We are so happy that we chose Fire and Co to cater our wedding and rehearsal dinner at Autumn Lane Estate! From initial booking to our tasting to the wedding day, they were so organized, professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Sarah was our event manager and she did an incredible job throughout the planning process and during our events to make everything run smoothly. The food was phenomenal - super tasty and beautiful presentation. Several guests told us it was the best food they had had at a wedding!
We loved Fire & Co for our wedding! We had so many compliments on the food and drinks, and the staff was so friendly and supportive through the whole process!
BOOK THEM NOW! The entire staff at Fire and Co. are so accommodating, professional, and skilled at what they do. The food is amazing and we got so much positive feedback from our guests about the food. Not only is the food delicious, but the presentation is spot on. We used them for our welcome dinner, wedding day cocktail hour and reception dinner/late night snack, and Sunday pizza brunch. You won't regret booking them for your wedding!
Fire & Co provided the most wonderful wedding catering experience! Communication up to our wedding was consistent and clear. Matt was great to work with and helped us navigate through the many decisions. The food was seriously unbelievable. The service during the wedding was seamless. I could not more highly recommend Fire & Co!
Ryan and his staff provided an unbelievable experience for a recent fundraiser at our family's event venue. on April 29, 2023. I have observed the wonderful experience Fire & Co has provided our couples for their weddings, but being a guest at an event just took my praise for this caterer to another level. From the food, to the service level of the wait staff and the bartenders, the quality, professionalism and service was exemplary. Thank you Fire & Co for making our event so memorable for all who attended. We are still receiving cudoes!!
We absolutely LOVED Fire and Co for our lobster-bake rehearsal + black-tie wedding in Maine. We were running short on time and hired the first caterer that got back to us, but afterwards, literally every one of our vendors and the planner praised the choice. We were totally blown away during the tasting--every item (including the veggies) was so darn good. Fire & Co also gave us some other appetizers that we didn't initially select, but they were so delicious that we ended up modifying our menu. The whole experience was even better during the wedding--the food was cooked over firewood with incredible flavors (almost every guest made a point to praise the food). The appetizers were wiped out before we came back from our post-ceremony photoshoot. The Fire & Co team was very professional during the entire event, including with communication, operating in a cooking tent, serving drinks, serving food, and cutting the cake. Most importantly, Fire and Co served our other vendors the same food served to us (I was told that not every caterer does this). My only regret is how quickly dinner was over. I think very highly of this team and strongly, strongly recommend them.
Fire & Co is the absolute BEST! Our top priority for our wedding was to hire a caterer with really good food and great service. This catering company is hands down the BEST IN MAINE. I would describe them as sort of famous in the Maine wedding industry. The excitement expressed by our other wedding vendors finding out that Fire and Co would be who was feeding them for the night was honestly the absolute best feeling. It was like we knew we didn’t have to worry. The recipes are authentic and the food is absolutely exquisite. Everything is perfectly flavored and absolutely delicious. We loved the farm to table philosophy and the importance this company places on supporting local businesses. The presentation is the real WOW factor. If you want your guests to be impressed-this is your caterer! We opted for family style service, which I would highly recommend. The presentation of the food was so bright and vibrant which turned out to be a real conversation starter for our guests. The service of the dinner just flowed so perfectly. It was like magic! We looked up and all of our guests were eating at the same time! No one was without food and the portions were so plentiful. The staff was pleasant, friendly, and worked so hard to make everything run so smoothly. Matt St. Hilaire was our event manager. He was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was so responsive and worked so hard to make our wedding perfect. He even prepared two special tacos for the me (the bride) to eat before I walked down the aisle! One of the wonderful staff even helped me get my sneakers on so I could dance more comfortably when I couldn’t find any of my bridesmaids! So many of our guests (including those picky, difficult to impress people) came up to us complimenting the food and the drinks. We cannot tell you how many people told us “that is the BEST wedding food we have ever had!” It makes us so happy to know that our guests were wowed and really enjoyed the food. We could not be more pleased with our choice in Fire and Co as our wedding caterer. Hands down-the best decision we made. They really went above and beyond to make our wedding one to remember! We are so grateful and highly recommend them!!
We're so glad we hired Fire & Co. for our wedding in Scarborough, ME. We went with a non-traditional reception and wanted more of a backyard BBQ feel with casual but elevated food. Fire & Co.'s mobile wood fired pizza oven was an obvious choice for us, and turned out to be exactly what we wanted. Communication with Lauren, their event manager, was excellent. She helped us create a menu that was catered to our personal tastes and also very crowd pleasing. Our guests loved the passed hors d'oeuvres including lobster rolls, empanadas, tacos, pork belly and charcuterie. The salad, roasted vegetables and pizza were *fantastic*. Many wedding guests got in touch with us after the wedding to tell us personally that the food we had was amazing. Fire & Co.'s pizza service also included a bunch of pizza for the afterparty which made the whole wedding party very happy happy after a long day of partying. Using their bar service, we were able to source some local craft beer which was near and dear to our hearts. The bar service itself had some hiccups and there was a bit of oversight when it came to ordering enough alcohol to serve our guests throughout the duration of the event. Despite this small issue, our guests were still able to completely enjoy themselves and it by no means ruined our night. Most importantly, Fire & Co. rectified the situation with us directly. They were so attentive to our feedback and their customer service was above and beyond anything that we could've imagined. For us, that makes a huge difference. This is a company that delivers high quality products and high customer service. We would be very confident in recommending them to anyone after our experience.
We used Fire and Co throughout our wedding weekend and couldn’t be happier with our experience. Everyone was professional, friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing, we’re still hearing from guests that it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. Everything about Fire and Co was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for a better caterer.
One thing that I cannot deny about Fire & Co., is the quality and taste of the food. We chose the pizza menu and it was amazing- our guests were ecstatic and extremely satisfied (as were we) with the taste and execution of the food portion of our wedding. The servers were kind, professional, and wonderful as well. However, the experience leading up to, and the bar service at our wedding, left a lot to be desired. We had many guests give feedback that one of our two bartenders was rude throughout the night- including my Husband, who was treated rudely by the bar staff. As far as the Bar went- there was a complete lack of preparation and proper stock for our bar. Both of our signature cocktails had limes in them- which we chose months in advance- however the bar was out of limes within an hour of our event starting. There was no cranberry juice supplied and yet it was on the list as a mixer and we had hired a full bar. Throughout our experience with Fire & Co., we had delays/ineffective communication, and multiple corrections needed on our end with invoicing and orders. We were initially working with Fire & Co. pre-covid, and while I appreciate them moving our event date when we had to reschedule our wedding, the positive experience ended when our initial POC left. If you have a massive budget and don't care about being nickeled and dimed- you will love this vendor, because I cannot lie that the food was absolutely incredible. But if you are looking for a vendor that will work with you on price and offers flexible options (within reason) this is not the vendor to work with.
Working with the Fire & Co. team was an absolute DREAM! We had Lauren D. as our event manager and the entire planning process with her was so wonderful… she answered my many, many, MANY emails and questions promptly. The team really went above and beyond on our special day. The personal touches Lauren helped to make happen like securing specific beer offerings and having the bar perfect our “signature drinks” meant so much to us... We loved having the feeling of personalization at the open bar to really give that wow factor! The food and drinks not only tasted amaaaazing but were also so aesthetically pleasing, which was so important to me and greatly appreciated by all. As soon as our bridal party finished our ceremony exit we were greeted by Fire & Co staff with a stunning platter of apps & cocktails! Our friends and family won’t stop talking about the food (especially the lobster rolls and chicken n’ waffle bites!)…. The pizza couldn’t have fit the rustic Fall vibe we were going for more too… The pizza was gourmet style and the potatoes & roasted veggies were perfect with it. Fire & Co.’s wood tables, platters & pizza oven were gorgeous and also huge conversation starters with guests. The tons of leftover pizza that our bridal party got to snack on late night in our pjs was also SUCH a plus!!
Fire & Co. exceeded our ridiculously high expectations we held them to based off amazing reviews & our venues recommendation! Our wedding wouldn’t have been as fit for us without them as our caterer & bar service. 10000% recommend to anyone in Maine looking to impress their guests with beautiful & delicious food!
When we began planning our wedding we knew that food + beverage was going to be the most important aspect. My wife + I are huge foodies! I come from a family of chefs and also happen to have worked in the catering industry myself for the last decade. Fire + Co exceeded our expectations in every way possible.
From my initial call with Ryan, I felt like I was the only wedding in their calendar. He took the time, in the middle of the pandemic to get to know me, understand our likes and dislikes and truly be a sounding board for all things catering. His team was responsive, professional and simply down to earth...everything we could have wanted while planning a wedding mid-pandemic. They helped to design a menu that was delicious, seasonal, fresh and catered to all of my guests dietary needs.
From start to finish, the Fire + Co team was amazing. During cocktail hour the passed apps never stopped flowing and they were always served with a smile. We decided to do a grazing style station for dinner and our guests to this day are still raving about the food. Not only the deliciousness of it all but the presentation and service as well. We wanted to give our guests not only great food and service, but an experience. Having Fire + Co on site with their smokers and wood burning stoves was the perfect conversation piece that we were looking to bring to our wedding. I truly can not say enough about this group of professionals + just how grateful we are to have been able to work with them for our wedding.
We worked with Lindsey throughout the planning process + she was even there on the day of to make sure that everything went smoothly. She was a literal angel to work with! She was patient, detailed and always had a smile on her face. She never missed a beat and allowed my wife + I to be truly present on our wedding day.
We can not recommend Fire + Co enough!
When it came to planning our wedding, the food was of the highest priority from the start. We wanted something unique and we wanted people talking about our food after the wedding - Fire & Co delivered and then some! We started the weekend with a Fire & Co catered rehearsal dinner that was unlike anything our guests had ever seen. Appetizers included tacos, brisket sliders and a bar stocked with all of our favorites. The team even went out of their way to secure us a keg of Maine Beer Co's Lunch IPA. For the main event, the wood fired pizzas (especially the meatball with ricotta!) had our friends and family happily devouring slice after slice while insisting that everyone try each variety. The dessert finale is best captured by a text I received from a friend a month after the wedding: "I just had a flashback to the peanut butter cup s'mores... god bless you guys". To say the bar was high going into the wedding would be an understatement. But somehow, Fire & Co upped their game even more. From an unreal cocktail hour that included oysters, lobster rolls, deviled eggs, charcuterie and bacon-wrapped scallops to name a few, to a dinner of perfectly cooked steak and chicken accompanied by mexican street corn and a shaved brussel sprout salad I still think about. Everything was PERFECT. And that's all just a review of the delicious and beautifully prepared food! The team themselves (led by Ashleigh) were consistently amazing, responsive and patient with a crowd that were making the Casamigos margaritas disappear like magic tricks. If we had to do it all over again we wouldn't change a thing. And as for guests talking about the food after the wedding, a friend's text from the morning after sums it up best: "send me all the meats from last night." Thank you Fire & Co for being a huge part of our magical weekend!
The best choice we ever made for our wedding was hiring Fire & Co. to cater! The food is amazing and their entire team (Matt + Margie especially) are so great to work with. Our guests have been gushing about how good the food was for weeks now and we loved how flexible the menu was. Highly recommend!
We chose Fire and Co for our wedding and rehearsal dinner, and we are so glad we did! Ryan and his team are absolutely phenomenal all around - so accommodating, creative food, amazing preparation, wonderful staff. We can’t say enough good things! Our friends raved about the pizza, lobster rolls, shrimp, and tacos.
Go with Fire and Co, and you will not be disappointed!
Incredible food and service. The lobster rolls were incredible. We had guests at our wedding who are on a strict keto diet and they scarfed down lobster all night. The main courses and bar service were incredible as well.
The staff and owner at Fire & Co. were amazing to work with! Planning a wedding during the pandemic was not easy, but they did everything in their power to give us exactly what we wanted, and they did just that! The wood fire pizza was so delicious, our guests are still raving about it months later! Would 100% recommend Fire & Co. !
I had very high hopes based on the previous reviews. We had originally planned a 140 person wedding using the Noble BBQ food truck (sister company). Due to COVID19, our wedding plans changed and we had a 24 person intimate family wedding. We worked with Fire and Co to plan this event. About 7 weeks from our wedding day, we were told they were changing to a limited menu due to lack of staffing due to the pandemic. We ended up with a hybrid (bbq/grill meal) that was sub par. What frustrated me most, was seeing that they were still doing a full menu for some events on Instagram despite changing our whole menu less than 2 months away. While they tried to work with us given the situation, I was left unsatisfied. Many details were missed. Communication was difficult during the whole planning process starting back to pre-pandemic. I am unsure where the ball dropped. I was thinking that since our wedding was small, it would be easier to plan but I guess they felt other larger, more expensive weddings were more important at the time.
We would HIGHLY Recommend Fire & Co. to anyone getting married who would like a unique and delicious menu of offerings! We got married in November in Portland, ME at O’Maine Studios. O’Maine didn’t come with its own caterer, which was perfect for us because we wanted to choose our own caterer. We knew we wanted something delicious, but also a bit unique. As people who absolutely love food, we wanted caterers who cared about aesthetic and made amazing food. We also both really love pizza, so it was a no brainer to hire Fire & Co. We chose the pizza menu and Fire & Co was very accommodating with special dietary requests (gluten-free, vegan, etc.). We were concerned leading up to the day that it would be freezing (it was) and/or snowing (it wasn’t thank goodness). Fire & Co totally alleviated our concerns, saying they would be there freezing cold or blizzard. They cooked all our food outside in the cold on a blustery November day and it was all warm, delicious, and beautifully presented.
We had a tasting of some appetizers before the wedding and discovered the amazingness that is the chicken and waffles. Also we cannot recommend the lobster roll enough - that perfectly toasted bun and the crunch of the potato chip create seriously heavenly bites. One of the bride’s requirements for hiring a caterer was a cheese board and Fire & Co created such a beautiful and delicious spread for us. We were also so psyched that during the wedding they put together a little platter filled with all our chosen appetizers just for us (the bride and groom) to enjoy as we were running around taking photos during the cocktail hour.
We worked with Tyler & Matt leading up to our wedding and they were both so responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Matt led the Fire & Co team the day-of. He made sure everything went smoothly and checked in with us before he and the team packed up to ask if we needed anything else and to let us know they left some food for us in the back.
They are well-worth the price! Catering is the thing that you will spend the most on for your wedding and we would absolutely spend the money on Fire & Co again. It was worth it to be showered with compliments from guests about how much they loved the food - how unique and delicious it was, and how they were all completely satisfied with the amount and the variety. People loved the presentation of their food as well, commenting that the food was delicious and beautifully displayed.
We keep saying, months after the wedding, that if we could go somewhere to have Fire & Co food every day, we definitely would. We especially want that lobster roll again.
When we found out we could have pizza at a wedding we knew that would be perfect for us. First off, the appetizers were fabulous, our guests loved each and every part. The roasted vegetables were perfectly cooked! The salad was incredible and the pizza was honestly some of the best pizza I've had. Our wedding consisted of around 180 guests and they were able to work with that many guests flawlessly! The staff was absolutely amazing and so nice to work with. They made our day so special and provided us with a meal I will never forget!
Fire & Co. was amazing for our November wedding. We decided to do heavy appetizers throughout the night instead of a plated, sit down dinner. Initially I was worried that people would be hungry, but that was not the case at all. We had meat and cheese board, vegetable board, lobster rolls, brisket sliders, black bean quesadillas and chicken and waffles. We also has Fire & Co. provide dessert instead of having a traditional wedding cake. They brought an assortment of mini pies, which were a huge hit. Everything tasted amazing and everyone raved about the food after our wedding. I would recommend Fire & Co. to anyone looking for great food for their event.
When Stephanie and I were discussing what we wanted for food at our wedding (Oct 5th, 2019) we knew we needed a caterer who is great at what they do. Being a chef, food is a part of my life everyday. It brings people together, makes them happy, and a good meal is never forgotten. We knew family style was the way to go. The Fire & Co team was amazing. They worked with us to create the perfect menu. From meeting the team at our tasting (by the way, best tasting ever) to the end of our wedding, we were not disappointed.
Fire & Co went above and beyond. From Margie, Tyler, Chef Sarah, Chef Jason and the team. If you are looking for your guests to be wowed this is the caterer for you. From the beer truck to the smell of wood burning, it had everyone excited. The display for cocktail hour was great (small hiccup with product being misplaced, but you would have never known. The staff had a plan and it was fixed before the ceremony ended. This is a true test to a great team) Appetizers were amazing, friends who never had an oyster before, can’t wait to try another. Dinner was perfect. When have you ever been to a wedding and your guests couldn’t stop raving about salad course? Everyone is still talking about the dressing on the wedge salad almost a month later.
It was great to see Margie helping her team. So many times event leads are never seen. She made sure to check in with us and see how we were doing all night. Even had her team put our leftovers in the fridge at the house with a cute note, to the happy couple. We were so excited to eat them later since we filled up on tacos, deviled eggs and oysters. It was super great when opening our cards from friends and family and getting one from the Fire & Co team. Everything about them is exactly what we were looking for; they helped to make our wedding day perfect.
Ashleigh and her team were amazing! They made sure to check in with us throughout the evening. The guest ranted and raved about their service and food and complimented on how friendly all staff was! Thank you so much for making our wedding an evening to remember!
Fire & Co. was incredible. After choosing our venue my husband and I booked fire & co probably a year and half out because we were so enthusiastic about this company. We were lucky enough to have Jamie and the owner Ryan on our wedding day. The amount of love and enthusiasism they brought to the experience was incredible! It felt like our wedding wasn't just another wedding for them because you could tell how passionate they both were about their food and experience. The food was amazing- we had the pizza truck for our main course along with veggies/ salad and appetizers. Our guest fell in love with the lobster rolls, and the running joke became how many lobster rolls could one eat. They also were great with our dog who was very intrigued by the pizza truck. Do not wait to book this vender!!!!! It will change your entire wedding for the best.
We got married on 6/29/19, and Fire & Co. stole the show. The truck itself garners attention, and once the food started to roll out our guests were so impressed. Our appetizers included lobster rolls, street tacos, veggies, charcuterie, etc. – and it set the tone for what was to be an amazing and beautiful night. When you tell people you’re having pizza for your wedding, some people get a cheap image in their heads – that image was completely dismantled when our guests saw the spread that Fire & Co. put out for the pizza dinner. The staff made sure to get myself and my bride our own personal “couples platter” as to not miss out on all the appetizers while being pulled all over the place for photos, etc. The wood fire pizza is so delicious, and we continue to receive compliments and comments on how amazing the food was at our wedding. Working with both Tyler & Matt at Fire & Co. was a wonderful experience, and both were incredibly helpful in planning our Maine wedding from across the country. We cannot thank them enough for the quick responses in communication, their advice and expertise, the delicious tasting last summer, and for the final product that us and our guests will never forget.
Fire & Co catered our wedding in Portland on April 27th, and they were the absolute best! They answered all our questions and were flexible with the menu to accommodate our gluten free loved ones. They were super prompt in answering our e-mails, and of course, their food was INCREDIBLE! We are such pizzas snobs and all of our guests could not spot talking about how delicious the pizza and appetizers were! And the truck is so funky and a great center piece for any event. They also made sure I had some delicious craft beer to drink, and my now husband had some great bourbon to go with the amazing food. Really, I could not recommend them more! Thanks so much guys for helping make that the best day of our lives!
Simply the best. Great food, great presentation, great service. I would not have changed a single thing about the food at our wedding. Not only did they do an amazing job, they constantly made sure my husband and I had enough to eat and drink! My only regret is that I wish we had gotten to eat more of the amazing leftovers-- my family devoured it all late-night after the wedding!
The food was outstanding, the staff was friendly and reliable and the equipment (beer truck and slow cooker) were beautiful. This company is amazing.
We chose Fire & Co. as the caterer for our wedding because we wanted an open concept, outdoor food & music festival vibe. Not only did we choose the right caterer through our venue, Marianmade Farm, but these guys checked every box we were looking for. Being from Brooklyn, New York, Maine was not initially within our vision as a destination. But we fell in love with its beauty, small coastal towns, as well as the beer and food! And Fire & Co. delivered beyond our expectations!
Fire & Co went above and beyond to help execute our plan and vision. They brought in their draft beer truck, wood-fired skillets, and wood-fired oven for pizza. We also used Fire & Co.for our rehearsal dinner where they served wood-fired lobster and tacos. Ryan, Richard, and all of the staff were extremely helpful leading in and during the process of planning our wedding. They were very responsive and paid attention to every detail while staying within our budget, (because, we wanted everything).
Their knowledge of local breweries, wineries, and food in general just makes them all that more special. If you are looking for an open-kitchen concept, where food is presented in front of guests with flare, then Fire & Co. is your answer! Oh, and ALL of their people are really great too.
You will not regret hiring them as your caterer. Our guests raved about the food (we selected the pizza package)! So many said it was the best pizza they had ever had. Not to mention the fact that they make a bunch of pizzas and box them up for you to eat later on. And may I say, when you’re sitting on the floor of your room, drunkenly trying to pull hair extensions out; having an entire cold pizza sitting in front of you is exactly what you’re gonna want. It was delicious and Richard and his staff were absolutely amazing. Just do it.
We are so grateful for the amazing job Fire & Co. did while catering our wedding in Fryeburg a few weeks ago! Everything about them was exactly what we were looking for. They were friendly to work with, had delicious food, and the food/drink trucks provided such a unique element to the whole day. Throughout the entire night, I kept hearing from guests that the hor d'oeuvres were unbelievable, the pizza was unlike anything they had ever had before and that the drinks (especially our signature Pineapple Painkiller) were out of this world. When I first told my mother we were having pizza at our wedding, she was quite skeptical, but she literally came running up to me after eating, raving about how great it tasted and how elegantly all the food was presented. Other guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had... way better than "rubber, tasteless generic chicken." We're so thankful we chose Fire & Co. as they were one of the reasons our wedding day turned out so perfectly.
Because pizza is our favorite food, we knew as soon as we got engaged that we wanted Fire and Co. to cater our wedding in June, and I cannot thank Peter and the gang enough for their fantastic job. The staff was cool, friendly, and went above and beyond the entire day. The aesthetic of the truck was perfect, the food was raved about by our guests, and best of all it offered a casual and unique buffet style experience (without drab metal schafers). They also provided biodegradable plates, utensils, and napkins which kept our rustic appeal while allowing for easy cleanup and saving money on rentals. My favorite part of the entire day was when Peter delivered a tray of appetizers to my husband and I following the ceremony to enjoy alone before re-joining the reception. We were able to savor a quiet moment along with some of the best food I've ever had - perfect. Would highly recommend for any occasion!
Fire & Co. catered our wedding at Broadturn Farm in Scarborough, and we are so happy with the decision we made to use them. From the minute we started working with them straight through the wedding, Ryan, Peter, and their entire team were awesome people to work with. Peter answered our every question and was so incredibly helpful the day of (picking up donuts and setting up our ceremony chairs - he went above and beyond!) The food couldn’t have been a more perfect fit for the day. We went with the grill menu, passed apps, and the most perfect table of cheeses & charcuterie I’ve ever seen. Everything was delicious, beautiful, and I am still hearing from our guests that it was hands down the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. Throughout the night their entire team was friendly and all over every detail, making sure our guests were satisfied in every way. There isn’t a thing we’d change about the day of our wedding, and a lot of it is thanks to the team at Fire & Co. We can’t possibly recommend them enough.
We used Fire & Co's wood-fired pizza menu for our wedding. Ryan, Richard, and their team are THE BEST. From the appetizers, to the pizza, to the s'mores, our guests were raving about everything they ate. The food was amazing. Richard was so attentive to every detail and so responsive leading up to the wedding, he made planning fun and a breeze. You can tell immediately how passionate they are about what they do - and it shows in every way. I can't recommend them enough!
Look up A Plus in the dictionary. Then somehow make it better. Fire & Co. literally made our wedding. This company is the top shelf of top shelf. From the planning through the wedding day Ryan and his crew were well beyond amazing. Every little detail taken care of. And the food? Wow. Outside of this world. So so good. Hire them and you will not be sorry.
we love these guys! from the beginning they were great with all of my annoying emails and questions and responded quickly. all of the guests at our wedding said it was the best food and drinks they've ever had at a wedding!! we highly h highly recommend them! Peter was our point person and he was awesome helping out all night. A+++***** times infinity. :)
I have celiac disease and am also a huge foodie, so finding an amazing gluten free caterer was high on my priority list for planning. I could not be happier with choosing Fire and Company!!!!!! Many of our guests told us our wood fired feast was the best wedding food they had ever had, and my husband and I completely devoured the leftovers (and by leftovers I mean a huge tray that the crew saved just for us!) the next day. They also saved me my own personal appetizer plate that had a gluten free version of the lobster roll on cape cod chips.
We wanted our wedding to be rustic elegant with a backyard barbecue feel and Fire and Co helped us achieve that. SO HAPPY and GRATEFUL!!!!!!!!!!! <3
Our venue was 2 miles outside of their 45 mile travel distance and they refused to cater our event. We even offered to pay extra and they still refused. On top of that, it was like pulling teeth trying to get them to respond to my emails. All in all, it was probably a blessing in disguise that we will not be hiring them due to their extreme unprofessionalism.
We had Fire & Co for our wedding in August and they did a phenomenal job. We consistently get comments from friends and family how amazing the food and bar was. We did the grill menu for our wedding day with the beer truck and specialty cocktails- so delicious. We also used Fire & Co for our rehearsal dinner and used their pizza truck. Everyone loved it! They are so friendly, courteous and easy to work with. Highly recommend them!
We couldn't speak more highly about Fire & Co! They did all the food as well as the bar service for our wedding. Both were incredible. All of our guests RAVED about the food and the service was incredible! Fire & Co was an absolute pleasure to work with and made the catering portion of the planning process about as stress-free as possible. We have already recommended them to some couples starting their wedding planning. We can't thank you guys enough for everything!
We got married just outside of Portland, Maine, which was a mini destination wedding for all of our guests. Everyone was coming from out of town so we decided to host a "Welcome Party" the night before our wedding at a local brewery in downtown Portland, in lieu of a traditional rehearsal dinner. My favorite food in the world is pizza and I was adamant about making this part of our wedding weekend. We looked at a few local caterers as well as some pizza shops, but ultimately decided to have Fire & Co. cater the event, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with the outcome. They were super flexible throughout the process and we were able to choose six different and unique pizzas to be served to our guests, which was great because in a group of 80+ people, everyone has different preferences. On top of the pizzas we also had two large salads served with them and two passed appetizers prior to the pizza/salad service. All the food was impressive and delicious. The pizzas came out at such a rapid pace that no one came close to leaving hungry. Despite that, and the aforementioned 80+ people, the quality of the pizzas were still amazing and well thought out, with fresh ingredients. The food and service was second to none and I would recommend Fire & Co. to anyone looking for a tasty and fun wedding food experience.
I had a fantastic experience working with Fire and Co. for my Peaks Island, ME wedding. Our guests absolutely raved about the food - we used the grill menu - and especially loved the appetizers (the grilled oysters and mini lobster rolls were favorites). Since we had our wedding on an island and I was afraid the logistics of the catering were going to be really complicated but Fire and Co. were total pros.
They took care of absolutely everything, we only had to rent plates/silverware/glasses (which isn't even necessary because Fire and Co. can provide). It was perfect having all of the food made right on site and the service was timed perfectly. Their staff was friendly and helpful and extremely accommodating throughout the planning process. Oh, and they were able to get Maine Beer Co. Lunch on tap which REALLY impressed all of our craft beer snob guests. One of the best decisions I made was choosing them for my caterer - I can't recommend highly enough.
Fire & Co was amazing! Their food was probably the best we've had at a wedding (or ever - and we promise we're not just saying it because it was our wedding). From the moment we had our tasting, we knew we had made the right choice. We chose the grill menu & used them for our bar as well. I'm not even kidding, it's the best chicken I'd ever had - I was apprehensive about serving chicken until I tried it. Our guests are still talking about it! For the bar, we told them what we wanted for our specialty drinks and they delivered!
Beyond the impeccable food - we devoured the leftovers - Fire & Co was a great company to have at a location that's not a typical wedding venue. We didn't need to rent extra things for them (catering equipment, generators, water supply, etc. - they took care of it all). They're a little difficult to get in touch with because they're so busy with events, which got frustrating once in a while in terms of making sure that they'd received payment or other logistical things, but the food made up for all it!
The food for our wedding was delicious! The appetizers looked AMAZING. I wish I got to eat them all, but cocktail hour went way too quickly!! We did family style and they got the food out to all the guests extremely quickly. We got a lot of compliments on how good it was. We did the wood fire comfort menu. We also used them for bar service. The bartenders were really friendly and made great drinks! They were great to work with through the whole process. They also took great care of the vegetarians, so that was nice too! Ryan was also flexible with the menu and letting us sub items out. Overall a very positive experience and amazing results. We would definitely recommend them to cater your wedding or event!!
I will keep this short and sweet. Fire and Co. catered our wedding of 200+ guests. MANY of the guests affirmed that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We agree!
What drew us to Fire and Co. was the uniqueness of the food they produced. If you are looking for unique delicious food and professionalism - book Fire and Co, it's a no brainer!
Wow! This company cannot be beat when it comes to fantastic wedding catering. I have never had memorable food at a wedding but I will remember theirs. I am still receiving compliments from guests about their food. Guests literally would run to get the street tacos as they were being served! They were not only very affordable but great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone getting married in Maine.
I ADORE this company. The entire team is always so dedicated to being kind, helpful, patient and flexible. They are so incredibly on top of their game - a true joy to work with. As a vendor, I have the pleasure of working with Fire & Co. often and they never cease to amaze me. They are easy to communicate with, respond promptly, true to their word, ready and willing to help, and most importantly: truly talented at what they do. Amazing eats, amazing staff, amazing company. Thank you for being such a great Friendor, thank you for doing all that you do.
We cannot say enough good things about Fire & Co. They were absolutely the perfect caterer for our wedding and seeing everything in motion was even better than we could have imagined. The food, especially the pizza, was delicious, our bar setup was perfect, and the s’mores to end the night were just amazing. Eamon and I always knew we wanted pizza for our wedding meal and Ryan and his crew delivered above and beyond what we had hoped for!
Fire and Co. catered our wedding this June and were a perfect match for us, from the excellent food to their laid back, but exceedingly helpful service. We highly recommend them and believe they were integral to making our wedding day perfect.
We'll start with the food, which was uniformly fantastic. Appetizers were lobster rolls, beef tacos, buffalo chicken sliders, and deviled eggs. The deviled eggs were a particular standout, but each app was great in its own right (we heard raves about the lobster rolls from the Mainers in the party, which is high praise in Maine). All were easy to eat, tasty, and not super messy. The servers even made sure that we were able to get a little of everything while taking pictures: our guests would probably have eaten everything otherwise!
Dinner was equally delicious. We had short ribs, pulled pork, and salmon with kale caesar salad, butter lettuce salad, grilled corn and veggies, and bacon wrapped asparagus for side. Our favorite were the short ribs, which many of our guests said were their favorite, too. They were enormous (almost Flinstone sized), tender, and meaty. Fire and Co. were also able to cater to our lone vegetarian with a ravioli dish, which she said were some of the best ravioli she had ever had.
Both salads were also great. Caesar is a particular favorite of ours, and Fire and Co. hit the right balance between saltiness and creaminess in the dressing, and the ratio of crouton to cheese to kale. Finally, for dessert we had s'mores, which were a nice way to cap everything off.
Fire and Co. also provided servers and bar service for our wedding, which, like the food, was phenomenal. Everyone was very friendly and appeared to want us to have the best party ever.
From a logistics perspective, Fire and Co. made everything easy for us. Ryan helped us design a great meal, made sure we stayed in our budget, and helped us make sure we catered to everyone's taste (it's tough to make a whole crowd happy). Ross managed things day of, and made sure everything went smoothly. The team helped us set up our tables, clean up, and make sure that everyone was full and happy. The clean up was especially helpful, as it meant we could end out night knowing we didn't have to take care of anything in the morning.
All in all, Fire and Co. did everything possible to make great food and make things easy for us. Our families are very into our food (we a lot of home cooks, and even a professional chef), so it mattered to us that they could give us such a great experience. They even felt like part of the venue with their grill setup (which looks great and matched our farm venue). We can't imagine a more talented or capable caterer for a wedding and give Fire and Co. the highest recommendation.
We had Fire & Co. provide catering and bar services at our October 2016 wedding and couldn't be happier that we did! Ryan answered my many questions leading up to the wedding, and the team that was onsite for our wedding went above and beyond to make sure all guests were eating and drinking, and having a great time. We had a lobster bake and open bar for our guests, and they are still raving about incredible the food was! The appetizers were delicious, and the way they display the food is really neat. The pitmasters, waitstaff, and bartender always had smiles on their faces and did such an amazing job. Highly recommend!!
We heard nothing but extremely positive reviews about Fire & Co. before we ultimately decided on them, and now we have to add to the chorus of strongly favorable praise. Their menu and presentation very much complemented our barn wedding theme. They were very reasonable to work with leading up to, and during the actual feeding process. They catered our rehearsal dinner with the pizza truck, and then served guests off the grill menu for the wedding feast. What a feast it was indeed. Mini lobster rolls, meatballs, and deviled egg appetizers flew off the plates. BBQ pork and chicken were equally popular mains, in addition to two varieties of salad and generous sides. We opted for buffet style, and do not regret it one bit. The pit masters and waitstaff all graciously took care of everything, going above and beyond our expectations, with exceptional hospitality. The proof is in all of our accolades our guests mentioned to us throughout the night on how amazing the food was.
Fire and Co did both our big welcome dinner and our wedding and we loved them!! We had the pizza truck for Friday and it was super delicious. The truck is also ridiculously cute. Saturday we did the spitfire meats. All our guests were talking about how good the food was. People seemed truly impressed with it all -- both the food and the presentation. They are also easy to work with and very nice guys. Oh and the Reese's peanut butter cup s'mores were a big hit!!!
We were thrilled with the job Fire & Company did catering our wedding.
We had tons of questions from the outset and Ryan answered every one (and our repeated follow-ups) and helped guide us all along the way. We went with the pizza dinner, which we found very affordable, and added a second salad for just $2/person.
Everyone was raving about both the apps and the pizza itself - some even said it was the best pizza they'd ever had! Ryan and his staff was super accommodating and made vegan and gluten-free pizzas for our guests with dietary restrictions. The s'mores went over beautifully as well.
We had an indoor/outdoor wedding and it was a great touch having the truck in the backyard with our guests - it looked great and was fun to watch the cooks at work.
We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out and Fire & Company was a huge part of making our wedding day a success!
Fire and Co did a great job catering our wedding! When people heard we were having pizza for dinner, I don't think they knew what to expect. But once there, they were blown away. The apps during cocktail hour were really yummy and filling. They worked with me to personalize the cheese platter without any issues, and talked me through a good combination of apps to serve when I was overwhelmed by all the options they had! The way they display all their food on the buffets/stations is really unique and added to our decor. Having the truck on site was also a great addition to the decoration and feel of the wedding. Top everything off with peanut butter cup s'mores and extra pizza to bring to the after party, what could be better? I definitely recommend using them for your wedding and no one will ever say they had a bad meal at your wedding!
Fire and Company catered our wedding this September and we couldn't have been happier! The food was phenomenal and the staff friendly efficient and fun! The layout of the buffet looked so amazing and it was great to smell the food as they cooked it right in front of the guests! Ryan was so easy to work with, he was so responsive whenever I had questions and made it easy to work within our budget. I would recommend Fire and Co 10000 times!!
Having a wood-fired oven out at our wedding was just right. The staff was outstanding, the apps were amazing and the overall experience that Fire & Co. brought was absolutely perfect. The team's effort in helping us plan leading up to the day was easy and they never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. I can't recommend these guys enough and wish we could have the same event all over again just to experience it one more time.
We chose Fire & Co. on the recommendation of our wedding planner, and they did not disappoint. We chose the wood-fired pizza menu plus three appetizers for our wedding reception. The pizzas are delicious, creative and cooked on-site in their truck oven. They did a great job of ensuring that a buffet-style service with an unpretentious menu did not feel cheap, via their elegant food display and unique and whimsical truck. Their tasting was a delight and they were a pleasure to work with prior to the wedding. They accomodated all dietary restrictions (gluten-free, vegetarian, lactose-free) as well. If you have any special requests, you may want to double-check the week before to ensure they've included the special items or restrictions on the menu. Highly recommended.
My husband and I picked our wedding date based on Fire and Co.'s availability so already you can tell how much we love their food. The appetizers were amazing and I highly recommend the mini lobster rolls. They were such a hit. The pizza was fantastic and everyone loved the trucks. I was also so impressed by the service and Ryan and his whole team. Everyone always says how you never get to eat your own food at the wedding but the folks at Fire and Co. made sure that my husband and I always had food and a drink in hand. We did an open bar with the bar truck which was also a hit with guests. If you are looking for a fun group of people to serve you at your wedding and amazing food I would highly recommend Fire and Co.
We had Fire & Company cater our wedding and had the best experience. Ryan was a total blast to work with and the food was incredible. We had appetizers and pizza and everything was absolutely delicious. Ryan also made s'mores at the end of the night that were to die for! Ryan and his staff were so awesome, we really could not have asked for more.
Ryan and his team did a wonderful job catering our wedding. He was super responsive (and patient) during the planning process and definitely delivered on the food the day off. His prices were extremely reasonable and he was very flexible. We got the lobster rolls as an appetizer and they were off the chart. We had smores at the end of dinner that received rave reviews. It was the perfect choice for our laid-back and personal wedding.
