The day of timeline she created was perfect and SO helpful. On my wedding day, Jessica ensured everything ran smooth and according to plan. There was an issue that arose, but Jessica took care of it without me even knowing! When we realized we forgot the sparklers a few minutes before send off, I came up with a crazy idea to use the petals from the stage flowers. Without blinking an eye Jessica and her team started pulling petals! Those photos ended up being some of our favorite so far. We also loved that they documented our day on social media for us to look back on the next day. We started about 8 weeks before the wedding and had a super in-depth call with Taylor about the details of the day, which included her asking us questions we hadn't even considered. It was abundantly clear that she knew what she was doing and we immediately felt confident that our wedding was in safe hands. The week of, Taylor confirmed our timeline (and graciously made a few last minute adjustments we requested), reminded us of any last-minute to-dos, and reassured us the weekend was shaping up perfectly. On the day of our wedding, Taylor arrived right on time and began setting everything up for us. In addition to the meticulous planning and organization, she also clearly has an eye for making things beautiful, and she really brought our vision to life. Throughout the evening, she (and her team) made sure everything flowed perfectly. She made sure everything was set up exactly like we planned, she helped everyone enter at the right time during the ceremony, and she made sure we had food, drinks, and whatever we needed all night. She helped pack up our cars at the end of the night, she bustled my dress after the ceremony, and most notably, when I broke the bustle on my dress, she helped put 20 safety pins in to keep it secure all night. Taylor really went above and beyond for us and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone getting married in Houston!!

Lisa handled all logistics and scheduling for our vendor team - I literally did not have to lift a finger. The day of our wedding Lisa brought my vision to life in the most magical way. Any issue that arose - incorrect chairs and tables being set out by the venue, straps breaking that Lisa sewed back together, to our bar being towed into the venue 5 minutes before it was set to open due to engine issues on the way, Lisa handled before I could even know there was an issue. Our day went seamlessly because of her expertise and calmness amidst chaos. My husband and I had the most amazing start to our life together, and it never would’ve happened without Lisa.

On the wedding day, we had some things missing and she came through for me in a big way. Not only that, but she officiated our wedding as well. Since we had been working with her for a year on our wedding it was very meaningful to have her act as our officiant. Taylor was our point of contact between our vendors which helped us due to our busy work schedules. Kristina made our timeline and ensured the day ran smoothly. On our wedding day, both Taylor and Christina were awesome. Our timeline was made perfectly and we never ran behind. Taylor basically served as our decorator/planner and we were thrilled to see the vision of our venue come to life!

She also bussled my dress, helped fix hair, got the flowers pinned on the men, helped with putting up signage and setting tables, packing up at the end of the night and so much more. If you're looking for full planning or a day-of coordinator - this is the team you need.

I felt like Lisa and Taylor were constantly reading my mind and were keenly aware of every situation which made the big day so enjoyable for both the bride and MOB. Lisa and her team are always prepared and can handle any unexpected situation. On the wedding day they provided bandaids to a bleeding bridesmaid, sewed the groom’s button back on his suit jacket and quickly crafted a boutonnière for a grandfather who had been overlooked. Lisa is able to do all of this while remaining calm and providing humor with her quick wit and awesome British accent mixed with a pinch of Texas twang.

Every single vendor Lisa recommended were world class, professional and consistent in their communication and actions, just like Lisa herself. I run a business and I know what it takes to make something of this size come together seamlessly, when it looks easy, you know you have the best of the best because they have the experience to make it look easy when in fact it is very complicated. I cannot stress enough how much pressure it took off of me and my daughter to have and advocate that had only our best interest and happiness in mind. She protected us from issues, was firm when needed but also very kind when she could see it was all a bit too much. I cannot recommend Lisa enough for the amazing professional she is. All it takes is one call and you will understand the value she brings to the table.

Kristina created a detailed custom timeline for our event, which helped ease my anxiety about the day. Jessica helped us create a floor plan that flowed very well and was aesthetically pleasing. Jessica also coordinated our rehearsal so that everyone knew what they were doing and where they were supposed to be during the ceremony. They were with me every step of the way on my wedding day without being overbearing. They took care of minor issues behind the scenes and I was never worried about any of my other vendors. I cannot recommend them enough!

I will say that the response time prior to those two months was very slow, but during the two months to the month before our wedding, their response time was much quicker. It was really nice to give over all of our wedding vendors to Lisa and her team and let them handle everything leading up to the wedding. It really alleviated a lot of stress leading up to the wedding, and allowed me to enjoy myself a whole lot more! Lisa also owns a venue that we used for our rehearsal dinner. This was really awesome because we were able to have her there for our rehearsal to walk us through everything. The venue was absolutely perfect too — it’s called The Oxford! Now for wedding day… it was absolutely perfect. I got married at The Carriage House and had about 200 guests. With this large number of guests and space, Lisa had everything under control and set everything up exactly how I envisioned. She truly listened to everything I said that I had wanted. Lisa also made sure that I enjoyed my wedding day and that I could be fully present for all of it. I am very grateful to her for taking care of everything behind the scenes that day! She had snacks and drinks for my fiancé and I during photos, and had our dinner plates at our seats as soon as we sat down! When we were pulled away for more photos in the night, she made sure to get us back on the dance floor asap, so we wouldn’t miss any more of our party! Lisa and her team at Finishing Touch were very efficient and thoughtful throughout our wedding day, and we were so grateful to have them there! I highly recommend booking with them for your wedding!

d her team. I did quite a few 'interviews' and lots of research when picking a wedding planner. I knew I wanted someone to run the show the day of and help me make some of the design decisions. But we also didnt want to break the bank and we were looking for some less traditional ideas as this was our second / full wedding after eloping a year before. Lisa was perfect for us - she came with great suggestions for vendors, ideas for decor (and provided lots of it), support through the planning process and both my husband and I really liked her which made it fun! She also RAN the show the wedding day - making sure everything was handled behind the scenes for me, and protecting my time so I had the best day. I saw a few times well meaning vendors were 'corrected' by Lisa for asking me questions when she had all the answers. I had multiple friends and family come up to me after the wedding to say how much they loved Lisa and it was such a treat to get her photo dump from her phone the next morning. Our March 2023 wedding ended up being during one of the random cold fronts in Houston. We made a decision just before the wedding date to shift the layout and flow completely for the cocktail hour and reception. Lisa created and executed the flawess new plan and we have all said it was even more beautiful than the original layout outside.

I'm so thankful and happy with my experience with this team. Responses were kind, timely, and professional. My wedding day was perfect, all thanks to Kristina. There were hiccups but Kristina was able to work through those and everything still came together amazingly. I think you have to expect for things to not go as planned on your wedding day... but having someone like Kristina was helpful beyond words. She was cool, calm, and collected so that I was able to fully enjoy my day!

figured I should shop a few other planners just to see what was out there. Not only was she so highly rated, she was also very affordable, so it was an easy decision for us. From start to finish, she made everything so easy on me. We set up a budget about 14 months prior to our big day and she helped me stay on track throughout. She recommended EVERY vendor that we booked and we were so thrilled with each one. Even with my last minute (literally 3 days prior to ) requests, she made it happen! We could not be more thankful for Lisa and her team at Finishing Touch for making our big day even more amazing than we could have every dreamed!

She also is appropriately bossy when needed for photos or to stay on time schedule. There were events which transpired during our wedding I had no clue about, but until after. That's when you know she handles all the stress for you and choose an amazing wedding coordinator. Lisa is amazing as well as the rest of her team. If you're looking for a day of coordinator I don't have anything but positive and nice things to say about herself and business she runs.
