Chloe was absolutely wonderful to work with for all of our planning needs, and made everything so easy! All of our guests raved about the food, and the gorgeous look of the venue. If we had to get married all over again, we would 100% go with FWB for our reception!

The signature cocktails, along with the extensive selection of wines and beers, were a highlight of and showcased the uniqueness of the venue. The property itself is stunning. Our guests appreciated the variety of spaces, with the option to enjoy the beautiful outdoor patio and gardens or relax indoors in the comfort of air conditioning. The gardens were absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for our photos. While we were fortunate to have beautiful weather, it was reassuring to know that an excellent rain plan was in place. We also greatly appreciated the bridal and groomsmen suites, which created a relaxed and enjoyable environment for the wedding party on the morning of the event. We also had a fantastic rehearsal dinner (with walkthrough led by Robin and Riley!) in the taproom the night before, which was so convenient for the bridal party to see how the day would go/have everything all in one place. Our experience with Fenton Winery and Brewery was nothing short of outstanding. We would choose this venue again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to any couple seeking a seamless and memorable wedding experience.

We also held our rehearsal dinner in the Taproom and it was perfect! Great food and a perfect space for about 40 people. As for wedding day, it truly couldn't have been more perfect, aside from the weather. The FWB team worked like crazy last minute to get our ceremony moved inside for the comfort of us and our guests. While it was not the outdoor, dreamy garden ceremony we were planning on (due to weather), it was still so beautiful and unforgettable. Our guests have been raving about the food and venue! We were so thrilled with our experience with FWB and would do it over and over and over again if we could!

On the day of, they helped with setup and kept everything running smoothly. The food was absolutely amazing—we had the ribs and shrimp scampi, and our guests are still raving about it. One of our favorite little touches was the beautiful outdoor fireplace, which added such a cozy, inviting feel to the evening. We’re so glad we chose this beautiful venue for our big day!

The only downside in our experience is that we were given about a 3.5 week notice about when the food tasting would be. As an out of state couple, we couldn’t justify flights on that short notice (especially since we were just in Michigan the month before), but FWB helped us out and let my parents go in my place! FWB overall made the entire planning process a breeze, and allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams. Our wedding day turned out to be incredibly snowy and we had always envisioned getting married outside in front of the fireplace. Riley made sure we could still do that. She was outside multiple times that day shoveling to make sure we could have our ceremony outside and it was so appreciated. The care and attention to detail they provide for each couple is noticed. No wedding there is the same, but each is amazing because of the team at FWB.

ng it be all inclusive (to avoid hiring multiple outside companies) and having allergen friendly options on the menu and chefs fully understand allergens as I am gluten free. They not only had options but went above and beyond in ensure myself and my guests ate safely and didn’t get sick. A great example was there was a minor mix up of dips during cocktail hour, knowing one of my bridesmaids was gluten free and not being 100% sure if the dip made was gluten free, they made her up a plate of meats and cheese to enjoy! The food was incredible, the venue was beautiful and the staff was caring and attentive to myself, my husband and our families throughout the day. I think the only downside was not being able to utilize the bridal suite due to only having access at 10am and no earlier, but we found an Airbnb to get ready at and got dressed in the gorgeous suite and it worked perfectly! I truly cannot recommend this venue enough or speak high enough about them!

ven my 90-year-old grandmother was impressed! The food was one of the highlights, with many friends and family members raving that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. We participated in a group food tasting, which was a fantastic experience. Everything we tried was so good that it was tough to choose, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with whatever you pick. Our goal was to have an evening filled with great food and drinks with our loved ones - FWB made that easy. We also had a separate bar tasting closer to the wedding date, which allowed us to select the seasonal beer and wine options. It’s definitely worth upgrading from 4/4 beers and wines to 5/5, where you can choose up to two premium options. Our favorite wine was the cocoa merlot — and one of us doesn’t even typically enjoy reds, but that wine totally won us over. The entire process was incredibly low-pressure and stress-free. We didn’t feel the need to add on extra elements, and we were never pressured to do so. The venue was stunning on its own, and while there are plenty of beautiful additions available, we were able to keep it simple and still have a perfect event. One of the big selling points for us was that FWB set up the tables, linens, and chairs exactly as needed, which made the process smooth. We decided to DIY our (very little) decor, so setup and teardown were quick and easy on the day of. The planning meetings were very detailed and helpful, and Robin and Riley were a huge support throughout the process. Whenever we had questions, they were quick to respond and made sure that everything we needed was addressed thoroughly and thoughtfully. We had a winter wedding, and the outdoor heaters running under the awning, paired with the fireplace, created such a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Several of our guests took advantage of the outdoor space just to enjoy it. Another great perk is that guests can visit the taproom next door to buy cocktails or even bottles of wine and beer to take home — something many of ours did! We've become regular visitors ourselves, and throughout every experience at FWB, whether for our wedding or just grabbing a bite to eat, we’ve always found everyone to be kind and thoughtful. If you’re looking for a beautiful, stress-free venue with truly outstanding service, FWB is it. They exceeded every expectation, making our special day unforgettable. We are so lucky to look back on our wedding with only positive reflections and happy planning memories, and we truly wish that for everyone planning their dream day, too.

Especially the rehearsal (thanks Riley!). I’d also like to thank Carly (sp?) and Ginny for their help with both our rehearsal and our wedding day. Truly such a great team, I wish we could get married there every week. The wedding packages are fair and affordable and I felt like we definitely got what we paid for and more. People are still raving to us about how great the food, drinks, ambiance, and staff was at this venue. The selection of apps and entrees is great. Definitely try the mini hot browns, they were a massive hit. The drinks were well loved by our guests as well. All in all, FWB is the place to get married. The staff is top tier, the food and drinks are fantastic, the venue itself is gorgeous, the service is impeccable, and the cost for a midsize wedding (about 120 for us) is beyond reasonable in this day and age. Thank you to the entire FWB events team, especially Robin, Riley, Ginny, and Carly. Our day was perfect because of them!

The only complaint I had was room arrangement. Instead of traditional head table in front of guests they wanted us all to sit at a farm table facing each other with backs to guests which I think was weird but I guess that's on trend now. We compromised a different floor plan but it was more hassle than what it should have been.

The service staff was great. The event coordinator was fantastic pre-planning emails and meetings and during the event! She really helped everything go smoothly! The space was perfect and not over-crowded for our 100 guests. People hung out inside to dance and chat around tables or stood out on the patio for some fresh air.

lls truly bring the space to life and we were super happy with their new greenery photo op spot. From the first tour to the wedding day the staff (Robin & Riley especially) was responsive, kind, respectful, and helpful. They were also transparent about pricing. The day ran very smooth thanks to their staff and their ability to work so well with our outside vendors. It even rained, but they made our outdoor ceremony work and worked quickly to move tables/games when it did start pouring. The food was INCREDIBLE - our guests raved about how delicious everything was (including the late night pizza!). We did buffet style and it was seamless. Feedback (truly being nit-picky here): Rehearsal Dinner: We booked our rehearsal dinner in the barrel room the night before and selected the steak and mushroom ravioli for dinner. The food was just okay and the service was also okay. Unfortunately, I don't think they were staffed for our party of 25 & a Friday night dinner rush in the restaurant. They did their best, but it did take a long time (20+ min) for us to get our drink orders. Food Tasting: They offer a few food tastings a year and luckily added one last minute that we could attend. We were disappointed in the quality of the food and it made us really nervous about the food for our wedding. The salmon was very over done and a lot of the dishes were lacking in flavor. We think the food may have been sitting under a heater for an extended period, because the food we had on our wedding day was amazing. Beer/Wine Tasting: We did a beer and wine tasting after our final planning meeting and it was disappointing. We were expecting to taste flights, but instead it was a very tiny sip of everything (not enough to truly taste it). The bartender we had was also underage, so he couldn't give us any feedback or recommendations. He just read off a sheet. We would recommend visiting the restaurant close to your wedding and ordering flights instead. Bridal Suite: You are not able to access the bridal suite (or groom suite/venue) any earlier than 10am, which made our getting ready plans difficult to piece together. We are from out of town, so our options were limited in where to get ready. We ended up starting H&M promptly at 10 but more time would have been way better. Though, having access to the suite all night and a private bathroom was great. Cocktail Hour: We didn't know until 30 days before that if we served apps, cocktail hour had to be 90 min vs 60 min. This caused us a little panic since we had to shift our timeline, but it worked out. We also didn't have enough apps (family who stuck around for photos and ourselves didn't get to try anything hot). So order more than you think you need. Mixed drink offerings: The drinks were very weak and they couldn't accommodate for double pours. Most of our guests switched to beer or wine pretty quickly. Settling Up: We had an open tab on our wedding day for our wedding party to order lunch and drinks throughout the day. This made FWB a bit nervous and we had to close the tab early since they weren't equipped to keep track of wedding guests. We understood! We just had wanted to keep it open in case someone close to us wanted something our open bar didn't offer. Overall: 9.5/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

l. Especially towards the end! I worked the majority of the time with Robin and that woman had everything together! When it was a week or 2 out the amount of emails I sent and questions I had was insane, and she answered every single one with zero issue or complaint. They had to adjust quite a few things off and on and they did it without a second thought. There were quite a few times that I had no idea what I was doing and they were there with suggestions and to gently lead me along. I can honestly not say enough good things about them personally again, especially Robin, she was such a joy to work with! But then there was the actual venue, it is absolutely beautiful! And all of my guests were RAVING about the food. It was literally the best day ever, thank you FWB 💛

I knew, is although it does say it includes a wedding coordinator with the venue, GET YOUR OWN COORDINATOR. They were very nice, but our wedding coordinator didn’t help with anything other than putting the chairs out and linen on the table. She didn’t help with the vendors or moving things along for the day. Other than that, I would still go with this venue again just having my own coordinator for the day!

Beautiful outdoor ceremony locations, gorgeous natural greenery for photography backdrops, bride and groom rooms to use as "get ready" spaces, and a strong team of employees who made sure our day went as planned! And can we talk about the food, our guests were RAVING about the delicious meal that was provided (do yourself a favor and add the mushroom ravioli to your MUST HAVE list!) Plus, how special to be able to serve drinks made by the venue! New to the Fenton area, our wedding was our first experience at FWB, but it for sure will not be our last. We are excited to visit and give them our business on a regular basis.

Far less planning and coordination of vendors, which just reduced our stress level and let us enjoy the days leading up to our wedding. A couple areas to note are that the timeframe for set-up can be short if there is an event prior to yours, which may be difficult to manage. Determine all these details and ask questions for clarification. Also, although the staff was friendly and helpful, there was not a wedding coordinator present the day of as promised. My only complaint is that I wish we could have stayed all night…the reception was amazing, but it all just went by so fast :) Highly recommend FWB for any events and for a great place to grab some pizza and brews!
