve ever wanted and more! My reception at Feather Sound Country Club was like something out of a dream. Though planning a wedding during a pandemic was hard, Francine was there to help us through the entire thing.

This venue is spectacular and they made our special day stress free. It was our dream wedding and we couldn’t be happier!

We just had our wedding at Feather Sound and LOVED every part of it! Francine and Karina were amazing and helped so much with the wedding details, even though we live nearly 1,000 miles away. They were both there throughout the reception and made sure every detail was in place. Wonderful, friendly people at a gorgeous location. Nearly half of our guests travelled from out of state (and even out of the country), all of whom made comments about how impressed they were with the venue and the space. Would 100% recommend!

I'd give them 10 stars If I could! Francine is the most amazing director ever!!!! Her kindness, attention to detail, professionalism, and friendship did not go un-noticed! She and her team made my wedding go beyond my vision and was the best day ever!!! I was the maid of honor for my friends wedding and she could not have had a greater group of people to work with at Feather Sound. Robin the event coordinator was the most honest, sincere, and amazingly passionate person you could have ever met. Not only was she accommodating to the bride and groom but also to thier friends and families. Robin also showed compassion when we were put in a difficult situation with the passing of a family member. she went out of her way to do the right thing and to help meet the needs of everyone. We could not have asked for a better group of people to work with for a wedding!

Feathersound did a great job with my wedding. They put together a package for me that fit my budget. The food was great and they were very professional.

My husband and I were married in June and had a beautiful reception at Feather Sound Country Club. We are an older couple and decided in February to have our wedding in June. I live in Atlanta and my husband in St Petersburg and had a challenge in planning a long distance wedding. From the moment I inquired about FSCC I knew this was the place for us. My first contact was with Robin and immediately connected with her and found her inviting and she listened to what we were looking for. She said she would make our dream come true and she did! My husband's son and daugther-in- law went to FSCC which Robin had arranged for on the weekend and sent me tons of video to look at it and I just loved the venue and surroundings. They also looked at other areas in St Petersburg but they felt this was the best value and elegant location ! When my husband returned to St Pete, Robin met with him and he knew this was what we wanted. So I booked sight unseen and knew we had the perfect place for us and we found people who cared about our wedding day! There had been a change in menus and cost but Robin and FSCC honored what they had quoted us without hesitation! Thank you! On my Spring Break in April I finally got to go to the venue and meet Robin and staff ,,,so welcoming and helpful... we could have chosen either the restaurant downstairs or ballroom and chose the ballroom. Even tho we had a wedding with family and friends of around 60 Robin assured us it would be elegant and how right she was. At her suggestion the ballroom was set up with one side high tops for appetizers and cocktails and the other side dinner! Lovely is all I can say !!!! Our guests could not say enough of how beautiful the room looked with the setups, dance floor and wedding cake--- great suggestion Robin and Chef Jeff setting it up !! We had asked for a picture table which was displayed so beautifully and all tables had the favors and flower petals we wanted on them arranged fabulously We had a few who had diet restrictions and when we approached FSCC- Robin and Chef Jeff not a problem what can they eat? On our wedding day we had an unbelievable rain storm which delayed our arrival but Chef in his wisdom slowed up on our dinner so we did not feel rushed--- thank you!!! When we arrived we had our bridal room ready for us with beautifully displayed appetizers and knew our guest were enjoying theirs in the Ballroom till we were introduced. Everything went smoothly, toast and dinner served by a amazing staff and bartender to our wedding guests. We had planned on outdoor family pictures but with 3 inches of rain that was a no go BUT our photographer took advantage of all the pretty areas available inside and we have beautiful memories !!! Of course we were having such a great time even tho we were smaller in numbers and we went passed our time but not once were we asked to leave I finally asked everyone it was time as Jeff and the hard working staff needed to go home ! Our overall opinion was a job well done !! My husband who is not the fussy type {like his wife } said when we left it was so beautiful, " I'm glad we did it here ! " We will cherish all the memories we made at FSCC with our family and friends on our wedding day!

It's taken me a while to write this review becuase I am still so upset with the service I received from this venue surrounding my wedding. First of all, let me just say that Chef Jeff is phenominal and went above and beyond for me. The other staff I encountered (not including servers) were terrible. The let go the coordinator a couple months after I booked my wedding. I found out because I received an ellusive email from Robin with a different job title basically asking me who I was and what I had planned on my wedding day. I later found out that she replaced the original coordinator, didn't introduce herself as my new coordinator going forward. I had to put the pieces together myself. Less than two weeks before my wedding, I emailed the contact to ask questions, and she treated me as if I was a brand new bride. To make matters worse, she told me that my wedding day was still available! But, act fast because space was limited. I later found out that she was on vacation and another staff member was on her email. I called to speak to a manager to disucss the fact that I was told my wedding day was still available less than two weeks before my wedding and was treated as if this was not a big deal. The employee, receptionist who answered the phone and GM all told me that he looked at the wrong year on the calendar and not to worry. On the day of my wedding, there were several balls that were dropped. Fist, it rained on and off all day so we were not able to get married outside. In fact, all the outdoor locations were not able to be used due to rain the days leading up to the wedding day. The country club has a major drainage problem. We had to have our ceremony in the cokctai room, which was not a real solution. Our pictures of our ceremony came out terrible because the room was just not a ceremony site and could not be transformed into one. Also, our bar turned into a cash bar at one point in the evening, which was not part of our contract. I found out this from one of my guests weeks after the wedding and was shocked! Also, we had reserved the venue for an additional hour as part of our contract, which was discussed with the original coordinator and then Robin after the change in staff. I was surprised when they tried to make us leave. When I explained that we had an additional hour, I was told that time was for break down, not fot my guests or I to enjoy the venue. They did eventually allow us to stay after I stated this several times and offered to get the contract where it stated this in writing, but it was terrible for me to have to get into this when I was trying to enjoy my wedding day. Chef Jeff carried out everything that he was told to do wonderfuly! The issue was in the communication to Chef Jeff. Robin did not have a clear understanding of what our contract stated. I had to follow up with Robin several times to make sure everything was being taken care of in regards to the wedding instead of her assisting me through the process. Feather Sound Country Club has some major customer service and communication issues. If I knew what I know now, I would not have selected them for my wedding ceremony and reception vendor.

Feather Sound Country Club is a beautiful venue, that needs some major work. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect ceremony location, and the reception space is wonderful. The actual staff at the reception was great, however Sandy Isenhart, their wedding coordinator is the worst of the worst. If there was one thing that ruined my day, and the days to follow, it was her. When my father asked for simple request, she told him "It wasn't her job."This is not the kind of response you should get when you are spending a very large amount of money like we were. With specific instructions regarding the top tier of my wedding cake, it was absolutely ruined when the top of my grooms cake was placed on top. Specific instructions as to where decorations should go including drawings, were not followed. The reception room wasn't even ready before the wedding started thanks to a wedding being booked there the night before ours. I also received a comment from a guest that they have "never noticed a coordinator, more than they noticed her" on our big night. The only time I saw her, she was at the bar.... This is a classy country club that needs to get ahold of a better coordinator. They have potential to be something great with a little work. They also need to make a investment in themselves, including purchasing sufficient BASIC WHITE LINENS, instead of trying to charge each customer for them.

Feather Sound Country Club is absolutely beautiful! It offers great spots for pictures. The food was great but the service was horrible. They served alcohol to minors!!! A lot of things were done to cut corners, there was lack of service and employees to ask questions to and just a big disappointment. I paid a lot of money for this venue and it wasn't worth it. I also had to deal with having one wedding coordinator until a month before my wedding when she left and they hired someone else. Beautiful venue but lack of service and coordination, even after I gave them a schedule was unacceptable.

Our ceremony was held outside on the lawn. The golf course and club house were a stunning backdrop, with the white chairs, landscaping, and floral arrangements as highlights to an already beautiful view. The reception was held upstairs in the grand ballroom. The windows and french doors lead out to a balcony overlooking the course. The staff was lovely, start to finish, especially Jill Mitchell, the event coordinator (who, unfortunately, has since moved to another company). I had several people tell me it was the best wedding food they had ever had! We chose the club because we have been members for years, but I would recommend it to anyone! The price was extremely reasonable and for the product they provide, was an unbelievable bargain. Our wedding was for 150 people, just for reference.

Everyone was real helpful!! John was the best! Very affordable and a beautiful venue!

Feather Sound Country Club was a great place to get married. We worked with Jill and Kal and they were fantastic. They were more then accommodating, anything we needed they made it happen. Feather Sound Country Club was very flexible venue to work with. They let us hang decorations from the ceiling, have a studio booth with props, worked with us in doing an ice cream bar with all the fixings and helped us create a late night snack of french fries with gourmet sauces. We could not of asked for anything better. They are HIGHLY recommend by us. You should book Feather Sound Country Club.
