Fern Croft Floral

I’ve always admired Ferncroft’s work on social media, but working with Erin for my wedding left me disappointed in the business. I met with her almost a year in advance prior to the wedding day. I was hoping for some guidance to get a good expectation of what to do and what I’d be spending. We talked about ideas, but it was very hard to envision things like how large bouquets would be, or what the ceremony statement piece would look like as she did not use reference photos. I understand it was pretty far in advance, but Erin didn’t want to discuss things again until 1 month out. That was stressful, because I wasn’t sure what I’d be getting in terms of pieces (centerpieces, accent arrangements, etc) or flowers up until that point. I actually was never told what flowers would be used, although she used photos I found for inspiration. We had our 1 month appointment, and I left the venue in tears. I felt like Erin wasn’t listening to me in terms of what I wanted, and had ideas of her own she insisted on doing. I had to email her after the experience to express how out of line I felt she was, and she ended up following my vision. Then the day came, and while I was overall happy with the flowers, there were some disappointing factors. Like how she used carnations, which is a flower I hate. Or that one of the main flowers of my bouquet was really wilted (which I didn’t notice until photos were already taken). I’ve planned another wedding before, and in comparison, I felt Ferncroft was overpriced for what I got. Maybe if I loved the flowers, I would think differently. I did order a bouquet from Erin back in 2013 and absolutely loved it. But in general, the service aspect is really lacking.

I worked with Erin Lalley of Fern Croft Floral on a recent wedding and absolutely love her work. Her floristry is beautiful, modern, and unique. As a wedding and event planner, I've worked with many florists over the years and Fern Croft is truly one of the best. Her arrangements are so carefully put together and really look like works of art. She makes it look easy, but a lot of time and skill is required to make the unique arrangements that she creates. On the day of the wedding, she arrived early and took great care to make sure the florals were all as beautiful as possible. We were looking for a true artist to create stunning, organic arrangements and were absolutely thrilled with the work Fern Croft Floral did on our wedding. Fern Croft did an exceptional job capturing the feel of our wedding in in their floral work. When I saw the bouquets the day of the ceremony, I actually cried because they were so beautiful.
