Ferncroft Country Club

The grounds are beautifully manicured, staff members are incredibly friendly, and clubhouse has an upscale feel minus a stuffy, “snobby” atmosphere. For cocktail hour, you can utilize either their rooftop deck or Jones room. We decided on the Jones room (indoor space with AC) leading out to a large outdoor deck. We invited 190 guests and ended up with 160 which was perfect. The ballroom is very spacious and could have easily accommodated over 200! When touring other venues, it became clear that many advertise an ability to “accommodate" way more guests than most would consider “comfortable.” Our guests are still raving about the food. The filets & chicken were cooked to perfection. Passed hor d’oeuvres, salads, sides, and dessert were all phenomenal. The food far exceeded our expectations right down to the late night pizza which was included in the package we chose. I genuinely cannot say enough about our event manager, Elisa. She was an absolute pleasure to work with every step of the way. Elisa was incredibly professional, informative, organized, and friendly. She responded to all of our inquiries in a timely manner, maintained flawless communication with our vendors, and was so kind to us. My mother fractured her leg a few months prior to our wedding landing her in a wheelchair for weeks. Elisa graciously included her in everything as we toured, tasted, and viewed the space to visualize décor. That may seem trivial but the patience, upbeat spirit, and warmth exhibited by the Ferncroft’s staff in accommodating mom made all the difference in the world to us. Alli K. was an absolutely gem as well. She assisted Elisa leading up to our event, worked diligently behind the scenes to facilitate details, and was a comforting presence the day-of. Alli is an organized, personable, caring professional. She went above and beyond to ensure that all of our questions were answered, things ran smoothly, and our experience was a positive one. The entire staff was incredible right “down” to the bartender Sue who was friendly, funny yet professional, and exceptionally kind. She went out of her to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Sue personally introduced herself to us in the parking lot as we were leaving the grounds one day. She took the time to ask us when our event was, what our favorite drinks were, if we wanted to include a signature drink (gave us recommendations), etc. Sue is a true asset to the Ferncroft staff. There is a DoubleTree Hotel 1 mile from the club. The hotel was clean, reasonably priced, and has bar spaces for an after party. We had a church ceremony and booked a room block there. By coordinating times, using a nearby church, offering convenient accommodations, and providing a shuttle, our wedding wasn’t one of those drawn out, all-day long affairs. You know the suburban ones requiring lengthy drives with hours spent killing time at random bars in between ceremonies and receptions? If you want to have your ceremony off site and have guests coming from out of town, it is totally doable.If you are debating whether or not to book your wedding at the Ferncroft Country Club, here is my advice to you: just do it! The Ferncroft Country Club offers an elegant yet comfortable and spacious venue. It's finally manicured grounds, gorgeous flowers, deck spaces, and luscious greens offer a perfect backdrop. Tack on exceptional cuisine, an affordable price point that doesn’t require sacrificing quality, and a 5-star staff.

I held my daughter’s bridal shower at Ferncroft CC last week. Elisa and her staff did an amazing job! I am from out of town. They took care of everything and the day was perfect. Elisa recommended 2 outside vendors as well and I was very pleased with their services as well. I would highly recommend this facility. It was clean, the staff knew their business and they were very accommodating and helpful.

I recently hosted my daughter’s bridal shower at TheFerncroft Country Club in the Jones room which is the room on the left as you first enter the building. It is actually 2 rooms together with a partition between if you had a smaller event. The space was perfect for us! There is a deck all along the front side of the room which you can access from French doors all along the wall. Fortunately for us the weather was just beautiful and we were able to enjoy this great outdoor space as well to spill out onto and take some outdoor photos. My initial contact was with Heather who provided details of what the venue had to offer, booking the event and handling the contract. After I booked the venue, all of my communication was with Elisa the event coordinator and she was fantastic!! She was extremely responsive via email (or when requested through a phone call or in person meeting) and was patient and kind with all of my questions, requests and indecisiveness. There are set menus to choose from, but they are also very accommodating to customize or mix and match. The food was very good and all of my guests were impressed and happy! The day went smoothly and my daughter loved it! I would not hesitate to recommend the Ferncroft to any of my friends…they were great!

Found that this venue didn’t respond as quickly as other venues when reaching out to tour the venue and speak with someone in person. Requested an estimate after viewing the venue and after a week of requesting the info, it was never sent. Considering this, it would have made me hesitant to book with them for my wedding given the delayed communication.

We just had our wedding at the Ferncroft Country Club this past weekend and had the most amazing experience. The planning process was seamless - our coordinator Elisa helped us every step of the way and was very on top of answering emails and questions even in the late hours of the night. She was extremely accommodating with all of our needs and requests around food, the forecast, and other aspects of the day and truly helped relieve a lot of the stress of planning a wedding. All of our guests raved about the food and the cocktail hour on the rooftop deck was amazing. The whole venue was beautiful and we loved all of the pictures we were able to go out and take on the golf course. We are so grateful for the amazing experience we had and can not thank the whole team at the Ferncroft Country Club enough for making our day simply perfect!

Many venues provide a beautiful setting with great food but what sets Ferncroft apart is Elisa, the in house event coordinator. She thought of every detail, worked with our vendors and when any challenge came up she partnered with me to find a solution. The day was seamless and beautiful.

We have had our daughter’s bridal shower, our son’s wedding, a rehearsal dinner, a 50th birthday party, and now this past weekend, we had our daughter’s baby shower – all in the beautiful Jones Room. We cannot say enough about these functions and the servers and coordinators who have worked with us to make them all the events of our dreams. Everyone is so professional, and we have been so proud to have our guests treated so wonderfully, and to have the menus and special options be out of this world. We will not hesitate to hold future events at the Ferncroft Country Club. We have never had to worry about a single detail!

The Jones Room at the the Ferncroft Country Club was a wonderful place to host the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. Such a beautiful location and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Elisa was also quick to respond with any question that I had beforehand and the event ran so smoothly. The food was great, too! Would highly recommend!

I have to say the Ferncroft was absolutely amazing for my sons first holy communion. Elisa was awesome and so helpful . She would quickly respond to my emails and was extremely flexible with time etc. The food was delicious and the staff were very professional. I would definitely recommend the Ferncroft for ones next event.

I absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. We had our wedding of 60 people here on 11/7/21 and I couldn’t be happier. The wait staff were kind, attentive, and professional; the food was AMAZING, and the grounds are so beautiful it was the perfect fall backdrop for a lovely day. Elisa, the venue’s event coordinator, was a dream to work with and was so responsive, accommodating, and patient throughout the entire planning process (which, in a pandemic, has its challenges). She then truly went above and beyond with all the details of our day. Elisa not only executed our vision to perfection, but exceeded all expectations I could have had. Her experience in event planning is evident, as this day could not have gone any smoother or felt any easier. Our guests have continued to reach out and comment on what an incredible job this place did…..You will not find a more delicious, beautiful, flexible, affordable, and easy to work with venue on the north shore!

We had to postpone our reception last year due to COVID and used the postponed event to celebrate our 1 year anniversary AND baby shower combo event this past weekend. Elisa and team did an excellent job. Our guests are still raving about the food! We dropped off décor/centerpieces the night before and I explained to Elisa our vision and she made the room even more beautiful than we had imagined. Elisa is extremely responsive, relatable and empathetic and passionate about her job and it showed every step of the way. We had this event paid for in full last year and were able to allocate every dollar paid toward this event to food/drink as we had a reduced guest count. They even boxed up leftover desserts for us at the end! The 3 years this ended up being planned for was well worth the wait in the end. Ferncroft is a beautiful venue with a great catering department and I would highly recommend them for any type of event.

She ensured that everything went smoothly with our vendors, wait staff, and guests. Our wedding day at the Ferncroft was truly the best day. The scenery is beautiful and we definitely got a great value for the price in comparison to other local venues. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding!

We had the most perfect day with family and friends after pushing back our wedding a year because of Covid. It was certainly worth the wait! Heather was awesome to work with and made everything so easy on us that we didnt have to worry about anything on the day. Stressful would be an understatement when planning a wedding during Covid but the months and weeks before of constant communication made our lives easier and she was a true pro when it came to planning a wedding celebration. A lot of guests came up to us saying how delicious the food was and how nice the servers/staff were during the event. A total team effort by the Ferncroft that made our day so special. It is a fantastic venue for a wedding celebration and I know we will recommend it to people as a venue if they are looking for a spot. The venue has a lot to offer in terms of indoor and outdoor space which works very well for a Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Pictures, and the Reception. A BIG Thanks to Heather, Christina, and the whole Ferncroft staff for making it the best day! We appreciate everything!

We recently hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner at Ferncroft Country Club that far exceeded expectations. From planning it, through to the event's conclusion, I could not be more pleased about the staff's professionalism. This held true for event management staff, the wait staff and attendants, and bar staff. Our event was for 27 people, was held in the Jones room, and entailed the use of the contiguous deck area. Everything was well laid out, obviously planned well, and ran smoothly. The food was fantastic--lambchop appetizers are highly recommended. The chef prepared all items impeccably, and the buffet was perfectly established in both form and content. My billing was clear and accurate. It was a pleasure to have hosted this event at Ferncroft Country Club, and we are grateful to the staff for having made this a memorable aspect to our celebratory weekend.

The Ferncroft helped to provide everything we wanted for our special day! The venue was perfect for us because of the beautiful options for the ceremony and cocktail hour to take place either indoors or outdoors. The food was absolutely delicious! The staff, especially Donna and Lisa, were there to make sure everything went off without a hitch! We couldn’t be happier!

My husband and I are still on cloud 9 from our wedding at Ferncroft last month. From start to finish, Donna and Lisa are a dream team to work with. They are both so attentive and open minded. They really listen to what you want from decor, to the vibe, to the pacing, and make it a complete reality. We had our ceremony outside next to the clubhouse, our cocktail hour on the roof deck, and our reception in the ballroom, and all 3 locations were beautiful. Lisa was so accommodating, and made both of our families feel completely comfortable and at home. She was there from start to finish, and made sure everything went off without a hitch. We, along with our guests, had SO much fun and wish we could do it all over again!!

The Ferncroft was a beautiful setting for our out of town wedding. But the real star of the venue is Donna. Donna played planner, designer, coordinator, and the kindest friend through the entire process. She made sure every detail was handled from the first, incredibly detailed inquiry email to the follow up email with a special picture of my daughter and nephew. Our guests had, and still have, glowing reviews of her staff, the room set up, the outrageously good food, and ceremony and reception flow, and especially the kindness she showed to EVERY guest. Donna and her staff were accommodating, flexible, and generous were their time and expertise. There were plenty of beautiful locations for photos and the ceremony. Every single detail was perfectly mastered. The entire staff looked calm and relaxed. There was never a moment of panic or rushing. Donna seemed to be in every place, at every moment. My husband and I snuck away immediately after the ceremony to share a plate of hors d’oeuvres in the grooms suite (I can’t recommend this enough. Do this! Take 5 minutes to sit in the quiet and relax together.) At one point during outdoor pictures I commented to my daughter, “I didn’t eat enough.” BAM! Food. Hors d’oeuvres on a plate, with Donna holding a napkin. She took care of everything! Everything was perfect! Thank you so much for putting together a magical experience!

The Ferncroft Country Club was a fantastic venue. They also helped to host our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. We loved the food and everything worked out perfectly! Our guests had a blast!!

From tour of the venue until the night of our wedding. Incredible. I cannot say enough amazing things to say about the Ferncroft. Donna and Lisa are two of the friendliest, patient, understanding and EASIEST people to work with. We also had our rehearsal dinner there. Just such a perfect place to host your wedding. And did I mention the food?!? UNREAL. The chefs did everything to accommodate myself and my guests with dietary restrictions. I would recommend the Ferncroft for ANY event, not just a wedding!! I felt that this is a great place to get married, because not only is it reasonable with pricing, but it's also service that cannot compare. I never had any doubt or worry with my staff at Ferncroft. I had worked with various coordinators over the year and half, because someone left, someone was covering, and each person was great to work with. The coordinators made sure to continue the conversation as if they were the initial ones to have it with me. Emails were kept and correspondence was easily handed to each coordinator, and something that one mentioned was confirmed by the others. Lisa ended up being our final coordinator and she was great from start to finish, really made sure everything was set for me. The food at the tasting was phenomenal, and we knew we picked a great venue at that moment. The cocktail hour on the roof would have been a nice place; however, due to rain we were inside. The inside room was a nice setup and it worked nicely as a plan B to accommodate our guests. It had hardwood paneling on the walls with tables for my guests and two bar setup. When we looked at the venues, plan B was important because in NE weather could change. Food and service day of were great, we felt like royalty and I didn't have to worry about anything, which for me is huge being planner. I felt relaxed and they did a great job from setup, to managing time, to dinner (huge plus for managing allergies and table restrictions correctly and appropriately), they were truly amazing with everything they did. Thank you for working with Dennis and I to ensure our day was wonderful!

Just had my wedding here. It was so beautiful. They were so accommodating with all of our questions and visits to the venue. We originally planned a wedding in two weeks and they were able to get us a room. We postponed due to a death in the family and they let us postpone without a fee. The rooftop and ballroom were so beautiful. We had all sorts of decorations and special things set up and they did so great with that. Donna, Lisa, and Jenny did such a great job making our day magical. Also everyone said the food was great! The guests had prime rib and chicken saltimbocca. My husband and I were too busy taking pictures and visiting with people to eat much.

Perfect venue, awesome food, beautiful, and could not have had a better day. Lisa is a dream to work with, and she has helped me with everything throughout the way and helped me plan a dream wedding. The venue looked amazing the day of, ceremony in the Jones Room, and reception in the Robert-Scott was perfect. Beautiful space that was transformed to this rustic paradise. Everyone raved about the food, it was absolutely delicious. Donna is awesome as well, she helped carry my veil the day off, before the ceremony, and that personalized attention was wonderful to have. We were thrilled with our choice to get married at Ferncroft CC. The venue was beautiful, the staff was extremely professional, punctual, and responsive. The food was amazing. We have had tons of raving reviews from our guests on what a great wedding it was. They made our wedding day so easy for us, so that we could just enjoy it. We got married outside, had the cocktail hour on the roof deck, and had the reception in the ballroom. There are tons of beautiful options to take great pictures. I have no complaints! I would highly recommend Ferncroft Country Club to anyone looking for a great wedding venue.

I did not book my wedding here, however, they gave me a tour without an appointment. My mom and I showed up because we were in the area and they came down and gave the whole tour. It was raining but the area around still looked beautiful and the prices were very fair considering how much they have to offer.

We had our small wedding dinner here last weekend and absolutely loved it! From working with Julie on the details beforehand, to the room itself, to the food, everything was perfect and we were so happy! The dinner was delicious (many guests mentioned this to us too). I highly recommend having your wedding at this venue, we were very happy with our choice. They were very accommodating and Julie was the best! She made it easy, which is what we were looking for. We absolutely loved this venue! The rooftop deck for cocktail hour was beautiful. All the guests were able to look over the golf course as we took pictures during cocktail hour. Multiple guests told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had and we completely agree! The wedding coordinator Julie was amazing. She checked in with us multiple times throughout the reception and answered all our questions while planning the wedding. All the staff were so wonderful, especially our waitress Pam. She brought drinks and hors d'oeuvres to the wedding party and families outside while we took pictures during cocktail hours and took such amazing care of us (bride and groom) during the whole reception! The venue is beautiful, the food is amazing, the staff are helpful and friendly... if you're looking for a venue for your wedding, you need to look at the Ferncroft Country Club!

We thoroughly enjoyed our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception at Ferncroft Country Club. My husband and I just got married here on 8/27/16. We had our ceremony and reception here and it was amazing! Kim (wedding coordinator) was there to help us with every step of the way and kept it stress free. The new ballroom and rooftop deck are great additions and perfect for any wedding. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour on the rooftop and moved into the ballroom for our reception. Everyone had a great time and also commented on how good the food was. Kim kept the night moving smoothly and everything was timed perfectly. Everything got done and people danced the night away! It was a perfect night and I definitely recommend everyone to go look at the new additions for their wedding. It is amazing!

Ferncroft Country Club and their staff did an amazing job planning our wedding. Kim and her team were very resourceful and accommodating to our requests. We were not local to the area and she had a list of vendors ready and literally made the vision we had for our wedding come true. Everything from the linen rentals, to the tent rental, to coordinating with vendors was taken care of by the staff of Ferncroft. Pricing is reasonable for the professional service that our guests and we experienced. On our wedding day I was at ease and that’s all a bride can ask for on her wedding day. NOT one detail was missed by the staff of Ferncroft. We highly suggest going through Ferncroft Country Club. Thanks again to the staff of Ferncroft for making our BIG day stressless, memorable and most of all enjoyable.
