My husband & I used Fire & Brilliance to design my custom engagement ring & wedding band. Wesley was a great help & answered all our questions in a timely manner. He was even able to work with our timeline & budget. When I finally saw the rings, they came out even better than I expected! I am so pleased with the quality of service & craftsmanship, I will definitely use Fire & Brilliance again!

I just received my ring a couple days ago and I am absolutely in love. It’s better than I thought it would be! F&B Ordered an emerald ring as a birthday gift for myself. Got inspiration from several sources but wanted to change some aspects so needed a custom service. Marisa was very extremely helpful and understands what i wanted. No small feat as I’m ordering from overseas, very close to Christmas period and have a specific window of time that I’d be in the US to receive the ring. She was also very knowledgeable from technical & design point of view, she was able to give suggestions on all of my queries. The ring was everything I pictured in my head and more! I got everything I wanted in the ring. Everyone also complimented it. The bonus gifts that they send along were a great surprise!

Both of my rings are from F&B and they are just incredible. I’ve had my engagement ring for 3 years and it has held up beautifully. They created a custom matching contour band for me for my wedding after the initial engagement ring purchase and it is just perfect. I did a lot of research prior to buying an engagement ring and this seller was highly recommended in online communities. In my experience, I had questions for the company and had quick responses with helpful videos that aided in giving me answers. Love the quality of the ring and my fiancé cant quit staring at it!

I had a vision in mind that F&B turned into a stunning reality. Had CAD drawings with a couple of days. Only needed 2 rounds of minor edits before I gave final approval on 4/26/22. The ring was delivered on 5/20/22. The final product came out even better than I imagined. Went with a FAB Hearts & Arrows Cushion Moissanite in a solitaire platinum shank and it's absolutely gorgeous. All communication was easy and done via email. I would definitely shop with them again. Years ago we went through the process of submitting a custom design to Michael and the Fire and Brilliance team. It's been roughly three years and we haven't gotten any service since, but it still sparkles and shines like the first day I got on one knee and gave it to the most special person in my life. I couldn't think of improving on something, for someone who is so important to me. From the first we went back and forth with designs, to the finally seeing the ring arrive in the mail. The team made us truly feel like this was a process unique to us, like they were really working on an everlasting design that would surprise us for years to come. Yes, it's not a diamond. It's something even better. Nearly as hard and just as durable, it shines more brilliantly than anything you can get in store. It's clarity is perfect, and color so pure. You can really get lost looking in her ring and to this day, she is still complimented on the design. There's nothing like it in the world. So if you're wondering, stop wondering and write your own story today.

UPDATE: I’m writing an update to a former review and this is for the communication/customer care (I would rate my experience as a 2.5-3/5) not the ring itself (rated 5/5). F&B makes beautiful and unique products, but mine did arrive with a minor cosmetic defect as noted earlier. The staff is helpful and warm in their responses, yet misguided me to their insurance provider three times on issues that were ultimately the responsibility of F&B (e.g. the inherent product defect that ultimately could not be fixed- as it already passed their quality inspection for sales, and for warranty-covered cleaning and polishing). The website lists a warranty that covers polishing and cleaning, but do note that you have to pay for shipping both ways and it takes up to a month (e.g. it might be more efficient to go to a local jeweler). My ring was damaged during this routine inspection upon receipt (e.g. F&B left deep scratches in the inner ring), and F&B was going to make me pay for shipping it back AGAIN to fix their own mistake. At first, F&B just said it was simply cosmetic and no one would see it anyway (which was also their reasoning for the inherent ring issue, both occuring on the underside/inner ring). By principle, clients should not receive products with defects done by the manufacturer. It took several tries back and forth to have them simply fix their own error in leaving scratches during a simple cleaning and polishing and not re-charge me the shipping cost to do so. Again, the turnaround time was about one month. I was initially very excited to work with this company and support someone from the Vietnamese community and a local Californian business. However, I am one of the few clients who has had issues with their workmanship accountability. Unfortunately, this is the only vendor I've had accountability issues with for my wedding or anything else, really. Moving forward, I'll likely work with local jewelers for the upkeep of my ring due to the experiences above. The correspondence and care with Montage, the policy company, I would rate as a 5/5 on their ring resizing as well as timely responses to redirect issues to F&B. Ring (rated 5/5): My Art Deco rose gold ring with one of F&B’s created moissanites (Old European Cut), is simply stunning. The ring did have a very minor manufacturing imperfection/ indentation underneath, and customer service was very helpful in providing prorated pricing for the issue. Resizing the ring with the policy company (Montage) was easy enough, though COVID-19 correspondence in the summer with F&B did take longer than anticipated.

7 weeks after wearing my wedding band, a diamond fell out. 7 months after getting the engagement ring, the main stone fell out. The company says I bent it, but I don’t remember it being bent and I never took photos before returning it for repair. Thank goodness I still had the center stone. THEN the company said it was outside of their regular warranty repair work and that I’d need to pay... even though I purchased the lifetime guarantee! Beautiful stones but horrible craftsmanship... buyer beware!

Fire & Brilliance is fantastic. I was looking with my now fiance at engagement ring options over the past year. I was very torn about the diamond industry as a whole and I felt uncomfortable during our trips to different jewelers and their sales tactics. I started looking at alternative gem options and came across Fire & Brilliance through Michael's YouTube videos. I had no clue that he was the CEO, I just thought that he had great attention to detail in regards to all the options out there and the videos were amazing quality when comparing different gemstones. I began looking at moissanite as a diamond alternative, and Michael had several videos comparing different brands and cuts of moissanite in different light settings as well as discussing the different properties of each stone. We created a custom engagement ring through Fire & Brilliance and it is beautiful. I get endless compliments.
