Jessica stepped in and helped us find vendors, finalize details and make sure our day went perfectly. One the day of the wedding made sure we did not have to worry about anything and dealt with the small issues that came up. We highly recommend Jessica!

Jessica Gentry was my day of wedding coordinator and she was so easy, calm, sweet, and made sure my husband and I were good the entire night! My guests kept telling me how on point she was on the timeline! Highly recommend!

We worked with Jessica from Finishing Touch to plan our wedding and can’t recommend her enough. She was kind, patient and knowledgeable, guiding us through a completely unfamiliar process and answering all our questions. She was able to provide her recommendations and insight while making sure the day still felt like “us.” She anticipated everything. The day itself was beautiful. Booking Finish Touch for month-of coordination for our wedding was easily the best decision we made during the entire planning process. We are both pretty Type-A people so we were happy to do the research and plan ourselves, but having Taylor and her team come in a few weeks before our actual wedding to take over and run the show was a lifesaver. We started about 8 weeks before the wedding and had a super in-depth call with Taylor about the details of the day, which included her asking us questions we hadn't even considered. It was abundantly clear that she knew what she was doing and we immediately felt confident that our wedding was in safe hands. The week of, Taylor confirmed our timeline (and graciously made a few last minute adjustments we requested), reminded us of any last-minute to-dos, and reassured us the weekend was shaping up perfectly. On the day of our wedding, Taylor arrived right on time and began setting everything up for us. In addition to the meticulous planning and organization, she also clearly has an eye for making things beautiful, and she really brought our vision to life. Throughout the evening, she (and her team) made sure everything flowed perfectly. She made sure everything was set up exactly like we planned, she helped everyone enter at the right time during the ceremony, and she made sure we had food, drinks, and whatever we needed all night. She helped pack up our cars at the end of the night, she bustled my dress after the ceremony, and most notably, when I broke the bustle on my dress, she helped put 20 safety pins in to keep it secure all night. Taylor really went above and beyond for us and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone getting married in Houston!!

Booking Lisa as my full-planner was hands down the best money I spent on my wedding!! She made the entire process from start to finish simple, fun, and stress free. Her knowledge of vendors made it so easy for me to choose those who matched the vision for my day and turn my wedding dreams into a reality! Lisa handled all logistics and scheduling for our vendor team - I literally did not have to lift a finger. The day of our wedding Lisa brought my vision to life in the most magical way. Any issue that arose - incorrect chairs and tables being set out by the venue, straps breaking that Lisa sewed back together, to our bar being towed into the venue 5 minutes before it was set to open due to engine issues on the way, Lisa handled before I could even know there was an issue. Our day went seamlessly because of her expertise and calmness amidst chaos. My husband and I had the most amazing start to our life together, and it never would’ve happened without Lisa.

We used Finishing Touch Weddings and Events partial planning services for our wedding in October. Although my husband and I didn't need much help in selecting vendors, Lisa and Taylor did have input and suggestions on vendors when we were stuck. Where their services really shined was 2-3 months out from our wedding! Taylor was our point of contact between our vendors which helped us due to our busy work schedules. Kristina made our timeline and ensured the day ran smoothly. On our wedding day, both Taylor and Christina were awesome. Our timeline was made perfectly and we never ran behind. Taylor basically served as our decorator/planner and we were thrilled to see the vision of our venue come to life!

Lisa was so amazing. She had every single thing under control and planned--even when we had a dress break!!! It was not in her job description to sew the dress back up, but that is what she did. She was so professional and an absolute pro, but she was also so kind and sweet and genuinely cared for us. She took care of literally everything; I didn't have to think about a single thing other than having fun and enjoying my friends, family, and new husband!!!

Lisa and her team are absolutey amazing people to work with. My wedding went on without a hitch! Within the first 5 minutes of meeting Lisa, I knew we were in good hands. She is a master of planning and coordinating! My wedding was perfect because of her and her team. We had a lot of vendors and she coordinated every single one of them with no problem. She also bussled my dress, helped fix hair, got the flowers pinned on the men, helped with putting up signage and setting tables, packing up at the end of the night and so much more. If you're looking for full planning or a day-of coordinator - this is the team you need.

I don't even know if the word amazing is good enough for Lisa and her crew. We weren't easy, it was a backyard wedding September 3rd and pretty warm outside. We hired Lisa to do everything to make our lives easy, and she definitely delivered. There were 120 guests that she made 100% satisfied. Everything she did was perfect, from the flower arrangements, table setups, dance floor, DJ, and even the valet team were all top notch. Lisa and her team made me and my husband's day so memorable! Highly recommend Lisa and her team! Aside from providing a recommended vendor list she made the entire experience of planning a wedding enjoyable and stress-free. The knowledge and experience she brings allows for perfect flow and timing of events on the actual wedding day. I felt like Lisa and Taylor were constantly reading my mind and were keenly aware of every situation which made the big day so enjoyable for both the bride and MOB. Lisa and her team are always prepared and can handle any unexpected situation. On the wedding day they provided bandaids to a bleeding bridesmaid, sewed the groom’s button back on his suit jacket and quickly crafted a boutonnière for a grandfather who had been overlooked. Lisa is able to do all of this while remaining calm and providing humor with her quick wit and awesome British accent mixed with a pinch of Texas twang.

Lisa and her team coordinated my daughter's wedding at Iron Manor and it was flawless. That is how you know you are working with the right team! The magic Lisa works behind the scenes to give her couple a perfect day is nothing short of miraculous. Every single vendor Lisa recommended were world class, professional and consistent in their communication and actions, just like Lisa herself. I run a business and I know what it takes to make something of this size come together seamlessly, when it looks easy, you know you have the best of the best because they have the experience to make it look easy when in fact it is very complicated. I cannot stress enough how much pressure it took off of me and my daughter to have and advocate that had only our best interest and happiness in mind. She protected us from issues, was firm when needed but also very kind when she could see it was all a bit too much. I cannot recommend Lisa enough for the amazing professional she is. All it takes is one call and you will understand the value she brings to the table.

My wedding was on 6/16/23 and Finishing Touch Wedding & Events made everything run so smoothly! We chose the “day-of coordination” option and Kristina and Jessica were so amazing. Kristina created a detailed custom timeline for our event, which helped ease my anxiety about the day. Jessica helped us create a floor plan that flowed very well and was aesthetically pleasing. Jessica also coordinated our rehearsal so that everyone knew what they were doing and where they were supposed to be during the ceremony. They were with me every step of the way on my wedding day without being overbearing. They took care of minor issues behind the scenes and I was never worried about any of my other vendors. I cannot recommend them enough!

We hired Lisa and her team as our “day of coordinator” for our wedding in May of 2023. We booked Finishing Touch about a year out from our wedding, and I believe our package included two months prior service, but we could contact them anytime after booking. I will say that the response time prior to those two months was very slow, but during the two months to the month before our wedding, their response time was much quicker. It was really nice to give over all of our wedding vendors to Lisa and her team and let them handle everything leading up to the wedding. It really alleviated a lot of stress leading up to the wedding, and allowed me to enjoy myself a whole lot more! Lisa also owns a venue that we used for our rehearsal dinner. This was really awesome because we were able to have her there for our rehearsal to walk us through everything. The venue was absolutely perfect too — it’s called The Oxford! Now for wedding day… it was absolutely perfect. I got married at The Carriage House and had about 200 guests. With this large number of guests and space, Lisa had everything under control and set everything up exactly how I envisioned. She truly listened to everything I said that I had wanted. Lisa also made sure that I enjoyed my wedding day and that I could be fully present for all of it. I am very grateful to her for taking care of everything behind the scenes that day! She had snacks and drinks for my fiancé and I during photos, and had our dinner plates at our seats as soon as we sat down! When we were pulled away for more photos in the night, she made sure to get us back on the dance floor asap, so we wouldn’t miss any more of our party! Lisa and her team at Finishing Touch were very efficient and thoughtful throughout our wedding day, and we were so grateful to have them there! I highly recommend booking with them for your wedding!

HIRE LISA! It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! I truly feel like I did nothing my wedding day except have a great time and that was all due to Lisa and and her team. I did quite a few 'interviews' and lots of research when picking a wedding planner. I knew I wanted someone to run the show the day of and help me make some of the design decisions. But we also didnt want to break the bank and we were looking for some less traditional ideas as this was our second / full wedding after eloping a year before. Lisa was perfect for us - she came with great suggestions for vendors, ideas for decor (and provided lots of it), support through the planning process and both my husband and I really liked her which made it fun! She also RAN the show the wedding day - making sure everything was handled behind the scenes for me, and protecting my time so I had the best day. I saw a few times well meaning vendors were 'corrected' by Lisa for asking me questions when she had all the answers. I had multiple friends and family come up to me after the wedding to say how much they loved Lisa and it was such a treat to get her photo dump from her phone the next morning. Our March 2023 wedding ended up being during one of the random cold fronts in Houston. We made a decision just before the wedding date to shift the layout and flow completely for the cocktail hour and reception. Lisa created and executed the flawess new plan and we have all said it was even more beautiful than the original layout outside.

Taylor did an amazing job for our wedding day-of-coordination! We could not have asked for a more perfect day. She was such a huge help and took care of literally everything. Working with Finishing Touch was great as they have a team of wonderful ladies who help with everything from your timeline to your floorplan and then make it all happen. Super happy to have worked with them and grateful to have had a stress-free and super fun wedding day! Taylor was amazing to work with and couldn't have done it without her! :)

We loved working with Taylor, she made our wedding day run so smoothly! My one caveat is that it was a little hard to get in touch with her at the beginning but as it got closer to the wedding she was on top of everything. Would definitely recommend.

I did not have a wedding planner and opted for a day-of coordinator. If you are hesitant to get a day-of coordinator, DO IT! The final month leading up to the wedding is the busiest one. Kristina and team did an AMAZING job helping me and prompting me to think through things I would've never even thought of by myself. I'm so thankful and happy with my experience with this team. Responses were kind, timely, and professional. My wedding day was perfect, all thanks to Kristina. There were hiccups but Kristina was able to work through those and everything still came together amazingly. I think you have to expect for things to not go as planned on your wedding day... but having someone like Kristina was helpful beyond words. She was cool, calm, and collected so that I was able to fully enjoy my day!

I knew I wanted to use her, but figured I should shop a few other planners just to see what was out there. Not only was she so highly rated, she was also very affordable, so it was an easy decision for us. From start to finish, she made everything so easy on me. We set up a budget about 14 months prior to our big day and she helped me stay on track throughout. She recommended EVERY vendor that we booked and we were so thrilled with each one. Even with my last minute (literally 3 days prior to ) requests, she made it happen! I honestly have so many amazing things to say about Lisa and her business. First, she is so kind and warming she made wedding planning feel less stressful! We hired her as our day of coordinator. She was always quick to respond and also was thankful she was able to attend our final details meeting at the venue. At the details meeting, she adding great insight of items I should consider adding as I was unaware prior to booking as well. She made the ease of menu selection a lot smoother as my now husband and self are indecisive individuals. You can tell Lisa knows the wedding business as she is quick and efficient. She also is appropriately bossy when needed for photos or to stay on time schedule. There were events which transpired during our wedding I had no clue about, but until after. That's when you know she handles all the stress for you and choose an amazing wedding coordinator. Lisa is amazing as well as the rest of her team. If you're looking for a day of coordinator I don't have anything but positive and nice things to say about herself and business she runs.

We had a "backyard" wedding reception. Lisa and her team were wonderful to work with in converting our garage and carport into a wedding venue. She provided the tent, chairs, tables, decor, etc. and turned our area into a beautiful setting for a bride and groom. The food of sliders, shrimp, mini tacos, and stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Lisa, kindly, took the pictures I wanted to use for decor and placed them on all the tables leaving me to just relax. I literally was a guest at our party and it was FABULOUS! No stress! Thank you Lisa for making our reception a fun and enjoyable experience.

Hiring Lisa with Finishing Touch Events to be our coordinator for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made during the whole process! No other word than AMAZING. Lisa goes above and beyond for her customers. We actually met her at our other friends wedding and saw her in action and said yep we need her, so we hired her the next day! She answered all my texts and if she couldn't right away, she always got back to me in a timely manner. She did all our florals as well and she likes to say she's no florist but she kills it! The décor was beautiful, and the photographer & dj were great. We appreciate all your suggestions! Most importantly, we had fun, our guests had fun, and we didn't have to lift a finger on wedding day.
