I hired Teissia almost immediately after getting engaged. I needed someone who didn't look petrified when I told her that I'd be unavailable and out of town 80% of the time, but still wanted to make the decisions. She told us she was flexible, and she definitely was! Teissia understood what I wanted from the beginning. She sent suggestions, narrowed down options, and attended the majority of the vendor meetings, making my life so much easier. And when we got to the actual event, everything went perfectly. I have no idea if there were problems, Teissia handled everything perfectly. Even my mother was impressed. I have to say, now that I don't speak with her constantly I definitely miss her. You should hands down hire Firefly Events for your wedding, you won't be disappointed!

Planning a wedding is such a stressful life event, but luckily Teissia is there to save the day!! :) After hearing several horror stories about wedding planners taking over weddings, destroying budgets, etc., I was a little more than nervous about finding someone affordable and helpful. A little type A, I have a hard time trusting someone else pay attention to the details I feel are important. But luckily, I stumbled across Teissia's company via yelp. We hired Teissia for "day of coordination" and were so impressed with her organization skills and availability. I put "day of" in quotations because Teissia was definitely more accessible that just the day of. From day one, Teissia was super accessible via email or phone to help answer silly questions and help guide us through the planning process. She also attended our final wedding venue walk through in addition to our rehearsal. She also coordinate/confirm with all our vendors the week prior to our actual wedding day. She also helped create our day of schedule. The day of our wedding Teissia was already on site when we arrived. Everything, and I mean everything, was taken care of. I really have no idea if there were any big mishaps or last minute emergencies because Teissia and her assistant took care of everything. She was great about checking in with us throughout the day to make sure things were going as we liked/hoped. She also helped troubleshoot on the fly (e.g. when several of our older guests were getting tired, Teissia helped make sure to move our cake cutting up to help some of these guest feel more comfortable leaving early). At the end of the day, Teissia even helped make sure all our belongings and gifts were packed away into our cars. There aren't enough positive things I could say about Teissia and her work. I really don't know what we would've done without her. My new happy husband probably summed it up best at the end of our wedding, "WOW! Teissia saved us!" NOTE: Teissia also currently works in the NYC too.
