She took our vision and made it a reality, making the physical space appear even better than we imagined. She even stayed until the very end of our after party on the wedding night to make sure everything went perfectly! Because of the whole team— wonderful servers, bartenders, chefs, in addition to our coordinators, we had so much fun at our wedding! Our guests continue to rave about the venue and the food. To top it off, the spaces both indoor and outdoor were beautiful. We would recommend Ferncroft to anyone without reservation.

Elisa did an excellent job coordinating our wedding guests various dietary restrictions (of which there were many) and helping with table and decor setup and breakdown on the special day. Having a kitchen with talented kitchen staff and delicious food was an important part of a wedding venue to us, and the Ferncroft certainly delivered! Their customizable options were all very tasty and at no point did we feel like we had to settle for something less than delicious or something that we didn't want because it wasn't available. The venue itself was very pretty, and had several separate spaces within the venue, allowing ourselves and our guests to experience the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in the same place. That said, each space still felt unique and allowed us to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony, a lovely rooftop cocktail hour, and a picturesque indoor reception that was exactly what we imagined. Would very much recommend working with the Ferncroft Country Club (and Heather and Elisa in particular) for a wedding for anyone looking at combination ceremony and reception spaces in the area!

My emails went unanswered for a few weeks at a time and I also emailed over this review at the end of September, got a response saying that they would be back in contact to discuss, and today 10/18, I still haven't heard back. The Wednesday before my Saturday wedding (so 3 days prior) was when I finally got a phone call to discuss my wedding details. I had to ask my questions all over again from my emails. For our rehearsal we met Sue, our coordinator for our rehearsal and for our wedding the next day. She was SO attentive and detail oriented. Things to keep in the back of your mind: We highly recommend to take your decor with you that night if you really want to make sure you get it all back even though it’s a lot of work. Here is why: we were the last two people to leave that night except for the staff and we saw what favors were left (gym themed wedding so we gave out protein bars). The next morning when we arrived to gather everything, we noticed that there were only a handful of protein bars left, not nearly as many as there were when we left Ferncroft 8 hours before- kind of bummed as we were excited to bring the remaining on our honeymoon the next day. This was very minor but still didn’t sit well with us. We had guests with food allergies, when I checked in with them a few days after the wedding about how their meals were they said all their meals were brought out like the regular meals and they had to remind the staff of their allergies. Gluten free salads still got croutons; dairy free salads still got the caesar dressing. I highlighted all allergies with notes on my list of guest meals that I emailed to Ferncroft and it seems like allergies weren’t of concern unless the guest spoke up. We did get many compliments that it was the biggest steak people have ever seen at a wedding and all the passed apps were amazing. My last complaint, our cutting cake was allergy friendly, it was a smallish cake as we had cupcakes for our guests. I told our coordinator that after we cut the cake, there were maybe 4 guests that need a piece, please don't put it out on the dessert table since I want to bring the leftovers home. Come to find out NONE of our guests with allergies got any of our cutting cake. We cut the cake, took pictures, fed each other a bite and then our cake was brought back to the kitchen where I assumed it was going to get cut for the few guests and packaged for me to take home. I even went to our table a few minutes after that looking for a slice to be at my seat and there was nothing. I didn’t even think to ask about it before leaving that night and didn’t think about it the next morning picking our things up either until I was home and started to ask if my guests got a piece thinking maybe everyone got a piece so there was none left for me to take home. NONE of our guests with allergies got a piece of our cutting cake, I didn't get more than a bite from our cutting cake, and I didn't get any to take home. So, either my expensive allergy friendly cutting cake got tossed in the trash or the kitchen staff helped themselves. This is not me thinking the staff doesn’t deserve a thank you, but this really upset me that they more than likely helped themselves to our left-over favors and also more than likely helped themselves to our cutting cake.

ize either their rooftop deck or Jones room. We decided on the Jones room (indoor space with AC) leading out to a large outdoor deck. We invited 190 guests and ended up with 160 which was perfect. The ballroom is very spacious and could have easily accommodated over 200! When touring other venues, it became clear that many advertise an ability to “accommodate" way more guests than most would consider “comfortable.” Our guests are still raving about the food. The filets & chicken were cooked to perfection. Passed hor d’oeuvres, salads, sides, and dessert were all phenomenal. The food far exceeded our expectations right down to the late night pizza which was included in the package we chose. I genuinely cannot say enough about our event manager, Elisa. She was an absolute pleasure to work with every step of the way. Elisa was incredibly professional, informative, organized, and friendly. She responded to all of our inquiries in a timely manner, maintained flawless communication with our vendors, and was so kind to us. My mother fractured her leg a few months prior to our wedding landing her in a wheelchair for weeks. Elisa graciously included her in everything as we toured, tasted, and viewed the space to visualize décor. That may seem trivial but the patience, upbeat spirit, and warmth exhibited by the Ferncroft’s staff in accommodating mom made all the difference in the world to us. Alli K. was an absolutely gem as well. She assisted Elisa leading up to our event, worked diligently behind the scenes to facilitate details, and was a comforting presence the day-of. Alli is an organized, personable, caring professional. She went above and beyond to ensure that all of our questions were answered, things ran smoothly, and our experience was a positive one. The entire staff was incredible right “down” to the bartender Sue who was friendly, funny yet professional, and exceptionally kind. She went out of her to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Sue personally introduced herself to us in the parking lot as we were leaving the grounds one day. She took the time to ask us when our event was, what our favorite drinks were, if we wanted to include a signature drink (gave us recommendations), etc. Sue is a true asset to the Ferncroft staff. There is a DoubleTree Hotel 1 mile from the club. The hotel was clean, reasonably priced, and has bar spaces for an after party. We had a church ceremony and booked a room block there. By coordinating times, using a nearby church, offering convenient accommodations, and providing a shuttle, our wedding wasn’t one of those drawn out, all-day long affairs. You know the suburban ones requiring lengthy drives with hours spent killing time at random bars in between ceremonies and receptions? If you want to have your ceremony off site and have guests coming from out of town, it is totally doable.If you are debating whether or not to book your wedding at the Ferncroft Country Club, here is my advice to you: just do it! The Ferncroft Country Club offers an elegant yet comfortable and spacious venue. It's finally manicured grounds, gorgeous flowers, deck spaces, and luscious greens offer a perfect backdrop. Tack on exceptional cuisine, an affordable price point that doesn’t require sacrificing quality, and a 5-star staff.

Elisa recommended 2 outside vendors as well and I was very pleased with their services as well. I would highly recommend this facility. It was clean, the staff knew their business and they were very accommodating and helpful.

There is a deck all along the front side of the room which you can access from French doors all along the wall. Fortunately for us the weather was just beautiful and we were able to enjoy this great outdoor space as well to spill out onto and take some outdoor photos. My initial contact was with Heather who provided details of what the venue had to offer, booking the event and handling the contract. After I booked the venue, all of my communication was with Elisa the event coordinator and she was fantastic!! She was extremely responsive via email (or when requested through a phone call or in person meeting) and was patient and kind with all of my questions, requests and indecisiveness. There are set menus to choose from, but they are also very accommodating to customize or mix and match. The food was very good and all of my guests were impressed and happy! The day went smoothly and my daughter loved it! I would not hesitate to recommend the Ferncroft to any of my friends…they were great!

The whole venue was beautiful and we loved all of the pictures we were able to go out and take on the golf course. We dropped off décor/centerpieces the night before and I explained to Elisa our vision and she made the room even more beautiful than we had imagined. Elisa is extremely responsive, relatable and empathetic and passionate about her job and it showed every step of the way. We had this event paid for in full last year and were able to allocate every dollar paid toward this event to food/drink as we had a reduced guest count. They even boxed up leftover desserts for us at the end! The 3 years this ended up being planned for was well worth the wait in the end. Ferncroft is a beautiful venue with a great catering department and I would highly recommend them for any type of event.

Stressful would be an understatement when planning a wedding during Covid but the months and weeks before of constant communication made our lives easier and she was a true pro when it came to planning a wedding celebration. A lot of guests came up to us saying how delicious the food was and how nice the servers/staff were during the event. A total team effort by the Ferncroft that made our day so special. It is a fantastic venue for a wedding celebration and I know we will recommend it to people as a venue if they are looking for a spot. The venue has a lot to offer in terms of indoor and outdoor space which works very well for a Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Pictures, and the Reception. Our event was for 27 people, was held in the Jones room, and entailed the use of the contiguous deck area. Everything was well laid out, obviously planned well, and ran smoothly. The food was fantastic--lambchop appetizers are highly recommended. The chef prepared all items impeccably, and the buffet was perfectly established in both form and content. My billing was clear and accurate. It was a pleasure to have hosted this event at Ferncroft Country Club, and we are grateful to the staff for having made this a memorable aspect to our celebratory weekend.

ugh the entire process. She made sure every detail was handled from the first, incredibly detailed inquiry email to the follow up email with a special picture of my daughter and nephew. Our guests had, and still have, glowing reviews of her staff, the room set up, the outrageously good food, and ceremony and reception flow, and especially the kindness she showed to EVERY guest. Donna and her staff were accommodating, flexible, and generous were their time and expertise. There were plenty of beautiful locations for photos and the ceremony. Every single detail was perfectly mastered. The entire staff looked calm and relaxed. There was never a moment of panic or rushing. Donna seemed to be in every place, at every moment. My husband and I snuck away immediately after the ceremony to share a plate of hors d’oeuvres in the grooms suite (I can’t recommend this enough. Do this! Take 5 minutes to sit in the quiet and relax together.) At one point during outdoor pictures I commented to my daughter, “I didn’t eat enough.” BAM! Food. Hors d’oeuvres on a plate, with Donna holding a napkin. She took care of everything! Everything was perfect! Thank you so much for putting together a magical experience!

staff at Ferncroft. I had worked with various coordinators over the year and half, because someone left, someone was covering, and each person was great to work with. The coordinators made sure to continue the conversation as if they were the initial ones to have it with me. Emails were kept and correspondence was easily handed to each coordinator, and something that one mentioned was confirmed by the others. Lisa ended up being our final coordinator and she was great from start to finish, really made sure everything was set for me. The food at the tasting was phenomenal, and we knew we picked a great venue at that moment. The cocktail hour on the roof would have been a nice place; however, due to rain we were inside. The inside room was a nice setup and it worked nicely as a plan B to accommodate our guests. It had hardwood paneling on the walls with tables for my guests and two bar setup. When we looked at the venues, plan B was important because in NE weather could change. Food and service day of were great, we felt like royalty and I didn't have to worry about anything, which for me is huge being planner. I felt relaxed and they did a great job from setup, to managing time, to dinner (huge plus for managing allergies and table restrictions correctly and appropriately), they were truly amazing with everything they did. Thank you for working with Dennis and I to ensure our day was wonderful!

We had all sorts of decorations and special things set up and they did so great with that. Donna, Lisa, and Jenny did such a great job making our day magical. Also everyone said the food was great! The guests had prime rib and chicken saltimbocca. My husband and I were too busy taking pictures and visiting with people to eat much.

Everyone raved about the food, it was absolutely delicious. Donna is awesome as well, she helped carry my veil the day off, before the ceremony, and that personalized attention was wonderful to have. Lisa accommodated everything, and I could not thank her enough for such a wonderful day. Highly recommend this venue, Juan and I had the most perfect wedding day here. Best decision ever!!!!

She checked in with us multiple times throughout the reception and answered all our questions while planning the wedding. All the staff were so wonderful, especially our waitress Pam. She brought drinks and hors d'oeuvres to the wedding party and families outside while we took pictures during cocktail hours and took such amazing care of us (bride and groom) during the whole reception! The venue is beautiful, the food is amazing, the staff are helpful and friendly... if you're looking for a venue for your wedding, you need to look at the Ferncroft Country Club!
